Well, last night, I did put a bet in on the Tulane Greenwave quarterback, Jake Retzlav, to have a big game, and he sure his shit did. He, of course, better known as the B.Y Jew, who I believe was kicked out of BYU because he was accused of some sort of sexual assault or something like that that turned out to be false. But he is no longer the B.Y Jew. I guess if you are the B.Y Jew at one point, do you just always remember?
Starting point is 00:01:24 remain the B. Y Jew? Or now that you're at Tulane, are you just like the two Jew? I don't know. But he's now at Tulane and they're trying to sneak into the college football playoff and they won last night. Not a very impressive game against East Carolina, but they did win it. I mean, look, an ugly win is better than a pretty loss, especially when you're a team like Tulane that's trying to sneak into the playoff. But whatever, I got his total. But nice weekend to college football. Ooh, tonight I'm going to go over to the bar and watch the Tigers hopefully beat the Mariners to keep playoff baseball going here. You know, I've been kind of disappointed in the baseball atmosphere here. And maybe it's because they've been bad for so long. But usually when a team is bad for so long, and then they get good again, it takes a couple of years
Starting point is 00:02:09 before people are sort of apathetic about it and the ballpark's got a bunch of empties. There were a shitload of empty seats for the playoff game the other day. Now it's a day baseball game. And people have lives. I get that. People have jobs. I get that. So it's not like it was a Saturday at noon or something. But there were a lot of empties. And it's a passionate baseball town. But I think what's happened here, since I got here, this team has been very mediocre. Like basically the second I moved here, they just started losing.
Starting point is 00:02:40 And they've been bad for the last two months. And they've been losing games in a way that's really hideous. They're losing games without hitting. They just can't hit. I know they scored a bunch of runs to save the series last game after they were down nine to three. but they've basically had two or three good innings so far in the postseason this year, and they still don't hit. So I think a lot of people just don't believe in them, thus they don't go to the game.
Starting point is 00:03:01 But there were a lot of empties. I've been unimpressed by the passion level for baseball here, because I thought it was going to be different. But like you turn on the Philly game and, like, the place is packed and, like, people are into it. I'm not seeing that same vibe here. But anyway, let me play a few commercials, and let's look at some of these college football games for the weekend. Hit pause on whatever you're listening to

They've been off for two weeks after losing to Ole Miss. Apparently, Garrett Nussmeyer is healthy. Allegedly, who knows if he's ever going to be healthy. But he and the LSU Tigers take on South Carolina. And LSU is a huge favorite in that game.
Starting point is 00:04:45 It's at Tiger Stadium. South Carolina's got revenge on their mind because they feel like they were cheated by LSU and the refs last year. They're the team that blew a 17-0-0-0 lead, but yes, let's blame the officials and let's blame everybody else and say that everybody was cheating you. But looking at some of these matchups, you would think that after, I'm just going to go straight down the line here at some of these games, whichever one's pop to me. Noon, you've got Ohio State in Illinois. I don't buy Illinois at all. I think that Ohio State's going to put Illinois in their place. By the way, they wouldn't be the first team to put Illinois in their place.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Let us not forget that Indiana beat the ever-living shit. of Illinois a couple weeks ago. They beat them by 50-some-odd points. And yes, they're coming off a two-point win over USC. That's cool. Yes, they're coming off beating Purdue after that. So good for them. They're five-and-one.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Ohio State should work these guys. I don't buy Illinois at all. I don't buy whatever brand of football, Brett Bilema coaches. I think Ohio State's going to work them pretty good. Alabama and Missouri. This is a big game from Missouri at Missouri. You know, when you get teams like Alabama or last year when LSU came or two years ago when LSU came to town, when you get these kind of opportunities to have these kind of programs, big traditional powerhouses come to your university.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Because Missouri still isn't one of them, but this is an opportunity to have an on-site game at your stadium versus Alabama. They're not a huge underdog in this game. It's a two-and-a-half point line for Alabama. I think Mizzou could win that. They could. I think this thing could go two ways. I think Alabama, this is going to sound ridiculous. I get it.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Duh. But I think Missouri could win a tight game, or I could see a scenario where Bama beats the shit out of them because Bama can throw the ball around the yard. And if you look at what Missouri's done so far this year, tell me who Missouri has played that's impressed you. That's the problem I have with Missouri. And this is why I don't buy a Missouri. I think everybody's kind of talking about Missouri. Like, oh, look out.
Starting point is 00:06:44 They look at what drinks to it. Yes, here's what they've done. Central Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, South Carolina, and UMass. They're 5 and 0 because they've played dipshits. They've played mostly dipshits and South Carolina who, as it turns out, maybe a dip shit. Missouri's got such a favorable schedule, man. Like after Bama, you got Auburn, who you could probably beat, Vanderbilt who you can beat. A&M's tough, but you're at home for that.
Starting point is 00:07:10 You got Mississippi State who you can beat, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Like you look at that Missouri schedule and you go, what the fuck? Fuck. But I think this could be a scenario where they get their dicks knocked off because they haven't played anybody. I think it's really easy to look good scoring 52 points against ULL or 42 against Kansas or 61 against Central Arkansas or UMass. I think Bamas figured it out offensively and they can sling the hog, man. This dude Ty Simpson can sling it and they got guys that can catch it. So I would not be shocked if they work Missouri. Two and a half, I might take Alabama money line in a parlay. I just don't leave in Missouri. Let's see. Some of the others, I would imagine that Michigan State's going to put one on UCLA. They're at home and UCLA's coming off the biggest win they've had in a billion years after beating Penn State. They are prime for a letdown. So Michigan State's a seven and a half point favorite. I'd keep an eye out on that. Let's see. Some of the other ones, no, Houston, Oklahoma State, who cares? Old Miss and Washington State, who cares? It looks
Starting point is 00:08:11 good on paper to get Washington State versus Ole Miss, but they're 31.5 point favorites, so there's nothing to see there. Indiana at Oregon, that's another one where I think someone's going to get put in their place and that someone's going to be Indiana. Good for Indiana. They've looked much better this year than they did last year when they were screaming about being in the playoffs and everything else. But Oregon is very good and they're at home and I think Indiana is going to get put in their place. I think they're going to learn a little something.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Like credit to Indiana because they've looked, they're undefeated. You look at their wins, Old Dominion, Kennesopherson. State, Indiana State, nothing to see there. When they got people's attention was demolishing Illinois, who was number nine at the time. Cool, big deal. And then they've bounced back after that and beaten Iowa. Iowa is what Iowa is every year.
Starting point is 00:08:58 But I think Oregon's going to work these dudes. Oregon didn't play last week. I think Oregon's going to smoke these fools. That's what I really like as well. Texas and Oklahoma, Texas's favorite. Think about this. Think about the absurdity. And this is why rankings don't matter.
Starting point is 00:09:14 I'll talk with Jilly about this. be like, hey, look, such and such fell on the rankings. I'm like, I don't give up shit. It's the opinion of a bunch of dib shits. Texas is a point and a half favorite against number six Arkansas. Texas, unranked, Oklahoma, rather. Number six, Oklahoma, point and a half underdog to Texas. Fuck, man.
Starting point is 00:09:34 And look, I hate watching them play, too. When they're not playing well offensively, they are tough to watch. It is an ugly, ugly watch. But maybe they figured out this weekend. Maybe they don't. Like, it's almost like they're begging you. They're like, look, guys, Oklahoma's number six in the country. Take them as an underdog.
Starting point is 00:09:49 And maybe it's just so obvious that that's what's going to happen. But I kind of lean towards Texas as fucked up as that sounds. Some of the other ones, Notre Dame, that's not an interesting game. Northwestern and Penn State. Look, I think Penn State goes out and beats the shit out of Northwestern because they have to. They've lost back-to-back games, one of which was a huge favorite against UCLA. You're back home. Coach's job is on the line.
Starting point is 00:10:13 I think Penn State beats the shit out of Northwestern because I think a lot of people have beaten the shit out of Northwestern because Northwestern's not any good. Look, U.L. Monroe is – look at the games that Northwesterns play. Tulane beat them by 20. Oregon beat them by 20. So I would say that I'm looking at Penn State as a bounceback situation where they should smoke a shitty team.
Starting point is 00:10:37 They should. They're at home. I think Tennessee is going to – well, Arkansas might circle the wagons because they fired the coach. You got Bobby Petrino in there now, and you're going to see what Bobby Petrino does. But I love Tennessee, and I love what they do offensively. I think they're going to score a shitload of points on Arkansas because Arkansas's defense is bad. And all Tennessee does is scores.
Starting point is 00:10:57 41 against Mississippi State, 56 UAB, 41 in a losing effort against Georgia, 73, 48. They're going to score points. Whatever their team total over is, take that for Tennessee. I don't care who the new coaches of Arkansas. They still have the same shitty players to give up a shit ton of points in yards. so Tennessee should still feast on those guys. A&M's in a great spot at home against Florida. Florida coming off the upset win against Texas feeling great about themselves.
Starting point is 00:11:23 A&M, they should smoke Florida in that situation. That's a great situational spot there. USC is a two and a half point favorite at home against Michigan. I hate Michigan. I hate their offense. I hate the quarterback. I hate everything about what they do. But I could see them going into USC and winning.
Starting point is 00:11:40 I wouldn't pick it. But I could see a scenario where they go in and do it. because USC fuck shit up. That's what USC does. Another situation where an unranked team is favored over a team that's in the top 15. Let's see here. I think LSU is going to beat South Carolina, but I don't know that they're going to cover. BYU only a two and a half point favorite at Arizona.
Starting point is 00:11:59 That's an interesting one. Outside of that, nothing else that really piques my interest. But there's some good ones. There's some good situational spots in college football this weekend. As I said, if Penn State's ever going to beat the shit out of someone, it's going to be beating the shit out of Northwestern. They're going to pick on them. I love Alabama as only a two-and-a-half-point favorite going to Missouri
Starting point is 00:12:19 because Missouri hasn't played anybody. Prove that you can beat somebody, Missouri. You haven't beaten anybody that's worth a shit. I like Michigan State after UCLA basically won their Super Bowl. You're at home. You should throttle UCLA if you're Michigan State. Oregon's going to beat Indiana. Indiana hasn't really beaten.
Starting point is 00:12:36 I mean, congratulations, beat Illinois. Who the fuck cares? Texas, the whole world's doubting you. Maybe Arch finally has a break. out. Like there's some really interesting matchups. Some really fun things this week. And I cannot wait to bet on them and get drunk. There.
