Happy Halloween everyone! It's episode 58. Welcome back to the show.
Hi, guys. Happy Halloween. It's Jacqueline. I've got another Q&A for you tonight. Yeah,
tonight. I know. I'm podcasting on Halloween. Who's depressed? I mean, to be honest, I mentioned
this yesterday. My former self would have been really sad, like, oh, you know, I have
nothing to do tonight. But you know what? I'm living my dream. I'm podcasting. I feel
like I'm on Broadway, not to be a smartass, but I'm doing a nighttime show. Like, I'm
on Broadway I'm doing this seven days a week it's great okay you know what for Halloween I'm being a
podcast host for y'all I'm gonna answer some questions I don't really have any life updates
I basically worked all day cleaned you know it's Saturday what do you guys do on Saturday it's like
you know wake up drink some coffee clean the house get shit done um uh do I want to mention
what I ate for dinner and gross out the vegans yeah I'll do it you know what fuck it I just had
the best most simple dinner I ate some ground beef with salt and pepper grass-fed of course
it was so good I wasn't that hungry I was like I just need some protein something you know filling
and it hit the spot so I don't even know why again I'm like podcasting talking about ground
beef what the fuck happy Halloween I wish I could tell you guys I ate a bucket of candy but yo
I'm trying to get snatched right now I have no candy in the house I have nothing sweet in the
house I have some berries um but you know it's not it's not that kind of year for Jacqueline
it's not that kind of year I'm not trick-or-treating I'm not out with the people partying
look I have this confession to make I feel like how do I say this I I could have put effort in
this year gone to my contacts because I never get hit up I always have to hit people up you know
I'm never invited to the party I'm always the one inviting myself it's my life story I should you
know I could have scoped out something to do tonight if I really tried hard and and put myself
out there but I don't know I'm just not feeling it this year it's a weird thing to admit and I'm
I'm kind of embarrassed about that but whatever you know next year and I'm sure I'll be you know
half naked with a like a knife in my hand and like a fucking neck slit thing with blood all over my
face and shit looking cute um so yeah uh am I gonna get into the Q&A do I do I want to confess
more sins or more insecurities I had such a good day honestly I like cleaned I watched a bunch of
Halloween movies in the background while I worked um I don't know it's been like a really good day
it feels I like how the sun is setting earlier because it definitely feels like fall in California
finally and I guess tonight there's daylight savings so we're gonna slow 2020 down by an hour
who's excited we're literally slowing the year down by an hour tonight I'm pissed okay so that's
happening um let's just do the Q&A that's right that's what the title this uh fucking episode
says so I'm gonna do it okay first question did you see the new Borat movie no I have not
the only thing I've seen from the Borat movie is David Dobrik posting an Instagram photo of like
or a TikTok or something with him and Borat and I had no clue that was going to be there's another
movie coming out so that's all I've seen I've I didn't even see the first one all I know is he
wore that ridiculous swimsuit with like the I think it was lime green uh anyways did I say
lime like a like a nerd lime lime you know how oh man am I offending people right now let's do it
I feel like there's a, uh, the L pronunciation can get a little nerdy out there sometimes.
Like, like, like it, it's almost like it's British, but it's not, I don't know.
Do you guys know what I'm talking about? Rewind it and see if that sounded nerdy.
Um, anyways, to answer your question, no, I've not seen the new Borat movie, but
maybe I will. I don't know. I don't watch movies. You guys know that.
okay the next question might be the weirdest one I've ever gotten um okay it goes like this
what is the pouch in panties for what is the pouch in panties for
what is this question I mean your guess is as good as mine I mean you don't put anything in there
I feel like it's just like reinforcement for anything that comes out of your vagina
i don't know it's like a double layer that's an interesting question or something interesting
to think about because yeah there's like a opening but what's that for should i google
this shit let's see like what is what is the pouch what is how are you guys doing today what
are you dressed up as what is the pouch and panties for google it's not for decoration
or design feature that offers extra protection for an accidental crotch flash either according
to the list it's actually called a gusset and exists in your knickers panties for the sole
purpose of protecting your genitals what the hell i'm in my 20s learning what this is about
and i never thought of this before until someone asked this question
so there's some scientific information here about
it's genital it's genital protection it's a fucking chastity belt it's like the
lowest quality or like least effective chastity what even is okay i don't even know what i'm
talking about um
ew I don't want to read this to you guys you guys this is like TMI anyways I mean
I don't wear I don't wear a lot of underwear look I wrote a tweet today that was like
I can't count on one hand how many times I've worn jeans jeans this year
I went to I think like like there's the L again like yo I feel like okay in the beginning of the
year when I was working my sales job, I was wearing a lot of corporate clothes and like
skirts and black pants and you know what I mean? Blazers and shit. But I went on a few dates.
Did I wear jeans? I feel like I, the hangout dates were always yoga pants. So no. Um, I went to
dinner twice and I did wear black jeans. Of course I did. They're the only ones that fit me.
but yeah anyways I'm trying to talk about underwear I'm trying to relate this to your
question basically I realized that uh oh you guys all know this I go commando in my yoga pants I
don't wear underwear in yoga pants and um so yeah it's weird to like think about underwear right now
or panties because it's been a while in fact I had a pair on okay so I had sweatpants on just
like regular sweats and a thong on and I was like this is so uncomfortable I'm not used to it like
I have not is this TMI I don't care when you don't wear a thong for a while and all of a sudden you
put one on it's like oh fuck this is actually really uncomfortable I wasn't used to it so
anyways good question uh now we all know the pouch is for your is some it's protection it's
protection apparently um next question oh this is kind of interesting you mute letter I think this
was like who asked this do I know this person you mute you mute everyone who do you watch
I always talk about that shit um I'm really open about that how I mute like everyone except
about 10 people and then if I watch your story a lot of times I go search for people's profiles
if I want to watch their story you know what I mean because it keeps me I I'm on Instagram for
my job so the less distractions I have the better so I mute it down to like 10 people
I don't know like these are my it rotates I'm constantly changing it but I feel like the people
that uh off the top of my head like the people that I am constantly like motivated by and I like
watching their stories because they're because some people I like I like them as a person or
an influencer or whatever but their stories suck like they're always I don't know reposting
annoying shit or whatever and um but off the top of my head definitely Lauren from the Skinny
Confidential uh she's like the one influencer I know I talk about influencing all the time and
showing off products and shit but like I tolerate her because I don't know like she's not annoying
about it uh Andy Frisella 100% he does some amazing like pep talks um then I follow this
family they have two kids they're they live in Florida I've been following them since their first
kid was born and I've watched them grow up and they show what it's like they're like a normal
family I've watched them buy a house dogs grow a business it's really interesting how it's a
random family I discovered out in Florida and the dad posts food reviews his name is you can look
them up family it's family food dude anyways I've been following them forever because it's been
really interesting to watch what it's like to raise a family and like it's their I don't know
because a lot of other people do it in a glamorous way and they have a lot of money and they're
you know what I mean with like bloggers and being a like a family blogger it's it looks really for
me like it doesn't remind me of how I grew up because this family's a lot you know they're
just normal and so I like seeing the behind the scenes and it's it's fun to watch oh Whitney
Cummings, her story's always lit, she's always doing some wacky shit with her dogs, um, Bert
Kreischer, I like his stories, always, because he does a lot, like, these are people that have
stories all day long, and they're entertaining, Bert's always in a swimming pool, he's always
doing funny shit, um, I watch, oh, Annie Lawless, I found her, she's a, I think she lives in La Jolla
here in San Diego, and she's a entrepreneur, she has her own makeup company, I think it's, like,
cruelty-free vegan makeup company here, but I, she just had a baby, and I, I, I discovered her a couple
months ago, and I really like following her, she's really, um, she's just so sweet, and I like, I like
how she, um, like, her posts and stuff. Oh, I follow this blogger, no, not really a blogger, she's, like,
an it girl in Paris, her name's Camille, um, she's amazing, just for, I, I like seeing how Europeans
live their lives and she's Parisian. And it's, it's just cool to see like, what's, what's that
like? You know what I mean? Um, who else? Mike Chandler, you know, he peps me up. He's always
working out, kicking ass. I like watching his like kids and stuff. I think he just has one kid,
but anyways, it's kind of like who I watch. It rotates, but for sure, like Andy, Lauren,
that family with two kids, Whitney Cummings, I feel like I might be forgetting people, but,
um it helps just tip of the day mute everyone except like 10 people and it'll change your life
I don't know and be specific about who you choose because I pick these people for different reasons
you know and um yeah so uh next question how wait not how best way best way to approach a girl
at a bar ooh best way to approach a girl at bar honestly just like be straight up
like come over to me and be like hey I think you're gorgeous like what's up that literally
be straightforward um I feel like whenever that happens to me if I there's two things that
happens if a guy is super straight up like hey just comes up and talks and compliments me
because I don't like the pick-up line shit, like, the, you know, the cliche stuff, I don't,
it doesn't work on me, but if you're honest and straightforward, I feel like I either
think, like, I vibe with you, and I'm, like, interested, but if I'm not interested, I'm too
nice, and you're probably gonna get let on and think I am into you, because I'm, like, hi, I'm
super social and smiley, and, like, you know what I mean, and then I'll get rid of you after a second
or two you know what I mean like I'll eventually like you know move on um but if you come in and
shoot your shot like that I feel like that's the best way to approach a girl just send it just
fucking send it tell her how you feel um or like I don't know go listen to Call Her Daddy and find
out how to approach a girl I feel like they've done so many episodes talking about that um but
in my experience I like it when someone just says what's up because I'm super open to conversation
and new people and everything so I'm not going to get weird about it I know what you're doing
and um I kind of do it too like I don't know it depends just depends um
what else what's another question oh my mom asked me this one your favorite Halloween candy
obviously Reese's peanut butter cups duh if you're if that's not your favorite candy um I just don't
understand it's just it's superior to everything else I mean there's I did a little actually let
me look at my quiz I did today on Instagram stories I said best Halloween candy and everyone
got it right everyone said Reese's like 99% of everyone did I had the options Twix Snickers
Reese's or Kit Kat and like 90 people said Reese's um the worst one I also did a poll
the worst one was Necco wafers most people thought Necco's were disgusting those are like chalk those
are straight up chalk you paint you're like when you're a kid on this like paint and chalk on the
sidewalk or whatever drawing shit oh my gosh remember drawing like uh what's it called
hopscotch. Oh, those were the fucking days. But, um, yeah, most people agreed. Necco wafers are
disgusting. I even made a video. Oh my gosh. Let me see if I can play it. I re I did a little video
a couple of years ago on the beach and I was like, I'd take a bullet for Reese's peanut butter cup.
I got really dramatic about it. Let me see if I can find it. I think it's still posted. Okay.
listen. So I'm on a beach run and I'm listening to podcasts where they're talking about Halloween
candy. And it got me reflecting on how much I would take a bullet for a Reese's peanut butter
cup. Now, if you don't agree that the Reese's peanut butter cup is the king of all candy,
I want you to find a chair, get comfortable, and reflect on what's wrong with you.
Wow.
Who do I think I am?
Talk about being a smart ass.
Find a chair and reflect on what's wrong with you.
Dude, it's me telling everyone, hey, I was just listening to a podcast.
I'm always listening to a podcast.
What's new?
But yeah, mom, to answer your question, it's racist.
Duh.
Duh.
Do I sound ditzy today? What's up? It's because it's, look, I'm on, the 50s are not it. The 50th,
50 through 59. What am I saying? We've decided, I've decided this week, this is not my prime.
This week kind of sucks. I'm doing this all cattywampus at night and I thought it'd be fun
to do it at night, but I'm realizing that it's, it's not as lit as I think it could be. I think
I should have done like a drunk Q&A tonight Jacqueline it's Halloween you got a Q&A to do
you could have put on a costume and like done a drunk Q&A but I don't know I'm not feeling like
it next question when will you have a P.O. box um I've been saying next year but I also feel like
that's too soon I had I had one set up month one uh and I I stopped I was like no this is like a
little bit soon and I don't know that's but people say I had someone hit me up they're like I want
to send you stuff from I think Saudi Arabia and I was like oh shit okay um but I'm feeling like
it's gonna come next year you know what I mean one day at a time I gotta like get this year
finished oh my god we got an election on tuesday like survive that fucking get to the other side
of this year and then 2021 you guys can shower me with presents send me shit to the p.o box and i
think i'm gonna do a p.o box unopening kind of episode on youtube which would be fun next question
um best or not best guest be a guest they have to like write this short on in the instagram
question thing because you can't write like a whole thing so they were like be a guest on any
show number one person you want interview okay so i get what they mean so if i could be a guest
on anyone's show 100% Joe Rogan obviously it's the ultimate show to be a guest on so that's where
I'd want to you know shoot the shit hang out if I could go on anyone's podcast he'd be it
that's not obvious um who would I want to interview my number one person
okay I was thinking about this I feel like I want to interview a lot of guys and get their
perspective about like to help girls and shit like I love when guys talk about like I have a
love-hate because sometimes it's really like um annoying and I'm like uh it's just making me more
more insecure to hear about all the shit you think about girls but sometimes I'm like it's actually
really helpful to hear it from the horse's mouth so I think I'm gonna do like interview my guy
friends first I don't know like I'll rotate obviously but I I think it'd be fun to hear
what they have to say about like girls and dating and what they're looking for what they like what
they don't like selfishly I want to know just like what what is it you know what I mean
anyways so but if I could have one person or like what's the question
who would I want to interview oh my god there's so many people I can't even I could go on for
10 minutes right now honestly I want to interview the Kylie Jenners of the world the top people who
seem unreachable and so out of my league like those are the people I'm curious the most about
because I've always said this I feel like the top celebrity whatever you want mogul people
are part of a group alive right now they get to experience something so unique to everyone else
because everyone knows their name well not everyone obviously but like they're ran down
in the grocery store there's paparazzi taking their picture they have all this money they have
all this um freedom to do whatever they want and I think that is so I've always been intrigued by it
and kind of like interested in it if that makes sense just I want to be a fly on a wall around
that and you know I've been around celebrity before and stuff and it's never I've always
been unfazed I've said this so many times like people are people to me I'm uh I don't know I
don't I would never take a picture with someone ever like get like do that thing or ask for an
autograph never like that's I would never do that or think to do it um my goal is just to connect
with people and and try to make a friend out of it you know what I mean if if anything if I really
like someone if I'm interested in talking to them it's like how do I make this how do I get a you
know a follow-up conversation or a hangout sesh so I don't know um I'll say this though there's
something about interviewing people that are the opposite of what I just described you know what I
mean the homeless person down the street the weird kids from my hometown you know what I mean like I
would love to talk to just weird ass people and interview them I don't know and because a lot of
people get rotated in the system in the podcast machine where they're on so many interviews you've
heard them so many times but I don't know what if I made homeless people famous or like put them on
a show and that would be so interesting I'm sure that exists like hearing about someone's life
story their dream to make it as an actor in LA and then now they're a homeless person that's so
common you know I could tell people's or help people talk about their life story it's crazy
to me how and that's sort of why I'm realizing how much I'm glad I'm doing a podcast it's because
I feel like everyone has a life story that no one knows about like only you know your life
and your past and you talk about it amongst your friends and family and stuff but like
to put it out in the public eye and like public ears it's crazy it's kind of a weird
new thing that I'm embracing because it's being documented and it can be celebrated for
the rest of time like my life is being taught I'm talking about it and it feels it's obviously
therapeutic and it's um you know I know sort of self-indulgent or whatever but it kind of feels
cool to document and and remember things about my life and share it with you guys so anyways um
I don't know great question though interviews are coming just give me one day at a time okay
just trying to make it past this election on Tuesday buckle up buckle the fuck up guys I'm
hearing some I mean I saw some fucking photos of um I've got people screaming outside happy
halloween all right uh i saw these pictures of la how they're boarding up the stores and stuff
i'm like holy shit holy shit like i'm nervous a little bit i feel like that's gonna promote
violence in a way like if you see well i don't know if the windows are exposed
it's probably better to board up the shit than leave it and get it all shattered again after
the other protests and shit. Anyways, Saturday night podcasting. Next question. Worst habit.
What's your worst habit? Oh shit. I feel like doubting myself is a bad habit. I've talked about
before how I have that imposter syndrome stuff where I just don't believe in myself enough
where mentally I think I have that sauce I got what it takes mentally I'm pumped up about myself
and my life and my career but when it comes to starting something and getting myself to
consistently do it I get paralyzed and I don't because I overthink I don't believe in myself
full of doubt um and that's what's great about showing up every day doing a podcast is I'm
proving myself wrong I'm like fuck you Jacqueline for all those years of doubting yourself uh fuck
you I love you really but it's like look this is what you're capable of you have what it takes you
can do this people do want to listen to you and you're not crazy for doing this um you know it's
it's your path like I'm thoroughly passionate about it and I enjoy doing this so um that's
what life's all about like figuring out what you suck at and trying to overcome it and I
pretty much spent the first half of my 20s having this realization about myself or coming to this
sterilization. My other worst habits though, like dude, you guys all know I hate cleaning my shower
tiles. Okay. Y'all know hidden. I suck at getting those shower tiles clean on a regular basis. Now
I'll tell you this today. I sacrificed my organic sponge. What's it called? Like scrubber body scrub
thing. I sacrificed it. It was on its last legs, but I took that bitch. I put a bunch of soap on
it. Uh, and while I was showering, I scrubbed the tiles and it was a, it's like the pre deep clean
I'm about to do probably tomorrow, probably not tomorrow, probably in a week. But I got,
I got it clean, half ass clean today. That's a bad habit. You know what I mean? I like
clean everything but my shower tiles. I can't stand doing that. Um, last question. I think
I'm going to just finish with this one. You guys don't ask me a ton of questions. Like
I'm gonna be honest about that I feel like I don't know I don't care I don't give a shit
sometimes I'm like embarrassed I'm like wait is this like not enough questions or like
people don't really give a fuck about asking questions for a Q&A you know what I mean
sometimes you guys are like I'll get a full list where I'm like shit I have to cut some of these
out but tonight it's like you guys are but you know what I posted on Friday night so of course
like no one's gonna look they don't really see it anyways this episode kind of sucks the 50s suck
but we're just powering through we're gonna talk about what's the last question um
uh where is it i lost it i kind of flip-flopped around um oh what is your excuse me what is your
deepest fear um shit I've said this before but obviously losing a family member tragically
or just in general you know that's a little bit terrifying not a little bit it is terrifying
it's probably the worst call you could ever get the worst like anything in life is better
than having to face a family member dying. Um, I'd lose a, I'd lose both my legs, both my arms
to keep a family member. You know what I mean? Um, in fact, I was crying a couple of nights ago.
I came across a picture of my great grandma who had passed away. She's 103 a couple of years ago
now. I think it's been a couple of years, but before I moved to San Diego, I was crying because
I don't think I fully processed her death. And I was, um, realizing that when I made the journey
out to San Diego, you know, I packed up my car and moved out here by myself. I was checking in
with the elderly people in my life, you know, my family I never see to say bye before I left.
Right. And she was one of the people that, um, I didn't get to say goodbye to. In fact, I showed
up, this is what I kind of have a, I have guilt about. I showed up at her retirement home and she
was doing great at this time. This is about a year or two before she died. And, um, I think she was
out doing an activity with her group or whatever, and she wasn't in her, in her apartment. And so
I just, I had to leave. I chose to, instead of waiting around, I chose to leave and try to reach
her another or see her another time before I left but then I left like a day later you know
what I mean it didn't happen and I moved to San Diego never saw her again so I always said though
she every time I saw her before she died I it was always a wonderful hello haven't seen you
in forever how are you doing she was so like she knew who I was we always had really just fun
chit chat conversations at holiday parties and stuff and yeah I miss her a lot but I was crying
because I was realizing like shit when you're in your 20s and people you know your elderly people
and people in your life start going away it's weird I haven't that's what I'm kind of not to
get deep but I'm like trying to accelerate some shit in my life right now because I want to lock
down my family and you know a future like husband and kids in that whole situation I want to surround
myself with that because I think I don't want to be alone forever I feel like no everyone has that
fear like they they have that you know they don't want to die alone or whatever but I'm not afraid
of that I just think I need to start getting my accelerating some shit and um putting myself out
there instead of being a little recluse you know a little hermit crab doing my podcast every day
not having a life but I'm crawling out I'm crawling out this year's been crazy but anyways
I don't know that was the tangent but uh I feel like my other fear though is um to add to that is
not living my dreams being 60 and looking back and going what the fuck you know what I mean like
I wanted to be a podcast host and I never did it and that's why I could cry like I am so happy
I'm doing this right now because this is my dream this is what I want to do and I'm not going to
make excuses and justify doing other things because it's more rational or it pays more money
or whatever it's more socially acceptable or you know all the all the things because
this makes me happy nothing else like I've done so much I've worked my whole life I've done
tons of shit but I've never been this fulfilled and happy doing something so
anyways I feel like that's my biggest regret or like my biggest fear is having regret
there's a quote I think Mike from Impulsive said it or who was I listening to who said this I think
it was impulsive the quotes this most men most men live lives of quiet there's the l again
lives most men live lives of quiet desperation where they're working their job they're you know
an accountant they're a construction worker they're i don't know i'm just thinking of
kind of a low level on the totem pole job a plumber they live a life of quiet desperation
Now we need those people. And I believe some people are willing to compromise, you know, a lifestyle plumbing toilets for, you know, the paycheck and whatever. Like they've, they've, I hate to use the word settled, but they've settled. They've, you know, accepted that this is their, the best they can do with their skills and what they've been given.
And, but the whole quote about most men live lives in quiet desperation, it's reminding me of a family member who I think has that so hardcore and is now into their, you know, you know, last quarter of their life and probably looking back going, fuck, you know what I mean?
And that's sad. And I think I want to be the person who has a dream and does it for the rest
of their life or however long until they're not happy doing it anymore. And then they do the next
thing that makes them happy. That to me is a secret of life or not even a secret. It's the
obvious thing, but I don't think it happens for everyone. And I just am kind of pinching myself
now my 20s look going holy shit this is that feeling this is when you you really go after
what you want Jacqueline like this is the time because look I was thinking about it and I'm
comparing this to you know my passion finding you know podcasting and doing this to relationships
like now I know what it feels like to really fall in love like I felt like when as soon as I turned
on this microphone and did this for the first time I was like oh fuck this is it I'm lit up
this is what I want to feel when I'm when I'm in a relationship you know what I mean there's
there's zero doubt I have zero doubt about doing a podcast seven days a week
as crazy as that sounds I have zero doubt about uh my pursuit of doing this and
you know in a relationship it's like you shouldn't ever have those
just you shouldn't make justifications and as soon as you're doing that it's like get out
it should be effortless you know what I mean for the most part shouldn't be this you're trying to
mold and fit in and they're trying to do the same thing to you you know it's a it's a clusterfuck
most relationships are like that um so and I've done that in the past I've changed myself to
appeal to someone else and it's stupid when I think about it I'm like what was I doing
what was I doing I was in I think it's insecurity I think it's not being um like self-aware
but now I know how boss and badass it is to be yourself 100% and not live a life according to
how other people think of you it's like another secret of happiness or whatever I'm actually
putting that to work I'm fully embracing myself and this podcast has been so like somber or
whatever the fuck it's been so like deep and I don't know why but yo it's nighttime it's nighttime
it's hallows it's Halloween okay I should be telling ghost stories right now but you know
I'm gonna drink I'm gonna drink some water collect my thoughts I could get I could get
funny and spooky right now. I could tell some spooky stories. Actually, I have a spooky story.
I'm going to change the subject. You guys just heard about my fears, regrets,
goals, dreams, all that shit. We learned about panties. We learned about panties today.
uh all kinds of shit anyways uh I got a story so when I was uh I think in around sixth grade
I'd say I remember my I think we had our friends my sister brother and I was like fourth fifth and
sixth grade age group okay that's that's where we were at and I think we had our two friends over
they lived like 30 minutes north we grew up with them uh christine and connor and i think they were
over and my brother who was i with we basically pulled a prank and took a volleyball we put it
through this scarf thing and banged it against the side of the house and it was so dramatic and
so scary to the point my mom was thinking someone was breaking in the house and it was like a full
on oh fuck like gonna call the police moment you know what i mean and we fully scared i think it
was my excuse me my sister me and christine were outside doing it and my brother and his friend
were inside his room and we were banging on their uh the side of the house excuse me the side of
the house jesus christ burping what the hell um it's all that beef it's all that fucking
um not ladylike embarrassed gross ew uh should be out in a laundry outfit tonight with a spray
tan and high heels and I'm fucking burping because I had to go and be for dinner but you know what
episode 58 fuck fucking doing this shit 58 days in a row fuck it living my dream let's can't stop
saying that is anyone annoyed about me saying that I don't care you're listening uh yeah so
anyways I thought I was like what's the scariest story I can remember from childhood but I feel
like that was a dramatic evening because yeah we had this purple scarf that like opened up inside
and we put a volleyball through it tied a knot around it and just banged it so hard against the
side of the house it was a blustery night you know up in uh Washington where I grew up the
wind would blow so hard at night and it would rain and it was scary and you know there's lightning
and thunder and shit and it was that type of night um so yeah what other spooky stories could
I tell I got a lot I feel like um a couple years ago I was home alone uh living with someone at
the time and he was traveling or whatever the fuck and there was lightning and thunder here
in San Diego and I have never experienced it before and I was freaking the fuck out a little
bit because I don't like I don't like lightning and thunder I get really scared about it I'm a
I'm a little I'm I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to that shit and I need I need a thunder buddy
it's like the what is the movie Ted with Mark Wahlberg yeah I think that's the movie but anyways
I'm like home alone scared it's so loud so close to our house that I heard a thunder and then
lightning was like wait how does it work the lightning flashes then you count and then however
many seconds, 1,000 to 1,000. And then the thunder is how far, how many miles away it is. I think
something like that. That's what I always would do when I was a kid. I try to figure out how close
is the lightning bolt to the house? How dangerous is this moment I'm in? But anyways, I was home
alone and lightning struck a car right outside. It was so loud. It sounded like a bomb went off
and I heard like like glass shatter and then I like heard a car alarm alarm there's the L again
what's going on with the L's tonight um car alarm go off immediately after and I went outside there
was like a fucking hit a car next to me or next to our house and that was scary um but yeah I feel
obligated to tell spooky stories that's not even spooky but dude I need to pull something out of
my ass right now what is a spooky story I could tell ghost stories I don't know I'm convinced my
house is haunted oh my gosh my mom by the way I'm ratting her out right now I have a baby cousin who
is I think she's like almost two now she's so cute um but she apparently picked out according
to my mom they were in home depot or something they picked out or she picked out this skeleton
couple like full-sized skeleton couple dressed in the corpse bride outfit the whole thing and
they talk and it lights up they move and i think here let me play the video my mom so i i say my
childhood house is haunted because i'm pretty sure it is um because my great grandpa built it
and then we so many like we've i feel like all my family members have been in it like our family is
just like in like our the ghosts of our family are just in the house but um anyways my mom sent
me a video this morning of this and i'm like how can you have this in your house it is so scary
let me play it i think you can hear it
oh my god what have i done to myself
they're just wonderful do you think people know that's my mom
haunted okay so you get it she like put those in our living room and those better
fucking be gone when i come home for thanksgiving
um trying to think of spooky stories at her house though I don't know doors would slam you know
there would be a draft and be windy and the doors would slam that always scared me
or when I was home alone I would get really freaked out oh my gosh guys I know a spooky story
I came home alone from school I don't know where my sister and brother were they were probably at
their activities or whatever my sister's probably at cheer my brother's probably
at basketball practice or baseball or whatever and um I don't know like my parents weren't home
I just came home I was home alone basically after school and this would happen so much
the living room door would like move you know what I mean like it would do a little like
but not shut all the way uh it would freak me out or a door in the back of the hallway you guys have
no clue how my house is laid out but just imagine a hallway with a bunch of doors to bedrooms it's
an older home uh one of those doors would shut or something so this happened when I was home alone
it freaked me out so much I immediately like heart palpitations stomach dropped I grabbed a knife
out of the fucking kitchen it was probably I think it was like a freshman in high school
I grabbed a knife and I like ran out into the cornfield I ran out to the cornfield and hid
there, and I called my mom, I think, what was my phone at the time, I had, like, a, I think I had
the Voyager, the Voyager phone, Verizon, the one that, like, flipped open, had a keyboard, but was
also a touchscreen, and I was out in the cornfield with a knife, and freaked the fuck out, called her,
like, like, thinking I'm gonna die, someone is in the house, and next thing I know, here, a saw
go off and I'm like what the fuck I'm like running in the cornfield I'm fucking going nuts I'm like
about to run to the neighbors the farm next door and try to like tell them what's up but turns out
my dad was in the he was working on like he's doing some project outside construction type of
stuff at the pool and he was using the saw cutting wood and he wasn't even in the house at the time
but he had come home. I didn't even hear his car come home while I was in the cornfield. Like it
was this whole thing. And so that was probably the scaredest I've ever been. Other than getting
chased by a pack of dogs. I've told that story before. Fuck. I got chased by 13 dogs at one time.
Terrifying experience. Um, but as far as being creeped out and like haunted type of stuff,
that was probably nothing. You know what I mean? But, or there'd be like cats in the attic,
the cats from the farm would somehow get in our attic there's always cats from the farm chilling
at our house our house is like the vacation spot they all live in the barns at the farm next door
they all hate their lives they're like running around in cow shit and then they come to our
house you have like a pool got like you know a cute little backyard for them to hang out in
it's a it's a little vacation spot so they would get in the attic and would be freaky sometimes
because you'd be like what is up there and then you put it in your head that it's cat and um
anyways i'm winded down does this sound like a late night episode i feel like the energy levels
are just different this week i'm not very uh peppy like usual i don't know what it is is
is it the full moon tonight the sunset went crazy tonight though i'll tell you that um checking dms
it's weird how i don't have any fomo like usually i'd be like oh people are out partying having fun
and i'm not but i don't give i'm like chilling about it and i feel like it's really fakey to
say that like obviously jacqueline wanted people more fun to go out and be partying tonight and
you know dressing up like a slut but like yo i've been there and done that i i could still do it
year after year after year until i'm like 40 okay or like fucking 60 i i wanted i'll i'll be going
of Halloween parties for the rest of my life. And I definitely had a phase of partying, you know
what I mean? And doing that Halloween shit, but it's just not in the cards this year. And that's
it. That's just the way it is. It is what it is. Um, this is a growth moment for Jacqueline. I
mentioned earlier that I would have been so in my head, like, why don't I have friends? Why don't
I have anything to do tonight? Why don't I put myself out there more? You know, I go beat myself
up over not being out at a party tonight but um y'all are gonna observe me become the socialite
of San Diego over the next few years and just get fucking ready this is like the calm before the
storm it is what it is um it sounds like I judge myself about it because I'm mentioning it if I
didn't really care why would I even talk about it but like this is my audio diary and this is what
I would write dear diary it's it's currently Halloween and I am so content with the fact that
I'm not out getting shit-faced in a in a slutty outfit what did I discover my costume was yesterday
we did a quiz I was a dead house plant crazy um but like I don't know I think it'd be like a sexy
pirate this year if I had to pick out an outfit I'd do a sexy pirate I just feel like that would
my vibe this year. Um, cause of the boots, you know, the lace up boots and I don't know,
like the lace up front, like the puffy front thing. I don't know. Um, but this is what
I, this is where I'm at in life. You know what I mean? It's a, it's a proud moment.
What the fuck was episode 58 guys? What just happened? It blacked out a little bit. I don't
know what I talked about, but I don't know. I did it. It's the best I can do. I showed
up and I did it uh let's just say this about the 50s episodes I discovered that it's hard to be a
boss bitch at your job and your podcast hobby because I flip-flopped my schedule this week
and I basically kicked ass at work stuff and then put off my podcast to the evenings and I feel like
the quality has gone down and if I know hey I know you're supportive I know you like the show
you're into it but let's all be honest with ourselves right now this week kind of sucked

myself it it needs to stop i need to bite i need to nip this in the ass get my priority straight
