What's up, guys? Happy Friday. It's episode 99. Welcome back to the show.
hey what's up it's Jacqueline happy Friday how's it going out there
uh i don't know what to say right now i'm just staring across the living room with my sister
and it's friday night we have champagne in hand and i'm like julie do you want to be
background commentary this is julia say hi hi everyone my name is julia
we tried to start this like 20 times every time we started she like we couldn't stop laughing so
this is my sister she's a year older than me and she's here tonight we're both home for the
holidays. And she'll be on the show tomorrow for episode 100, but I'm trying to warm her up. So
we're going to just talk about our day and she'll make commentary on shit because she's funny and
like, I don't know. So first off, if you're new, this is my daily audio diary. I'm here seven days
a week. Go ahead and subscribe on the Apple podcast app, leave a review and head over to
patreon.com slash TJMS if you want to support the show. All right, let's get into it. Oh,
let me just say if you're if you're a patron every Friday shout you out on the show you're
part of my credits and you get access to my exclusive Patreon only content now let's get
into it all right so Julie what time do you wake up this morning um I woke up at 7 30 I got to
sleep in how many hours did you sleep let me check my whoop yeah she does it too we're on the whoop
strap gang I got nine hours I got 11 hours and six minutes of sleep I got a lot of REM sleep
last how many hours I got two three hours and 49 minutes I don't think I've ever had three hours
of REM and I had five hours of light sleep two hours of deep sleep boring um so she woke up at
7 30 you worked out I did some some fasted cardio coffee a lot of coffee I watched survivor on
Netflix what time did you do that on when I was doing the elliptical and if you remember the
moving story the elliptical is now in the garage we had moved that I've talked about that fucking
elliptical that we had to move out of my aunt's house downstairs upstairs into a u-haul unpacking
it it's like a whole thing so she was riding that this morning I was still asleep but I woke up to
the dishes done that I had to use the day before and I'm like okay okay because I'm Cinderella and
I do all the dishes and the cleaning she just does it and Jacqueline doesn't uh I'm just I'm
taking advantage of my sister currently and her new OCD organization clean cleaning uh I guess
personality trait that's not something I'm used to I've never I haven't lived with you since college
so they know if you've listened to the episode i don't know how long ago about the farmhouse we
lived in together i think that was the last time we lived together together yeah and then now after
we're out of the house and off you know i'm in san diego she's doing her thing we only really
see each other for a few days a week on a holiday you know like christmas or thanksgiving so we've
been together the longest since probably college right now it's kind of fun anyway so yeah she did
the dishes and I drank coffee and what did I do I have like a whole list here we like listed shit
out because I don't think I can remember off the top of my head well I did a lot of cleaning I
actually cleaned carpets today yeah I mean we basically go ahead talk about I basically cleaned
carpets like a professional carpet cleaner my mom should pay me when she gets back into town
um I got all these Christmas decorations up in the house for mom I cleaned up just everything
we tidied up I have a note here I wrote tidying the house because we basically took because we
hadn't finished fully unpacking and moving everything everything has been like throughout
the house in corners stashed and so we had like hauled a dresser outside I lifted a rug over my
shoulders and like heave that into the garage she tidied a bunch she cleaned the carpets like she
it was like a cleaning warning it basically looked like an episode of tlc's hoarders okay
and then we got our lives together yeah then we had our eggs and toast i had eggs i had avocado
toast she ate the fuck she excuse me she doesn't want me to swear tonight she ate the last half of
the avocado and i walked that was the first thing i walked into i was like and i went to the kitchen
to eat and i was like i want i want avocado toast and i'm staring at her she's like it's all gone
i'm like god damn it so i had basil pesto on toast with two eggs it was so good um guys today
was like a weird day don't you think i mean i just i basically was a cinderella cleaner all day
yeah and got the house in order for mom cleaned her carpets with a cleaner
I gotta say something go for it okay so I'm home now two weeks right and I've talked about the
doom and the gloom here in Washington how for the first time what is today Friday yeah so Monday it
started to get to me just after like a week being here but it's such a weird quiet serene vibe in
this house like right now it is absolutely silent where we live so when I'm home like today I'll
just cut to the chase we'll talk about this you know it's further down the itinerary or whatever
the date the time stamps of today but I napped for two hours in peace and I felt so calm and safe
and zen and I'm like there's no noise out here where we live it's so nice it's like cold out
I don't know it's like doing something to me I feel less productive I feel less and I know I'm
at home in mom's house on vacation kind of but I know today was one of those weird like I just
want to be lazy and just like lay around days and my sister's out fucking cleaning the carpets
I mean it had to be done and no one else was gonna do it what was the stain
something probably Robert spilled and didn't clean up probably some spaghetti sauce probably
at least her couches aren't white anymore yeah that was a catastrophe catastrophe what else
oh then we went to oh and then i decided oh yeah go into it that i wanted to get my hair extensions
back in but with covid i didn't know how i was going to do that with hair salons and such being
what they are do you have depression no are you depressed depression depression no i am not
depressed um and so I you called them what you called Sally's oh well okay so I have tape and
extensions I haven't had them in my hair for almost a year but I had them all nicely put away
because they're very expensive and I didn't want to ruin them so I called Sally's beauty supply
to see if they had the tape and they did so I told Jacqueline we're going to Sally's you made
sure they had the inventory they had the back stock yeah they had the back stock they had enough
inventory you know because I ain't gonna drive there if they don't have it yeah so Jacqueline
and I got on our slippers and her sweatpants and we drove to Sally's and I told Jacqueline
if she came with me she could get Starbucks little do I know she was priming me well little
does she know she was also going to be hired to put the extensions in so she's like really sweet
this morning she's like jacqueline do you want to like go to town with me i have to go to sally's
and i i want to get starbucks do you want to come with and i was like uh like i just felt like i
don't know i just want to take a nap at like 10 a.m uh so i was like fuck it i'll just put my
slippers on and go so i went with her and she's super nice to me the whole time and i buy you
starbucks she bought me let me tell my order sure you can tell your order so i got this is my order
right now it's a triple blonde shot on ice in a grande cup with salted cold foam boom every time
i order it or i'd say 80 of the time the barista hands it to me they're like oh my gosh this is
such a great idea that sounds so good because i like um you know how people drink cold brew or
nitro from Starbucks I just like the shots on ice like that like crazy espresso taste
so I do that and then the salted cold foam on top it like gets in there and so it turns into
like a creamer but anyways she likes she likes shots on ice so that could be vodka shots on ice
there you go that could be whiskey shots on ice they know about that they know about that that
was last night we're doing champagne shots on ice what's the champagne talk about it well hang on
Let's go back to the hair.
You got to tell them your Starbucks order.
Well, mine was a little out of ordinary today.
You don't have to shame yourself.
It's okay.
I'm going to shame myself because normally I just get like black coffee with nothing in it.
Because I'm, you know, a very sad person.
But today I was like, you know what?
Send it.
Full send.
I'm going to get the peppermint mocha frappuccino with like extra whipped cream.
I was really feeling it.
That's like you on a band trip in middle school.
Yeah.
At the mall.
At the lunch break time.
it was just all out today and but the worst part about it was the gal the gal at starbucks
it's like dude we're waiting for them to give jacqueline's bougie order that nobody can ever
get right because it's so confusing they get it right every time well but it's always a cluster
and so we're waiting and this gal is just like making small talk read the room lady she couldn't
read she could not read the room and I was just probably giving her the worst resting face ever
but it was obnoxious she like didn't understand that it was too much socialization for a fucking
pass off oh and then coffee she starts coughing oh and I'm like really yeah I just said COVID-19
like immediately I said it out loud loud that was after we were driving in the parking lot
and Jacqueline sees these two people hugging in the parking lot rolls down my window and screams
I don't even know what you said your grandma's gonna die and I I immediately get embarrassed
and I roll up the window and lock put child lock on her side I uh Julie's my she's like a second
parent with my mom here I'm like the child of the house right now with the three of us
but the lady she coughed and she goes oh excuse me sorry i just swallowed my own saliva i'm like
too much information tmi uh actually that's called coronavirus um thanks for killing my
grandma when i go see her next time anyway so we got starbucks then we went home then i got the
hair wait did i not when did when did i you you came home and took like i think a 30 minute nap
while i prepped all the hair and the tape laid it out on the table then i coerced you to come out
and i told you i would pay you 50 you didn't tell me this until after well i really i made you feel
kind of bad and then by the the good of your soul can we just be honest right now can i be honest
with my listeners right now yeah okay i work remote i work remote when you work remote you
can get your shit done whenever you whenever you please really like there isn't a nine to five
clock in at the office clock out drive back home so I've been on it I feel like ever since I got
here with my job being productive you know the last stop moving your mic sorry I put your hand
down now I'm parenting you sit down here sit on your hands anyways today was like a weekend I
called Friday and I think I called yesterday kind of a wash day I feel like the last few days were
like a weekend vibe where I didn't really do any shit for my job which I'm not proud about
uh I don't know if that's gonna get me fired but look I've been going hard every other day except
yesterday and today and today I literally like I'll jump to it we'd not I not for two hours after
I did a 30 minute nap before I did her hair extensions and I don't know I was just kind of
like I don't know it was a weird day it was a weird day but you came in talk about it and I
said we're gonna watch a YouTube video and you're gonna put these hair extensions in
and you were a little angry at first and then you started doing it and then i said okay i'm
gonna venmo you 50 then i perked up and then she perked up and and then they started getting a
little more professional and i have to say that you did a very good job so kudos i'm good with
my hands um i like i like i like handy tasks i like little jacqueline's really good though with
anything in the beauty industry she's good at hair makeup nails anything she should be like a
esthetician or something a dermatologist I'm a professional catfish it's my you know well
cheers cheers I'm kidding uh no my hair looks great it does it's curled right now because
you curled it um so that let's talk about the tape tape and hair extensions so this is this
is the scene like I said I haven't lived with my sister since college I don't know her personality
or like her habits or her mannerisms as well as I used to all I know is I wake up for my 30 minute
power nap I think it was like 11 a.m like I slept nine hours this makes zero sense first of all I
had a whole pot of coffee this morning and then while we were tidying up the house half a pot
probably then we then we go to Starbucks as I as soon as I come home from Starbucks I had chugged
my entire drink I take a 30-minute nap this makes no sense I wake up and I'm tired of shit I walk
out there and I look at the table okay this is the scene okay think of a dining room table
and around the perimeter there are about two inch wide by one foot long strands of brown
hair strategically like placed on top of a yellow sticky note around the perimeter
in different like shades of color length size whatever the fuck and then my sister's there
with a youtube video pulled up and some surgical tape next to her and she's like okay so it's
oh wait time out best part she got out a piece of paper drew a little circle like a like a head
and she drew a diagram of where i'm gonna place the fucking hair extensions like a little pair
she's like this is the what did you call the pattern yeah that i want you to follow
we didn't discuss this i knew she got hair extensions this morning you know when she
brought me to get coffee like i knew that was the thing no i got tape i had the extensions whatever
okay but i knew that was the thing but i didn't realize oh jacqueline you're gonna be putting
these on at some point today so i just saw that and i'm like this is not i'm not used to this
orderly i don't think you were very chaotic before or like not organized but that was like
on another fucking level i'm very type a and and clearly my line of work
i think it's created a little bit even more like organization and compulsive disorders i i mean ocd
yeah but and apparently i'm very good at sweet talking because man you you didn't i mean you
were a little mad but then when i said i'm gonna pay you i wasn't mad i was just like are you
fucking kidding me i saw the hair on the table and i'm like i have to do all this this is gonna
take two hours but it didn't take that long no we only use about a fourth of it anyways
yeah she had enough hair oh and then i i was like julie do you know where this hair comes from
we didn't want to get into that can i google it for the no we're not no to scare you right now
to know so you know what's on your head no and where it comes from absolutely not i want to say
it's dead people from china i feel like that's where it comes from they like wash the hair and
ship it over to places where they make hair extensions or if it's not dead people it's like
um uh i don't know i feel like it's dead people it's not animal hair well no kidding i think it's
dead people from china i'm not gonna comment okay so i did her hair we listened to country it was
great i had fun i like learned no we listen to ariana grande yeah we listen ariana grande ariana
sorry is it ariana shout out ariana
wait what else i have my list to refer to because i'm like out of it here uh
yeah and it was probably like what an hour if that you did it really fast again ladies and
gentlemen she did a great professional job yeah at one point i wanted to go to beauty school
because i didn't want to go to college and uh parents didn't go for that but i was good with
my hair shit i used to do all my hair oh my god talk about it let's talk about it remember when
you bleached your hair and it was awful orange it was orange it was terrible do you remember that
dude i was influenced by fucking chloe kardashian's ombre what do we talk about the f word julia come
on i'm 26 i'm 27 okay it it comes and goes it comes and goes first 20 episodes is flying every
two seconds okay we need to get better about you know what listen i got influenced by chloe
fucking kardashian who had an ombre where the top is brown and then it goes out to like lighter on
the ends and like l'oreal or revlon all these you know hair you can buy like the hair uh dye at the
grocery store those brand brands came out with ombre kits so I went Safeway oh god I think I'm
in community college living at home with my parents and uh I bought it was like $13.99 I got
like two boxes of it I think it was called like frosted tips not frosted tips it was like something
ombre whatever the fuck and I did it and honestly it looked like shit but
but i learned about toner so i went to sally's beauty supply the same store we went to today
and i learned about toning so then you get like a toner that kind of makes it less orange but
at the end of the day it looked like shit it looked and i looked like shit i think i looked
my worst my freshman year of college no no when did i look my worst now i'm not gonna comment she
wants to say now no jacqueline looks great not that picture she's glowing that picture she took
of me today on the couch eating my salad is uh maybe i'll put that on patreon.com slash tjms
you guys can get access to this obese picture of jacqueline on the couch eating a fucking salad
jacqueline i think you look great it's all the it's all the lighting and the angles girl
it's it's called portrait mode on the iphone it looks i look like shit holla i feel like you know
what you guys all know about my life this year i just feel like i'm on the upswing and i'm really
motivated to just like take excellent care of myself and glow up and finish this year strong
and uh i struggled with shit like body image shit and i'd say like first year of college but
high school the most but ever since then i'm like flying with it i don't give a fuck i'm like i love
myself can i look great i think a lot of people but there's nothing worse than feeling blonde and
fat or being a blonde a fat blonde and i'm not a fat blonde i can't call myself fat that's
offensive to people that are they have a bmi of like 92 but but listen like i'm not fat i shouldn't
say that I should not but I did gain weight this year shout out depression shout out uh
sedentary lifestyle shout out COVID-19 COVID-19 shout out COVID uh but I'm like it's it's a
slippery slope with me I get so like I'm on my grind right now I'm on my grind and I know Julia
she's gonna whip my ass in the morning get me doing her cardio thing we're gonna turn over
tomorrow and elliptical our shit out and here's the thing though I I think everyone struggles with
like body image issues even I've struggled with them contrary to what a lot of people think
um I remember in high school somebody told me I was wearing a jean skirt do you remember when
jean skirts are in style yeah yeah I think it was like an American Eagle or Hollister
yeah jean skirt and I probably had like some ridiculous like polo on top with one of those
American Eagle or Hollister zip-ups that had like the logo on it oh yeah it was pretty awful
and and I remember actually I remember who told me this but I will not I'm not going to disclose
who it was um out of respect but my freshman year in high school was it a girl no it's a guy
he told me my legs Eric no he told me my legs are huge and I should never show them again
and i after that was so self-conscious of my legs that i didn't you didn't wear a skirt again
yeah no i never wore that but you were a tiny ass swimsuit on swim team and track you were
track shorts and i used to get yelled at think about how those okay that's sad it is sad so
Well, dad called me fat at one point.
What I'm telling you, Jacqueline, is, like, what you're saying is something everybody can relate to.
Yeah.
But I don't want to, like, okay, here's the thing about my podcast.
This is not the.
We're going to talk about struggles females go through and self-improvement and wellness and mental health and body image and diet and wellness and workouts and fitness.
I avoid that, like, the plague.
Like, it's not interesting.
it's overblown i don't think i think what you pay attention to manifest and i think a lot of women
on the internet bond over all these like pity party struggles they have and it's like dude boss
up you know how to get yourself in shape you know how you know what works for you as far as like
what you eat that makes you feel good and look good so just do that and stop talking about it
a lot of things are gimmicks i get really tired of gimmicks i get tired of people that have
certifications that should not have certifications um if anyone uh listening knows me i have zero
certifications and I probably more qualified than the people that have those pieces of paper in
their hands well can you talk it just really chaps my ass yes I haven't heard that term in a while
well it really just that's what I would say my ass grinds my gears now tell people a little bit
about your fitness background because I think I know we're gonna go mom wants us to stick it
stick on a topic more on the podcast she wants me to do that so we're gonna cut we're gonna go
into it talk about yourself right now yeah just talk about your fitness background I mean I don't
I don't know what there is to talk about I like to work out your workouts but you're like work
you're uh like modeling shit I do not model well that's kind of what it is to me like it's posing
or whatever so I don't know how to boil it down but okay so you you know like we grew up super
active like all three of us Robert you and I super active um did sports growing up did swim team
track um I was a cheerleader in high school um you're gonna take the rest of that no I'm
distracting her I'm drinking she's distracting me she's taking the champagne I don't have water
close by so it's an option and then in college I walked on the rowing team and I was I rode in
was a coxswain and then um I always from I think 12 years old lifted weights yeah well crossfit
crossfit that's how that's how I would say that's how I really got my start into lifting weights
um Jacqueline you and I were super strong in high school Jacqueline okay let me just tell
your listeners my sister was stronger than me at one time and it used to really piss me off
in high school we could both squat over 200 pounds and that was a big deal I squatted the first max
I think you did like 210 205 whatever two plate or I did two plates well that's 225 no I think it
was 205 well my sister was so strong in high school she put me to shame which anyone that
knows me now is like what your sister was stronger than you yes she was stronger than me made me
really really mad um freshman year that was freshman yeah my sister like can I tell the story
the iron club story sure okay I think I this is a flashback I haven't thought about this
literally since high school but so freshman year I'm in weight training which is a elective like
PE class and there's a thing called an index where they average I think your squat your bench
and your clean yeah and your body weight and your body weight there's calculation they do and then
you get a number well I don't know how long that iron club had been around it was all over the
walls in the weight room apparently coach Schweikert football coach who was the he was the
she's rolling her eyes. Well, he was extremely sexist and he didn't like, uh, strong females
in his weight room. And my sister and I, and I think there were maybe a couple other females
were strong and he liked me. He was sexist. Okay. So regardless, I saw that all over the walls and
I'm like, well, how do I make that list? And then next thing I know I'm squatting 205 and benching
135 I think I did like a 45 pound plate right yeah that's 135 I got that and then I cleaned
I think I cleaned I don't know how much anyways so I got I was the first girl apparently to make
the iron club at that high school I don't know I don't know how long it excuse me I'm like sorry
I don't know how long it hold on podcast host uh technical difficulties with her esophagus
okay i don't know how long the iron club was around but it seemed like something that's been
around a while so it was like holy shit i'm the first girl i remember coming out of class or like
the end of the day where we all congregated after after in the hallway no out in the middle of like
the courtyard yeah and i came out and i remember like all the boys i thought were cute that had
girlfriends like do you remember cody which cody there's probably cody in the weight class we were
in together you'll know who i'm talking about he came out he's like oh girl that's so cool like
you're such a badass you're the first girl like everyone was coming up to me like high-fiving me
and i'm like i didn't realize it even happened or it was a big deal i got a t-shirt but i still
have an iron club t-shirt literally went downhill from there i didn't fucking care about weight
lifting or any shit like i just wanted to become a beach goddess yogi fucking insta girl from then
on out from there on out but Jacqueline like you have the potential she has potential okay
like my sister probably could be stronger than me and I like sincerely mean that and I'm pretty
strong but my goals aesthetically with my body are not your goals and I don't want to be like
it's just different like you want to be strong and I'm like I want to be as limber and lean and long
is fucking possible and that's why I I just like have a love hate with lifting because I talked to
them at the beginning of in uh September when the gym you know when I was going back to it I was
doing heavy lifting and I'm like here I go again legs blowing up can't fit in my fucking pants
feeling too fucking bulky all the time and I don't like I love the feeling of lifting heavy shit but
at the end of the day I don't I like being tiny as like as possible you know I hate to break it
to you but in our genetics I don't think it's possible I think we have but I can be lean I
can't know I have curves but I can be leaner and not so like muscle bound anyways I don't know why
we went on that what did we start out that topic with you wanted to know my sports and then oh
yeah but you did um body building competition yeah I've dabbled in it a little bit but you
went to Vegas last year because you're so good at it um that was not one of my proudest moments
I should not have gone looking back I was not prepared to go to that type of show um but you
look better than every girl on stage well thank you Jacqueline well we were all sitting there my
other the the two shows I did before that were much better I think my body was worn out by that
point so I get I get like into I go into shock when I look at the pictures and videos of my
sister on stage doing her competitions I'm like oh my god how do you do that what do you like
I remember like being around her when she does her like cuts for it it's like so rigid and you
have to be really militant about your it's terrible fuel and your exercise but it's really
cool to witness and I love like how our family will like go and travel like see her well I
remember did you come to you didn't come to the pacific beach show so the first show i did of
2019 um that was that was so much fun we rented an airbnb grandma came uh robert was really mad
at me because i had to wake up every two hours during the night he was the room right below mine
and i had to like go into the bathroom and like weigh myself and take pictures send him my coach
he was super mad uh like he was texting me he was super i literally have those texts still probably
Yeah. He was angry. Um, but that was so much fun. And I, the, the best memory from that show,
other than, I mean, obviously winning was pretty fun. Um, was when I, when I came to get my award,
the announcer MC guy gave me the microphone and I'm like, what? Like they don't just hand the
microphone out to people. And I mean, you sing. No, I didn't sing. People would like cry if I
sung but no he just you know gave me the microphone and I so I thanked people because I mean so many
people got me to that point and then um I made a point to say my grandma was in the audience and
so grandma stood up and they had the spotlight on her and it was like the cutest thing ever because
she just thought you know she felt so special and it meant so much for me to be there you know
she's actually been one of like my biggest supporters for my competitions but hopefully
I can do another one um I'm just trying to feel out the COVID situation and you know I don't mean
to make excuses but I'm pretty limited on equipment at home yeah for what you do yeah
because here's the thing like I can test that or whatever like you're using every machine thing in
the gym like possible for each muscle group what I mean more so it's like I need weight and I like
oh you're right you're right I need plates yeah and I just don't have that here and if I want to
build the dense muscle like I like to build I need can't get on that elliptical I mean but hey
we're gonna I can't wait tomorrow morning so here's the thing I love doing when I come home
I talked to you guys about my mom's like 4 a.m morning walks I got sucked into when I first got
here but now i'm excited for my sister and i to like wake up drink coffee do our cardio in the
morning make our fucking avo toast or whatever the fuck and like do that because i haven't been
working out why is this the workout episode i don't know maybe because i'm on the episode and i
basically my identity is fitness apparently it's true but you know what i'm a lot more than fitness
she's a lot we're not going to go into it but she's a lot more than fitness uh basically though
lately, it's just been, like, like, this morning, I drank coffee, I rolled around, like, a little,
like, roly-poly-oly on my mat, because all I need is a mat for my stuff, for yoga, yoga,
and, uh, yeah, I just, like, want to start doing more cardio, just, like, getting, I haven't, like,
literally, I haven't sweat hard in so long, anyways, okay, like, let's move on, what did we do, so then
I did your hair extensions, um, actually, speaking of yoga, you went and curled your hair, and then
And I rolled around and did yoga and listened to country.
I don't know.
It was like a vibe.
And then I went and got tired.
I took a two-hour nap.
Yes.
And while I did that, you're out.
And I get a text.
And it's like, do you want to come out and gym it with me?
Yeah, I was working out again.
And I was watching.
What did you do?
I spun on the bike to get my body warm because it's so cold out there.
and then I did legs did lots of glutes and quad hamstring just like a full with weights yes with
weights bands and I did some um elevated split squats I guess you would say Jesus and then I
did elliptical and I napped and you napped and then I came in and cleaned more and uh you offered
me hey Jacqueline you want me do you want me to make you dinner oh yeah and I was like sure can
you just make some shrimp so i made garlic sauteed shrimp well they're like prawns they're huge
um and then we made dinner we poured we poured some um michelle some sparkling wine and we're
waiting to watch dateline which is on at nine o'clock what does the bottle say it's called
michelle it's a brute domains the method is this columbia valley extra dry made with a touch of
sweetness for a rich mouthfeel we love a rich mouthfeel so literally let me look at my notes
here she made that what did you eat did you talk about your dinner no i didn't know we were talking
about oh wait i just i like wasn't i was like not listening when you said that we made shrimp i made
a giant shrimp salad she made some shit we watched the nightly news shout out coven 19 still blasting
our fucking eyeballs every night on the nightly news it's just like look we've been talking about
it all year it's not i'm not even phased by it anymore oh people are in more cases than ever
coven 19 vaccine shit coming out like i don't even it's just like i'm burnt out i'm just like
oh and I saw that like four people in the UK got they say unrelated but they got bell palsy
which I don't know what that actually is it's like a and I've heard of it bell palsy is that
like a paralysis thing paralyzed whatever people got after they took the vaccine they got bell
palsy so I'm really excited to watch the side effects people get from this shit how many people
drop dead from this shit um from the vaccine about malfunctioning uh I just can't wait it's
gonna be it's a it's characterized by muscle weakness that causes one half of the face to droop
and it can be a reaction to a viral infection okay
dude this is fucking crazy and then you guys I'm heated Dave Portnoy Portnoy shout out Dave
Portnoy. He came out with a bomb, another banger of an Instagram TV video about New York shutting
down indoor dining. Go watch it. Go to Dave Portnoy, El Presidente. Go to his Instagram to
watch it. I'm getting heated because like you said, I've been saying this for a while now,
there's a vaccine around the corner. It's asinine that restaurants are shutting down right now with
hope around the corner with a different like I think the government should be getting as
creative as possible to figure out a way to keep these places open because they've been
breaking their backs all year setting up their outdoor dining buying the plexiglass
wearing the masks making sure everything's you know as safe as possible and now they're having
to shut down it's just it's really sad because I can't imagine in 2021 we're gonna go another
year with outdoor dining only and you know I I think these restaurants still have a chance if we
uh could figure out a way to keep them open so I just like it's gonna like Dave Dave said in his
video it's gonna I mean this is gonna change America for like for a long time it's gonna
it's really hard to see because I just I could not under like if you're a restaurant owner right now
and you're shutting down in December what is today December why do I have to check the date
you guys all know the date, December 11th. And there's a vaccine like mid, uh, spring,
summer, it'll be rolled out. Things will be a little more easy going. We'll still probably
be masked up doing our stuff like we did this year, but at least we could dine indoors and
whatever. I just, I think it's really sad. I would, I would put up a fight. Honestly,
if you're not, if you're not willing to stand up for your business and keep it open and rebel
right now, cause I feel like that's the, that's the kind of action I would take.
I don't think you're fit for owning a business like honestly like it's that kind of thing you
have to take just stand up for your shit and I I've heard a lot of stories about businesses
staying up in restaurants saying fuck this and they're not following the rules or getting the
fines and everything but um I think we need more of that I think this is the time to do it if you're
gonna do it at any time like do it now when you're about to get shut down by the government because
it's bullshit so anyways enough of that we're basically at the end of the day like we talked
about oh now Dateline comes on at nine I purposely recorded this she's like teched out right now
sorry I'm responding to a work email okay she got quiet because she's on her phone I apologize
I told her though this was a social media addict day I kind of grazed over the fact that
I was on TikTok for multiple hours today I said I napped for two hours but I'd say like the
20 minutes leading up to that was a TikTok session.
After, while she was making my food, that was a TikTok session.
This morning before I went to the coffee run, that was a TikTok session.
So I basically was a hermit crab in my old high school bedroom on my phone watching TikTok.
I was a social media addict today, and I slept a lot.
But we're basically at the close of the conversation.
Dateline's coming on at 9.
I got this shit done with her beforehand.
And, look, we finished, like, how much is left?
I don't think, I haven't, is that, I keep.
Sorry, I'll respond to that later.
I'm done with my champagne.
Really?
Yeah.
Well, there's another bottle in there.
Okay.
I told Jacqueline, champagne is like LaCroix.
It is.
It is.
It's the same mouthfeel.
I told her, I got real pissed.
I'm like first of all I was acting weird today every time I woke up from a nap I'm like
I need a snack I need another snack I'm hungry I need to take a nap I was just being fucking
annoying and then she woke me up to ask if I if I wanted dinner I'm like I need a bubbly drink
I need something fizzy I need I need a barrel of LaCroix like I wanted to drink so much sparkling
water when I woke up from a nap and we don't have any in the house right now because as you know
as you know i finished off we don't have any sparkling water anymore but i finished off all
the diet cokes oh they're all gone i'm pretty sure i had four yesterday jacqueline dean
i had four yesterday that's offensive i know i've had a i've had a diet coke every day since
i've been home ask me about my uh diabetic condition
died by a pre pre-diabetic there uh there there's no sugar in them but the chemicals freak me the
fuck out well then why are we drinking them i don't know it's a whole it's the whole like the
other week when mom drove we were in the u-haul and she's like oh your aunt got us these pepperoni
sticks from hank's grocery store and i flipped over the package of pepperoni sticks and like
one of the third ingredients was cottonseed oil i'm like fuck cottonseed oil i don't fuck with
anything other than avocado oil olive oil like that kind of shit because you know shout out
paleo uh influencers paleo uh clean eating people on the internet fucking crossfit conditioned me
to eat paleo fucking shit avocado only avocado oil and olive oil only so i saw the cottonseed oil
and i'm like fuck this shit ben this makes zero sense then i ended up then i ended up that same
day going to mcdonald's eating chicken nuggets and uh spicy mcchicken and fries dang how does
that work in your brain and a diet coke but i wouldn't eat the pepperoni sticks from hanks
because of the cottonseed oil see that's the thing but so chemicals freak me out but i
sometimes but you still eat chemicals i do pepperoni your contradiction but pepperoni
chemicals freak me out cottonseed oil and a pepperoni stick from a grocery store go fuck
yourself I trust McDonald's I do trust the chemicals in the McDonald's chicken McNuggets
above uh grocery stores fucking pepperoni stick uh ingredients anyways okay uh I think can we wrap
it sure let's wrap it up you know what just really chaps my uh behind you can say chaps my ass
is when I get emails for something I'm no longer a part of yeah it's just great it's like hey I'm
not a part of this anymore yeah just like go fuck yourself um do you want to talk about anything
like what do you want to tell them what we're gonna do tomorrow
oh no episode 100 is a surprise well like they're gonna find out what we're doing tomorrow but we
have an idea it's gonna be fun we're doing it tomorrow julia will be on the show tomorrow
um but i don't know other than that we're just like waking up and doing our morning cardio and
we're gonna like podcast oh i know we should podcast the thing you know we should do what
we did today like no no not like drink but like coffee oh coffee get the vibes drinking and then
you're drinking and driving is not okay we're gonna drink well you'll find out but you can
rant about people's uh racks you mean their racks their car racks you mean their car racks have i
made comments in the past you uh make commentary at starbucks one time about people's racks on
there are cars that don't oh yeah it's when you have like a toyota uh forerunner yeah and you got
like this big old rack on it and all it's all souped up you got an extra gas can on the back
you know all of this stuff and it's pretty clear that you don't utilize any of it it's for show
it's all for show yeah like step off people i feel like people around where we live get all
the shit for their cars so it looks cool but they don't actually do anything with it it's a waste of
money yeah is that a helicopter it's rudolph okay if we were a little right now and it's about to
be christmas time there's a blinking red light in the sky right now it's probably a little puddle
puddle jumper plane what did mom call the planes i don't know but the navy the navy pilots last
night they were keeping me up they're flying their jets did you know that they have a pattern
that flies directly over our house it's mom said that yeah it's pretty irritating the united states
navy no no no it's like it's great and all but what time did you hear i didn't hear any of that
are you a light sleeper i don't know what does your whoop strap say do you pass out how long
does it take you to sleep i sleep if if jacqueline is tired i fall asleep two minutes yeah like i
passed i go to the bed to the pillow within two minutes i'm out um but i didn't hear the jets at
all yeah i feel like they're you know what mom and i have a theory we were over that way and uh
there were big like boeing like commercial jets flying like planes like normal planes
and it looked like they were doing um like training out there i feel like that's where
the pilots go like train in the normal like alaska airlines jets because there isn't a
like there isn't a what's it called there isn't an airport over there for commercial jets it's
just the navy so it was weird to see like normal what are they like seven what's the boeing or like
the airbus 330 i think like the normal jets 747s no not that big anyways can we wrap it i mean i
have nothing else to talk about what has it been like let's talk about like sister stuff what has
been like to live with your sister um for like i don't know do you want like a sentence or one word
just whatever you want to say tell the tell the people it's been interesting
in what way it's been an experience because we're very different in the way that we do things
like i get up super early i mean today i didn't at 7 30 but on a work day i'm up at 4 30 in the
morning and what time do i wake up like i don't know like 7 38 like eight o'clock i normally wake
up at six though when you when you weren't here when mom and i were doing our morning walks i'd
wake up at six every day yeah so um but hey question because i've talked about my i've talked
about my not to make this fucking all about me and my depression depression um but compared to
the summer can i complimented you by the way i said my siblings they there's two two distinctive
conversations and moments together where they literally helped like they changed my life and
one of the moments so i have a moment with my brother that's i i think i think i've talked
about before in another moment the other moment was with this summer with you and you laid into
me i remember you telling me jacqueline you look like shit you're not yourself this isn't you
you got to get your shit together fucking and we're like screaming in my apartment
in a good way not like in a mean way all i know is but now i give a lot of tough love
and you and robert never want to listen to me but at the end of the day who's always right
julia that's all right tough love works tough love works and i've seen a dramatic change in
uh who you are you seem happier now you got your your life together i don't feel like i have to
give you a coming to jesus meeting every time i see you facts like i think former me would have
fought like hell about those taping extensions today yeah i would have been so rude and mean
and angry because i was depressed i'd be like i don't want to fucking do this i don't want to do
like i would well first of all i would have never asked ever i wouldn't even think to ask you to do
my own hair like my hair extensions because i feel like you would get mad at me if i asked you
because i've told them i wait on you like i do i wait on my sister like the queen i don't put up
a fight it's just like what i do it's like kind of fun and kind of funny now like it's like a joke
now yeah like for example can you go pour me more champagne it's like yeah of course but uh that's
cool i i just like had to bring that up about you seeing me now versus the summer because it's
i feel like i'm 90 better than i i was like a fucked up piece of shit like i was a mess
well i was depressed honestly it was depression it was like i was lost i didn't have my job then
I think at first you didn't take it well, like most things.
But when it set in and we left, I think you were like, wow, okay, they're right.
And you did something about it.
I just, like, got help.
And I think something that's important is to know that when I am giving you that, like, tough love, it's because I love you and I care about you.
And I only want the best for you.
and it and it's something I think I will believe this till the day I die that I think it was a
swim coach that told me this or mom or somebody told me this and they're basically like if you're
not getting yelled at by a coach it's because you're not good and they don't care about you
and they don't see potential it's okay potential so if somebody in your life is not calling you
out or making a comment it's probably because you don't matter and when somebody is giving you that
tough love it's because they care about you it's not because they're mad at you it's not because
they hate you it's because they care about you so I think that's something at least that's helped me
in my life is to realize don't get defensive when someone's speaking up and they and they're trying
to help you that's true another thing that's true that goes along with that is if you're not like in
my case if you're not going hard to the point where people are judging and hating on you for
what you're doing as far as being a content creator or podcast host seven days a week
or whatever the fuck you're doing with on the internet that's a little bit I don't know out
there or just like fucking whatever uh you're not going hard enough and that's that's the truth like
if you're not getting feedback from like a coach a family member that's being hard-nosed and straight
up with you look that's not good and I'm I feel like the coach thing is true I've I've grown up
with coaches I'm coachable and that I want to tell you this this is important for you to know
when you guys left and I marinated over that conversation I was like they're right I know
this about myself they called me out they're right the last thing I'm going to do is be stubborn and
be like you know fuck these guys I don't you know I was just like no I this is the sign I really need
to like fix it and work on it okay but here's the thing you got to be able to think about who's
telling you that kind of stuff right because if it's people haters online that don't know you
okay well obviously they just are insecure and don't like themselves and they're just trying to
put you down and make themselves feel better okay so those aren't the ones to be listening to
it's the ones that are close to you that love you and support you those are the ones that are doing
it for the right reasons oh 100 but you know what the people on the internet it's not like
what what they got nothing better to do they're gonna come and creep on your page and talk crap
about you no it's just like kind of a good it's a good uh measuring stick i think even though it's
like okay i don't i don't feed into it i don't give it any attention i don't respond i don't
care like I genuinely don't but it's a good little measuring stick a little like pulse if you if you
should keep a pulse on what kind of feedback you're getting on um you know when you're starting
out with being a content creator in my case I'm doing this podcast every day um if you start
getting little spikes in the feedback that are negative like you know hate shit here and there
I feel like that's a good sign because if you're pleasing everyone if you're doing everything
perfect and everyone's happy i feel like that's you're not going hard enough you got to push
honestly i think the people i respect the most in this industry the people that i look up to the
people that i uh want to be friends with the people i want to be be like are the ones that
are always looking for that that line and they're getting close to that edge and they're pushing the
limits and they're speaking up and speaking their mind and they have solid opinions on matters that
are uh that everyone cares about and wishes they could go to the internet and talk about but some
people are though and those people that do that that get the hate but they have that massive
respect um by like huge i'm just talking about like i just bring them up like every fucking show
the joe rogan's of the world he's one example but the top uh conversationalists uh they
they're uh what i just lost my train of thought god damn it it's okay i'm not i'm not professional
at this uh they are willing to be hated and that's why they are good at what they do they're
just willing to push the limit i don't know if it's a willing to hate i think it's they're willing
to be themselves but you have to be willing to be yourself and if you get negative feedback stay the
course and you don't change because someone disagrees with you you don't make everyone happy
because when you speak your mind when you say things that are polarizing or your solid opinion
that people are going to disagree with if someone if you get feedback that's like
yo i disagree that's a bunch of bullshit you're you're a piece of shit and if you
roll over and change because like that's you're not cut out for it the best of the best stay the
course and that's what i'm practicing the cancel culture i live in now in a millennial generation
with weak emotional intelligence with fucking everything's offensive you can't have a
conversation about anything without offending somebody i know that's like a cliche everyone
talks about it i'm saying oh what kind of change do i want to make in this world i want to speak
my mind i want to put my skin in the game contribute to the conversation and not bow over
because someone's offended like that's not a that's no way to live so anyways why did i just
go on that rant I don't know my knees hurt um I need to sit down are we done I don't know you're
in charge I'm just here for fun for the fun of it it could go on rabbit holes um but I just okay
I'll end it with this uh this has been great has it I don't know I think you did a great job did I
you're fun you're funny I feel like we may have better content to talk about later on
well we could just keep talking yeah but we don't want to make it like dude shout out joe rogan one
more time shout out uh fucking three hour podcast no we could do mom and i did two hours fuck maybe
we'll do more tomorrow yeah we could for episode 100 we'll go like a lot i gotta make my um
charcuterie board for dateline oh talk about it what i'm gonna make yeah um well i think there's
some tulamic like the aged the really aged stuff the white cheddar that black wrapper i think it's
like the vintage i don't know mom likes it the black wrapper yeah so i'm gonna get some of those
uh grandpa gave us mousse jerky pepperoni pepperoni sticks oh i want the other half of the one i just
ate so i'm gonna cut up some of those olives olives garlic stuffed olives green garlic stuffed
olives crackers these yeah but they're these ritz cheesy uh crackers i found in the cupboard
kind of like open those we're gonna already opened them last night god damn it um there's
some lays basic potato chips this is a white trash and i also think there's some havarti cheese
dude we're putting fucking pepperoni sticks fucking lays potato chips on a on a charcuterie
board this is like my favorite thing to do on friday night dude we're classy but we're fucking
white trash at the same time no we're not dude who puts lace classy trash is that what you're
trying to say who puts lace potato chips on the charcuterie board we're doing it in honor of
great grandma oh facts okay because great grandma to every family party would bring potato chips
mother goose brand that i think she got from the dollar store she did they only sell mother goose
potato chips at the dollar store so that'll be our night and then we're gonna go to bed
we have an hour and a half um are you gonna do a pedicure you want one tonight okay she said she
do it like an hour no we're not going no i will do one but not tonight no she's gonna give me a
pedicure and uh i don't know then we're gonna so basically we're doing our charcuterie making our
board probably gonna make are we gonna do more uh champagne maybe i just need something bubbly and
that's all that's the only option so well we're out of la croix i know and i wanted to go to the
corner store to get some we are not driving now well because i am not getting a dui just uber
we don't have ubers out here do they know where we live yeah well washington dude oh my god can
we just talk about this right now? Jesus Christ. We're watching the nightly news. I think it's
like local TV. They're at Pike's Place Market. There's like a bunch of middle school kids
and they're standing around singing Christmas carols with their scarves and their sweaters
wearing, literally it looks like they cut out a Ziploc bag and put a little like, I
I know a rubber band around it and tied it to their face it looks it this is like imagine
yourself a year ago seeing this like if you saw this this time last year their faces look
scrunched up from the plastic it's it's wrong just wear a surgical mask we're watching it on
silent right now so it's looking really funny oh they did a great job with the diversity here
um every race is involved let's see what about weight uh you know what no so is this king five
news they're missing out on so every they did great job good they did a great job with the
diversity including these middle school kids from all different backgrounds but they're missing a
fat kid i think that's really how you know if they wanted to but maybe you know what i don't
promote that I'm not about that shit you guys know my opinion about fat fat fat uh what's it
called a body positivity fat positivity that whole movement I have a strong opinion about it you guys
listen to a previous episode if you want to hear I don't know which one it is but I don't know I'm
kind of happy they didn't have the overweight kid there because it's not it's not it um all right so
Jacqueline I'm just saying I like I like my uh it's like Christina and Tom from your mom's house
they like their models thin they like them attractive they don't need to see a fat mannequin
at Macy's they don't want to see an ugly off-looking person uh on a Nike ad just because
like no models are attractive they're hot they're in shape they're not fat they're not ugly end of
story but those aren't models those were kids singing in a choir yeah you know what but they
i'm just saying they had a bunch of healthy weight kids of all races which is a cool thing to see
every they had the diversity was there i was saying oh if they want to go all the way they'd
have the fat kid but i was happy they didn't have the fat kid because um i'm not about that life
i'm not about that promoting that that's it so anyways episode 99 did i just did i just you're
shocked she's in shock you better edit that out I'm just speaking my mind I know what you're
thinking I talk about all the time I thought you're a daily listener you know that I've talked
about my opinion on that I don't think it's I think it should not be promoted like it is right
now it shouldn't be like a thing I don't think they're promoting people being overweight I'm not
you know what I was I was talking about the kids everyone they're on the same page you're half
listening you got you're sitting here on the couch putting your hand up like a judgmental mom
with her finger over her she's got like one index finger on the cheek then the the fist
part of her hand is just like rested on the chin all you need is some library librarian glasses
now what are we looking at
okay can we talk about describe what you're looking at julia from the top of your head i'm
not really sure we got okay so all white karens with wigs with ornaments and uh they look like
they're in Whoville yeah tall Marge Simpson wigs uh all like I said all white women all Karen age
maybe a little older probably like 70 upper 70s some of them they're uh wearing Mrs. Claus red
Christmas uh long coats they're still at Pike's Place Market this is a singing this is a caroling
night Friday night in Seattle we're watching the news on mute while we're recording this episode
um and uh oh the masks this is what i want to bring up this is why i even talked about this
with the kids at first i just some team surgical mask stop doing these clear masks that look like
a ziploc bag with it it just like doesn't just wear a surgical mask i think they're doing it so
um people that are hard of hearing can understand what they're saying bullshit get an air get a
fucking uh uh sign language sign language person on on that screen in the corner
like a fucking presidential there's always this person at a speech
and an assembly for a high school rally doing the fucking sign sign language for the deaf kids and
you don't need a clear mask over their mouth for the deaf people put subtitles on your tv
that's incredibly insensitive that's what I was talking about where's that line I'm trying to
cross it you just crossed let's do it are you offended I am offended episode 99 offended my
sister let's go let's end on that I think this is like an hour dude you need to listen more
podcasts people don't people that talk shit you're not done yet keep that keep that headset on
people that talk shit go there and they don't give it's just like it's about bringing up the
insanity of the shit you witness and observe in the world and being curious about it and how
dumb shit looks and you have to bring up the extreme shit you have to go there i don't think
that was i like to call it out dumb what we saw i think that was them being sensitive to people
that have disabilities or challenges in their lives i think these fucking ladies wanted everyone
to see their lipstick choices tonight jack clear masks and ladies and gentlemen that is where my
sister and i are much different people all right facts though they wanted everyone to see their
lipstick how why else would they go clear masks i just told you so people with hearing difficulties
could understand what they were singing subtitles some people don't have that capability on their tvs
hire a sign sign sign language person they probably don't have funding for that in times
like these train one of them to do it again that takes money i'm over i'm going too far all right
