Welcome in All Up in this podcast.
So let's see here
I did this on the radio show yesterday
But I didn't actually play
This phone call in its full form
Now let me explain
So I do
Voice tracking is what they call it
But I do voice tracking stuff
On a couple radio stations across the country
Just to make a couple extra bucks
So basically I play disc jockey
On a couple stations
Sometimes I fill in on some
So I've been on in Portland
I've been on in Orlando.
I've been on in New Mexico and places like that.
But full time, I have two radio stations that I do every day.
One is Knights in Salt Lake City and the other is Knights in Seattle.
And of course, Salt Lake City, very nice, very Mormon, very sorry, LDS, as it were.
And then over in Seattle, it's very hyper-liberal, right?
And look, I'm not getting on there offering political take.
or anything. I'm talking up Def Leopard Records. Like, that's not my job. But they wanted to be
kind of personable and have a couple, you know, like funny things, jokes, whatever. So you know, you do
that kind of shit. Well, anyway, so I said something that offended a listener the other day to the
point that they sent a voicemail that kind of worked its way all the way up this chain of like
very important people. And then the email got back to me. All right. And then the email had audio
attached. The audio is of a three-minute voicemail that this woman had left complaining about
something that I had said on the radio. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to play for you
this audio that I'm going to start with my audio. I'm going to play for you the audio of what I
said. Then I am going to play for you the audio of her three-minute voicemail and you can be
the judge of whether or not this woman's anger was justified. Now, I'm going to play for you. Now,
I did play this on the radio show the other day, but I doctored the audio because I hadn't gotten permission to play the actual call from the people in Seattle.
And I didn't want to piss them off.
I'm not in the business of pissing people off right now in my life.
So I just wanted a way to get confirmation.
Program director said I can play it.
Rock on.
So I'm going to play it without having to doctor the voice.
I'll do that after you hear me and what I said.
So I'm going to play a couple commercials and then we will get back into the tomfoolery.
On game day, pain can hit hard and fast, like the headache you get when your favorite team and your fantasy team both lose.
When pain comes to play, call an audible with Advil plus acetaminopin and get long-lasting dual-action pain relief for up to eight hours.
Tackle your tough pain two ways with Advil plus acetaminephim.
Advil, the official pain relief partner of the NFL.
Ask your pharmacist at this product's rate for you.
Always read and follow the label.
All right.
So, first off, this is what I said on the radio in the middle of a talkup is what you would call this.
This is me.
Senator Sandman on KZOK.
I'm Josh.
What's up?
See a headline that reads,
Seattle Huka Lounge disputes connection to fatal shooting and shares video evidence.
And look, I have no idea what they had to do with the shooting or not.
But I don't know.
I feel like bad things happen at Huka Lounge.
Now, bad things can happen anywhere.
I mean, a bar, Walmart, it doesn't matter.
But I don't know.
I always feel the stories about hookah lounges turn out poorly.
That's all.
Again, I know nothing about hookah lounges.
I've never been to a hookah lounge.
I don't get into hookah.
Barely even know what it is.
It's flavored smoke, right?
That's all it is.
So apparently this was offensive to this woman that I said that hooka lounges,
I just, again, it was an observation.
It seems that every news story you hear about
hookah lounges, ends poorly. There's never a, you know, folks who were, you know, at the hookah lounge
helped an old lady cross the road, or there was a cat stuck in a tree and somebody stopped from
puffing a hookah to go help the cat. It's always like, hey, shooting happens at the hookah lounge.
Generally speaking, that's what you get from that. So that was that. Now, this audio,
which is the audio of the voicemail that was left by this angry woman, which made its way up this
chain all the way back to me about how I was offensive based on that one throwaway line about
hookah lounges, which again, I still believe is true. You don't hear positive stories about
hookah lounges. Anyway, and I don't know why that is. All I hear is that there are shootings at
hookah lounges. That's all you ever hear. Again, that's it. I don't know who goes to hookah lounges.
I don't give a shit who goes to hookal lounges. Anyway, this is the voicemail from the lady.
Hi, I'm trying to get in touch with folks involved with marketing for the Seattle station KZOK.
I was just listening to that station and one of the radio DJs made a joke about a recent shooting that happened to occur at a hookah lounge.
And the radio DJ in his radio DJ voice.
First off, I find that very offensive to say that I have to say that I have to be a hukkah lounge.
a radio DJ.
Like she's already off to a condescending start.
Like she's clearly offended by something that wasn't super offensive.
You've heard the audio.
So you know that like, first off, what I said wasn't offensive.
Second of all, this is an angry woman.
I'm going to assume she's an angry white woman.
And she's going to lash out as much as possible on behalf of whatever group she feels
like was offended by my one-off line about how bad things happen at hookah lounges.
It's like, I feel like shootings always just.
happened at hookah lounges.
Never said that. In fact, I don't think I ever said that I never used the term
shootings about hookah lounges. I believe at one point in that audio, all I said was that
bad things seem to happen at hookah lounges. Now bad things could happen anywhere, bars,
Walmart, it doesn't matter. But it feels like bad things tend to happen. You never hear good
things that happen at hookah lounges. That's it. She's already full of shit. We continue.
And it was the most insolingly.
me.
F*** up thing I've ever heard in my life.
Now, that was the most insanely fucked up thing she has ever heard in her life.
Okay.
The most insanely fucked up.
Now, I imagine there have been some pretty fucked up things this woman has heard in her life.
I imagine, based on where we're going to go with this conversation, she's probably been around some people that's celebrated when Charlie Kirk or Trump got shot.
So I feel like she's probably heard some pretty fucked up things in her life.
But nope, no, sir.
The most insanely effed up thing this woman has ever heard in her life was me saying that it seems that bad things happen at Huka Lounge.
It was the most insanely f*** up thing I've ever heard in my life.
Like, how could anybody who's in a management position listen to that and go, yep, this woman's totally credible.
out of all the fucked up things that are said every single day.
No, the most fucked up thing this woman has ever heard.
Now, mind you, they probably didn't hear the audio.
So, like, I get where they'd hear this and go, what the fuck did this guy say?
He must have said the inward.
He must have used every possible slur and imaginable.
Every bad word.
He must have used the CNX Tuesday.
He must have used the N word.
This man must have said all the most fucked up things ever.
What is it?
Then you hear the audio and you go, wait.
that was that was it
that's all the guy did
it's in our sandman on kzy okay
I'm Josh what's up
see a headline that reads
all right so let me make sure
before I hear this again I want to make sure
I'm fairly certain at no point that I say that
it's why shootings always happen at hookah lounges
Seattle hookah lounge
disputes connection to fatal shooting
and shares video evidence
and look I have no idea
what they had to do with the shooting or not
but I don't know
I feel like
bad things happen at hookah lounges.
Now, bad things can happen anywhere.
I mean, a bar, Walmart, it doesn't matter.
But I don't know.
I always feel the stories about hookah lounges turn out poorly.
That's all.
At no point did I even say that shootings happen at hookah lounges.
I said that bad things happen at hookah lounges.
So, again, she is 25 seconds into this call and she's already lying.
A shooting happened a day or two ago.
and to hear a radio DJ in his radio DJ voice.
That's the second time.
I don't appreciate that.
Talk about it.
A, you just even to talk about it, like you're just a, you know,
if you're just a radio DJ and you're not a news anchor or something and you're joking about a shooting, that's weird.
I don't know that that's weird.
You don't have to be a news person to talk about something that you see in the news.
And then he said that I feel like they just always happened at hookah bars.
I did not.
I at no point said anything about shootings.
I said there was a shooting at a hookah bar or hookah lounge.
The people that owned it said that they had nothing to do with it.
And that seemingly bad things happen at hookah lounges.
I've heard about fights at hookah lounges, shootings.
Again, all I've ever heard is bad things.
Now, maybe that's a news issue.
Maybe that's an issue with the people that put out the news.
And all they do is report the bad stuff.
all I said was I've heard nothing but bad things about hookah lounges
That's racist as fuck
Ah now we're at a point where this person who I'm going to assume is an angry white woman
Now she's on her white horse letting people know that I'm racist
Now why is it racist to say this?
I know nothing about the clientele of hookah lounges
I don't even know what fucking hookah is
But apparently it's racist to say that bad things happen at hookah lounges
That is so racist
So racist she says
look ma'am
if you think that's bad
you should hear some of my other shit
and I just want you as the marketing person to know
that
this is not going to go unnoticed
I'd like to know like so what are you going to do with it
I'm going to go up the chair I let me hear from your manager
I need to speak to the manager because this guy said
all he hears is bad things about hookah lounges
now of course that's not what she said
She said that I said that shootings only happen at hookah lounges.
It's horrifying that a DJ would joke about a violent, violent act like that.
Let's be real, though, guys.
When we hear this woman, do we really believe that she's not one of those people that made the jokes about like when right-wing people get shot?
Don't you get that vibe from this woman, that that's kind of her M.O?
Something that is horrible that no family would want to happen to them.
and to kind of have jolly, lighthearted banter about it.
I don't know that I'd call that jolly.
When I think of jolly, I think of like Sanny Clause or something.
I wouldn't say that my banter was jolly.
And then on top of doing lighthearted banter to say that he thinks that most shootings just happen at hookabars.
So now I think that most shootings in general happen at hookah bars, not just shootings or like that sometimes happen at hookah bars that,
No, now I, not just, you know, bar-related shootings.
No, now it's most shootings happen at hookah lounges.
So now she's really gone off the reservation.
So what?
Shootings only happen, you know, in people of color establishments?
No, I don't think I said that either, ma'am.
And you're the one.
Here's what I like about people who like to call you racist.
they enjoy calling you racist, then say things that are far more racist than you said.
Like, oh, so shootings only happen in people of color establishments?
First of all, what the fuck is a people of color establishment?
Is this like the Jim Crow South?
Listen, here, young sir, you're in a P.
Go back to the people of color establishments.
Like, is that what we're doing here?
Second of all, like, I don't even know who goes to hookah lounges, and I don't care.
All I've heard is that shootings happen at hookah lounge.
Which, by the way, I never said on the radio.
All I said was seemingly bad things happen at hookah lounges.
As if the gun problem isn't a hugely, like, white American male problem.
Dude, you know what they should have said?
God, this would have been awesome.
They should have told her that the guy on the radio was black and then see how she reacted.
Like, if they could have actually talked with her on the phone, like, man, we just want to let you know that the gentleman on the radio is black.
and those were his thoughts.
Now how do you feel?
I enjoy listening to her try to make sure she phrases her little sentence about people of color
to make sure that like she phrases it properly so she's not offensive in her what is actually an offensive statement.
So what?
Shooting only happen.
Listen to her.
She's struggling.
You know, in people of color establishments.
Like again, what is a people of color establishment?
like what world are we in here ma'am i never listen to the radio i they never do by the way
every time these people complain they're people who never actually listen to the radio but they
just happened to be listening on this day that you said something that was the most
disgusting horrifying thing they've ever heard just happened to be going for a long drive
tonight so i turn and my uh phone was almost out of battery i usually listen the podcast
and my phone was out of battery so i was like you know what i guess i'll listen to the radio
for the last 20 minutes of my drive phone.
Do you want me to believe that an angry Karen who's probably in a Subaru
doesn't have a charged battery on their phone?
How can you post things on Twitter about ICE and other stuff if your phone is not charged?
I don't believe you, ma'am.
I never do that.
She's laughing at herself.
She's like, I never do that.
Now I'm really realizing why I never turn on the radio because, my God.
Well, she's sitting there listening to, like, small.
Martless or some Keith Oberman podcast.
She's listening to Rachel Maddow
today or something. She's like, that's why
I only listen to this.
What a disgusting,
horrifying thing to hear.
I don't
need a response. I'm not expecting a response.
I just hope that somebody
hears this
and takes it seriously
because what I just heard was fucking
disgusting. Awful.
So there you go.
Again, these people are bad shit crazy.
And I don't consider myself right wing, left wing, whatever.
Because I'll make fun of those people that are going to be pissed that Green Day is opening the Super Bowl.
You know, so who cares?
But this woman in her ilk, these are bat shit crazy people.
I mean, just flat out bat shit insane people.
To the point that they listen, they claim to hear things they didn't hear.
They're angry.
They do this because they hope you get fired or punished for it.
They tell your management that you said things that you never fucking said.
Like this should be an example to you of how broken these fucking people are.
It's hysterical, but they're broken people.
Like to say, again, the audio that I played for you of me on the radio was nothing like what she said.
And in fact, everything she said, like is her writing in like she's, you know, white nighting for a bunch of black folks who, A, aren't listening to that radio station.
and B, like, probably wouldn't give a fuck.
She's like, can you believe the people, like people of color establishment?
Then she gets racist by letting you know that gun problems are mostly just white male problems
because that's the acceptable form of racism.
The acceptable form of racism is just to throw blanket statements over like, hey, gun problems are white male problems.
Like this woman has not seen a dick anywhere near her mouth or vagina in years.
She's got cobwebs in her couter.
There's no doubt about it.
So just to show you the kind of shit that people deal with on a daily basis from imbeciles like this woman.
Fascinating, isn't it?
So there's the actual version of that audio.
If you listen to the radio show, you heard like a Herman Munsterish kind of thing because I wasn't sure.
So I didn't want to run any risk of anything.
Well, there you go.
There's that lady.
She's a fucking bad shit crazy imbecile.
Anyway, more to come.
