next to the Exeter occupying in Adelaide the space that used to be taken by the old tobacconist called Smoke Lovers and they call this one Smoke Lovers 2. And we got there, some friends and I earlier today, my wonderful mother and father were looking after the children.

And my wife was there. My wife said, you know, I think I have a cider. And my friend Sam, who you may remember from episode one of this podcast, he was there. He said, I'll have a beer. And I looked at the cocktail menu. It was Sam's shout. And that's what I do when it's someone else's shout. Time to buy something a little more expensive on the menu than a beer.

And I said, I'll have the Cuban number three. That was a cocktail they had, the Cuban number three. There was no Cuban number one or number two. No one else was ordering the Cuban number three, just I. We went, we sat down and they brought out the drinks and my wife and Sam, they said, hey, that Cuban number three, that looks pretty good. Well, as you do when you're sitting near the Exeter, people who knew us came, saw us and sat down and they said, what are you having? That looks good. And I said i said this this is a cuban number three well when it came time for the next round of drinks someone else's round of drinks who just

sat down they said james you want anything i said yeah i'll have a cuban number three six other people saying now they want the cuban number three too everybody's having the cuban number three well we're sitting there we're having having our delicious Cuban number threes. It's coming near my turn to buy a round of drinks. So I go often. I buy chips for the table. That's an economically responsible thing to do. Oh, once I have my catamaran, once I have a big income, then maybe I can have a round of drinks. But for the time being, you come back with some hot chips. Everyone's pretty happy with that. Next person says, my round of drinks. They say, oh, I'll have a round of drinks. 10 people now, 10, oh, I'll have a round of drinks. Ten people now, ten people sitting there asking for the Cuban number three.

This is a new wine bar. They didn't know the Cuban number three would be the hot ticket item of the day. They didn't know that James Donald Forbes McCann, trendsetter, was there ordering Cuban number threes for the whole table. They kept ordering Cuban number threes. The Cuban number threes started to change. At first, there was a little beautiful wooden popsicle-type contraption. I think they ran out of them. They disappeared. These would come with a slice of lime. Now there's no citrus of any kind whatsoever. They've overdone it.

They've cooked it. They can't supply enough Cuban number threes, is what I believe is going on. Because I was setting a trend. Because I'm a trendsetter, ladies and gentlemen. And that's what you are. You're a trendsetter. You're one of the early adapters
