Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey everyone, happy Wednesday. It's episode 55. Welcome back to the show. Let's do it. Hello, guys. It's Jacqueline. Happy Wednesday. Welcome back to the show. Middle of the week. Jacqueline's feeling like a lackadaisical piece of shit today. Just to be honest. I don't know. I think I'm going to remember the 50s. The 50s episodes as kind of the I got to get my shit together episodes. You know what I mean? I don't want to sit here and be negative. But like I am recording this at 3 p.m. And what did you guys hear me say Monday? This is gonna be the week I set my schedule super early and do all this scheduled shit all day long and I still have my alarms telling me that I'm behind but anyways um one of those weeks and it's a
Starting point is 00:01:14 learning experience this entire show is learning experience I'm not a pro at this I don't pretend and I'm not trying to come on here every day and sell you guys that I'm amazing because this is hard for me to to do every day I'm starting to realize that 50 episodes in holy shit but you know what I always pretend and I just did about I don't know I only could get to about 18 push-ups uh when I don't go on my knees okay in this case I do not go on my knees for push-ups okay uh I always pretend David Goggins is screaming at me when I get in my head like I just don't feel like it or whatever. So anyways, I got, I got some coffee going. I got my French press of just black coffee now because it's, it's cold here in Southern California. It's like a nice
Starting point is 00:02:00 cozy fall day. The air is crisp. I feel really good. I always think podcasting energizes me and makes me feel better, but I I'm tired today. Okay. That's what's up. All right. I sound like the most dramatic annoying person right now but yo who isn't tired it's like you wake up all of a sudden you're 25 and every morning I wake up and my back hurts and well recently I have my that's not normal for a 25 year old first of all uh my back still hurts it's been two weeks my lat has been pulled from my dead lifting anyways and I'm I'm tired I'll sleep a full eight hours got my whoop strap on telling me Jacqueline you got you recovered 95% this morning still tired took a nap I basically broke my day down you guys are tuning in this is a reality
Starting point is 00:02:49 show I'm telling you about my day this is an audio diary this is a vlog so let me tell you what's up I basically did I flip-flopped my day instead of waking up and doing my podcast stuff first I did my work first and now I'm doing it and I feel discombobulated and honestly I gotta flex right now I'm drinking my water out of a Nutribullet cup and I put the comfort grip on top I balled out and got the comfort grips for it. So I'm going to take a drink right now. Settle in, ease my mind, gather my thoughts. We got to get into this Alex Jones Rogan podcast with Tim Dillon. I thought about maybe going to YouTube and reading the comments today because they're funny as fuck. And how many views does it have? Five million. Of course it does.
Starting point is 00:03:38 but I watched that last night okay I gotta say this about that episode I just assume I'm talking all other fellow podcast nerds out there but uh I was watching it and I'm like life is so fun like the fact I was so entertained I was laughing my ass off the entire time and um like dying of laughter he's like it was the most entertaining thing I've watched this entire year I do think that I talked about my ranking yesterday my Rogan episodes this year and I think that just went up to number one I think that beat out Kevin Hart because I just I couldn't stop laughing at him especially at the end when he was getting he's like starting to get drunk and kind of like Joe was talking about his health and I just like I don't know it's funny but um fucking life is a
Starting point is 00:04:24 movie I was watching that going there's so much we don't know and if you do the research I mean this man dedicates his life to reading articles you know he was saying like you know fucking 500 a day he's you know doing this for 18 hours a day and he wants to take a break but if you you know he it's like this is how i think of alex jones just from watching that yesterday i was like he basically has he like ods on information we have the internet we have access to all this shit and he's like an addict like an information addict trying to find answers to all these fucking conspiracies and shit going on in the world and he's in so deep with it that apparently grinds his teeth so hard they like break off now anyways i was so entertained and it's it's fun as
Starting point is 00:05:11 a you know i'm in the ring i'm contributing content to the internet myself now doing a podcast but i love consuming it i love sitting back and getting entertained and last night that episode was gold everything I'm just like being a human being on this planet not knowing what the fuck is going on and hearing someone else try to explain shit is so like I just I enjoyed the fuck out of myself I was uh yeah anyways I'm starting to embrace the fact that the shit that lights me up is like middle-aged men having conversations with each other on podcasts and that's it I think I don't know what I assumed I think talking to my younger self sometimes I go on this podcast too I don't know I think about what would I want my younger self to know or
Starting point is 00:06:02 whatever but I don't think my 18 year old self would have thought oh yeah in your mid-20s you're gonna like spend your evenings watching podcasters talk about crazy shit um I guess maybe I thought I'd be yeah this is I maybe you know at this point I'd have a rosé collection and you know six girlfriends by now like to hang out with and a dog and a boyfriend and maybe I was engaged at this point maybe a kid on the way I don't know but I'm just a fucking nerd right now in my life I feel like it's it's crazy I'm like is this it sort of makes sense when I I do a lot of reflection on my childhood I'm like was I always a curious cat and like liked learning about I don't know conspiracy stuff I don't necessarily dive deep I just like to hear about it if that makes sense
Starting point is 00:06:57 I don't know if you guys can relate to that first of all hope you're doing well I always like to check in I'm like ah this is weird I'm just self-soothing talking about my life and my thoughts but seriously i hope you're uh riding out this month you know it's almost november holy shit what a year um but i'm sure some back to what i was saying segue i i wonder do you guys relate to like just sitting back and getting entertained by people diving into conspiracies but you not actually getting in deep with it yourself that's my shit i watch it and i love just being I just like it for the the entertainment aspect I guess because the second I get second I take conspiracies seriously and start making it this religious like I believe this and I'm gonna
Starting point is 00:07:49 go research more I'm on and I get down a rabbit hole I don't like that I don't like that feeling in my body I get I get like nervous I'm in fear I question my reality I question everything around me and I got to take it in small doses. Speaking of that, I didn't really know what to talk about today. Like I said, I'm feeling like a piece of shit, at least a piece of shit, but hey, I'm getting it done. Episode 55. Come for me, bitches. I got 55 fucking episodes for you right now. I'm working on my 10,000 hours. You know what I mean? I'm on hour 55. That's actually so intimidating to think about I calculated it I think episode like seven I calculated how many years it would take me to do this to get to 10,000 hours because that's the whole you know becoming
Starting point is 00:08:42 an expert at something uh apparently like basketball players you know shooting a basketball for 10,000 hours playing basketball I don't know they'll go to the NBA I don't even know what the example as I'm trying to tell you. I thought I could go into, uh, random things today. I have a college job story I want to tell. I want to talk about, I was going to read the comments on the Alex Jones episode. I want to talk about, um, brush up on my latest thoughts on, I guess, influencing, because I haven't talked about that in a minute, and I kind of feel like doing it. Feeling, you know, like I got, I got a comment to make. So I haven't mentioned my, um, speaking about getting in too deep with conspiracies. Let me try to spell this
Starting point is 00:09:36 out for new listeners. I had this analogy I made, or I came up with an analogy about like influencing and plugging people's products and their companies on your, on your gram and you know being on a PR list and getting sent products and showing it off on your you know like I've been I went in deep with that before but let me brush up on it too if you didn't listen to that now I'm bringing you up to speed so basically I'm a recovered no I'm not like a recovered addict or you know how people are like I'm a recovered perfectionist no I am a former wannabe influencer who basically spent the first half of my 20s being like wishy-washy like I kind of want to do it but it doesn't feel like me and I just felt like this is the thing to do you know what I mean
Starting point is 00:10:27 like brand reach out to brands try to like make something happen for yourself with Instagram and become a Instagram blogger person with all kinds of connections and get on their PR list and all that stuff I thought that that was my path and it was and I wanted to be a YouTuber wanted to make vlogs and be a beauty Instagram or like influencer person so you get it basically I was in this I had this internal battle though the whole time because I'm now realizing that I'm glad I didn't go down that route and I'm like you know what it works for some people it's not for me because I've maxed out I don't know about you but I'm maxed out of products I'm maxed out of getting told to swipe up use my discount here's a code I'm maxed out like the perfect eye cream exists
Starting point is 00:11:14 ladies it already exists okay there's not a new one that's going to come out in a month that's going to actually change your life it's I'm just maxed out I have what I have that I like I don't need to go tell everyone about it and I not to be this is the thing though it were like some people love it it's their hobby just like I like talking to myself on a microphone every day people enjoy it it's it's I can't suck I can't I can't um shit on that so I just found out for myself that doing that thing isn't for me and at the end of the day what's cool about it is someone had a dream someone had a dream to create a like I'm just using makeup as an example that makes sense in my head but they had a dream to have a makeup line and these influencers these bloggers
Starting point is 00:12:00 are basically on the front line they're like the soldiers out on these streets keeping that person's dream alive plug-in product showing their followers to you know the latest and greatest shit and and then that's how that company and that's how that person's dream stays alive so that's important I think it's definitely the modern way to do shit now but as far as like my internal struggle not for me okay I just decided that when I would go to take a photo of you know not only my breakfast and my coffee and all that shit. So, you know, it's like starting the day out. Here's my breakfast. Here's my coffee. Now let me take my followers into my bathroom right now. And then I go take photos of my skincare and my makeup shit. Whenever I do anything like that, I feel
Starting point is 00:12:44 like it dulls down my life experience. And I don't know, I haven't heard this conversation before. I don't hear a lot of people talk about how when you take a moment out of the day, because your pay your child I'm just saying I feel like you're a mom or yourself your your paycheck is dependent on you take taking a moment out of your day to take that photo and to show your followers like I found that whenever I did anything like that it dulls my reality it makes my life suck a little bit more I I'm like over I have to think about aesthetics and how my manicure looks and the picture and posting it and then it's like this hiccup instead of just going to put on my makeup I'm all of a sudden documenting what I'm doing and again it's it's people's hobbies it's a lot
Starting point is 00:13:34 of women's love I I again it's I'm not shitting on it I'm just kind of describing my experience with doing those types of things and so now I don't know if anyone notices like on my Instagram I just basically avoid that at all costs. I, it's not like my dirty little secrets. Like what makeup do I use that I don't want to tell anyone. It's like, I just don't want to have a lifestyle that is in that world. And I've been like, here's an example. I remember I was at a shoe launch, uh, when I used to work at a startup company, I was on a shoe launch hike thing and the entire event was set up and so aesthetic and beautiful I'm like this is because everyone wants to take pictures for Instagram like the whole place was basically set up this picnic table teepees everything was
Starting point is 00:14:25 like aesthetic and I felt so uncomfortable I was like I just I'm a reminiscer you know what I mean I'm a boomer I'm a millennial boomer I felt like shit like can can we just be here and have fun at this picnic in this hike and it was to but we're here for the shoe we have to show our followers the shoe we're working with this brand like the whole I just don't it didn't work for me okay some people love that shit they like decorating and they're like going into the the picnic or the the dinner event they like they like it I just don't I you know what I like to watch old men I like to sit around and watch old men talk I'm like I would rather sit and watch fucking Alex Jones on Joe Rogan and like my hobby has my my priorities my what I'm interested in
Starting point is 00:15:19 what I want to take time to do completely it completely changed I mean I'm reading like these fucking weird books now about like the stock market like I never got into this shit I was always distracted with I gotta be like an influencer I gotta get my everything like products accumulated and it looks good see that's the thing too it drives me nuts when I'm like well people do things for aesthetics and like your whole life is like your reality like the way you decorate your home the way you take a photo everything is about like aesthetics and I just it makes me uncomfortable I'm like I like messy shit I like holes I like stains I like bad manicures no I'm just I don't know I think we need there's a balance I think people have
Starting point is 00:16:05 overdosed and they're in too deep and I get again it pays their bills so um I guess I just wanted to touch on that today for new listeners um I obviously am very opinionated about it um I don't know it's like if I run out of shampoo I just go buy new shampoo and I know that work that works for me I don't like the fact that I know like I've seen so many different people show me so many different shampoos so I get paralyzed when I'm at the store I'm like well I don't know what to do and you know it's fucking annoying sometimes and look I'm not about all that like adapt shit like oh this is what you this is what you do now it's 2020 adapt adjust you know follow the trends, follow what everyone's, you know, attention, do that thing. I don't,
Starting point is 00:16:53 dude, I decided I don't like it and I don't do it. Now I'm a podcaster. Okay. I decided I don't want to be a Instagram blogger person. It didn't work for me. It never felt like my cycle, the psychology aspect of it fucks me up. I'm like literally getting information overload every day from other people and I don't want to contribute that to the people that follow me I don't want to be I don't want to confuse people suck their intuition show them shit every month it's new they got I got sent to for free and then I take photos of it so then when they go look at me they think I'm fucking rich and cool because I have this stuff and then I didn't really buy it myself it's misleading I just think it's time you know what it's 2020 I'm maxed out I'm maxed out there's
Starting point is 00:17:41 enough products. There's enough, there's enough skincare products that'll make your wrinkles go away that we don't need anymore. I joke about this. I'm always like, look, how many more fucking shades of eyeshadow do we need? It's not groundbreaking. It's not interesting. I don't know. That's just my, that's just my opinion. But again, it's people's hobbies. It's their love. People love that shit. I'm just, dude, I'm burnt out. Um, anyways, I was, should I read the Alex Jones comments on the YouTube right now. Would that be interesting? I got a book I was going to read you. We're going to go over a vocab word today because I'm giving myself a vocab test this week. Stock market vocab test. You know what happened? It's like I, how do I explain this?
Starting point is 00:18:30 I feel like I'm putting myself back through college or like I'm doing a refresh or reboot and now I'm finally learning about things that are necessary to know I I kind of feel like a dumb fuck sometimes like a uneducated loser because I don't know maybe it's like Jacqueline you're a woman you know like someone and I'll take care of you someday who gives a fuck but joking, but I think I've been distracted with social media, and seeing all this, like, the, these, all this shit that's not important, and I, it's my, hey, I did it to myself, I followed these people, I got sucked in, I sucked that, you know, I drank that Kool-Aid for the first half of my 20s, and now I'm like, fuck, I don't know anything about, you know, I, I can't spat off
Starting point is 00:19:18 stocked market terminology like I wish I could or you know I go into um right now it's a stock market next it's probably going to be I don't know like real estate understanding that better I was going to get my real estate real estate license this year uh lost my job but now I'm into stocks um so I'm not trying to like preach but like fucking get your priorities straight okay get your priorities straight don't go your whole life being like well I just I just don't get it I don't know how it works I don't know how to pay my bills I don't do taxes what the fuck's going on I don't know how to figure it out like I'm trying to this podcast is helping me address the things that I suck at and that I want to improve and now I'm sharing it with you guys but I don't know
Starting point is 00:20:07 that's kind of where I'm at sort of going along with that after watching Alex Jones talk last night you know he's a lot a lot of energy a lot to uh take in but I realized that there's some truths obviously with what he said um clearly poor Jamie I just I gotta say this I mean his first day back after getting COVID he's having to google and try to keep up and fact check fact check Alex Jones the whole time I mean like he still can't taste shit and he's like trying to like find the stuff and it's really you know a lot of it was hard for him to find but anyways uh there's something to be said about as a you know average joe an average jacklyn just a person in society there's something to be said about the fact that we're distracted by a lot of
Starting point is 00:21:01 bullshit and it's kind of fun it's like well yeah it's fun like it's filler you know i i have a fun life because I have filler stuff you know I have stores to go to I have a gym I have you know bars and restaurants and I can go hiking and this is kind of a weird example what am I saying I'm saying that like I'm realizing I need to know I need to really understand how the world works for my in order for me to be successful in my 30s 40s 50s for the rest of my life because I don't want to be spinning like a top, just kind of twirling around in the rat race with the rest of society, not really knowing what's going on, not really knowing how anything works and just having fun and being distracted. Like I really am starting to go, fuck, I gotta, I gotta take the
Starting point is 00:21:52 time to, to learn and, and read and watch. I, I feel like, yeah, again, I'm like, I don't know this is relatable to anyone. Sometimes I feel like a dumb ass, but like, it's easy. It's easy to just watch football on Sunday and like chill and go to work and do your job and, you know, not really explore and try to find out what's going on. But I don't know. I don't really feel like talking about the, um, college job I had. I don't know where that came from. I think I mentioned it yesterday. I was like, well, I had a, I were, I ran a consignment store in college, like an antique consignment store. It's like, I could talk about that today, but I don't know. I don't really feel like it. I didn't watch The Bachelorette last night. That show, honestly,
Starting point is 00:22:38 after the last week, I was like, this shit's unwatchable. I might do a spoiler alert and find out who went home, but maybe I'll watch it tonight. It's going to be a super productive afternoon, so I know I told you. I feel like a lazy piece of shit. Started this really late. Um, the fifties are that, okay. The fifties, I'm in my fifties right now. This is 55 dates, 55. Wait, what's that movie? 51st dates. I joke that we're dating. Cause I talked to you seven days a week. Like what other woman in your life talks to you seven days a week? Uh, but like, I've been at this shit for 55 days now and I'm slipping, you know, I, I, I feel like I need to get my shit together anyways you know what this might be this podcast just might be
Starting point is 00:23:24 an experiment like a trial or something where I'm taking you guys along the ride with someone who decided to become a daily podcaster like what is it like behind the scenes what is it like to do this every day I think that's that's an aspect that's kind of a consistent theme throughout each show is I always reflect and talk about my podcasting journey and and my creative process and everything and eventually with guests and interviews and everything it'll change and evolve but in the first I mean the second month it's kind of a shit show okay another drink of water out of my neutral bowl cup got it up to you guys got my curtain rods delivered today so I'll be putting
Starting point is 00:24:15 making it official I'm making it official with my apartment I'm tying the knot tying it down putting holes in the wall because I've been in you know wishy-washy all year not really knowing if I'm gonna stay but I'm here to stay I've got I've got curtain rods to install new curtains coming tomorrow buying a water filter this is do you guys tune in for this uh yeah we're getting back to the reality show part like what did she buy on Amazon um and then I think I'm gonna end this I'm gonna like kind of keep it short and sweet for you guys today and read it the Alex Jones the comments and kind of go into that um but yeah I'm trying to think of like life updates work out this morning you know same shit different day I feel like here's what I want to say if I
Starting point is 00:25:01 could inspire anyone right now uh or whatever like here's something fun to get you guys fired up And I'm noticing that it's kind of trendy to go to Instagram, go to your story. And I like hate follow people now that I'm realizing it. Do you guys do that? You're like follow someone after a while, you're like, I'm annoyed. And I'm sure, I'm sure I'm that person for a lot of people, like people out there probably muted me, unfollowed, whatever. I know what that's like to follow someone though.
Starting point is 00:25:32 And you're kind of just like, it's getting under your skin. But I've, part of my job is I'm on Instagram. I follow a lot of people. So I see a lot of different types of posts and I think it's become a, there's this movement of going to your story and talking about all your problems and your mental health issues and what, you know, what you're struggling with and like bonding with people over just like poor old me and like having a pity party. And then that attracts people because it's relatable and it's therapeutic and it's, you know, it's good for the soul. Like you're gushing and you're talking it out with your followers and you guys can have this little pity party together. But I think, again, with everything, with products, overdosing on too many bloggers telling you to swipe up and all this shit in front of your face. I feel like I like to see the, I've muted a lot of shit.
Starting point is 00:26:29 that's my latest thing like it's getting really I got a slim crowd to to watch on my Instagram now it is really really tiny uh can't recommend that enough just like go and mute 99% of the people on Instagram and like every day I'm just like mute mute mute mute uh because I just I want I'm at this phase where I want to get fired up okay I'm watching a lot of David Goggin shit like that kind of content a lot of Andy Frisella I want to get fired the fuck up I want to like re-energize like rebirth myself I already told you you know I'm going back to college re-educating having this like new exploratory lifestyle with reading and learning about the world but I just am sick and tired of like meek sad people coming to the internet to talk about like like be gentle on
Starting point is 00:27:24 yourself it's okay to have a bad day but they do that seven days a week it's like your life isn't all this you talk about all this self-improvement self-help stuff but what's the goal like what are you after seven years of posting about that what's your goal what's the outcome what do you want do you want to be a badass like you talk about or are you just going to sit and complain every day so I'm just at this point where yo I like to go to the gym in the morning I'm like this is what I do okay uh I just like to fucking feel like a badass first thing in morning get snatched for you guys get my jawline going why do I ever say that I am so embarrassed that I ever said that but I'm like basically go to the gym in the morning to get the energy going
Starting point is 00:28:03 feel like a badass go hard to start my day drink my coffee feel the endorphins and I write for my show like I get all my notes everything I'm gonna talk about going and I don't know it's not that hard it's like find out the shit that like pumps you up I don't know if it's like metal music you gotta listen to or just really hardcore rap just get off Instagram stop watching people have a pity party and get the fire the fuck up jump in a cold lake I don't know do a cold shower do all the hard things in the morning and I don't know it's working for me right now I do the cold shower thing I'm not trying to flex it's just like I have a hard time and this is another another thing I'm insecure about is like relating to women around my I guess my I don't know my age
Starting point is 00:28:53 group but like I feel like I'm not I don't know I don't know if this is too deep or like unimportant to mention but I don't I just can't relate I'm like I feel like a man sometimes like my brain is just like, I don't get sappy and like, I don't want to have a pity party. I just want to be a, I look, I follow a lot of fucking pro athletes and like David Goggins people and Andy for some, like just hard ass motherfuckers that are like, you know what? And here's a reason for, I think, um, to go and reflect on childhood. Like, why am I like this? I feel like my parents were really we were they were hard asses they were like when i really think about it i had hard like my parents had a short fuse for bullshit you know we worked hard i remember they made us
Starting point is 00:29:49 pick up sticks in the yard one day it was like every twig had to be picked up out of the yard i remember that was the most miserable shit we ever did as kids i i like what like they'd make us at the like run laps around the house like fucking you guys are like we're pissed off at you like you're too wired at night go exhaust yourself run laps around the house don't come inside for an hour or make us walk home oh my gosh yeah that was a thing getting kicked out of our car is this like child abuse I don't care it made me who I am I feel like it set me up for life but they would get pissed off at us in the car we'd have like a car fight as a family like they I'd do something wrong and my mom like kick me out pull over that was always so scary but my mama
Starting point is 00:30:32 pulled the car over and like kicked me out and I'd walk home like five miles or whatever that's probably the longest and then sometimes like we didn't have phones like I couldn't call for help I couldn't call an uber I had to walk home I don't know I'm just noticing with people around me I guess again my age group I don't want to make this like oh fellow women but I just I struggle with that I just feel like there's not a lot of there's a lot of low energy pity party sad it's you know I gotta blame a little bit these movements you know what I mean everyone's babysitting other people's problems it doesn't even apply to them and they're like I don't like how this group is being treated so I'm gonna go advocate for them and because I'm a good person
Starting point is 00:31:20 and then it's all this virtual sign virtue signaling and it's just like everything is a problem i don't know who said i was listening to uh you know sam tripoli i think it was his podcast this morning he was saying how nothing will ever get solved like racism uh sexism everything like every social justice movement we're fighting for it's not like there's going to be a solution because we're always going to find another problem like as humans we're always trying to like find the bad thing and then go try to fix it and so it's this constant chase forever think of history if you brush up on your history today I don't know like go to history.com what happened to the world you know what let's do that and I'm going to bring up something you're
Starting point is 00:32:05 gonna be like well still going on today history.com today in history this day in history yeah I do this a lot October 28th I'm just saying like I don't know I was trying to make this like a I don't want to be a weak bitch say topic or whatever segment do you guys remember when I got real specific about my day and like all the details and the coffee fact oh no I got an ad okay I cannot stand by the way I don't know if you guys notice this the ads for politicians right now that are like governor did this last month and fell asleep in a meeting and then this person doesn't even live in this city and doesn't pay taxes and it's so dramatic so i can't wait for these ads to be done i'm wearing a turtleneck today and i'm regretting it um but it's been
Starting point is 00:33:00 cold here in california so october 28th the st louis gateway arch is completed 1965 that's cool i'm trying to find something that's like um 1919 today congress enforces prohibition okay let's see italy invades greece 1940 holy shit crazy world war ii cold war 1962 I know I'm just trying to make the point that nothing ever is solved and so I just get annoyed when I don't know I'm just annoyed today obviously people have nothing to do they're so bored they're so unemployed and they have just they're just babysitting other people people's oppression and then that's in it in it that's oppressing people in itself or whatever it's
Starting point is 00:33:56 like the whole um it's like white people advocating for the black lives matter movement it's like or whatever like what do people say about the democrats are like they're um they're like you're being oppressed and they're like they're like projecting that on them like telling them and then i've seen a lot of people come out i've watched a lot of obviously like tiktoks and videos online which dude those are great sources those are direct from the horse's mouth you know what I mean people coming on their Instagram story people coming on their TikTok or whatever YouTube vlog and they're like I don't feel this way and then they're like waking up to the fact that they're it's being like put on them so I just feel like everyone like my mom
Starting point is 00:34:39 says stay in your lane Jacqueline stay in your lane we do that as a family whenever we're getting heated it's like everyone's stay in their lane okay um but yeah that's what people need to do stay in your lane, focus on yourself, work on yourself to be the best version. No, be a loving, giving, kind person in society. Giving is huge. You know, what can you do to help other people and actually like use your talents and your strengths to help the world. And don't be, don't just don't, don't be a professional complainer on, on the internet. And I realized this is the thing I got to be you know rational right now it's not the majority of the world you know what I mean this is a small population of people I see and I happen to be a social media
Starting point is 00:35:29 addict someone that's got a phone in my hand all day it's part of my job it's part of my life and so I have the I'm coming from a you know a privileged like I have social media I have access to all this stuff person like that perspective and at the end of the day it's so small like these people complaining professional complainers don't make up they're a small population anyways just thought I'd hide to mention that what was I gonna do oh I was on history.com I was gonna read Alex Jones comments maybe to wrap this oh I don't know because I thought I read a couple I thought they were entertaining now I'm kind of regretting this let's see
Starting point is 00:36:14 I don't have any I just I love watching podcasts let's never use Clinton as an example of the QAnon people being wrong okay if you listen closely you can hear Eddie Bravo
Starting point is 00:36:37 panting the outside of the toaster everyone trying to get in oh i like how people call his studio like it's like a toaster oven a toaster um i don't know this is kind of a bad segment why did i do this i don't know this is a segue alex breathes joe let's fact check that okay this is not that funny especially for the people that are like i'm not i don't i just like don't care about podcasts and this shit dude it was the most entertaining thing I have watched this entire year or for in a long time like
Starting point is 00:37:17 it's I just could not again I was like you know I nerd out to this shit as it is but it's like better than anything Hollywood puts out it's real life it's like it's the laughter was coming from the fact that I had this realization that I am a I am no like I have no, I mean, I am in control of my own life, but there's a lot of stuff out of my control that I have and I have no clue what's going on. And the best decision I ever made was going on a podcast every day and exploring my life and talking about it. And I think over time, you guys are going to notice I'm going to be as knowledgeable as Tim, Tim Dillon. Holy shit. Like he I'm just like looking at this picture right now sorry uh like that guy is he knows shit I
Starting point is 00:38:09 want to be like that I I just like I want to know shit I want to be able to pull up stuff off the top of my head and I guess that the reason for that it's about feeling like a I don't know like a full person I don't know that it's not it's not like I I'm trying to unpack the reason for wanting to become more educated it's because I'm it's genuinely because I'm curious and I want to I don't want to be okay let's get deep actually I think part of the reason I want to know more or whatever is I've had a lot of bad experiences and conversations in professional settings where I get questioned about like my like
Starting point is 00:39:11 I don't know how to explain it like my my fucking I get questioned about what I say or whatever and people go like well what the fuck what do you mean what do you mean what do you mean I always I've been um called out and made to feel stupid sometimes in conversation and I'm having like it's like I hate the word triggered but like it's kind of triggering to even talk about this because and now I'm kind of like taking my power back and I'm using my voice to work my shit out to combat that so that in the future especially in professional settings I'm not I don't look like a fool and like an idiot I guess I see things a certain way and then when I say it out loud people are like I don't get it and that's hard to that's hard to
Starting point is 00:39:59 go through at the time like when you're I was more insecure you know when I was younger going through this more insecure and more you know now I'd be like that's what I mean exactly like I would repeat what I said and say that is exactly what I mean I said what I said I would be more confident about it where before I'd be like I'd shut up and over time when you're around that you just stop talking and then that's not good you gotta it's a learning experience for sure when I would be in meetings I'm just like thinking of a time where I'd be in meetings and I'd have some like grandiose idea that made sense in my head and you know maybe a few other people would be nodding their heads in agreement but the person in charge would call me out and be like I don't get
Starting point is 00:40:39 at what do you mean and then make me feel stupid i'm not about i'm not about that shit and uh i guess this is like in my defense mechanism i'm like well i'll just get super fucking educated and make sense or and try to know everything so when someone wants to know more i can elaborate and give them a back backstory that might help them understand i don't know I'm insecure about being insecure shit I was going to read a vocab word then I'll end this
Starting point is 00:41:09 Andrew Aziz how to day trade for a living I'm just here for the vocab words to be honest like understanding the basics let's see here let's go to the glossary just like pull out a word simulator small cap stock short squeeze trade management
Starting point is 00:41:35 i don't know let's let's uh find one i just took a little breather i had a tmi my boobs are sweating because i have a turtleneck on and i felt a drip and then i looked in my uh legs are also sweating somehow in this fall weather hey I'm indoors okay it's hot I got double pane windows because I live in a airport zone so this bitch gets like a sauna sometimes I don't know it's the afternoon it's the hot time of day so see the thing is San Diego it's nice because at night it gets down the 50s but then during the day it's back up to 75 80 degrees so you get that coolness but then it's nice and hot okay let's read a vocab word um say short squeeze let's do short squeeze short squeeze occurs when the short
Starting point is 00:42:34 sellers panic and are scrambling to return their borrowed shares to their brokers their actions cause prices to increase quickly and dangerously you want to be you want to avoid being stuck short in a short squeeze what you do want to do is ride the squeeze when the price quickly reverses ride the wave bitch there you just learned the definition of short squeeze it's funny how when i was a little girl i'd watch my grandpa like he'd watch the stock market on the news all the time or whatever and you watch those channels and i never understood like you know the little things going across the bottom i'd always be confused to buy it and I wish when I was younger I asked more questions and I tried to like I just think
Starting point is 00:43:22 it should be common knowledge everyone should know about this and they don't teach it to you in school or make it sound like it should be a priority to start investing and to understand it maybe if you had this is a thing if you had a good example like if your parents were into it if you had family members that were involved like I mean yes my grandpa he is he's been in the stock market forever like he that's his thing but I wish I was more I don't know curious about it it's kind of my own fault you know it's your your life you get to control uh what you do and what you explore and I blame school I think it's easy to go oh they didn't teach it to us in school but when I I don't know I could have recognized earlier that it would be good to know I don't know
Starting point is 00:44:08 the 50s are not they're just I don't like to joke about is this not for me should I just quit podcasting I don't know I have a note here I did right last night um the first time I saw the moon through my grandma's telescope oh yeah I was on an Instagram account last night kind of half uh towards the end of the Rogan episode I was like half on Instagram half not but I was on an Instagram with a bunch of close-ups of the moon and all the planets through telescopes and I was like I had this I wrote a note about the first time I saw the moon through my grandma's telescope at her house I remember it was like confusing as fuck
Starting point is 00:44:55 I'm like wait a minute because you see pictures you know I probably was five it was really really little I'd seen pictures of the moon I'd see like the picture of you know Neil Armstrong and the American flag and the whole like man on the moon shit but when I actually saw it I got confused I'm like it didn't make sense to me and then I got my own telescope and I could never figure out how to do the tracking to find like the stars and the planets I was trying to look at and it was always annoying my mom just cleaned out her garage and she found I'm gonna take my macbook with me back home my old macbook to look into when I go home for the holidays I mean to bring it back but she found my telescope and she took it out one day this summer and when she was cleaning the
Starting point is 00:45:40 garage and she was like showing like she it has like it went like really slow trying to track the constellations but I don't know I got you know think when I think about it I feel like I was such a, I was so into my, my thing when I was little was, or my curiosities were astrology and geology. I was upset. I collected rocks. I love like little, I had a, you know, an obsession with getting those polished rocks, like the gift store places and going to the beach and collecting all that shit, and my grandma took me to a class, like, a college class that I could sit in on to learn about geology, and I don't know, it's weird, but it's, I'm, like, re-exploring things now that used to make me curious, which sucks, and, like, well, I'm really, I'm, like, re-visiting
Starting point is 00:46:40 stuff that I used to love, and I'm, it's weird how you, like, go in and out of it, but that's life, you know what I mean and I was on that Instagram last night and I was just like as an adult and then I'm watching this Alex Jones shit and yeah I was definitely uh high as fuck I was just getting in my head about whoa like I I'm older and wiser and this makes no sense I'm like these planets these planets just hovering out there what's going on I saw the there's a picture on Instagram of Saturn and I'm like those are asteroids I'm pretty sure yeah asteroid belt going around Saturn just chilling out there freaks me out I'm so cool I talk about outer space Saturn rings I'm googling don't make fun of my iPhone 7 go to YouTube to watch me in my fucking turtleneck today
Starting point is 00:47:34 it's just trippy I guess something's going on yeah it's asteroid belt but it's weird how it's like they're just always there I don't know dude I think it's a simulation I don't know what to make of this and then I saw pictures or close-up on that same account of an eyeball and I'm like this looks like a black hole this literally looks like the universe if you zoom in on someone's eyeball it's like so like astrological what the fuck's the word the it's so space-like and creepy and there's a lot of things in nature that look like other things if that makes sense uh what's a good example like a grapefruit and a vagina you know uh or I don't know there's if that makes like there's a lot of like fish I don't know am I getting too deep it's the afternoon what am I
Starting point is 00:48:30 doing I usually have my afternoon slump right now but maybe it's the caffeine I don't know it's always, no, no, Jacqueline, no, no, no, honey. It's always the caffeine. Blame it on the juice. Got me feeling loose. Blame it on the drone. Got me in the zone. Blame it on the alcohol. Blame, dude, Jamie Foxx. Did he just lose his sister? I think he did. Jamie Foxx. I don't know why I'm looking this up. Yeah, she, he just, I just remembered. I saw a headline page six he lost his sister she was 36 damn maybe i'll make that the song of the day blame it on the juice got me feeling this blame it on the caffeine how are you guys doing wednesday it's kind of chill today
Starting point is 00:49:27 blame it featuring t-pain let's get into this let me just give you a little uh we got an ad it's funny how my algorithm knows exactly exactly which almond milk I buy I always get this ad there it is i love old songs when that come out 2009 yeah i always say that oh six through 2011 where it was like my favorite era so that's when i was happy in middle school and high school no i'm kidding like that's when i was i don't know with my friends staying up all night like i pulled so many all-nighters in middle school my mom always she would get so pissed off at me i would stay up
Starting point is 00:50:26 until 6 a.m. and then that would be like if she picked me up on a Saturday morning and those would be the days where we'd have to pick up sticks in the yard and do all these hard chores what's another terrible chore we had to do let me think like what was around the house dishes if you guys I'm sure someone out there with siblings can relate to this it was always a fight between who was going to dry the or wait who was going to load it or who was going to unload it that was the biggest like as kids that was the fight we had the most often and I couldn't I feel like I what did I prefer I think I enjoyed doing the dishes more than putting them away to be honest even I feel like that's backwards I always like folding laundry because then I'd
Starting point is 00:51:13 sit and watch movies while he did it watch like Star Wars or I'd watch like Disney Channel movies like the lizzie mcguire movie or some shit and then what else i'm trying to think of like really bullshit chores so anyways i'd stay up all night with my friends until six that was the thing uh calling boys i remember i talked to it was like the first time i talked to a boy we talked until he turned out to be like one of my best friends but we talked until from like midnight to six like we kept calling each other like the like I remember we'd hang up and then literally the entire night just being stupid I don't even know and these this is when I had I think I was on my phone my friends like LG chocolate phone like we didn't
Starting point is 00:52:01 have what did I have I had like an LG Envy did I even have a phone at that point I don't know I had a Voyager. That was the rebuttal to the iPhone. Do you guys remember that? Verizon came out with a phone that was like, it's a touchscreen just like the iPhone, but it also opens and has a keyboard. And it was like going to be the craziest, coolest thing ever to me. And then I realized the iPhone is superior by far. It's like not even a competition. But hey, I had buttons and people with iPhones didn't. They had one. I still got it. You know what? I think I'm still holding on to that let's talk about i need to tell my therapist this i still got a button on my phone i've got the iphone 7 and i'm still holding on to that button you know what i mean everyone's doing
Starting point is 00:52:46 excuse me face id can't relate i'm not about that shit i'm not about that face id shit i want to click a home button bitch ah getting angsty anyways i'm trying to think of chores let's end with a chore i could tell you i mean we had to feed animals we had to fucking do dishes and laundry all the time. I like vacuuming. We had a Dyson. We finally upgraded and got a Dyson. It was like, this is fun. This is fun. Dysons are fun. That big yellow one. If you guys know which Dyson I'm talking about. Dude, shout out Dyson air blades. They're ahead of their time. Like that hand dryer is so fun. I am obsessed. Like it's always at an airport. I mean, I feel like a lot of places have them, but just like putting my hands back and
Starting point is 00:53:33 forth going up and down a Dyson air blade really makes me feel like I'm living in the future like yes I'm doing it I'm like it's 2020 this makes sense this looks modern this looks like you know what I feel good about life doing this because all those bullshit ones you gotta hit it's like it's like these stupid old they're always at like a YMCA or they're still in like your shitty gyms I don't know why I'm thinking they're they're in gas stations okay these are the lowest level of totem pole hand dryers why do we still like make those when we have a Dyson air dryer I got two Yorkies outside oh they're probably brothers so cute I need I need an animal that's what this is I think I should end that end this on hey I'm
Starting point is 00:54:22 probably gonna go look at cats finish my work today finish my podcast probably gonna go look up kittens now I maybe you know what I could do a Yorkie I could do a Yorkie in here I just don't want a yipper I don't like yipper dogs I want a golden retriever I want a big dog I want something that I can go on a run with and I won't feel bad for it like whenever I see people with little dogs on a run I'm like fuck you this dog is suffering his lungs are gonna explode like or it's like whenever I'm on a hike, I'm like, this chihuahua is going to keel over any second. Jesus. I got a neighbor with a 93 year old chihuahua. I was, I'm just like, it's, it's so sad. Actually. I don't think it can see anyways. What a podcast episode 55 is out is over. I got my magic mouse
Starting point is 00:55:15 set up. I'm so excited. Starting point is 00:55:58 like a sophisticated adult i need a monitor that's the next thing i need to get dude life updates welcome back to my vlog i'm looking for a computer monitor low-key I want a gumdrop I want an iMac gumdrop I want to I want a pink one I want an iBook I want to get so I wish Apple would make the throw I think they should do a throwback line where the new iOS everything is installed but it looks old as shit because I just think they look cute you know me talking about this Dyson Airblade like it's the future you know it's this cool aerodynamic hand dryer fucker fucking thing like i'm into that but i want my computer to look old as shit i want it to be colorful i want to see all the that was such a big deal like boom boxes that
