Hey guys, happy Sunday. It's episode 59. Welcome back to the show.
Hey guys, what's up? It's Jacqueline. Welcome back to the show.
happy Sunday happy first day of November who's as pissed off as I am that we just slowed the
year down by an hour and set our clocks back I'm pissed okay like that didn't need to happen this
year I think we could we could have skipped it because not only do I want to um fall asleep at
4 p.m. now I want to share a conspiracy theory with you guys related to this I was I have a
conspiracy theory that daylight savings is part of the global order to really reduce the population
because look this is what happens our immune system gets weakened when our circadian rhythms
are thrown off so I believe setting our clocks back and fucking around with the daylight savings
and time uh makes people sick and people die and you know the population reduces I don't know dude
I don't know I thought about this this morning I shot out a little tweet like was that funny or was
that stupid I don't know okay first of all I don't know I don't even know the history of daylight
savings I don't know why we do it all I know is that I'm depressed I'm peak depression you know
what? 4.30 today? I was like, yep, it's going to be a hard winter. Hard winter. Not looking forward
to it. I don't know. Okay, so I need to let you guys know that it's nighttime. Okay, it's nighttime
again. I'm a nighttime podcaster now, I guess. I felt kind of sexy yesterday. I was like, it's kind
of a different vibe at night. I'm like, I don't know. How many candles are lit right now? I'm such
it like white girl okay I got one two three four five six one of my bathrooms seven eight
nine ten I have 12 candles lit right now okay it's this it's sexy time it's sexy time I'm
podcasting uh I've already mentioned conspiracy theories so I'm a nerdy sexy I don't fucking know
um today was great I bought my dream espresso machine my dream my dream machine my dream
espresso maker finally uh it's the Breville Barista Express and I am so excited to make
coffee tomorrow morning it pulls amazing shots it's like the probably the best espresso maker
or the most reliable one that you can have that that's barista level quality or like coffee shop
quality at home so anyways I'm already planning on going to my favorite coffee shop and buying
beans fresh roasted beans coming home and making my my first espresso shot with it and um yeah
today was great I found my espresso machine I don't know like I'm checking in right now as if
I'm talking to my mom like hi mom this is what happened today you know what I mean I
this is episode 59 right so I told you the 50s are kind of a shit show this whole week they
so whatever this is just another random episode uh tomorrow's Monday and I'll have my shit together
how about that that's my promise I can keep to you but uh if I call my mom right now I've been
like yo I got my espresso machine today I found my couch my dream couch I want finally found the
couch of my dreams uh which I want I'm not going to be getting till next like early next year
because it's going to take a while to ship and I don't know so anyways I feel like I'm just really
coming into my own. You know, I put my curtains up. I got my new espresso machine. It's been a
great week. Today was fun. I watched football, you know. Literally all I do on Sunday is over
caffeinate and lay on my back. That's it. I drank two. This is getting bad. Remember when I was
cutting back on caffeine while I'm overcompensating right now? I consumed two French presses today
again and I didn't do anything today you know I wasn't like needing energy okay I slept great
I got the extra hour you know what I mean I um I just jittered the fuck out watching football
on my back and I got all this inspo I was remembering oh there's an alarm uh I was
remembering random songs from the past like guys wait for this
yeah so uh I put together a playlist today while I was over caffeinated I had football on mute
you know what I mean listen to songs it was a weird day um what else can I tell you I don't
know my landlord showed up and it kind of gave me anxiety I was like why is she here and I think
there's someone moving in in the back of my unit please so I don't know I was getting anxiety like
is she gonna knock on my door and ask me to do something like can you flush the toilet two times
you got to check the pipes you know there there's always something random like that that they want
you to do in the ambush and uh not about it not on Sunday of course I would not answer the door but
I don't know um I feel like let me check in right now as a podcast host where I'm at with this show
uh because everything in life is pretty normal you know business as usual
had a great weekend got shit done worked here I am okay but as far as the podcast goes um
I thrive in the morning okay I thrive in the morning I feel like I don't like myself when I
wait till the end of the day I go oh this is you just going back to your procrastination
the thing you hate the most about yourself that you always put things off and I don't think this
is good for my mental health because this whole podcast is my audio diary okay it's my audio
reality show I'm telling you weird random details about my day-to-day it's like a vlog okay I'm just
talking to you in simple like there's not I'm not saying anything groundbreaking in fact did I write
something what did I write about what I'm doing here um just a sec basically I've said this so
many times my stream of consciousness never ends and as long as that's the case I'm gonna throw on
headset seven days a week and talk to you guys and yeah so let's cut to the chase I had a thought
yesterday and I was like brain exploded like okay I need to tell you what happened last night though
this is literally how oh my god Halloween was yesterday right okay so this is so me okay I
laid on my back with my 12 candles lit and my led lights around my tv but my whole room was
colorful and shit and I'm watching fucking out or not Alex Lex Friedman and Eric Weinstein
their latest podcast and I watch that until 1am and those guys are infinitely inventive when they
speak that's why I was so in the zone with it because everything they said was inventing a new
idea or asking a new question I was asking myself questions and then at one point I had it paused
and I went, holy shit, I had an epiphany. I had a flashback to March 2016 when all of a sudden
you'd scroll on social media and there was an algorithm controlling which posts you saw and
it wasn't coming in. It wasn't chronological anymore. And I wrote, I tweeted out that
the moment, because it was a moment in time that this happened, where that switched and the
Instagram algorithm replaced chronological posts, everything on the internet, nothing on the
internet has been the same. I wish I said that more eloquently, but you know what I mean? It's
the one moment I can pinpoint that changed everything. Everything revolved around
algorithms from then on out on YouTube, Twitter, whenever you Google shit. I even noticed, like,
I can't get in a rabbit hole on YouTube anymore. Everything has been censored and taken down. I
used to go on to like, like NASA videos that were not supposed to be on the internet. You know what
I mean? Like UFO stuff in outer space. And I go into rabbit holes about all this crazy UFO
extraterrestrial shit and I can't even find it anymore. And so everything changed after that
moment because no longer was it, sorry, I don't even know why the podcast is this tonight, but
look, this was on my mind. I'm sharing it with you. Okay. I'll go back to like what I had for
dinner or what I'm going to make for breakfast tomorrow. I'll get into something less deep,
but like, look, I think you guys, if you take yourselves back to that time, when you go to
Instagram, you go to any social media and everything came in real time, that felt like reality.
You know what I mean? It was like, you still see stuff posted. Oh, 25 minutes ago or 10 minutes
go you know what I mean it shows like how but then you'll get the four days ago or 24 hours
ago you know you'll get the random things and I feel like that fucks with our reality a little
bit it messes with my brain it's not it doesn't make sense doesn't seem logical and I just want
my real I tweeted it out I posted on Instagram like whatever I don't care I'm just I want to
share this thought and it was well received some people shot me a DM and they like talked to me
about that and I think it'd be helpful if we went back to that if we went back to chronological
posts and then it would make sense because let's say you follow 100 people you like eventually you
see all the posts and that I think that's healthy so you're not randomly seeing stuff that you
missed four days ago every day you just see the only shit that's been posted on that day
and I think that would help us stay off our phones more I think it would get us yeah like
a little bit of reality back you know if you know your friends out at a coffee shop and they take a
picture and then boom it's there in two seconds like that makes sense um so anyways I had that
thought last night and I was watching the fucking podcast that was how I spent my Halloween I was
like up until I was working and it's hard to work and pay attention to something like that so when
I was done I played it and I was so sucked in I wrote some stuff down um and something Eric
Weinstein said that I you know guys just just I just have to say this like I'm trying to share
the love with all the people I admire because and I realize you can go listen to their show but I
want to put you on to these cool people if you're not already listening to um Lex Friedman's podcast
or the portal Eric's podcast you know what I mean if I share what I'm learning from them maybe it'll
help you so that's where I'm at and I'm trying to get better at absorbing information and then
spitting it out because I think that helps me learn better so bear with me I feel like a dumb
fuck when I talk sometimes because I can't get the words out right but look I'm grown and learning
okay I'm kind of new at this intellectual stuff as far as like my brain is a curious monster that
thinks all day and has this endless stream of consciousness that constantly invents new ideas
and questions all day long but when it comes to verbalizing my thoughts it's there's a discrepancy
and I'm trying to narrow that gap and anyways um how nerdy did that sound Jesus okay so I really
liked what Eric said about the collective frustration we have regarding the two candidates
for president that we're going to elect on Tuesday, he said something amazing that
goes something along the lines of this. There's a huge amount of talent in the world that's not
sitting in the right seat. It seems like all the people we would want to go run for president
aren't. They have no interest in it at all. And I think that's where things hopefully change in
the future and we see all of our favorite intelligent podcast hosts and thought leaders
and human optimization experts and all these brainiacs out there and tech nerds or whoever
like leading the country because they represent what the people want they're creating companies
they're creating conversations around ideas that people that support people's needs and so I think
they'd be great representatives of the american people if they were somehow i don't know
incentivized or like if they all collectively were like let's do this let's all get together
let's let's do politics and let's make politics the sexy thing to do and the thing that's gonna
like change the world like we want to help change the future and change politics that's modern and
that makes the most sense according to um the new ways of the world because i think there's a lot of
old shit that sticks around for 50 years in politics that it needs to get there needs to be a
a detox you know what i mean i think it's time i do think it's time but i'm a little nervous of
how that's going to play out and the dramatics of it and the i don't know if there's violence
involved beforehand um hopefully not Eric talked a lot about meta-violence which I had to look up
it's not like physical violence it's like digital you know it's like this or it's this
I know it's different um something else he said that I wrote here is something along the lines of
the spectacle of old age holding down top positions of leadership needs to go down at some point
the graph is the graph of our destruction so he he described this graph basically what he means is
over time the people who affect the world the most these people in
leadership leadership positions um you know presidents emperors whatever you want to call
them i don't know what else are their kings queens what do we have in this world dictators
the age keeps going up you're it's the trend of the graph is showing that the age keeps going up
and it's he said at some point that needs to go down and the spectacle of looking at an elderly
person in their 80s pushing you know pushing it the spectacle of that and the I don't know the
regard or what's the word I don't want to find it right now dude this podcast is too deep um I think
we need to look at the younger crowd you know the and and turn to young people um i think that's
what he meant i i thought about that i was like that kind of makes sense it makes sense another
thing and i tweeted this i kind of like took it away from their conversation and then i'm going
to talk about nonsense because i don't like talking about deep shit uh is that it doesn't
make sense to get upset over this election on tuesday because this election itself doesn't
make sense and I think that's an important reminder is that this the people in the spots
like this whole thing doesn't make sense coronavirus this whole year the fact that
they couldn't really do their normal campaigning and everything's and the debates were weird and
you know what I mean everything is weird this year and so I don't know it's best probably for
everyone's psyche to go okay this is not worth getting upset over because this is not a normal
like situation it just sucks I think it's easy to get upset but like don't take it as seriously
as like if you had you know like what we did beforehand the years passed in your lifetime
All the other presidential elections that were formal, presidential, politically correct, less chaotic, less dramatic.
It wasn't like a reality show.
I think we learned over the last four years, and maybe we'll keep learning this lesson for the next four, that that needs to change.
that tone that the just the opinions being barfed out everywhere from newscasters and it's not
objective it's all okay why am I talking about this shit right now like guys I gotta cut myself
off cliff notes uh there's a lot of talent in the world people you would want to run for president
that aren't and that's frustrating and I think that hopefully in the future we I start seeing
my favorite people be in those spots but like I don't think nobody wants to do it that's what
sucks so it's like how could we over time is everything growth takes time like how could we
make it like okay so you know how the podcast host club like I just think of podcasters that's all I
know but there's obviously amazing entrepreneurs out there business people um military guys
women too i gotta include both uh you know what i mean like there's so many amazing people out
there and it's like what if i don't know how the tone gets changed or like how can we make people
feel like they're back in seventh grade and they want to run for office they want to be a middle
school president vice president secretary like they want to do that shit again how can we make
it like that again I don't know the answer I don't know the answer because nothing is cool
and nothing is cute about politics right now and I don't know maybe the Gen Z kids will figure it
out I feel like my generation's just like you know we've seen both sides we've seen the we've
seen elections that are you know more normal and then we've seen this chaos and we're confused
uh other cliff notes
the spectacle of old age and looking to elderly people for
to lead our countries and stuff like maybe that needs to change uh and it doesn't make sense to
get over get upset over this election because this election doesn't make sense all right
i have a note here um let me take a drink
before I say this to remind me of how pissed off I am right now about this
flat room temperature boring water
look I've had a sparkling water in over two weeks I haven't bought any ran out never bought any
and I feel like I'm deflating okay if I don't have a LaCroix by 3 p.m every day I feel like
I'm deflating okay I feel like uh gravity's pulling me down okay I need those little bubbles
in my body to feel okay and I was driving like I was driving today to get my espresso machine
and I don't know if there's something in my body it felt like the gravitational
pull was heavy while I was driving and not like guys I know this is kind of like funny jokes
Jacqueline but like I don't know did anyone else notice today felt weird the energy the ground is
pulling me closer to it I don't know what was happening but it felt weird and guys I I don't
know like there's a full moon last night does that have to do with gravity probably not has to do with
the ocean right it has to do with the the waves and the tides I don't even know I always thought
that was weird in school when I learned about the moon making the tides change like what the
fuck you know what I mean like how what what that doesn't make any sense to me like I like
concepts like that where when I hear it I immediately go oh I see why that makes sense
but that's one of those things where I feel like I'm gonna have to bust out a calculator
look at an equation learn a formula take a math test on this like how the moon changes the tides
you know it's deep it's not a simple concept like oh sunlight helps plants grow or whatever
in fact speaking of that I'm I'm heated sorry to rant right now and sound like a smart ass but
I don't know it's Sunday this is like episode 59 this is an odd number 59 is like the worst
number in the dictionary worst fucking number on the number list like 59 it sucks uh so whatever
just deal with it I'm feeling angsty but look I gotta talk about sunlight not affecting my plants
and not helping my little sprouts sprout it's been 15 days they were supposed to sprout uh three days
ago and they did not sprout and maybe they'll sprout in a couple days you know maybe there's a
delay uh but I'm pissed and you know currently the sun is setting earlier from here on out because of
us slowing down 2020 and setting our clocks back an hour so it's looking like I don't know it might
be a lost cause. You know, I might be staring at dirt for the next month. That's what's
depressing, guys. Like, I planted these little seedlings. They were supposed to sprout after
12 days. They haven't sprouted yet. Watch me see some sprouts in a few days and then
go home for a month and not be able to water them. And it's a lost cause. You know what
I mean? I should just give up now. I should just take those little pots of seeds and just
toss them in the garbage can and say a little prayer and give them a little funeral um but
maybe if i get them off to a good start if they can they can sustain themselves for a month with
no water i don't think that's possible i don't know um guys i'm just so excited i i feel like
i need to end this podcast because i'm so excited to go watch youtube videos about my new espresso
machine i'm so excited about it i i'm like researching the fuck out of how to make the
perfect espresso shots with it and I'm so excited my favorite thing ever and the reason why I like
going to coffee shops for coffee is because of espresso shots espresso shots are the shit and
it tastes like I get espresso over ice like no water I just like to drink I know this is cereal
what do people say this is cereal killer energy or sociopath type of shit where they just drink
straight espresso shots but listen I put espresso over ice maybe a little honey and cinnamon like
probably not just like just espresso shots of rice and I drink that and I love it it's like
drinking whiskey it's a slow burn you know what I mean it's not I'm not drinking a vanilla latte
where I'm taking gulps of it you know what I mean anyways I'm so excited I'm like on Amazon I'm
looking at accessories I'm like how am I gonna make my kitchen look cute with it I was all over
um there's like a hashtag for the Breville Barista Express with 20,000 pictures and like
in videos and shit like this is a thing I'm joining a barista club I feel like now with
this bitch and I'm so excited guys I feel like you guys know my passion is coffee I've been I've
been playing it down for a long time for like the last couple weeks because the whole entire first
half of this show so far like the first 30 episodes were I love coffee I'm addicted to
coffee let me take a sip of coffee let's do a coffee fact and I still love coffee I haven't
mentioned it though but like you guys this is like my this is my Christmas present to myself
and I'm so excited I'm even gonna buy these jars that jars these jars I had when I or used to use
at the coffee shop I worked at I'm gonna buy the exact jars exact like espresso shot cups
dude I'm such a savvy millennial I'm gonna save so much money making my own coffee every day
but I don't believe in that I think of things like hey dude buying coffee is not expensive
come up with a way where that doesn't seem expensive like figure out a way to make more
money so that doesn't seem expensive like that's my mindset I learned that from someone sort of
like a mentor to me at one point in my life where they always said I'm better at figuring out ways
to make more money than trying to find ways to save money and I've never forgot that it makes
so much sense like what can you do bust your ass I don't know like work a little harder or
switch up what you're doing um re i don't know pivot all these buzzwords like entrepreneurs say
you know what i mean figure out how to make more money do a side hustle i'm all about that side
hustle shit like i've been like selling you guys listen to the episode young entrepreneurship
i put out dude i feel like i'm gonna fucking fall asleep this is a bad episode listen i put out an
episode young entrepreneurship about all the little uh I guess businesses with air quotes I
had as a little kid and I don't know I've kind of always had some shit on the side like my big thing
is Poshmark I've stopped it I was doing it earlier this year and then I stopped because I got rid of
a bunch of clothes I was just like I used to store when I lived in college I've been selling clothes
out of my closet since college and I used to have a separate closet for all these extra clothes
that I would sell online and they have stayed with me I moved to San Diego with these clothes
there's always like there's always been garbage bags like these random garbage bags when I move
of clothes I'm specifically selling I would never go give them off to the goodwill or like thrift
stores or whatever to donate I would always keep them to sell and I finally this year when I moved
to my apartment I was like I think I just need to let go of the past you know Poshmark does it's
like a it doesn't I don't make that much money from it it's not like but I love the process of
you know printing out the label and putting the package together and putting a little thank you
note in there and it's kind of a fun thing to do you know what I mean I love doing that I like
playing store I like feeling like a merchant or whatever is that the word cashier I don't know
dude again I need to fall asleep I should fall asleep at any point I might fall asleep at any
point so anyways um I'm all about that figure it out you know figure it the fuck out I keep saying
adulthood knocked on my door this year and it's like Jacqueline use your talents do something
with your talents use like the fucking reason I am so content with showing up on episode 59 being
like, you know what? Fuck it. It was kind of shitty, but I'm having the time of my life right
now. You know, I'm, I'm embracing the fact that it's going to suck some days. I'm so content with
this because I feel like this is what I'm called to do. This is what I'm, I'm using my voice.
It's my best asset, you know, for whatever fucking reason I can talk forever and constantly invent
shit in my head um I'm doing something I'm doing something productive with it and so regardless of
how the episode turns out and how much I complain about myself throughout it I'm gonna post it and
I'm embracing that and I'm gonna grow and I'm gonna learn and I feel like I'm figuring it out
I don't know it's it's tough because I think our whole lives were
we're like ashamed of the parts of ourselves that are the most unique and the most us and then we
downplay them and I think a lot of people out there can shine if if they just like let it go
just surrendered I think that word's a beautiful word just surrender yourself be like fuck it I am
who I am I'm gonna do this I don't care what anyone says and you at the beginning of a new
endeavor you kind of have to do that that's what I'm learning I know I might come across crazy
ridiculous psycho all the things my ex-boyfriends used to call me okay you know what's new I'm used
to it I'm up for it I'm up for that I'm I'm getting my skin in the game contributing my voice
to and my life story and my two cents about society to society I'm giving up
my thoughts to the world and it's cool I think there's gonna be an interesting
timeline with this you know when things play out with interviews and growth and I I think of this
you know I'm a fucking shrewd businesswoman okay I've worked in the corporate world I understand
how a business works okay patreon.com slash tjms if you want to support this show
you can please uh stick over to youtube and subscribe to watch the show guys i'm just
plugging this right now because it kind of made sense when i just said i'm a fucking
true business woman but look i understand that this this might grow someday it might change and
i don't have any expectations or i'm not gonna get let down because as dumb as this might sound
just getting one dm from someone who listened and got so i don't know emotional or opened up
to themselves about something they were dealing with from listening to me and like they and they
shared that with me like anything like that just from one person makes it seem so worth it because
i'll do this every day for myself because this is my fucking self-therapy audio diary shit okay i'm
I don't know this isn't a common thing where someone or to my knowledge I know there's a
hundred million podcasts out there but for the most part I feel like people don't show up every
day and check in and say hi like hey welcome back to my vlog you know it's like hey welcome back to
the show it's me on a Sunday night talking about life you know um so anyways I don't even know
what I I feel like I lost my train of thought there and I'm not gonna try to get it back
dude i got some dms dude shout out the seahawks the seahawks shout out dk muttcalf
fucking career moment tonight how many catches did he have was it 12 let me see
um slide in if you're uh if you're interested i'd happily respond
um yeah here's the stats 12 receptions 161 receiving yards
had a career best day today that was a great game I was a little nervous because I watched
I watched the 49ers game the last games they played and I don't know like they've got some
their defense is usually solid and I don't know ours sucks and I was just like ah I don't know
anything about football I just said a few things I'm not super secure with what I just said but
But, hey, I said it.
Russell Wilson is getting some steaks tonight to celebrate the win.
How beautiful.
Dude, I love sports.
I love collective energy that's, like, positive and fun and badass.
like there's nothing more American or more hypey to be around than a stadium full of football fans
at a football game. Cause we're all reminiscing on the glory days when we used to do that shit
in college and now we're adults and we're watching pro football and it's cool. I'll admit it. I love
it. I'm, I'm, I'm down for it. I don't, as a girl, I like, I think there's some pockets of the world
where that's not part of your like I don't know my family we're my I have a brother who played
football I have you know my family always watched it it was part of growing up and I think there's
some pockets of the world where it's like your parents were like a newspaper writer and a you're
a music teacher and like you they had no fucking interest in football and then you grew up and you
had you didn't you never learned about it and you don't know how it works you know there's some
there's a ton of people out there like that but for the most part like it's the most I don't know
fun shit to watch and be a part of and I love the Twitter dramatics after games and dude
fucking what happened to the Patriots four four losses in a row um again could fall asleep any
second I might lay down do you guys don't know this I'm on my couch okay I'm on my couch this
couch I'm just getting comfortable right now okay I'm just sitting here thinking or I'm laying here
now thinking how weird this is like 2020 okay it's November 1st I was looking back at my highlights
today because I do a highlight for each month I don't know like fucking whatever I do that
and I feel like it's been two years since March like it seems like this year has gone so slow
the days have been so long and I don't know how you guys feel about it but I just feel like it
dragged the fuck on for so long and now I'm hearing about oh second quarantine we got to do
it again lockdowns COVID cases up but like I don't know I really you know after watching just to like
tie things together and make this podcast sound somewhat cohesive after I listened to or watched
the Lex and Eric talk last night I was he was really making me feel like they were talking
about dark shit about the world and how they're complete opposites like the disposition Lex is
such a he's all about optimism and love and invention and Eric is a lot more negative and
pessimistic because he's researched a lot of stuff that supports his ideas and about the doom of the
world and he was making me really nervous about how like shit may not go back to normal like it
might there might always be some weirdness with virus stuff and identification with vaccines and
like this might be what is predicted and what is written which is scary and I don't know I just
want to go back to the out of sight out of mind kind of lifestyle I was living before where I
never watched the news never really knew what's going on what was going on in the world because
I was productive I was going to work I had a life and I need to go I need to remember that because
it's all funneled in a curated way that tells a story that they want us to hear and put us in
fear that's how it works and I don't want to I don't want to bend over to that anymore I don't
want to like back back bend do a back flip let them have like just fucking go back to my old
ways that were healthy because I don't I think I'm like Lex I think most people are good underneath
all the evil I feel like there's good in all people and you know going around San Diego
meeting people like i just love the people around me and they all are great you know it's not
negative and scary like we see in other countries for the most part and
i think that will remain i think that
things are going to slowly change over time that might go against
human like privacy and what seems
like non-invasive and not super controlled and that's kind of terrifying and i i don't
i don't think it's any different to be honest than all of our information being just ripped from us
from our phones and our locations and what we buy and you know i don't think it's any different i
think it's just the next step and i don't know because i haven't thought this through completely
if we are going to all decide that's absolutely unacceptable and there's no way we're going to
allow mass vaccinations identification surveillance all this stuff that seems scary that might happen
in the future or are we gonna just kind of accept it and just like roll over and I don't know and
so what scares me right now is will there be some sort of uprising you know revolution civil war I
feel like what's happening right now is we're not gonna know it's a revolution and civil war
until the future like looking back at this time it'll probably be labeled as something like that
but we're in it right now there's some sort of transition in the world happening and it's weird
and i was watching that i was up so late last night and i was thinking like you know my great
grandma lived 100 103 years and she had seen some really dark things in the world with wars and
famines and just crazy uprisings everywhere and I don't know dude I could fall asleep right now
why am I still podcasting why are you still listening I love you thank you for listening
because I'm trying to work this out basically I was like laying there last night I was like oh
now I'm starting to see some dark shit in the world happening I'm older and a little wiser now
so I kind of know what's going on and you know maybe if I was this age when the Iraq war was
going on in 9-11 I would have felt similarly or I would have felt a little bit worried like I am
now so it's all interesting and I think this the way I'm gonna march forward in life and
stay on top of my mental health and happiness is to do the thing just to like work on myself
stay in my lane be a good person because that's a domino effect when you treat other people
super kindly and and well in all avenues you know online in person everything it's a domino
effect and I do believe in that and unfortunately there's shit and corruption happening all around
me and I I'm going to I don't want to get sucked into it and get scared and all that shit so
anyways let me check my phone for some last talking points um dude I need a sparkling water
I'm at the I'm at the point now where I'm laying on my couch I'm probably not gonna I need some
bubbles in my body to get up I need some I need some bubbles I'm deflating this is so depressing
episode 59 sucks okay I wrote a list what I need to do tomorrow so maybe this will be fun for you
guys so I have to get gas I drove on the freeway with no gas today like like I don't know where a
gas station is I wasn't familiar with the area I was driving I was like I'll make it home but
it's getting sketchy so I have to get gas workout podcast work then I have to get
this is so specific i have to get eggs creamer pick up those coffee beans for my favorite coffee
shop and i need some more squash because dude i'm a pilgrim i'm making my harvest meals this week my
fucking meal prep harvest dinners and shit with butternut squash and just so many squash it's
squad it's gourd season I love gourd season it's it's the best um dude I'm so excited just sort of
subject change I could talk forever I'm so excited for like Christmas time and stuff I was looking at
um pictures from the last time I was home for Christmas I'm like oh my gosh I can't wait to
go home and do all this again and be with family and I was watching like Christmas baking shows
today and it was great before like football started I was you know I woke up so fucking
early because daylight savings and I was like oh my gosh it's November it's basically Christmas
time because to me the day after Halloween is when Christmas season begins like I know people
wait well I don't know I like get excited about it November 1st and then after Thanksgiving it's
like, game time, but, dude, I wish I had a more exciting life to, like, talk to you guys about
more dramatic, chaotic shit, like, my friend did this, and my boyfriend did this, and, you know,
like, I wish I could show up and be like that and get juicy, but, dude, I'm on my couch on a Sunday
night with 12 candles lit, deflating, because I haven't had sparkling water in two weeks,
having fun and this is what it is and dude it's part of my it's just my life story I think I'll
end on that um I've been trying to upload a video on Instagram all day and it's taking so long
it's an IGTV um oh DK Metcalf posted on his story how annoying am I I just like love following
football players for the motivation like they inspire me so much it's like because they believe
in themselves so much they want to be the best they want to be the best wide receiver in the
NFL they want to be the best quarterback running back whatever you know and I I think that that's
cool that's really inspiring and yeah they're hot it's all good they're hot but like for real
their mindset is is something I look up to a lot all right um happy Sunday there's your podcast
I did my best it's all I can do I did my best judge myself the whole time but
I gotta get over these dumb insecurities you guys might be thinking oh well Jacqueline maybe
you just cooled it and only did it like once or twice a week then you'd come out on your you'd
be on your a-game every time but I don't think that's the case I'm all about those repetitions
man I gotta do it seven days a week I'll go I'll go crazy I'll overthink it I'll try to make
each show this over the top thing because i i don't i like that this is a daily check-in it's a
life update i can be on my couch hanging out by myself talking about whatever the fuck i want
i'm only in my second month now and i feel like this is the format when i'm alone that i want to
i want to keep going okay um sound sound effects are in the works interviews are in the works
um thumb brace merch for all your social media addicted thumbs in the works someday you know
like i'm thinking i'm thinking things about how to make this a little more fucking juicy for y'all
more interesting but it's the best i can do honestly i need to i might drive to 7-eleven
and get a sparkling water a perrier or what no what do i like the
Pellegrino what's the green bottle whatever that one is
because I always like sparkling water before bedtime I don't know why
