Starting point is 00:01:14 shit to start the episode I'm gonna crack open my key lime LaCroix uh hold on it's a chill Sunday night let me tell you about my day then we're gonna have a section or the majority of the podcast is going to be me reading mind-blowing facts and stuff I never knew because I got down a rabbit hole on Uberfax's Instagram today and I love learning random cool facts and I think you guys will too so that'll be the main section of the podcast but I need to start off by saying that I haven't I think today was my most productive work day of the entire year because as you know I have a full-time job outside of well I don't know it's hard to explain my job and whether it's full-time or not it's not like I go into an office nine to five but
Starting point is 00:02:00 I have a regular job on the side of this podcast or before this is my hobby my job is my job but anyways today was so productive because I'm front loading I'm trying to do as much work as I can now so that when I go home uh in a few days that I can relax with my family I'm not going to be overwhelmed with work so I'm really proud of myself I haven't been proud of my my work days have really been all over the place sometimes I'm working really late at night the other day I told you guys I was on my phone like every 20 minutes getting distracted and I've been hard on myself because I know I'm good at my job but I don't stay focused like I want to be when I'm working alone at home and I'm trying to get better but today was a grind I was so on it I like to give
Starting point is 00:02:46 you an idea of what I'm like, what I compiled today. So I basically put together a list of 600 tech founders and I'll be doing something with that later on, but that's kind of what I did today. And, uh, I'm in the PR world. Just understand I'm in the PR world. Uh, yeah, I don't know. I don't know why I'm weird about telling you guys about specifics about my job. I just like don't know what to say I love what I do but uh I had a lot of fun today working and I was listening to music a lot of country a lot of I want to introduce you to my kin folks all that all those fuzzy warm songs about you know bringing your woman home to your parents and living a simple life I don't know what it is but it's probably because I'm going home to
Starting point is 00:03:34 Washington to my mom's house I'm just like listening to so much country lately because I'm like it's so it's like it reminds me of home and I don't know I can't wait so that's kind of what I did today I grinded out work uh did some yoga of course uh fuck I don't know what else I do ah can I just cut to the chase and do the uber facts I don't know I could so oh I know so I planned my week because I'm a little bit I'm not necessarily anxious about traveling in or anything like that it's just like making sure that I'm prepped because I leave for a month so tomorrow is my errands day I know you guys this is me every day and I have someone calling me out my dms all the time about like weren't you supposed to go on a hike two weeks ago like I say shit I want to do
Starting point is 00:04:20 and then when I update you the next day it never happens right so today I'm on day three of not buying almond milk. Why am I grossed out by the way? I just said that. Hold on. I'm on day three of not buying almond milk. Okay. I didn't go to the store. I'm where I wear sweats all day. It's Sunday. I worked, I chilled. I, I don't know. I don't know what to say. I literally haven't done anything I wanted to do errands wise at all this weekend. So tomorrow's the day I've got, Oh, Oh, oh, by the way, those UPS Amazon returns still haven't done those. Yep. So that'll be tomorrow. Laundry tomorrow. Uh, laundry was supposed to be guys. If you're new, if you're like, what's the show I'm basically giving you guys like in a, in an audio format, exactly what
Starting point is 00:05:13 I'd write in my daily planner, what I'd write in my journal. Like this is my life. You're listening to it. I'm just telling you specifics about my day. So yeah. So tomorrow is Amazon return. I out returns. You got to go to UPS, USPS. I got to go to the laundromat. I got to go, uh, fuck, what was the other one? I should just get my planners on my table or something else important. Oh, I have some phone calls, like banking stuff. Um, anyway, tomorrow's my errands day. Errands. Errands Monday. Tuesday is deep clean Tuesday. That means my entire apartment top to bottom is getting deep cleaned and then Wednesday is my like self-care packing day getting all like prepped and ready I'm getting my nails done I'm getting a spray tan guys I'm getting
Starting point is 00:06:00 everything like I'm I'm going home as if I'm seeing a man like I'm getting I'm trying to look as hot as possible for my family because like the last thing I want them to think when I come home is Jesus like what's going on like you're blonde now and you look like shit like I gotta be tan a little bit and I just want a spray tan because I haven't had one in so long and because I'm sick of doing my own like you know lotion and stuff myself I want to go into a booth pretty sure they're still open right now I should probably check but um yeah so that's my week and then I fly out I have to wake up at like 4 a.m on Thursday and I fly out early so I'm flying on Thanksgiving which is gonna be fine but yeah that's my week that's what I planned today um
Starting point is 00:06:46 i'm actually excited for tuesday to deep clean because i'm i'm gonna be like going through everything i'm gonna pretend like it's my spring cleaning because i'm not gonna be home till the end of december and i want it to be like perfect when i get back so i'm not overwhelmed by crap and shit laying around so anyways let's get into these uber facts uh i could have gotten lit tonight or something be more uh fun for you guys i feel like this is another chill episode like some days are more you know me like I'm I'm out there today's not that day it's 6 30 and just you know chill and drink a LaCroix the tv on the background on in the background on mute I didn't pay attention to football at all today I have no clue what happened all I know is Steelers
Starting point is 00:07:32 are 10-0 and that's insane so and also happy birth birthday happy birthday to Juju I follow Juju on Instagram he's got a great energy Juju he's a receiver I believe what is he I think he's a receiver for uh I'm gonna get that wrong right I don't know for the Steelers number 19 I found him on TikTok and I followed his Instagram he's just got this like nice he's got this nice energy about him and I I just like following him so okay so I'm going to Uberfax uh I never I saved a bunch stuff so I never go to my saved posts but here I am okay let's so this is going to be exciting this is going to be where Jacqueline brings the energy brings the entertainment the excitement this is the this is the part where I'll say um in the most like content creator human optimization
Starting point is 00:08:25 podcast baddie businesswoman way if you find if you're if you get any value from this section of the podcast please screenshot this episode and share it to your story and tell your friends thank you it's got you know how people say that they're like I'm gonna I'm gonna bring value I'm gonna bring value for you today I'm not one I'm not one of those shows it's usually what it's so random I talk about whatever I want I don't make it that's a thing 10 minute segue no excuse me a 30 second segue before I do the uber facts I realized that I have made this show so like effortless for my lifestyle like to fit into my lifestyle I don't like if I had a and I actually thought about this I got a phone call I called my patrons my patrons and I took a call with someone
Starting point is 00:09:19 and he said that he's like yeah maybe you should do some sort of structure for the episodes or you know put together a schedule or something like where each day of the week it's something that we can expect and I thought about that and that sounds great and all but the last thing I want to do is wake up on a Thursday and I have to oh fuck I gotta put together this itinerary for today's episode like no thanks okay what I'm gonna do and this is why it's so effortless for me is I already write as it is like random ideas thoughts like I have a whole thing of notes on my phone and it's never ending I've compiled it's like I don't know how many it's up to like 300 pages of google doc from like the time I was 18 or time I started writing out google docs in
Starting point is 00:10:00 college and notes on my iPhone. I've compiled like everything I've ever written. And so it's part of what I do already. So I'm basically using that as the, uh, the, the things I write daily as the talking points. And I'm not putting together a, all right, this first segment, we're gonna talk about current events and then we're going to go into news. Then we're going to go into weather. Like I'm not going to do that to you guys. And the most I do for structure is, uh, Saturday Q and A boom but we might you know what maybe Sunday is going to be the uber facts day because we're going to talk about the fact that right now first fact ready for this the average human would have to consume 300 hamburgers to match the equivalent of what hummingbirds eat every day to
Starting point is 00:10:45 survive so 300 hamburgers is the equivalent of what hummingbirds eat every day to survive and I guess that's because of the speed of their wings and everything like their metabolism must be insane I need to do a further google search so I saved that because I was like what the fuck so hummingbirds diet calories that's like 760,000 calories I believe if I did my math right in my head so this is on uberfax like I don't know so someone wrote on a note or excuse me in a comment an average single patty hamburger is like 250 calories. Multiply that by 300, we get 76,000 calories. That's a minimum hummingbirds need just to stay alive because they move their wings so fast. The average American
Starting point is 00:11:36 eats 2.4 burgers per day. Why do these facts seem like they're bullshit? Because here I am on Google the first Google search I put in or the first entry the first thing that comes up on Google is uh it says where is it these petite birds consume between this makes zero sense to what I just read on uberfax 3.14 and 7.6 calories a day oh shit okay it's about the ratio the size of the animal to the calories. Okay. This makes a lot more sense. If these hummingbirds had a metabolism or excuse me, if humans had the metabolism of a hummingbird, they would have to consume approximately 155,000 calories a day. That's about 77 times as much as most humans eat. Okay. That makes sense. Cause I was confused. Wait. So they realistically, when they're on the,
Starting point is 00:12:36 on their little honeysuckle sucking out the, or, you know, on the flowers and shit, they're sucking out about three to three to eight calories a day, but compared to their body, that would be like us eating 155,000 calories. All right. You just learned something. I feel like, did I provide you value? Are you going to share this with a friend? Dude, I'm such a good pot. Like I haven't tooted my own horn and gotten really arrogant lately, but like that was a fact you probably didn't know. And damn, I'm just like, so good at my job. Okay. So this one's great. Cause, uh, let's talk about the fact that, uh, this is going to put a whole new meaning on yeast infections. The ancient Greeks made their dildos out of bread. Okay. The ancient Greeks made their
Starting point is 00:13:20 dildos out of bread. I think I said this a few podcasts ago. I'm like, did people have sex before like 1950? I don't know how, like, it freaks me out when I think about like prehistoric sexual relations do i want to google everything i don't want to google everything that's i think we can just like where's the turning hard dough to sourdough since 125 bc someone commented this first stuffed crust so many yeast jokes that's how sourdough was created talk about yeast infections a lot of people are saying that what am i supposed to do with this information yeah okay so let's move on because like I don't know it's kind of like a sixth grader would laugh at that and I know you guys are all mature adults and you know like come on we can talk more about
Starting point is 00:14:08 sexual ones because I saved a bunch uh and just to remind people this is not call her daddy um okay I know I always say that I'm like don't get it twisted if I ever mention sex to get insecure I'm like no no don't this isn't I'm not trying to do that okay let's talk about pizza right now Sunday Little Caesars Pizza Hut Domino's and Papa John's all get their mozzarella cheese from the same company so when I saw this I wanted to get political for a second and discuss my opinions about these three establishments because I have a hard time distinguishing which party I want to vote for here Little Caesars Pizza Hut or Domino's like how do you like they're okay I think I can I think I'm gonna make it uh be between pizza and dominoes I recently have well I had pizza
Starting point is 00:15:02 before the pandemic with my co-workers we all got it during a training session it was great right and I'm like why well is it better than dominoes I don't know what do you guys think send me a write a review guys I always try as best as I can to throw you guys in the review section of the apple podcast app i want you to go to the my to my podcast and write a review on what's better pizza hut or dominoes i know the nfl is sponsored by pizza i don't understand like i don't know it's just like funny when like all the commercials and shit it's like these football players have all this pizza hut and shit around them it's like okay we get it sponsored by pizza fuck uh but you know what i ate so much dominoes in college i got
Starting point is 00:15:47 I feel like I gotta, I gotta go with Domino's. Yeah. I'm going to go with Domino's because of their, uh, their sauces are superior. I think to Pizza Hut, their breadstick stuff. Oh, their cheese. Oh my God. Fucking Domino's cheesy bread for president. That's a party I'm voting for. I'm voting for Domino's. Uh, like I said, I had to get political there for a second. I know pizza is a very, uh, widely loved, perfect food. It's one of those foods that even like bullshit Barron's pizza out of the fucking freezer section in Walmart. Walmart is still good. It's pizza. It's like there's you'll eat it if it's if it's presented in front of you. I've got a dog barking outside right now. It's so frustrating. If pizza is presented in front of you, you're not
Starting point is 00:16:35 going to say no. OK, so I thought I'd talk about it because, you know, my inner fat ass is getting prepped and primed for, um, Thanksgiving. And I just, I posted an entire poll, like a six or seven question poll on my Instagram story about Thanksgiving food. I'm just so excited to eat like food. That's not out of my fucking kitchen. Cause I'm bored of my, I'm so bored of my food. Um, okay. So next Uber fact, I love this. I love this Uber fact Sunday. The sloth is the only animal or only mammal that doesn't fart. yo what the fuck hold on let's break this down so they don't fart they're a mammal that they and they don't fart so why
Starting point is 00:17:23 don't they fart they look like they would fart that's what pisses me off about this I'm looking at a picture here of a sloth if I had to pick an animal that would fart the most I would say a sloth what's their diet what do sloths eat eucalyptus shit sloth diet what do sloths eat sloths sloths munch on leaves twigs and buds a low metabolic rate means sloths can survive on relatively little food it takes days for them to process what their other animals okay um do sloths eat their own poop top google search the eating of poop scientifically is referred as coprophagy or coprophagia coprophagia and sloths aren't the only ones doing it rabbits regularly eat their own poop to gain an extra
Starting point is 00:18:17 dose of nutritional value okay dogs do that shit too literally that shit they eat their own shit um i don't know so you guys learned today sloths don't fart next next thing here we got uh oh this one fucked me up okay this is like a science one like hey put on your nerd caps okay so the entire human population would be as large as one sugar cube if there were no space between atoms what did i just read if there weren't space between atoms we'd be the size of a little sugar cube you put in your coffee what the fuck that's insane to think about it doesn't make sense to me because i'm like i know atoms are tiny but like i guess oh no because when you learn about atoms the space between the electrons protons all that shit
Starting point is 00:19:12 when you learn about it you learn how like you i remember making a styrofoam what was my what was my um what one did i have to create like aluminum or some shit and what did I have to make it was I think I had 18 what was this one I got to do what is it called the planetarium chart what is it fucking called it's not called that guys I don't know what is this chemistry chemistry chart I feel dumb right now you guys it's I don't have brain cells right now why can't I remember this shit I need to know what I I have to read you guys by the way the reason I'm doing this episode the way I'm doing it okay I got it I got it it's a periodic table there we go okay uh the reason I'm deciding to do this format or this uber fast
Starting point is 00:20:03 um episode today is because I just want to learn shit I'm spending time with myself right now learning new things and I'm bringing you along and that's what I want to do tonight so I don't know that's why I like this show is it's so fun I just I just love it okay so argon was argon 18 yes it was argon argon atom so yeah so i'm looking at the atom here so there's little balls right that go around the nucleus part the neutron neutrons the protons no the protons and the neutrons are packed together in the middle and the electrons excuse me so the electrons are so far apart from the neutron and like compared to the size if that makes sense and so I guess if you shrunk everything down the fact that we would all fit inside the
Starting point is 00:21:01 space of a sugar cube is so crazy but I guess that makes sense let's read the comments because some people write like yeah the first comment is this makes perfect sense but no sense at all okay if there was no space between atoms there wouldn't the sugar cube be 99.99 percent smaller too it's a paradox my brain hurts next let's do the next fact um okay oh i like this one so female fish fake orgasms to trick males into thinking they've successfully made it then they'll swim off and find a better partner fish fake female fish fake orgasms have you ever faked an orgasm men or women I guess like how does a guy I guess do they can they I can like over dramatize it which is kind of awkward I don't know what's your sex noise
Starting point is 00:22:01 what's that thing it's like the noise you make when the waiter brings your food is your sex noise you're in the spaghetti factory and they roll that fucking cheesy chicken alfredo out in the cart and you're just like that's your sex noise that's my six noise six noise um that's funny female fish fake orgasms then they swim off let's see the god i'm using the comments as the talking points here but fuck it are there streets in the ocean why did someone say that um didn't realize fish are identical to humans uh I can't confirm or deny that I've ever faked an orgasm but I feel like when I was younger I
Starting point is 00:22:51 didn't know like what I didn't know and so I don't know I don't want to get into it I don't again, like, it's awkward talking about sex on here, but I just, I don't know, you, I feel like the older you get, like, the more you fucking understand what you're looking for, okay, when you're having sex, anyways, um, let's find another fact, how are you guys doing, how was your Sunday, uh, anyways, speaking of sex, I'll just read this and move on, an overly active sex drive can be a symptom of rabies can't relate um here's something kind of cool or like interesting so most of the American flags in Disney theme parks are fake they have fewer stars and stripes so Disney doesn't have to follow the flag code and lower them or light them every night because
Starting point is 00:23:48 if they were normal flags at night they'd have to light them up or take them down so that's nuts they have fewer I just feel like I lost my respect for Disney because what the fuck like do it right or don't do it at all don't fly a fake American flag so you don't have to follow the the flag code
Starting point is 00:24:10 that's sus is that what the Gen Z kids would say that's sus yeah that's sus I don't say that I don't know how to say it but I tried my best people are like like people that don't understand respecting the flag in the comments are like you guys love your flag so much it makes no sense are they from like a different country I remember in middle school I had to like part of was this I think it was the vice president of the school and the president
Starting point is 00:24:46 yeah I think this is it so Connor and Lauren out there if you're listening I think we did this every day after school like when the or at the end of the day we would get excused early I believe and we'd have to go out to the flagpole and take the flag down because I was vice president with Lauren and then Connor was the president and I think that was our task our daily thing I'm pretty sure like why am I having a flashback of that right now we had to fold it you know do the triangle thing I learned that in Girl Scouts and then wow that's crazy why did so that's a memory no bullshit I'm you know my 20s I'm 26 that is a memory that has not been unlocked or thought of until I was literally doing it I don't think I remembered that talked about it mentioned it in
Starting point is 00:25:32 high school college like that is what's nuts sometimes on the show that happens I like fucking remember stuff out of nowhere um but wow Disney what the hell um they look awkward too the picture here of the American flags look kind of like they look cartoonish which kind of makes sense for Disney but it's kind of annoying um dude why do I collect so much saliva why do I collect so much saliva um like honestly maybe that's good for being a podcast host so most people when they talk a lot their mouth dries up and I feel like mine goes the opposite direction it just lubricates okay so this one pisses me off single dose of psilocybin the psychedelic compound found in magic mushrooms can reduce depression and anxiety for nearly five years
Starting point is 00:26:19 obviously people shouldn't be just doing shrooms like full-on i think people should microdose i think that should be completely normal and legal and like widely used i know we got we got organ now legalized and shit but um someone in the comments here the war on drugs has held back this kind of research for decades imagine how many people an effective treatment could have helped in that time that's just shame a damn shame yeah the older I get the more I learn about you know like not necessarily drugs but just things in the world that make so much sense that aren't being like like substances I guess I guess drugs yeah but like mushrooms like I don't understand how okay so that statement that
Starting point is 00:27:15 uber fact I guess there's research to back it of course there is there's you know there's an answer for everything but um I mean the statement is literally it can cure depression anxiety for five years that's a little I feel like it that's generalizing or whatever the fuck it's not factoring in um like lifestyle and other things that could happen in the five years after doing mushrooms but i guess it would it would drastically improve did it say what to just drastically improve drastically improve can reduce oh excuse me i like took that way too extreme when i read it it can reduce depression anxiety yeah i'd be down to microdose um I don't think I'm gonna, you know, I'm on meds right now for my depression for the first time
Starting point is 00:28:05 in my life. And I was so against, I was like, I want to do everything natural. I don't want to, you know, but I think I have a low, my serotonin receptors are just not, you know, it's, I believe it's, I guess in my genes, DNA, whatever you want to call it. Cause I think my whole family has that at some point, like certain family members. I'm like, yeah, they seem like they don't produce serotonin at a normal like level. And I think that's me. And I think I've always dealt with it by with depression and low, low self-esteem, all that like low energy stuff with, um, like extremes. Like I usually go on extreme fitness regimens where I get a ton of endorphins in the morning. I like bust ass at the gym really early. I, which is awesome. It's really good for you.
Starting point is 00:28:56 um, you know, I do all the healthy, you know, mind things, uh, meditation, whatever you want to call all that stuff. And it's like, I told this to my therapist. I was like, in order for me to be at a normal level of like, just like, um, mentally just like level, no dips, no nothing. I have to do all these things, which is fine. I'm not like, you know, saying I don't want to ever work out because I have to do that to stop being depressed. But it's really crazy how, uh, this pandemic, like the beginning, I, I couldn't go to the gym, but I was still like, I was sending my family. I was like, I'm doing my workout today. I would send like a sweaty selfie. I was doing it even. I was to the point where no matter how much I worked out, no matter how much I did anything
Starting point is 00:29:51 healthy I was still depressed as fuck it was bad and it was odd it was like nothing I've ever experienced before where I'm like this is not making sense I was all effed up just everything about my health mentally physically it was so wild I was like eating healthy gaining weight like I don't know what happened my body I think it was obviously everything with the world and just nervousness about do I need to move home like anyways but um it's nice now with the medication I will say I've noticed now three months in I know antidepressants are really common so I'm not weird I don't feel weird about talking about this but it's the first time by the way I've ever like again I was so against it but I'm noticing how I'm like always fine like
Starting point is 00:30:39 I don't shit on myself I don't lay in my own thoughts negative self-talk I don't get sad I don't like and I know that's healthy that's part of being a human being but I don't like how my life how earlier this year it was something I felt trapped and now I'm having so much fun by myself and I think the podcast is helping a lot I've done this 80 days now in a row but I do believe that talk therapy whether it's alone but with myself or you know a therapist and family it's like that's the best that's a cure for everything and my brother called me out he's like there's nothing wrong with you you just need friends in a social life you're fine and I'm like no shit I hate that answer but he has a point um and maybe that's what it was in the beginning of
Starting point is 00:31:24 the year I was I was isolated for the longest time I've ever been alone in my life and uh I had no social interaction I went from super social to zero and it was like fucking strange so maybe that's what it was um but I'll say this we're gonna get back to the uber facts just I'm trying tell you about my life because I don't think I've mentioned this before even when I've been the most social like tons of activities adventures you know trips all this shit even in those highs of my life with a lot of people and community and connection I've had some of my lowest lows like I don't know how to explain it I think it like I said I think it's just part of my being like I am not able to produce serotonin like a normal in a normal way and so it's you know
Starting point is 00:32:14 just part of who I am and again I have to do all these things to help balance it out and whatever but I journaled about that a lot in August when I'm like okay putting everything out everything about myself that I want to confront and like work on this year like what is it and that's something I wrote I'm like even when I'm like oh I'm living life this is the best shit ever why am I so why would I have these super deep lows and I don't know what you call that I guess that's something you know if you're a therapist your psychiatrist uh hit me up shoot me a dm I'm fine I feel like there is nothing uh chronically like I have nothing really wrong with me it's just trying to cope with the times and um figuring myself out and I love I honestly love
Starting point is 00:33:04 where I'm at now 11 months into the year where I'm so so content and happy alone like I've never felt this satisfied just in my own presence and I have fun with myself I told you guys the other night I'm just singing songs like love and life uh you know it's a good feeling and I hope everyone can get to that point because I think that's the real test of adulthood is like when you're working on yourself, you're going through your twenties and you're single, especially, I guess, when you're single, I think the goal should be, can you get yourself to the place like I just described where you're so fulfilled in your own company and you aren't in your, you're not in your own company depressed and you need a stimulation from people and activities
Starting point is 00:33:53 to keep you up. I solved that this year for myself. I know how to keep myself happy when I'm by myself now and uh anyways let's go back to an uber fact why'd I that just turned into a mental health talk whatever but I think it's important to mention because it's relevant to what I what was the fact yeah I think we just talked about Disneyland flags what the fuck uh that turned into a mental health discussion somehow okay so this is cute seahorses and seahorses are monogamous and mate for life this is so cute they hold each other's tails when they travel so they don't drift
Starting point is 00:34:32 apart there's a picture and they're like they're little curly tails or holding hands that's so cute that's what i love about animals like birds where i where i grew up there's a ton of um snow geese swans the swans especially are cool to watch because they land in the fields around my mom's house and it's so cool because you'll see two white ones and you'll see little brown babies and there's clearly two parents that have made it for life and their children it is so cool i am obsessed with that in in uh in in animals like when they because not all animals are like that but that's so cute seahorses like they're in the fucking ocean doing that shit they're so tiny that's why I'm like getting weird you know this year tiktok and fucking social media posts I've
Starting point is 00:35:22 seen about it's a simulation or you know here's this is manifestation reincarnation 5d reality fucking multi-dimensional uh time travel like people are spitting out random shit I don't understand and something that's been coming up and something I keep thinking about is how especially when I watch chimp videos and monkey videos like something about it makes me think yeah that's a human that's a reincarnated human or something going on there where there's a or like these little seahorses I'm like there's something about animals and I'm like I feel like that's reincarnation I don't really know I can't really just put my finger on it but their mannerisms or behavior the whole mating for life thing it's like weird and it's so
Starting point is 00:36:12 I don't know I there's something going on you can't describe or explain and you can't either so don't you like sometimes I laugh at science I'm just like it's it can if you watch people explain science and they're so convinced by what they're saying they're just like this is this is the reason for this I'm like you don't actually know this is all it's a bunch of theories you're putting together you're making it's mathematical you're trying to make you're trying to make you know puzzle pieces fit information fit and I and I totally understand like I you can't I'm not saying science isn't real or anything I'm just saying that it's crazy sometimes where I'm like we still don't actually know anything like we really fucking don't strip everything away all
Starting point is 00:37:00 the knowledge everything like it's all made up I love that idea about life and like our like experience in our day-to-day like reality because looking around I'm like yep this is a like six by five foot mirror in front of me and it's only that size because at some point we decided that this is a foot and you know like that's what is weird about measurements to me it's like we made that up it makes sense for us and how our world works but it's wild it's so wild okay I don't want to again I don't want to dive too deep and get weird but uh this is cute both humans and dogs dogs experience a boost of oxytocin uh the bonding hormone when they look into each other's eyes there's a picture of a golden retriever and his owner it's so cute
Starting point is 00:37:56 both humans and dogs experience a boost of oxytocin when they look into I remember that okay this is so depressing let me just talk about when my buddy died we had to put buddy down my golden retriever he was 13 I was a junior in high school and I used to hold his face like I used to I don't know what it is like you know when you pet your dog uh you know I'd scratch his ears and like hold his face while I'm like scratching his ears that type of thing and I did it for the last time on the day we had to put him down and I stared at his eyes for so long and I was saying by and it was so depressing and um a little backstory on that he had he was a golden retriever he had like i think he had lymphoma his uh neck was super swollen with like tumors he had a few
Starting point is 00:38:45 tumors on his body too and a lot of older dogs get him um it got really bad where he couldn't really eat his food and swallow and we had to mash it up and we had to like make it he needed a fucking feeding tube okay this dog it couldn't do it on do it on his own it was really sad his back leg stopped working and I remember it was a unanimous decision like we all knew we needed to put him down it was like we're all on the same page but for whatever reason I was the last person to confirm that it was okay and I don't know how this happened I don't really remember the scenario but I was in science class in junior in my junior year of high school and a feeling came over my body. Like, you know, my, my family, cause we had to fucking, what was my phone back then? I think
Starting point is 00:39:31 I had the like LG Voyager, like clap back to the iPhone. I had the touchscreen on the outside. You flip it open as a keyboard, that phone. I think I had like a group, do we have group texts back then? I don't remember, but I remember I texted my dad. I said, um, like, it's okay if you put buddy down today like I'm gonna be okay like today's fine do it today like I don't know why I'm pretty I don't know who else like my sister she didn't have to say anything my brother like they were fine with it I think they were more chill with it than I was I think I was handling it the worst that's probably why my family was like waiting for me to be okay with it and uh I remember I sent the text and immediately just started crying in science class I told the
Starting point is 00:40:13 teacher I was like I gotta go home my dog's getting put down like I gotta leave and I drove home pretty sure what was my car was that in a truck my dad hauled buddy away in the truck did I drive the truck in high school or is that what car did I have I don't know whatever I'm like trying to like give you guys details but I drove home I went to her back like laundry room where his bed was and he was sitting in the corner and I was just like in the kitchen with my parents talking about it and they're like yep you know it's time and you know this is this is part of life he had an amazing life you're telling stories about him and shit and yeah I walked back there took my time with him probably for a good hour honestly I was sitting there for a long time
Starting point is 00:40:58 because my dad took him into the vet from home and I just stared at his eyes so this is back I'm reading this because the uber fact is that when you look into your dog's eyes you both experience oxytocin that bonds you to your dog which is a really cute fact but anyway so I remember I just like specifically remember holding his face for so long and I remember petting his foot for the last time why am I getting emotional this is not that kind of podcast um I'm a dude I don't cry I'm a guy boys don't cry bad bitches don't cry what am I saying I feel I feel embarrassed why I'm embarrassed it's my golden retriever that fucking died okay this is if this is me doing a episode 80 I'm crying took me 80 episodes fucking cry okay let me hold my shit together so he had
Starting point is 00:41:42 like six pins in his legs because he got when he was a puppy got uh hit by a car and his whole leg got reconstructed so I remember uh sitting back there I was like petting his leg for the last time because that was a leg that was all like jacked up with like a bunch of bumps all over it from the pins and I was like oh I'm never gonna feel this leg again and it was really sad so said my goodbyes and then my dad drove him in came back i remember i was so i was so freaked out so we dug a grave for him in our backyard and um i think my dad pre-dug the grave wait did he do that i think that was going on like for a week before we put him down like we knew we were going to put him down but he my dad had a whole grave ready to go pretty sure he dug that he my dad i
Starting point is 00:42:26 just remember growing up he was always digging deep holes in the ground like we had it twice we put a trampoline in the ground when we moved to our different houses like we had a trampoline growing up in my first house second house we had a trampoline in the ground my parents were like freaked out by us falling off no we're not having one of those uh I don't know why we didn't get those nets that go around them like we just dug it and they it looks nice like I think it looks kind of tacky if you have a trampoline just chilling in your yard it's not the cutest looking thing so my parents put uh dug my dad he like dug holes so many holes and then we build our pump house for our pool he like dug a big ditch by himself like my brother you know
Starting point is 00:43:09 this is so fucking random we used to build bunkers in our in our pastures we like dig to like play in and we put wood over it and hide with our like guns and my brother's like army guns and shit um so yeah anyways back to the buddy story my dog getting put down my dad drove him in brought him back and I knew I was like oh wait he's literally in a garbage bag in the back of the truck like that's how he like I don't think I saw it or did I go look no I didn't look at him dead I think I kind of quickly peered over and saw the bag the black garbage bag I'm like this is so fucked up it's so fucked up like two seconds ago I was petting him he's gone forever you're about to put him in a hole life is so weird like I hate I feel like
Starting point is 00:43:59 losing a pet is the most hard thing to go through and especially because I think that was the first loss where it was like whoa this is a family member this is someone that's in my house like my whole life we had that my dog buddy was you know 13 so I grew up with him and anyways i'm emotional tonight i should i should finish telling my chicken stories from yesterday's episode raisin chickens i had fun talking about that okay so the next fact and that's another thing i haven't i haven't thought about buddy in a while we had buddy then we had two other retrievers we had charlie and champ and i those dogs one of them ran away the other one i don't know what happened we sold them i think because they were
Starting point is 00:44:44 it was a fucked up situation that's all i want to say i think i've told the story before um oh speaking of dogs dog owners tend to live longer and have healthier hearts according to researchers at a solid university in sweden okay i love studies like that because it's like how do you prove that like I guess if you had a sample of people that died and you're like well did they own a dog and then I don't how do you it seems like an obvious thing but I don't know that's I'm here for it that's a cool fact um let's do a couple more and then I'm going to button this up oh back to the food topic so and I can confirm this so there are more Indian restaurants in London than in Mumbai and Delhi combined is it Mumbai Mumbai that's in India yeah
Starting point is 00:45:42 Delhi and Mumbai combined so when I was dating so my ex from England Northern England or whatever the fuck uh I'm just like this fucking guy no not really it's not like that but I remember him teaching me or telling me that the national dish in England is, uh, curry. And I'm like, what the fuck? But then it made sense. Cause I'm like, these, these bitches eat curry a lot. Like we order curry. And I was like, I've never had curry before. And then when you go to London, like when my mom and aunts came and visit me after school over there, I remember we went out to Indian food and it's this whole production like it reminds me of I guess how sushi is here in San Diego like or you know there's tons of taco places but I don't know it's like a production there's
Starting point is 00:46:35 just like a shit ton of sides and there's like lamb wrapped in tinfoil and fucking naan and all this sauce and shit and and there's so many restaurants like everywhere you go in London I feel like there's a whole area of Indian restaurants but that's crazy there's more in London there are more restaurant Indian restaurants in London than Mumbai and Delhi combined and those got those populations how big are those cities Mumbai population because I think if I remember right London has about 8 million people holy okay so Mumbai has 18.4 million people that was in 2011 city in india and then delhi population 19 million this is crazy so they just don't have a lot of indian restaurants well here's the thing people
Starting point is 00:47:31 in india don't need indian restaurants it's like that's just what they eat that's like us putting up a bunch of peanut butter and jelly shops like no we're american like we just fucking oh that's a weird example but it's not like they so london population is like i'm pretty sure it's like eight million eight yeah now it's 8.9 um or london excuse me did i say london yeah so i guess that makes sense because it's not like the people in india aren't like popping up their own cuisine everywhere i guess we do that here though with hamburger joints and like american gastropubs and shit like I love I fucking love a gastropub there's always like fish tacos on the menu you get your burgers with all the fucking blue cheese dangling out of it curly onion ring shit there's
Starting point is 00:48:24 always a flatbread you don't really eat pizza at a gastropub it's like a flatbread tons of craft beer shit how many facts do I have left let's see this is a fun day I like this episode um let's see oh i kind of like this this is helpful so using your non-dominant hand for mundane tasks like eating cereal opening doors etc can improve your self-control learning to regular learning to regulate impulsive responses is no different than learning a new skill and small exercises can help tame levels of aggression so if you do regular shit with your opposite hand it'll improve your self-control I like that I just picked up my LaCroix with my left hand I felt I felt successful that made me feel proud of myself that made me feel like I'm
Starting point is 00:49:21 working towards a new goal that made me feel like I'm challenging myself I like that I used to do that a lot in high school and I play basketball I would purposely do everything left-handed to work on my other dribbling hand because I'm right-handed and because that was advised like you know, try to use your other hand for shit and you'll get used to dribbling or get better dribbling with it. So that's a good, I don't know, but that's the type of thing where I'm learning about building new habits or how I do with new habits. And so far I tacked on daily podcasting to my life out of nowhere, out of the blue. I'm like, fuck it. Fuck it. I'm doing a podcast 70s week uh and I for I really forced that I feel like at first I was like I'm doing this bitch I'm
Starting point is 00:50:09 doing it no going back no inhibitions I was excited to do I wanted to do I love doing it I still love like 80 days in I'm still obsessed I can't shut the fuck up about how much I love podcasting but now I'm realizing how you know I tacked on yoga a few weeks ago and how I've been consistent for about three weeks now I'm like okay what else do I want to do I can start doing shit left-handed. You know, it's easy, but you have to keep it on the front of your mind. You can't, and you can't do too many at once. Like I think in the past I would get, I told you this, I've always been interested in everything, committed to nothing, half pregnant on 10 things. You know, I never had my one thing I could go hard on that would make me fulfilled
Starting point is 00:50:53 and proud of myself and accomplished and felt feeling accomplished every day. And I finally hit the nail on the head with podcasting that's my that's my thing and I guess for goals and little skills you want to develop you have to take it one thing at a time and do it methodically to the point where it's so autonomous where you don't even think about it that and then do another skill like I that's how I have to do it I have to go snail paste because for example this is a dumb example I'm looking at my LaCroix let's say from here on out forever and ever and ever I want to drink LaCroix's left-handed that's it like no more right-handed drink of my or any beverage that would make more sense any drinks I pick up with my left hand so it would have to get to the
Starting point is 00:51:41 point where I don't even like like accidentally grab it with my right hand I just always take it with my left hand stupid example again but before I go into another habit that I want to build because I look around at my daily daily life and I think well I'm on autopilot when I wake up and that's why I created my morning routine I'm like okay I immediately make my bed brush my teeth like wash myself like either a shower if I'm not gonna work out or I uh wash my face do skincare coffee machine on like I do everything it's so oh opening all my windows going out and seeing fresh air like I don't even think about it and so honestly tonight podcasting felt like that I walked over my laptop I grabbed my headset I'm like yep episode 80 it's so it's not
Starting point is 00:52:31 I think it's gonna take 10,000 episodes 40 40 fucking years until I get until this is like breathing I joked so much the beginning I'm like podcast is the closest I'll ever feel to flying but I still believe like that statement and what and believe in what I said because I'm listening to my soul speak I'm listening to my truths come out I'm listening to everything uh I'm working all my stuff out god damn I'm burping stuff this fucking McCroy collecting too much saliva I hate the sound of my voice right now because I'm kind of tired I just I don't know I shouldn't say that but I sound cuter in the morning when it's nighttime I'm like
Starting point is 00:53:17 uh but yeah podcasting is pretty much just like the best thing ever uh okay let's see if I have one more fact um oh yeah okay so this is interesting the less people know the more they think they know this is called the Dunning-Kruger effect I've heard of that before it's um the whole like people who know the least say the most shit fucking me on my show i'm saying the most i'm here seven days a week and i don't know shit and i was thinking about that when i read it i'm like a lot of people in the comments are like they're saying literally every u.s citizen or a bunch of trump ones like this is donald trump they think they know the less people know the more they think they know so someone was blasting Joe Rogan there they were
Starting point is 00:54:13 saying like he knows a little about a lot of things and so people think like he sounds smart because he talks about so many like he has so many different brains on his podcast and topics that he talks about so people are someone I think this isn't like a tiktok comment thread there there are people going hard like anti like people that were not into him i was like the fuck uh they're like he knows a lot or a little about a lot of things and i'm like that's not a negative thing why is that something negative like what's so are you it's as if those people are saying it's better if he was a pro at just like his one thing is obviously fighting ufc shit like he could go hard on that topic forever you know he could talk about what's his other shit um you could argue
Starting point is 00:55:11 like hunting stuff I guess I don't know but it doesn't make someone not like you're he's still smart just because it's a bunch of things like he's got a a library full of books it's not a library with one book in it if that I don't know so sometimes so back to the thing I said about hey I'm here seven days a week I talk a lot of rant I talk literally every day is just a just a barf session of whatever comes to mind I never shut up but I instead of judging that about myself like I don't really have a certain topic that I'm super well versed on I feel really confident talking about all of the details and the history and the dynamics of because I really don't in fact I felt like I felt like an uneducated dumb fuck
Starting point is 00:56:01 honest to god for a long time I feel like this zombied out social media addicted adult who doesn't know what the fuck is going on in the world for so long because I am sitting on my I'm sitting on my phone looking at funny shit I'm watching funny shit on my tv i'm like doing my hobbies that are you know i'm a girl i wake up a lot of my days like i'm doing my hair i'm doing my makeup i'm putting on my outfit i'm like you kid i'm taking selfies i'm fucking like i'm not sitting reading quantum mechanics quantum fucking physics shit i don't know everything about that and i don't know it's not like my life goal to become like super smart like a superhuman smart about one thing or like know the details and like everything about taxes
Starting point is 00:56:52 everything about the government everything about the environmental protection fucking age i don't even know like it overwhelms me i have said this so many times and i think this is why podcasts appeal to me is as a curious person i love watching other people dive deep into topics I love observing that I love sitting back and being entertained by that I don't personally want to be one of those people in the conversation who's got a PhD you know 20 years of research you know all that under my belt who knows everything about that one topic they've devoted their entire life to I don't necessarily want to be that person I want to be I want to be the spectator I want to sit back and and watch the show because I love learning shit I love uh like
Starting point is 00:57:48 I said observing those conversations that's why I love podcasts but I don't feel bad about myself that I'm not as smart about one thing like those people that's not a negative to me in fact you could argue that some people can't do what I'm doing and that's like well they would be like hey I couldn't hold it together for an hour every day and do a podcast there's something here I can do that's special to me and it's not like a better than thing it's just a different skill it's a different um you know waste of my time I guess everything if you look at it it's like how are you gonna waste your time you have one life what are you gonna do with it I want to sit on a headset every day I want to talk like that's me that's it um anyways someone dm me by the way so I got it
Starting point is 00:58:36 this is, we're done with the facts, what was my last fact, I don't remember, oh, was it about people that know the Dunning-Kruger effect, people that don't know a lot, but they think they do, something like that, anyways, that's the last fact, but I got a DM that was, like, let me find it, he said, my life autobiography, wait, fuck, let me find it, I love when you guys I like honest to god get so entertained by the shit you guys tell me he's like first of all first dm was you're the kind of gal which I'm not a fan of that gal is makes me feel like an old like gal is what okay this is so fucked up I just envision gals are in the casino playing slot machines drinking smoking cigarettes on a scooter because they are so fat
Starting point is 00:59:32 obese bitches on scooters I'm sorry okay I grew up whenever I go to the casino with my grandpa to the buffet because sometimes he'd take me there for lunch there's always the people that are just morbidly obese playing slot machines drinking cigs and like that's what I like those are gals those are gals to me I don't like the word gal it freaks me out um hey I'm all for it you know different there's all takes all kinds to make this world I appreciate I support I love those people there's nothing against them but but that's what my brain thinks when I read that so anyways he goes you're the kind of gal who would have fun playing with plastic cups and please take that
Starting point is 01:00:15 as a compliment and I'm like what do you fucking mean by that like I'd be entertained by plastic cups I'm like well beer pong or fucking flip cup like I'd be playing with the cups like okay I was like does that mean I'm I said easily entertained question mark and he's like no more like innocently charming so I'm like how does me being easily entertained with or excuse me how does me having fun playing with plastic cups make me innocently charming I'm not fucking two years old I know I act like that sometimes I have this piece of me that's still like a little like I don't know I act so immature sometimes like my aura I know is so immature like like the other day I fucking I took a picture and I'm like Jacqueline you look like you're getting ready to go out in the snow
Starting point is 01:01:10 and you're wearing this like big coat and you're just like a five-year-old your mom just put your code on it's too big for you like I felt like that I still feel young and innocent or whatever the fuck he said but then he said um why do I get the feeling that your autobiography will be a best-selling drama slash comedy why did I say I was gonna read this dn there's a reason for it uh I mean I just don't like have that vision for myself writing an autobiography but being a best-selling author it's not my journey okay but I didn't know I feel like here's what the podcast has done for me or it's helped me realize that as I've told my life story every day just like adding to the
Starting point is 01:02:05 pile of my life story it's like is this turning into a dramatic like you said dramatic comedy you're like fucking it's like my life is pretty I have some funny shit to talk about I'll say that and I laugh like I'm laughing at shit all the time my goat getting hit by a truck in front of me and like you know all the weird my dad making me kill my grasshopper like there's some funny shit that's happened in my life what else I could tell you so many stories about my dad doing funny shit um whatever my mom like that my grandpa having to come shoot the fucking dog because my my mom's german shepherd is trying to kill her horse like these are all traumatic animal stories they're funny as fuck i'm just bringing the animals to the car i'm thinking of animal stuff
Starting point is 01:02:52 right now but these stories are pretty fucking funny like you could write a movie about this shit or like certain you could write a whole scene about what i've witnessed and experienced as a kid and um it's like funny and dramatic at the same time I feel like that's true about my life and that's what the show every day I'm like unpacking I'm sitting with myself I'm thinking about I'm like yep my mom I mean she doesn't she hates to hear hear me say this I'm like yeah mom you used to call me the drama queen I used to get called drama queen I used to get called oh the little diva I know those are things like parents now would be like never never call your kids like never label them like that that's gonna be built in or embedded into their subconscious for their
Starting point is 01:03:39 whole life and then when they're 40 they're gonna have this fucking aneurysm because they they can't I don't know like live with live with themselves or except I don't even know what I'm but I haven't I don't I I think I'm maybe starting to see myself how other people see me if that makes sense or I never believed what people said like when because I've always struggled I mentioned this earlier with depression and shit I've dealt with this year like in all my life to be honest I'd say since fucking fucking middle school I've just constantly been in the dumps like, my whole life, I haven't, my life has not been sunshines and rainbows, I've always had low moments, high highs, low lows, you know, whatever, what's, but not to the point where, I guess, is
Starting point is 01:04:30 that called, like, manic, or, like, I don't, when I say high highs, like, I mean normal life, like, I'm happy, I'm smiling, I'm a normal kid, and then the low lows are, like, okay, some shit went down the family, you know, lost an animal. Kids bullied me in school. I'm pretty, like, my trauma is pretty, I'd say, normal. Like, it's not, it's not dark and, and, like, terrible. But my, my life has been this, but, so what I, where I was, so I've dealt with, like, a low, so this is what I was going back to with people saying, oh, you're like this, or oh, Jacqueline, you're like, you know. So whenever someone tells you who you are, like you should believe them because they're, well, I've heard, is that a quote? I don't know if that's an accurate thing to say.
Starting point is 01:05:21 Basically, the compliments, yeah, that's what it is. So I've struggled with seeing myself when people are complimentary, I don't see it. That goes from, that's everything from, oh, Jacqueline, you're so funny. And I'm like, I downplay it. I'm like, uh, fucking no, I'm not. I don't think so. Like what? I'm, I'm weird as shit. I don't fit in. I have no friends. Like I get, I get, I go immediately go to, I suck. Like I'm, I'm so hard on myself about it. If they compliment me that way, I don't know how to like take that compliment. Someone teach me how to take that compliment. I don't fucking know how to do it.
Starting point is 01:06:05 What do I say? Like, yeah, I am. Cause I don't want to be a narcissist. Like, yeah, I'm funny as fuck like no um and the other thing is like oh you're so pretty or oh like i'm why am i making that sound negative but i'm always like well you don't understand what i see in the mirror like i have this dysmorphic view of who i am visually i feel like most people have in some way like everyone sees you like or no there's there's information out there that's like everything from you think you're like 20 more attractive than what other people think you are and then there's facts that are like if you saw yourself out in public you wouldn't even recognize yourself there's weird facts like again these are all random who the fuck knows how it's
Starting point is 01:06:47 um like how this information is like how studied or whatever or confirmed but um yeah when people compliment my looks i'm like i always you know i'm very i've gotten like pretty good at that accepting that I'm like thank you you know I'm pretty good at that but um I think when I was younger a lot more insecure about my body and how I looked and everything I would it would like freak me the fuck out I'm like no I look like a fat piece of shit like fuck you why would you are you trying to be nice are you trying are you actually like thinking I'm fat like I think I am like are you you know I would be like a little bit skeptical and I'd be like paranoid about what they're saying I'm like you're just trying to be nice because I know I look like shit
Starting point is 01:07:32 anyways that's like a typical thing I don't know I love the best thing about getting older is you just like stop thinking about yourself so much and like I stop obsessing over bullshit like I used to like oh I feel fat today I'm like literally I have never been this comfortable my body and I've gained weight this year but I've never been this like confident and just like owning my shit it feels so good to own your shit I'm like this is what I should have I wish I had this confidence in high school like you know whatever anyways but I this this this actually went place today I'm not mad at this episode I'm not mad at this episode oh I'm watching a story right now segue of my cousin washing dishes and she's eating the sponge or soap I can't wait to like see her
Starting point is 01:08:22 I met her one time she's like absolutely perfect there's nothing wrong there she's so cute every like her hair her little face her cheeks I just I it's guys I need a kid I need I'm at that point I need a fucking kid someone wife me up let's have kids let's have some dogs let's have a family like Jesus Christ like what's the point of life what am I doing why am I doing this podcast seven days week I should be mothering children anyways I'm excited to see her because it's like just for the like selfishly just so I can be like if this was my kid right now like how would I deal right now like am I do I like this am I like freaked out by this you know because some women I know aren't very motherly before they have a kid they're not they're not the woman who when they see a baby
Starting point is 01:09:10 they're like oh let me hold it or like I want to go you know play with the baby like they don't that doesn't come naturally to them. And I feel like for me, it always has, like, it's always my, I'm always inclined to like pinch their toes or just go like, I can stare at the baby and like, like, like if I'm at target and there's, there's a baby stroller that goes by, I'm like the one stopping. I mean, not like that, but do you, you know what I mean? I used to babysit or excuse me in uh for a whole year uh I got to help the teacher that was the preschool teacher in my school and I think it was eighth grade and I was the assistant so I played with a bunch of two and three year olds or three no three and four year olds for a year and it was just like
Starting point is 01:09:55 I didn't hate it I think some middle schoolers would be like fuck this shit I hate kids these kids are screaming they're crazy they're biting me they're fucking getting crayons all over their shit like I was into it so anyways I don't want to put pressure on myself I know people are like oh I'm 30 I'm 30 I'm single and I have no kids and that's okay there's all these like positive like memes out there like that that are like but okay can I say this I'm so supportive of that by the way I don't give a fuck like who cares honest to god it's your life like I'm not saying anything negative about that, but I'll say this. I feel like a lot of people come to social media and especially like wellness, self-help, positivity, like mental health, body positivity, all this
Starting point is 01:10:50 shit. People bring, they volunteer information to the internet and the people that are following their pages. They're like, but no one, it's basically they're projecting, like no one is saying this about them they're saying it to themselves and they're like trying to rebuttal it like for example the one that's like I'm single I'm 30 I don't have kids and that's okay like no one said it wasn't okay you don't like that about yourself you don't think it's okay so you have to create a story that society thinks and society says you're supposed to have kids and be married at 30 and like you shouldn't be single you've made that a negative thing because you've believed a story that says society puts out on a pedestal and says that's the way if you're
Starting point is 01:11:34 a woman and I'm just sitting back going did someone like hurt you like did someone go hard at you and say that's wrong because I I see that a lot of social media people are volunteering like a rebuttal to some sort of negative uh stereotyping or negative shit and I I just don't get I'm like it would be like me here's an example it'd be like me coming on the show and being like just because I do a podcast 70s a week doesn't mean I'm batshit crazy like it it like Jacqueline no one's saying that no one's even fucking telling you that but you're coming on here and you're you're projecting what what is it called you're trying to justify yourself that's what it is people are up on they're on their they're on their profiles they're
Starting point is 01:12:26 justifying they're trying to you know get their point across about themselves so people accept them it's like that's a way that's literally a way people are like someone loves me I'm just trying to be loved i want people to accept me and and you know i would i wouldn't it's just i feel like it's unnecessary bullshit people to get hung up on i'm 30 i'm single i have no kids and it's okay why are you making a meme about that where are you oh because we have to normalize everything we have to make everything this uh dramatic like we got it's like it's literally like let's have a slumber party about every topic that's uh against the norm you know like I'm a little bit fat my my stomach rolls like this so let's make an entire popular culture on Instagram and social
Starting point is 01:13:16 media about uh body positivity and fat rolls are normal like who gives a like why do we have to make everything a thing if no one's like I don't know I think it's positive again it's like okay that's probably helping a shit ton of people out there to see but I'll never forget I love the shit Christina on uh your mom's house uh Tom Seger and his wife fucking they like their models skinny and I love how they talk about this they're like no no no I don't like going to the mall and seeing a fat mannequin no I want my model I like my model skinny I like them attractive I don't like that alternative shit. I fuck with that. Honest to God. I'm like, it's like, there's nothing wrong with that. It's like baseball players hit the ball with a bat. Okay. That's
Starting point is 01:14:09 how they play the game. Okay. There's not a, well, the bat should be square. You know, it's like, why are we trying to change shit? That doesn't mean it's like, I don't know. people are like well it's not inclusive there's fat people what about them it's like well I don't know I have a lot of opinions about body positivity I think it's a bunch of bullshit like like people that are like I'm talking morbidly obese I understand if you're plus 40 pounds and you're like you know loving your curves I get that like okay I'm at that point in my life now where I'm like I've I'm curvier than I've ever been I'm gaining you know I gained weight this year and I'm like I'm embracing that I feel like a woman whatever but
Starting point is 01:14:52 when it gets to the 400 pounds 600 like you are like there's that's we got a food addiction happening we got something going on there that's not I don't believe it shouldn't be normalized I don't know I just feel like health should be the goal a normal BMI should be the goal it should be the praise it should be like the that's an example of health it's not a any size and i know there's arguments like people have the best heart uh best blood work you know their heart rate's fine everything's in blood pressure all this shit's fine if they get tested they're you know obese there's no the doctors that but i don't know then i factor in well what's your lifestyle like how mobile are you i know okay i see a lot of fat yoga videos on instagram cool are you is
Starting point is 01:15:41 your goal to just get fatter like what's your goal because do you really like yourself are you because I think it's a lot of back I said I don't know why this podcast went here uh I was asked questions like that like what are it's fake as fuck to me I'm like no one and I've mentioned this before I'm like no woman you can't show me a woman out there who doesn't want to look hot as fuck in a bikini on the beach and I'm not saying hot as fuck in a bikini on a beach 400 pounds I'm saying and if they believe that that's crazy to me and maybe someone out there explain that psychology where you're like all right you know every time I get up I gotta lift my stomach to stand like if that's sexy to you if you're so excited about that someone please explain that
Starting point is 01:16:26 to me in my go to my dms I want to have a conversation about I'm totally down for conversation about I'm open to like hearing that perspective because I just don't understand it And I don't go, oh, society says that you should be lean and tan on the beach in a bikini. You know, that's the ideal thing. Like, I want that because society says I'm like, no, because I'm a person, I'm a human being. And literally, it's built in our DNA and how we perceive other humans out there as a like an attractive, healthy, like it has to do with reproduction, mating, like you see someone
Starting point is 01:17:05 and you're like oh are they like can I fuck them are they like healthy do I want to pass my genes to them like it's part of being a human being to see a lean body and be like that's health that is normal I'm attracted to that versus you get a little bit kind of uncomfortable at least I do if I'm like they look they're if I'm like if I'm behind someone at Walmart going up some stairs somewhere like wherever like I don't know at a courthouse where I'm literally thinking of a courthouse in my mom's like back home like why am I thinking of a staircase it's like the first thing that came to mind and you see their legs rubbing together super bad and their pants don't even really fit I'm like you feel uncomfortable you feel bad for them you're like what's going on
Starting point is 01:17:58 here and so that's why back to the reason I'm ranting about this is the whole my perspective about. I mentioned because of Christina and Tom saying, I like my models thin. I like them attractive. I don't need this, you know, fat mannequin alternative beauty shit. Um, they have a point. I believe that I'm just like, there's no, Oh, and I mentioned like, we don't need to change up. What's I don't know, uh, promoting. I just think the obesity, fat positivity, that stuff is very confusing to me. And so again, someone please explain the psychology of it because I'd like to go to the root I'd like to go to um why you know why are you why don't your pants like why are you so huge like that's I look at it like cancer it's like a but you're literally
Starting point is 01:18:46 it's a it's like a you're wearing it on your body you have a disease that's a it's your I don't know I've seen guys this is because I've seen I listened to a lot of podcasts back in college and I listened to a lot of dietitian health fitness stuff so this is surfacing so that's why I got passionate and I started talking about that right now because I've heard a lot about it and I've had I've been able to kind of like curate or whatever my perspective on what is the word I've I know what I think like I've I'm so I'm not super set in my ways but I have an opinion about it that I'm pretty set with. And, um, it's, it's very interesting to me because, um, you know, even at one point I'm like, I could do the nutritionist thing. I
Starting point is 01:19:33 could do the health thing. I could do, um, food science. I don't know. I'm into it. But anyways, where was this podcast? What did this podcast start out as? I don't know. I have so much fun doing this. I can, I can't shut up. I can't shut the fuck up. Um, anyways, I'm gonna end it here I think that was enough I'm a little bit burnt out of my vocal cords are like Jacqueline it's Sunday night shut the fuck up it's Sunday night take a break bitch why do you do this seven days a week it's not like that you know I've been cutting back on the swearing I will say this there's a very popular podcast out there I'm not going to drop names I'm not going to say anything about who what where when why male host female host whatever but there is so much filler fuck
Starting point is 01:20:17 words like it's I want the best for them I want them to be successful and I want them to be self-aware how do they not and I know this person this host is very passionate about her fuck I just dropped her her career and I'm like why aren't you are you not aware that this is a lot of filler and it's distracting from the content I couldn't get through five minutes today I was like so excited to listen to the episode I'm like holy holy fuck I'll say the I'll say the F word I'll just you know be a hypocrite but I don't want to be a major like swearer um I just catch myself I'm like well I'm the content I talk about can get tacky sometimes so like the last thing I want to do is add a bunch of bad words on top of that to really make it sound tacky
Starting point is 01:21:12 anyways this is my Sunday episode episode 80 uh I can't wait tomorrow guys we're on video so let me update you guys on this week I'm on YouTube Monday through Wednesday and that's it I think I'm gonna call it I'm gonna go home for the winter go hibernate with my family for a month and I'm not gonna do video I'm gonna do audio only you're gonna get me audio for the whole month of December because I want to be with family. I want to stay, you know, in the moment as much as possible. I don't want to be setting up a big production every day. It doesn't take a lot, but just understand that I've been consistent with this for 80 days now. And I've been on YouTube five days a week for two months now. So that's, I'm so stoked about that. I love,
Starting point is 01:22:04 I love recording the video podcast but when I go home I might be doing uh vlog content like I might I just want to make a vlog honest to god of like when I'm not intense where I'm documenting all the family gatherings like just out and about showing you my land where I'm from like fucking you know little bits here and there of my trip home because I'll be there for a month so I'll enough time to passively make content and take video uh so I think I'll do that and then um that's it so audio only month of December you guys are gonna you're gonna get so I fly out on Thanksgiving you're gonna get a short and sweet Thanksgiving cast so I can have a happy holidays with my family and then we'll have interviews then we'll have family we'll have
