Starting point is 00:00:00 What's up guys? Happy Friday. It's episode 78. Welcome back to the show. what's up guys it's jocelyn happy friday welcome back to the show if you're new i'm here seven Mondays a week, go ahead and subscribe on the Apple podcast app and go over to YouTube to watch this. I'm here Monday through Friday. And a fun fact, I'm doing a live stream right now. So follow me on Instagram on Fridays. I'm doing live streams and, uh, it's, it's Friday night. Okay. It's 9 PM. I'm tired of shit. I don't know what's going on in the world. I worked all day, got my hair done. Um, I don't really have a lot to report on, but we're going to make this fun. We're going to talk about my, my day yesterday, my day today, talk about the hair salon a lot. I have a hair
Starting point is 00:01:01 salon story to tell you guys and talk about the vaccine and coronavirus shit that I am starting to find out about like these, these, this new information about the vaccine that I wasn't aware of. So I'm going to do my best. Um, stay with me, stay with me. Um, I'm out of it as shit. I go home next week. So I'll be interviewing friends, family, you know, mom, dad, everyone really. And I don't know it's the final stretch episode 78 final stretch I'll be accompanied by people next week so just this what you're getting today late night tired of shit no alcohol no drugs on board no highness no drunkness um all right yesterday was a great day I got people in the chat what do you want to know they're like they're like you're missing out you're missing the white claw I'm like
Starting point is 00:01:52 yeah no shit can you can hear it my voice about ready to pass out yesterday was great I had a big work day uh how fun is that to know I hope that helped you in some way this podcast it's uh it's supposed to help you I'm supposed to be adding value to your life somehow but um just know that I worked really hard and that should inspire you to do the same so I did that uh I did yoga of course slept eight hours and 20 minutes according to my whoop strap though I got 23% recovery or excuse me I think it was 33% recovery which kind of pisses me off because I've been striving for eight hours all week okay because I've been getting around six and I don't understand how the one day this week I get eight hours and 20 minutes of sleep my recovery was still shit it
Starting point is 00:02:39 still showed up like on the whoop app it's not sponsored I wish they sponsored me I talk about every single podcast but every time I check it it's the it's in the red zone because I'm not recovering past like 50% where it turns yellow. And then green is like past 75%, I think I'm pissed. So I felt like I slept amazing. Whoop shop said otherwise, cause I had a lot of, um, disturbances. I woke up a lot during my sleep apparently. And anyways, who's bored. I'm bored. That's not who wants, literally I'm talking about sleep on a Friday night. Fuck my life. Um, dude, I have zero juiciness, uh, on board. Juiciness. I wish I had a vibrant social life to, you know, fill you in on, but I don't. Okay. That's what's up. Um, my flexibility is coming
Starting point is 00:03:29 back. I mentioned I do yoga. I've been like, I can't explain how yoga is changing my life. I don't want to be annoying but like it's so fun to sit on my couch now like I lay back on my couch and I do this like crisscross leg thing that I naturally can do now because I'm so flexible and I never could do that before and it's like fun to be in my kitchen when I'm cooking I'm like sticking my so if my counters are kind of close so I can like stick my leg up and stretch it while I'm cooking and like I don't know I'm doing all this funky shit around my apartment I feel really limber i feel very vital and zen i'm deep breathing more often i feel connected to myself my core feels really strong so i'm going for it i'm going to i'm seriously never looking back i
Starting point is 00:04:21 chose yoga as my one thing my one fitness of choice my fitness uh fucking it's my fit fit journey whatever the fuck you want to call it because i get wishy-washy some days i'm like okay i want to be a heavy lifter i want to do bodybuilding workouts and some days i'm like i want to do CrossFit some days I'm like Pilates some days I'm like I'm a runner I want to do endurance running run 24 miles and no fuck that yoga is it that's what I'm doing I'm committed and honestly here's what I thought I told my sister this I think we were facetiming a couple days ago we were talking about going home for the holidays because we're going to be at home at the same time and I was saying how I'm glad I picked yoga because if shit shuts down I don't think the
Starting point is 00:05:05 gyms are open in Washington I'll be able to do yoga inside and it and I'll be warm because like being outside working out at home is gonna suck because my mom has a rowing machine she has a bunch of weights and stuff box jumps kettlebells she wakes up at like 4 a.m every morning goes out and either bikes she does road biking she'll go like I don't know 25 fucking miles before work just like out by the ocean and shit and then she'll um fucking or if she doesn't do that she'll do like a crossfit workout out in front of the garage and do she'll like hold a plank for seven minutes and then like get in a fancy outfit for work and just like my mom is so amazing and every time I feel like I this is what I told her every time I'm bailing or like you know if I'm
Starting point is 00:05:57 had a part during my workout where I'm like kind of slacking off I'm like what would my mom do what would what would mom do so her name's Jodi by the way she'll be on the show next week get ready she's great um so yeah what else can I report on uh that was yesterday this morning I had a great morning woke up refreshed eight hours and 20 minutes of sleep like I said I don't believe my whoop strap I think it's a bunch of garbage um I don't know I don't think it I don't think it's accurate 100 but I'm pissed I felt like I recovered amazingly and I guess I didn't but breathe i'm nervous because i'm on this live stream oh fuck um all right so we got kane from arizona in the chat we have ozzy in the chat we have ryan in the chat we have who else is in the
Starting point is 00:06:40 chat tonight hey we got pbdpdb someone with a username i can't explain we've got glomby i love it when people have funny usernames i don't know how to pronounce so anyways this morning woke up took a cold shower, drank coffee, drank my iced Americano, two shots of espresso, almond milk, ran out of almond milk, milk. And, uh, didn't drink. I only had two shots of espresso today, which I'm proud of. Cause I've been trying. My new thing is I'm cutting myself off at noon with caffeine instead of relaunching midday or like at 2 PM having another, uh, iced coffee. I stop at noon and no matter what I stop at noon, because I know that's going to help me sleep better um according to fucking science because caffeine has a half-life or some shit so if you
Starting point is 00:07:28 have it in your system if you drink at noon like a certain percentage of the caffeine will still be in your body by like 10 p.m so if you cut off well noon's like a good time to stop but anyways this guy the reason i found that out is from a guy on youtube go over to better ideas on youtube this guy makes really really like concise well-written videos about like human optimization shit or like productivity hacks he's like a I don't know how to explain it it's like watching a documentary but this guy's in his house like being a normal dude playing video games and like eating chipotle but he's teaching you how to live a really productive good life and he'll teach you like why you're addicted to your phone and tips for that it's I don't know what it is about it
Starting point is 00:08:19 but sometimes I get sucked into his videos because they're so like clear and simple to understand so anyways I learned about coffee the other day from him and uh I don't know I'm uh I'm addicted and I'm trying to just stay disciplined with my 12 a.m or 12 p.m cut off anyways okay this whole podcast is going to be the hair salon episode I was going to tell you guys all about the hair salon so let's get into it hey we got Lizzie in the chat welcome um we're on episode 78 I'm live streaming happy Friday drinking water I'm tired of shit okay so I went to the hair salon today I have to get my roots done every six weeks because I'm naturally a dark brunette just look at my eyebrows that's what's going on I'm dark fucking hair um it's it's it's fine but
Starting point is 00:09:10 I don't remember being brunette anymore at this point it's nuts I was telling my stylist today I was like her name's Tina and I was like I literally it's but I've been blonde for about a year and I don't even remember the feeling of being brunette like it's blonde has completely changed my like I like how I think of myself and like everything and it's nuts so I got my roots done today and it's sad because I was at the salon and they were it's been there for like 30 years here in San Diego and they were demolishing it as I was getting my hair done. These guys, there, there was like, I don't know, like six dudes. One of them sounded South African. It was kind of, he had like a flannel on. I was confused. I'm like, you're doing, I guess it makes sense, but it was
Starting point is 00:09:53 like the wrong outfit for the job. These guys were, uh, demolishing the place, taking shit apart, taking out sinks, taking out those chairs with like little pump at the bottom to like lift the people up in the, while they're getting their hair done. And, um, anyways, it was nuts. and I'm like wait a minute something wasn't looking right okay not only was the flannel not looking right but I'm like what's what's odd here what's off like what am I why am I triggered okay why am I triggered in this hair salon right now with these six dudes and I'm like I I felt like I time traveled it was 2019 because these guys weren't wearing masks none of them no masks no masks grunting around lifting shit talking a lot bending over flipping
Starting point is 00:10:40 over tables like hauling out the front desk that was traumatizing for my hairstylist she's been there for a decade and I had to I felt bad I was kind of like talking her through it like wow that must be really hard for you this is like getting your children ripped out of your arms you've been here. You've this, you're the last time you'll ever see the front desk. Um, but yeah, these guys aren't wearing masks. So it's kind of exciting. I was, I was lighthearted about it. I was getting my, I was neck back, you know, get my hair washed and I'm so out, out, out loud. And I am so out loud. I'm so fucking outspoken in public. Like I just don't, I don't hold back anymore. Cause I'm, uh, it's 2020. I don't give a shit. I'm the main character. Everyone else's
Starting point is 00:11:22 character in my movie I'm having fun with people and I was just telling them how excited I am to get coronavirus like to their face I'm like because this guy was kind of waiting for his other buddy while I was getting my hair rinsed she the lady put the toner in the lady my hairstylist she's really nice she might be listening this episode because I told her about my show and uh he's like sitting there or whatever and yeah I was just like I can't wait to get it I'm really excited I'm looking forward to it and I'm probably gonna get it here if I get it anywhere I'm gonna to get it here because you know obviously they weren't wearing masks and I don't know it was crazy because I told Tina I'm like I it's wild how like weird it looks when people don't have
Starting point is 00:12:03 masks masks on I don't know it was it was wild and then it was funny every like I don't know 20 minutes or so some random random people walk in the salon and they were like auctioning off like equipment and furniture during my session. Anyways, that was my day. I did that. It took, you know, it wasn't, it was like a three hour turnaround start to finish. Um, I feel like I finally found my style, my hairstylist, like this, this, uh, Tina's like no bullshit, super nice. I feel like we're on the same page about the world, politic opinions, um, social social justice movement opinions fucking everything and she has cats she's so awesome and uh I feel like I I like the idea of going back to the same person every time but I haven't found
Starting point is 00:12:53 that in San Diego yet since I've been blonde so yeah I finally like found her and um I'm sticking with it because we always talk I I never shut up that's a good sign when you can hold a conversation with your hairstylist for the entire session it's like that's fun because I always feel awkward when I'm sitting in the chair and I'm like on my phone the whole like I don't say anything to them I'm just sitting there like zoned out it's awkward I can't do that so anyways um I think that's about it for today worked chilled um did a little pre-show meditation yoga stretch out session worked on my splits um wrote down some weekend plans I need almond milk I ran out of almond milk this morning so I need almond milk oh my god I haven't said this if you're new this is my audio
Starting point is 00:13:44 diary so this is my journal if I had I'd write almond milk in my journal my grocery list so you're hearing about it okay so I'm telling you everything that's how this show goes uh yeah I got kind of roasted a couple nights ago I was in a I was watching a live stream with a couple guys that do a podcast um they're in Arizona and someone in the comments because they had meant they talked about me because they know about my show and one of the guys in the comments is like I don't get it why do you do seven days a week that's overkill that's like drowning out your audience with so much so many episodes and it's nothing to look forward to if you do it every day and I'm like wait a minute you don't get it this is an audio vlog an audio
Starting point is 00:14:28 diary just like YouTube daily YouTube vloggers same concept instead of like looking at me on YouTube walking around my house saying oh shit I fuck I just ran out of almond milk I gotta get that tomorrow instead of me doing that I'm telling I'm reporting the good news in one take on my show um like in an audio like vlog format audio diary format so I don't know I just feel like I gotta hash that out and let you know if you're new ew I have a particle in my water San Diego tap water is sketchy I don't have filtered water right now it looks like a like a piece of toenail okay so anyways let's see what else i have to report on yeah no masks kind of tripped me out i
Starting point is 00:15:20 came home and downed like 18 wellness formula tablets source naturals i think is the or nordic naturals who makes those tablets anyways go to amazon type in wellness formula i usually say i don't want to influence you i'm not an influencer i don't want to be annoying and distract you from yourself and make you buy shit you don't need but like no bull like no no cap is that what i say no cap no bullshit no no lie go to amazon.com type in wellness formula buy those tablets because every time this year i felt a little like funky if you ever feel off just take like six of those you'll feel amazing there are basically these um um, immune system support tablets with all kinds of herbs, echinacea, garlic bulb, zinc, D, C.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Was it, okay. I'm getting questions in the chat. Was it a remodeled? Was it a remodel of the salon? No, they're shutting that bitch down because of coronavirus. I mean, it was on its way out, right? It's been there for 30 years. Sorry. I'm responding to a question in the chat. I know that's annoying for listeners who aren't on the live stream the salon has been there for 30 years and they were I joked I was like this is about to be a because we are bitching about vaccines and kind of coronavirus and I was like because she really she's like like me like fuck I'm not I'm not taking that shit uh I'm like yeah I'm like watch this this salon's about to be a vaccination site people come here to get vaccinated just watch anyways um so these are my weekend plans
Starting point is 00:17:00 let me jump into that before I talk about uh the vaccine like I just mentioned uh I got to get almond milk y'all know that I want to get out on a hike I think I'm going to do a Saturday morning hike back in my old hood if you know anything about Torrey Pines California not trying to do a meet and greet okay don't come kidnap me I'll probably be at Torrey Pines tomorrow morning not can tell you what time um yeah I missed it out there I used to hike there literally like four days a week and go run Torrey Pines because I live so close like I was right on like that strip in Del Mar so probably gonna go up there go grocery shopping podcast um I don't really have a lot to do before I leave for a home like packing wise I'm gonna throw a bunch of sweatpants
Starting point is 00:17:45 in my suitcase and call it good because literally all I'm gonna wear is sweatpants for a month I can't wait be home with my mom all my family just hanging the fuck out my mom has a giant wine cellar thing I'm gonna be going through a bottle a day fucking off the rails crazy ass podcast I told her I said I've never drank every day I don't know what that life is like I kind of want to do it for the first time with you or just like frequently drink multiple times a week with my mom and family and stuff. Cause usually I wait, I just do it on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Like I just have a couple of glasses of wine, but I'm like, no, I want to, I want to do it. I want to like have a, I want to know, I want to know what that's like. And also it's like
Starting point is 00:18:27 a celebratory thing. Like fuck 2020. Everyone was down in the booze in March. I haven't done it yet. So I'm saving it till December. Fuck yeah. Uh, it got a comment in the chat from someone that knows my life too well because he's a daily daily listener shout out to ozzy he's also a patron a patron you can go over to patreon.com slash tjms if you want to support the show everyone gets a shout out just like i did to ozzy everyone gets my exclusive patreon only content so go over there to uh support the show that's patreon.com slash tjms anyways he just called out in the chat that i need to do my laundry because he knows that i'm due to do my laundry that's how this fucking show goes you pay attention every day you know my routine you're like Saturday is time for
Starting point is 00:19:14 Jacqueline do laundry and you're actually you're wrong it's Sunday I'm not due until Sunday so nice try all right I said in the beginning of the show I don't really know what's going on the world like I haven't watched the news I have no clue what's going on the election no clue what's going on pop culture I've had my head in my laptop working doing the show napping sleeping eating yoga, yoga eating. And that's about it. Sleeping. It's been that kind of week. Okay. So I don't know. I don't know what's going on in the world, but I saw this article about the vaccine, something about, uh, from the department of defense that came out in May that has me a little shook and I don't know the logistics behind this. I don't know what's factual,
Starting point is 00:19:57 what's not, but for right on the defense.gov website, it says for immediate release in May 12th on may 12 2020 dod department of defense awards 138 million million dollars a 138 million dollar contract enabling pre-filled syringes for future covid 19 vaccines today the department of defense of the united fuck guys hold on i'm kind of out of breath it's hard for me i'm you know when the teacher asks someone to read in class and they struggle i feel like that kid right now i'm sorry it's late i need to get to bed um today the department of defense and the u.s department of health and human services announced a 138 million dollar contract with apgex systems america for project jumpstart and a rapid usa and rapid usa which together will
Starting point is 00:20:47 dramatically expand u.s production capability for domestically manufactured medical grade injection devices starting by october 2020 let's explore this right now what is app eject the reason i'm shook by this is because there's something like an rfid what does that mean again something identification radio frequency identification it's gonna the thing about this article that makes me go go nuts is the fact that these pre-filled syringes are pre-filled with an RFID that will be injected with the vaccine. So you're, there's a tracking device within the vaccine. Okay. I've heard a lot about ID 2020, Bill Gates's thing, or I think it's through, I think it's something to do with him. I don't know. I like got into the conspiracies
Starting point is 00:21:36 of March. I haven't touched him. I haven't touched him in months. I literally have no clue what's going on about this other than like this article I read today and that's it. I haven't explored. So we're doing it right now. So what's APJECT systems? I want to read what this is. Medical injections. Okay. So APJECT has completely re-imagined how to make and fill a new kind of pre-filled injector that can deliver medicines of vaccines with enormous speed, scale, and efficiency. Well, that's positive, but I'm looking for the, uh, oh i'm looking at like a graphic an infographic thing with the needle a sterile needle hub and blue connector are strapped onto the container by the nurse
Starting point is 00:22:23 it's not together these three components from ap jack to brief i don't like it i don't like looking at this needle so this isn't what i wanted i want to find out what this other company maybe is. Rapid USA. Let's look at that. Rapid USA. I told you we're exploring this together. I don't know what's going on in the world. I'm trying to learn something new today. Come on this journey with me. People in the comments are talking. Yeah, we got a confirmation. RFID stands for radio frequency identification. Thanks, Ozzy. Thanks for let me know okay so the rapid usa.com okay bridging the gap and pandemic response now i used to work at a startup company and that first uh headline or whatever the fuck you read on the
Starting point is 00:23:11 home page is key okay and telling people what exactly you do so let's this is exactly what they do they bridge the gap in pandemic response introducing the rapid consortium i don't even know what that means quickly manufacturing hundreds of millions of pre-filled syringes immediately ready to save lives okay this isn't giving me anything about the id but these are the companies so factcheck.com or excuse me uh uh or excuse usa today i went here because i looked up more about the uh rfid chips being put in the vaccines it says here fact check this was published in june so after this may shit happened with the department of defense this came out in june by u.s city today it says fact
Starting point is 00:23:56 check feds buy syringes that may have rfid chips but no evidence covid19 vaccination required i don't know so the claim the defense department ordered enough pre-filled syringes with rfid tracking devices to prepare for military-backed forced coronavirus vaccinations then i got in a rabbit hole then i was thinking because i don't know the laws i don't i'm like in my 20s i don't know shit about the world and I'm like is it is there something in the law that says that the government can't force vaccinations on the people like is there because whenever I was at CVS a couple days ago and they're like do you want your flu shot and I was like fuck no like no thanks I'm good um is that is that going to be the same for corona the corona vaccine because I don't know
Starting point is 00:24:42 here's what here's what I'm anticipating or that here's what I've heard this what people say is that uh actually someone in the chat earlier mentioned that uh it'll be like a requirement to get in an uber if you don't have the vaccine you can't get in the uber you can't go to the gym if you don't have the vaccine or whatever like certain companies will require it so it'll almost be like a like you in order to live life and be a normal citizen and go to the grocery store and do shit if it's required by these companies i guess to go and and use their products and go to their stores like i don't understand so i'm still new i'm learning about this but let's see here um will it be mandatory to vaccinate against the coronavirus the news
Starting point is 00:25:28 release states the production goal for the pre-filled syringes is 500 million units in 2021 okay i don't know do the pre-filled syringes feature rfid tracking radio frequency id and near field identification chips can be affixed to the label of a pre-filled syringe according to rapid rapid rapid usa's website it's if this option were used a health care worker could remotely track the time and place of each injection in real time via free mobile phone app okay fucking weird our rating so this is USA Today saying if it's they say partly false okay so there's no evidence the contract is a precursor to law and force vaccination
Starting point is 00:26:20 on the federal or state levels Trump said that once the coronavirus vaccine becomes available immunization will be optional okay moreover I always thought that I never thought because people are like i'm not going to take it and of course the people that are probably more vulnerable and they're you know compromised they'll probably take it i don't know um but it'll be optional according to this and then moreover generally states only require vaccinations for certain individuals okay anyways that's just interesting me because i didn't know like the reason i don't if you're also like like me on this because i am a tired it's almost 10 p.m friday night i'm tired i'm learning right now about vaccines but what tripped me up today was the fact that wait you
Starting point is 00:27:11 can you can inject us with some fucking tracking device what the hell that really freaked me out i'm like wait what i had no clue this came back that this came out in may so i just a little door of the explorer mission right there for y'all hope you enjoy that section um do we have any comments in the chat here let's scroll up earlier there's no basis for a chip being within the vaccine it's not like they already track us with what's in our pockets true our phones are like giving it away anyways uh yeah there was reports on of ticket master saying you can't come into concerts unless you're vaccinated. Let's look that up. Let's fact check that right now. Ticketmaster vaccine. Like, let's just see what they're saying. Help.ticketmaster.com.
Starting point is 00:28:06 What are your COVID screening requirements? Okay. Fullfact.org. Let's see. I bet that's not true okay Ticketmaster won't demand proof of a COVID-19 vaccine for concert entry what was claimed so they claimed that it was going to be uh mandatory for concert attendance and then our verdict according to this fact fullfact.org says Ticketmaster said it's exploring a number of safety features events excuse me that event organizers may want to use including checks on test and vaccine status but entry requirements will be up to organizers fucking wild i don't think it's that serious okay let me take off my reading glasses and stop being dry and boring right now like okay hold on let me get down to the bottom of the chat
Starting point is 00:29:06 Clearly, there's a fucking virus going on, okay? There's a fucking coronavirus. Throw it in my notebook because I'm done with it. And I'm frustrated at myself. I didn't have a lot of content to tell you guys today. Y'all, go to YouTube. I used to write so many notes. No one screenshotted this and plagiarized, but I used to write so many notes every show.
Starting point is 00:29:25 Dude, Friday night, episode 78, I got nothing. But let me take off my reading glasses and put on my thinking cap. Okay. I just feel like, okay. Like this is our first in my life, my first pandemic. I don't know that it's, it's serious, but I don't know if it's so serious that we need to start thinking about like, like Ticketmaster, for example, thinking about how in the future vaccines may have to be you know for concert attendance people are going to need a vaccine i don't think that's necessary i think that's like overkill i don't know i don't know again i'm i don't know how this works i don't know anything about that i don't i heard that if enough people get the vaccine it'll
Starting point is 00:30:18 create some sort of herd immunity and the virus will slowly like die off a little bit obviously i think it's going to stick around like the flu it'll be that type of thing we'll always have to deal with it but for companies to start like if it becomes required to have a vaccine that's where i'm like people are going fucking psycho it's too that's like okay the how all comes back to this what i always say how many people are in a fucking casket what's the death rate what's the percentage okay how many people at a concert or in a casket because they went to the concert what are those statistics like I don't think we need to test the waters of that and find out without
Starting point is 00:30:59 like taking precautions and making people um you know like limiting capacity and all that I'm not saying don't do that I'm just saying that the reality is you can't save a hundred percent of people's lives and I don't think the severity of the virus um matches or like the response to the virus and shutting shit down i'm this can go i could guys i could bitch about california right now i could bitch about lockdowns i could bitch about it all but i don't know i feel like it's being handled so strange and i don't really understand the world i'm so young and new but like what the fuck i can't imagine a world where i have to go in and you know i want to go to dinner and i have to have a fucking vaccine because i can't because i want taco bell i don't even need
Starting point is 00:31:49 talk about, but that would suck. What are your guys' thoughts? Send me a DM. Talk to me on Instagram. I always, I reply to almost every message, pretty much every message. It's wild. Anyways. Um, I don't know if I'm good at ranting when I'm tired, but I tried my best. Hope you enjoyed that. Um, anyways, fucking A, like I look at these movies that come out these tv shows about pandemics and i'm like this is so crazy it's apocalyptic some of them are so nuts it's like everything's like shut down and okay i'm annoyed about myself i'm not gonna talk like that anymore and be like a complainer like i said it's gonna get juicy the happy fucking holidays christmas edition jacqueline monroe show is gonna be it's gonna
Starting point is 00:32:43 to be so lit literally I'm going to be four glasses of wine deep every episode with my mom hanging out talking about making gingerbread gingerbread houses and shit talking about my family talking about what we do because we're going to be on horseback we're going to be on horseback we're going to be fucking sitting sitting on a dike looking at the river we're gonna be fucking at Walmart buying slippers we're gonna be uh I don't know going on little road trips you know going going around the state it's gonna be lit so I have a lot to talk about next week um damn I'm excited I'm like the whole goal though by the way is to be home and be fully with my family fully present like this show's gonna be my one time a day where I'm whisked away without
Starting point is 00:33:41 you know them in my like if I'm doing a solo show it's gonna be me time but I don't plan on being on social media I don't plan on like I'm not gonna have a lot like here's the thing I'm not gonna do what I used to do when I was younger where I'd be at Thanksgiving like here's my plate of food and here's my family and we're all taking pics and here I'm gonna no I don't want to do any of that shit I want to attend Thanksgiving I want to attend all the holiday gatherings without a phone taking pictures of shit I don't want any of that I want to go back to 1942 fucking 19 when was I old where I didn't have how old was I when I was fully present I want to go back to like high school no social media no Instagram stories and just be there with family
Starting point is 00:34:30 my grandparents are getting older everyone's getting older the last thing I want to do is be glued to my phone and I hope you guys do the same because it's so dumb um how much it sucks us away from life and it's crazy and like I had a bad day yesterday I told you guys I told you on the show I had a really bad social media addicted day on uh Thursday I kept finding myself getting so frustrated like every 20 minutes I was like what am I doing on my phone what am I doing like why am i doing this i have no purpose i'm just bouncing around apps i'm like amazon safari googling something random instagram twitter like podcast app like it's so dumb so i don't know um so what was i saying oh i'm excited to go home y'all know that i can't shut up about it emptying
Starting point is 00:35:22 my trash on the podcast i love emptying my trash that little crunchy noise my laptop makes whoa playing playing a song I shouldn't be playing right now all right sorry um thanks for tuning in today hope you had fun with me late night show again uh tomorrow is going to be my 11th Q&A so you can listen to the first 10 Q&As if you want to really get to know me um that's a great I feel like that's a good way to I guess listen to the show if you're just starting go back to the Q&A episodes because I don't know I answer people's questions and shit so yeah I'm looking forward to that um tune in tomorrow make sure to subscribe to the podcast
Starting point is 00:36:13 on the podcast app and uh watch me on YouTube I'm here Monday through Friday and go over to patreon.com slash TJMS if you want to support the show. And that's all I got for today. I do have a sticky note over here. This kind of has to do with me talking about being on my phone addicted, taking pics on Thanksgiving of the turkey and the green beans
Starting point is 00:36:36 and all that shit. So this is an old note I wrote. I think I talked about this in an early episode. I used to write so much. I'm not going to finish the episode. I'm going to read this note and I'm going to riff on it. So I'm not done yet. Okay? This is going to be about a two minute segment. to round out the episode so i wrote this how do influencers see themselves being mocked
Starting point is 00:36:59 and continue to keep up the act how do they not unsee that like how can they not unsee it i couldn't unsee it like you know how there's all this content out there mocking influencers like hey guys welcome back to my channel today we're going to talk about my zara vlog my zara haul i got these new sweaters for fall and they're the same colors I get every single year but to this year there's like a new button like you know everyone mocks like there's I don't know there's all this content out there that mocks it I'm like how do influencers know they're being like how do they not how do they continue the act like I don't understand how do people not feel like stupid about themselves not to be mean but like when I see people and I know it's like literally there's
Starting point is 00:37:46 a script there's a format there's a way to talk there's a fucking just it's a learned behavior I don't think it's natural I've mentioned this so many times I'm literally rereading a note I wrote like early episode I'm like what are you like when you're sitting on the couch with your mom talking about your day at like 9 30 p.m back home like what are you how do you do you go hi mom welcome back to my talk session with you today we're gonna talk about my day like you don't fucking talk like so why do people and I get it like news reporters gotta have like a tonight we're gonna we're tonight we had a car crash on interstate 5 like they put on a voice because it's part of the profession I'm kind of seeing that with the influencer world like
Starting point is 00:38:36 it kind of comes with the territory you have a online persona an online voice I'm getting real sick of it i just want people to talk like a fucking bonfire bitch like me sitting around drinking a fucking beer around a bonfire not caring not trying i'm not trying to sound cute that's me dude why isn't everyone like me i don't fucking get it i'm pissed what if this was the sexy thing to this what if this voice is the sexy way to sell makeup yo guys what up here i'm gonna do it right now because i'm holding a concealer from uh this is Too Faced Born This Way concealer this is how I would sell this fucking concealer hey do you have zits on your face do you have zits on your face like me oh no way that's great you do I got the
Starting point is 00:39:19 I got the perfect product for you this is Born This Way concealer from Too Faced this is the shit I'm not even kidding when I say this I put this on my hand to test the other day and I washed my hands and I did the dishes and I wiped my wipe my ass and the concealer wasn't gone so if you need it to cover your acne all day it's not moving bitch you really need this and honestly so what you do is you don't buy this from sephora.com because it's way too expensive go to amazon it's so much cheaper i don't know what's going on with this amazon discount it's like 25% off all the time dude just get it you need it i don't know i just wish it was more like that on social media unless like so i'm gonna show you this product today we're gonna i'm gonna show you a tutorial
Starting point is 00:40:02 on the born this way concealer you guys know the drill you know my opinion I don't want to be a bitch right now I'm tired though this is my pre-bedtime bitch session if we were boy if we were boyfriend and girlfriend if we were dating because sometimes I say that you know what other woman talks to you seven days a week like I'm your best friend I'm your girlfriend this is us hanging out on a Friday night I don't have a glass of wine with me I have nothing exciting I'm not no drugs on board but this is like pillow talk this would be me bitching to you pre-bedtime maybe you're reading a book and every five minutes i'm like hey i gotta tell you something about this you know influencer vocal box there's fucking influencer speech i'm sick of it
Starting point is 00:40:43 we got people in the live stream just watching me freaking the fuck out right now hi i'm a catfish i'm a catfish see the picture see the picture behind me see what i really look like dude the internet's wild like that isn't it why does the podcast get lit at the end when I'm trying to button it up I hate myself I love myself don't say that why can I bring this it's like the more I get tired the more uh psychotic um anyways that's all I got for you today stick around for your patron for your shout out and I'll talk to you guys tomorrow for Saturday's Q&A I hope you had an amazing day I hope your family's healthy.

I never knew podcasting was my passion until a couple months ago, but I wish there was a secret code everyone could unlock for themselves and find it because it feels so good. I've never felt closer to myself and more happy, and that's the high note I'm going to end this on. I love you guys. Talk to you tomorrow. All right.
