Hey guys, happy Monday. It's episode 88. Welcome back to the show.
hello what's up it's jacqueline happy monday what's going on out there
um I'm pretending like I have this energy that I actually don't have right now because it's
currently 9 15 p.m my mom's in bed I feel like I should be whispering because she's asleep
and I'm out in the kitchen and she can probably hear me and I should be courteous but
anyways look this can be a short and sweet episode pretend I just picked up the phone
and checked in with you and had to give you and I uh a laundry list of my day this could be an
audio vlog talking about my Monday let's see it's the last day of November holy shit November 30th
Hope you had a great day. I just watched the Seahawks game with my mom and, uh, she went to
bed. I'm like, gosh, should I still get a podcast? If you're new and you're confused, like Jacqueline,
just don't do a show today. I do it seven days a week. Okay. This is my, this is my hobby. This
is my love. This is my passion. I feel like I'm flying. I love being on a microphone. Uh,
I'm doing this for a year straight. Just get with the program, go over to the Apple podcast app.
if you're new and subscribe to the show. You can watch, I do video podcasts over on YouTube.
You can go there. And if you want to support the show, everyone that supports the show gets a
shout out and they go over to patreon.com slash TJMS to see all my exclusive Patreon only content.
And like I said, they get a shout out, which is fun for me to do at the end of each show.
So there, now we're all on the same page. Let's talk about my day. Short and sweet. Let me set
the stage right now. Like I said, I'm in my mom's kitchen. I'm at her new glass table that I picked
out and unfortunately has a few chips in it. She has to get a replacement. So I'm sitting at this
glass table. There's a bouquet of daisies in front of me. There's a bunch of binders with paperwork
and shit from my mom's job. My two, my sister's old, like 2007 MacBook and mine, they're the old
white ones are sent out on the counter. I was trying to hack into them and look at old pictures
today and I couldn't get through. Um, anyways, I'm in my kitchen. We got a compost bin that needs
to go out. It's probably going to stink up this bitch when I'm podcasting because the lid's
currently off of it. My mom, for whatever reason, I'm not really sure why pulled out like every
bottle of vitamins from her vitamin cabinet. They're just sitting on the counter. I don't
know if she's doing an inventory of them, but actually are they empty? Are these, no, they're
not empty. Yeah, let's see. What up? We got a pan. My mom cooked some chicken tonight. It's
sitting out. I don't know. There's a poinsettia out in the corner with a little Santa Claus
figurine. Now you're in the room with me. I just set the stage. Pretend like we're FaceTiming or
something. I don't know. This is audio only. I'm drinking water because, you know, I'm a healthy
bitch now. Post Thanksgiving, I'm a healthy bitch. I've never felt like such a fat piece of shit in
my life. Being with my mom and my sister hanging out for four days was like a fucking just pig out
fat fuss, which I love. I love to do it and I feel fine, but I just, uh, that's a lie. That's a lie.
I feel disgusting. Today's Monday. Diet starts Monday. I'm like, Jesus Christ. I didn't even
get hungry till like 7 PM today. I don't know. So quick update on my day. Oh, I was going to tell
you about my outfit. I'm wearing my yoga pants, uh, from Amazon. They're like $30. They're dupes
for the lululemon um align pants which are my favorite ones I bought like four of these for
the price of one pair of lululemon pants and I wear them like every day as because the thing
about lululemon pants is I conserve them like I don't want to ruin them and wear them out quickly
so I don't know I'm like OCD with my pants I'm wearing my mom's wool socks the house is cold
the shit. Let's see. I got a double XL Hanes. I know it's an XL Hanes black hoodie. Then I have
my giant sheep. It looks like a giant black sheep is riding on my back right now. It's that shape
and size minus the legs and the head. It's basically a big sheepskin coat on top of the
hoodie. The headphones are tucked in under my hood. I look like shit. You know, I should take
a selfie and memorize this moment and document this moment. Like what the fuck is my life?
Usually when I go home at this time of day, I'd be watching TV, scrolling social media,
but it was, it was like, uh, shit. I want to do that, but wait, I got episode 88 to still record.
Here we are. I still haven't talked about my day. Is the scene set good enough? Are you guys
on the same page as me right now I don't know let's get into it so guys I'm realizing how
cool my mom is um and how inspiring she is she's literally David Goggins with a vagina
I fucking wake up to my mom 6 a.m. she lied I asked what time was she said it was 6 15 it was
6 a.m. she opens the door she's like Jack Jack aren't you going walking with me Jack and I was
like oh like I was so tired I had you know um a beverage the night before I was kind of like
I don't know I was up late I don't know I was just like are you kidding me I have to roll out
of bed and go she's like prepped ready to go ready to walk she does a big walk in the morning as the
sun rises it's her thing and I think I offended her I offended her because I was like I just need
mom I need like an hour I need to make coffee I need to wake up I need to brush my teeth I need
to like get up before I go jump out on the streets to do a walk so I was just like Jesus Christ my
mom has so much like get up and go energy and she's like four times my age she's not she's what
double I don't know uh I love my mom and I'm just like I need to get after it so tomorrow the reason
why I want to do this short and sweet is tomorrow we're walking I said I'd set an alarm and wake up
and like do it but come to find out back to my mom that was how my morning started I let her walk
and I woke up I did yoga instead just like slowly with coffee like I always do I've continued that
habit here at home um I come to find out later my mom's at 5 30 we're watching the Seahawks game
she's looking like she's about ready to pass out she's so tired and she's like Jack I don't know
I think I need to go to bed in like 30 minutes at 6 p.m mom's trying to go to bed at 6 p.m
and I'm like what's up she's like Jacqueline I've been up since I've been up since uh three
like 3 30 or some shit my mom went on a walk she woke me up at six right
she had been out on her rowing machine at four in the morning her apple watch she told me that
that night or tonight when she looked or when she looked tired she's like yeah my whoop strap said
I started rowing at 359 so she rode for a fucking hour then went on a god a fucking four mile I'm
swearing sorry mom a four mile walk and I'm asleep do the math like what the hell I told you David
Goggins with a vagina I'm inspired so tomorrow morning like I said we're gonna walk um let's
see she I did yoga I drank coffee slowly you know woke up my turtle pace and uh showered I took a
cold shower I love showers here in Washington I don't know if I can get my pipes turned down in
San Diego the temperature or some shit because it is literally like the cold the the water
temperature is like an ice bath cold uh texture of the water fucking this temperature of the water
My mom's shower is so cold. So when I take a cold shower, it feels like I'm doing an ice bath,
like a polar dip. I love it. So did yoga, coffee. My mom's on the walk, shower, got ready. Cause we
went into her office and worked all day. It was a really productive work day. I hate going to
details. Like, let me tell you my fit. Let's see. My fit is exactly what I'm wearing now. Yoke pants,
black hoodie wore my uh just like white nikes and my fucking hair in a bun rolled into no makeup
rolled in my mom's office uh zit on my chin from all the fucking chocolate we ate last night we
finished a box of seized candy that was probably like in a in a
a non like psychopath chocolate loving household like us it probably would have lasted until
Christmas but that's not the kind of women we are we fucking finished that last night got a zit on
my chin rolled in my mom's office looking like a train wreck but uh I love it you know I sat in
her office all day oh oh time out talk I gotta hype my mom up right now so that's my fit my mom
is like heels dress makeup hair like jewelry she had the most sparkly beautiful jewelry like
earrings on today a little purse like everything's fucking perfect with her and she pulled that off
in like the same amount of time I put my sweatpants on and my sweat my hoodie I need to get my shit
together my mom's gonna want me into shape so because I'm so lackadaisical about 2020 this has
been my comfier my sweatpants here and my mom's really making me feel ashamed of myself but um
yo that's so like I'm a millennial I wear a hoodie I have acne
it's on brand okay uh but okay fucking we go to our office we work all day I took I took the
initiative what the hell am I trying to say trying to keep this short and sweet how are you guys
doing this is episode boring I don't care I just got to get this out 88 tune in if you want to hear
a daily update of my life that's a pretty regular day with my mom so I took the I took initiative
today with my finances with details things I've been like trying to like discover no just solve
resolve figure out I put my entire like I redid all of my like spreadsheets and shit got everything
tight and right and made a bunch of phone calls and shit. I just sat at my mom's office. I was a
little boss babe. She was helping me with stuff and I took care of business. And then let's see,
I, Oh yeah, this is like a fun podcast behind the scenes piece of info. I went over to my
YouTube channel and I re redid my banner. So it says resuming January, 2021, because it said
new podcast every day. And it's like, okay, bitch, if someone comes on your profile and like,
looks at your YouTube page and sees new podcasts every day. And the last podcast was like a week
ago when I stopped doing video until January, you know, the whole thing. Um, I just fixed that,
did a little, a little, you know, hack job on that. Then I worked, got a bunch of work done.
I did, I front loaded or whatever the fuck. I did a shit ton of work yesterday so that today I had,
um a bunch of emails messages shit to send so I had like a ton of I like created my I created a
bunch of work for my Monday if that makes sense by doing half of it yesterday so I did that talked
to my dad on the phone for like an hour um what else then we oh shit then we my mom got a call
she's having her bathroom like remodeled and shit so she got a phone call from I think his name is
Juan there's a Juan or is it Pablo or Jose I think it's fuck I think it's Juan I'm pretty
sure it's Juan he called her was going to be at the house for a couple hours so anyways we sat
there and um uh by the way this is a I don't know should I say this I showed my mom all my finances
for like the first time ever today and she was like I don't know what she had to think about it
but I've never done that I've always been like private keep it to myself like does because I
was trying to show her um like because I've been investing this year I've been trying to show her
like what I've been up to with that and I kind of I showed her that kind of stuff and she was like
oh you know like just I don't know sometimes I'm like when I live in another state and my mom has
zero she like doesn't the only thing which is switching over in January to me is the phone
bill like I pay for everything except she takes care of the family phone bill but I feel like I
needed to prove to her that I'm not fucked and I'm like okay but I don't know like I feel like
now that she knows everything I feel I don't know how to feel like do you guys talk to your parents
about your finances are you like super transparent about it because that was a huge deal to me like
I just kind of said fuck it I was in the middle of doing my spreadsheets and getting everything
figured out and crunching numbers and shit I'm like why do I why am I hung up on showing her
this like who gives a fuck it's like I'm her daughter and she's you know good for advice
and consultation about things for financial stuff um so she helped me with a few things actually
which is nice see I did that anyways Juan called he was doing some work and my mom's like okay I
want to like just like kill time before we go home so we don't get you know we don't ambush
Like we're not there because it's loud and obnoxious. So we went on a drive. Let's see,
where did we start? We drove, what was the first errand? We had to go to the bank. We went to the
bank. Someone nearly rear-ended. She's, you know, in a new Porsche. So she's like really worried
about, you know, cars getting close to it. There's this big ass like Ford behind us in the bank line.
She's like, okay, this guy's getting a little, like it's, he looks like he's about to hit us.
and it was this funny she's like my mom is so funny just her little the shit she says when I'm
in the passenger seat and like her commentary about when we pass a house and she knows who
lives there or like this person's office or she like has all the hot gossip about the town it's
like the best so we went there and then we took a long drive to um her property she takes care of
like I don't know it's like we took a long scenic route a bunch of back roads out in farmland
that I haven't seen in a while so like we took a long route did that I saw my aunt's house
um that I haven't seen before uh fucking I don't know we like took another long back road home by
a bunch of like kind of where uh there's like the what's the word you know how Washington has
the San Juan Islands there's these like it's not the river it's like the fucking estuary no
I don't know it's like the salt water coming into the mainland and kind of trickles in
like there's islands I don't know so you like drove along that I saw a bunch of ducks and like
geese or no ducks and swans and a bunch of cows and the river like she took me by the old river
we would go fishing out with my grandpa like we just took a very scenic route home which is fun
and by the time we showed up Juan was gone and we ended up uh I took a nap my mom was pan frying
some she like pounded the fuck out of some chicken breasts and she like fried up like not fried I
don't know how she did it it was so good she like made chicken 4 p.m while I was taking a nap
for she like prepped it for dinner she like breaded I think with panko panko breading and
like pounded it out um it smelled so good I woke up to the smell of like frying chicken it was so
nice and I woke up from my nap did yoga for an hour my same flow I've been doing for like the
last three weeks feel amazing feel strong feel like I don't know I'm obsessed with yoga you
guys all know that I need to like wrap this I feel like this is dragging on uh I gotta get to
bed in 30 minutes because I gotta wake up at six so what's up um Jacqueline be self-disciplined
do this podcast in the morning. What are you doing this at night for? I'm trying to do sexy
time with Jack. I'm trying to be, I'm trying to be like, how can I be like, imagine we're on a
phone call at night, you know, like that's what this show is right now. Just embrace it. Have fun
with it. I don't know. Um, but honestly I need to get to bed soon. Did yoga, um, a lady in a
Shavasana, which is like where you lay on your back at the end for like 10 minutes. Felt amazing.
like saw the universe saw like I don't know I just like whenever I do that after a flow it's
kind of intense you just like release everything you're just like meditating I don't know I don't
get super into it or overthink it but it feels some type of way that I can't really put into
words it's like you transport to a zen like you're just so at peace it's really cool so
um woke up ate some food watched the Seahawks game with my mom she was uh just like cruising
social media and every time I tried to like get her attention she wasn't there and was kind of
like wow this was like to have a social media addicted parent I haven't been around her in a
year you know she's like she's in deep you know and it was kind of frustrating and I think she
was purposely ignoring me because I was trying to be cute I was like what how can I get her
attention so i was like trying to do cute stuff and she was not having it she's like jacqueline
i don't know why you're like acting like a little kid i'm like i don't fucking get your attention
i'd scream at the tv while the seahawks are playing i'd like do anything and she's sitting
there scrolling social media i'm abused my mom doesn't give me attention
i'm kidding by the way she was like tired as shit she actually i told her i was trying to
coach her i was like mom you need to stay up she you don't don't go to bed at 6 p.m because
like you need to while I'm home if you want to get up and do things on the same schedule like
I'm not going to start waking up at four in the fucking morning I was like I was like mom you
gotta like push yourself tonight stay up a little later watch the Seahawks game with me
so you don't have you know you don't wake up so early and I don't know she was uh like we
finished the game I think she went to bed like at eight I'm worried for her that's kind of late
for her but um tomorrow like I said we're gonna walk and do another work day I liked working at
her office it was fun just like being in an office instead of my apartment to work there's something
about that so I told her I said starting in January I want to find a little like coffee shop
or a little location out of my apartment that I can work um that gets me around people and gets
me out of the apartment because I just felt more productive today I felt like I don't know I just
felt more sophisticated I was like you know yeah I was in sweatpants with the zit on my chin but
like I don't know it just felt like I was because you know I had my mom there too and she's like
inspiring as fuck I'm like seeing her just do all this work shit like goddamn I'm not even close to
that and like my mom's got a whole career under her belt she's just a boss babe makes it happen
looks hot like she's literally in fucking heels this morning on a Monday she works like there's
no one in her office and like just me and that's inspiring I need to get my shit together so
that's all I have for the show today my mom was like Jaclyn can you just make it 10 minutes like
it's okay your listeners will understand like you need sleep you need to like you don't have to make
it long and I'm like yeah but I feel like I I don't know like I can't just slack off like that
10 minutes seems like a middle finger to you guys. Um, try to think of other shit real quick.
I don't know. We just have like, here's what I'll say. Cause let me reflect on being home.
I got a lot of questions. I did a Q and a yesterday and there was questions about Washington
being home and my biggest, like so far on what am I on day five and home now from San Diego.
I feel like my biggest realization is, like, family is everything, absolutely, 100%.
I've always, like, that has been my number one priority my entire life.
It will never change.
Family first.
Family is everything.
And I feel like I need to make trips home way more often.
This is, like, the best thing ever.
I feel, like, I just feel whole.
I feel calm.
I feel like love and like just the presence even if my mom was sitting there neglecting me
scrolling social media during the Seahawks game like even though that was going on I felt just
her warmth the warmth and the just her being in the room the presence of my mom makes me feel so
whole and happy so I definitely need to make trips home more often like I've told you guys before
on a normal year that's not fucking fucking pandemic mode uh I'm home like I'd say three
or four times, which makes me feel like, I like, I don't know. It's like perfect, but going an
entire year has kind of fucked me up. I just feel so distant. I don't know. Um, so that's my big
takeaway. Another thing that's weird is like noticing new things being built or houses gone
or shit on fire. That's getting like all these remodels, new homes, people moving and seeing
like the wide open space is weird because I'm in a city right so the only time I look out at a
horizon that's like super far in the distance is when I go to the beach and look at the ocean
um is that a poem what the fuck but it's so different when I'm like looking outside my mom's
house it's just farmland it's like big fields for all like all around there's like mountains
everywhere you look it's so pretty here and like we're in our when we are on our scenic drive
around today after we went we were at the office I was like staring out and I'm like this is so
beautiful holy shit but there's never so real quick before I end this there isn't something
in me though that's like yeah I need to come back and move here permanently and be here all the time
it's not it's not that feeling it's more like a deep appreciation for where I come from
a love of this place a warm and fuzzy feeling that I'm home and I'm in gratitude that I can
always visit this and um you know the beauty everything but there isn't anything like I still
have this butterfly feeling my stomach like I know I'm gonna be sad to leave in a month but
when I'm back in San Diego I know I'm gonna have this adrenaline uh like excitement first day of
school butterflies about being back in San Diego back to my place like with the energy and the
enthusiasm about the new year and continuing my momentum and chugging along doing my own thing
independent from Washington and my family there's something about that that I thrive in
uh I just work that way I think some people might be better off around family constantly close to
home and I don't know I just I I figured it out as long as I can travel and come home like
frequently because it's such a it's a like a two and a half hour flight I think it's short
and um as long as I can do that and see them often like it makes sense like my life makes sense to
be based in San Diego with this is home and yeah anyways that's my little reflection my little
audio diary dear journal dear to your diary Washington ain't it it's not my it's not my
resting place for now but like I love it I just love it here there's maybe you can relate to this
there's nothing like being an adult struggling on your own or just like out doing your shit
there's nothing like the feeling of laying on your mom's couch or whatever your dad or whoever
like whatever home is to you and just being there doing nothing and just like hanging out it's like
I can't put it into words it's like the most content feeling ever I don't know it's like
the most I love it I just I don't need to do anything I just need like when I was napping
today I'm like I feel so safe I feel so happy I'm like this is fucking living right here this
what life's all about. Family, home, uh, naps for sure. I don't know. Does that make sense?
It's a holidays. I'm feeling warm and fuzzy. I'm tired of shit, dude. Okay. So I'm going to
end this. Thanks for listening today. Episode 88. Welcome back to the show. Shit. Okay. It's all
over patreon.com slash TJMS. If you want to support the show, it sounds sad when I said that

and Patreon members get access to my exclusive content, which, oh my God, how cool is that?
Um, also you can subscribe and leave a review on the Apple podcast app app to help me out.
I'm just desperate at this point, dude.
It's going, we're going into a year or two of a global, global, global.
a global pandemic i don't think this bitch is ending anytime soon okay i'll be optimistic i
feel like by july the kinks will work out hopefully a vaccine will roll out it'll be
not as dramatic and hopefully shit won't be shut down like i just want to go to a fucking concert
please i need to get like once the clubs open back up i feel like that'll be the like measuring
stick of where we're we're at as a society as a pandemic um ridden culture what the fuck am I
saying that'll like be a sign if we're allowed to maskless rub against each other uh drunk
in the club vibes oh my god get the sentence out Jacqueline you can do it you guys get what I mean
if we're allowed to do that maskless and without social distancing that is the just that is the
deciding um the panda that is the cell that is the indication the pandemic is over and we can
just like fucking go back to normal life i don't know fuck does that make sense it makes sense in
my head because like clubs are disgusting people are so close and sweaty and exchanging fluids and
like, I don't know. It just, that, that made sense in my head, but going into year two of the
pandemic, I'm desperate. Okay. So please support the show over on Patreon and leave a review on
Apple podcast app. This is like, I'm on the pillow. My head's on the pillow. Eyes are shutting. I'm
