Starting point is 00:00:00 All right. So the lions have killed my hopes of a parlay victory because they're basically dead in the water as it relates to making the playoffs. And I needed them to make the playoffs. That's the only thing missing from my parlay, which would win $900. I think it would pay out $1,000. But it's going to miss because the lions are going to miss the playoff, barring a miracle. And I really don't feel like listening to stuff about their stupid miracles because there are no miracles because they're not a good football team. They stink. I don't care about their injuries. I don't care about anything else. They stink. I'm tired of them, all right? That said, there was something that happened at the Lions game yesterday that the TV really paid attention to, and that was D.K. Metcalfe, taking a swipe at a fan. Like, nobody would have noticed it. I was fascinated by how CBS, like, made it a point. They were, like, narking this dude out. They're like, well, the league's going to hear about this. Like, they narked old D.K. out pretty good. But D.K., I would imagine, fed this information to Ocho Cinco, because Ocho Cinco says he knows what happened and why D.K. Metcalfe took a swing at this Lions fan. He knows it, because he's got the intel.
Starting point is 00:01:14 So we're going to hear from Ocho Cinco, and we'll hear from the guy who got slugged, really didn't even get slugged, because there was no contact made. But we'll also hear what he said he said. I don't think he's actually spoken with anybody on camera or anything like that, at least at this point. But we'll hear from both of these, and you be the judge after these words. All right, first off, we start with the dude that was on the other end of the altercation, the fan, and I have no idea what he said. He claims that he just called D.K. by his government name, and that D.K. got all worked up over and took a slug at him or whatever, right? Now, you might say that seems inconceivable that a player would do that, but D.K. does seem like a
Starting point is 00:01:57 hothead and when you start getting frustrated and things aren't going well for you. Those are the times that you lash out against people and that the shit they talk to you becomes harder to deal with because it just gets more obnoxious when you're struggling. When you're doing well, it doesn't matter, right? People can talk all the shit they want, but you've got scoreboard. You're the one playing well. D.K. just seems like a miserable person out there right now. So he takes the slug at the guy. The guy said he just called him by his government name and he didn't like that and he took a swing at it. Okay, fine. Now, Ocho Cinco was on the nightcap podcast. That is the nightcap podcast. That is the, who is that? That's, what's his name? Shannon Sharp. That is Shannon
Starting point is 00:02:42 Sharp's podcast. And Ocho Cinco has all the intel, according to Ocho Cinco. Yeah, I've just, I got word. Obviously, I'm knocking doning, you know, putting your hands on the fan or punching the fan but he did call him a racial slurry called the N-word and he did call his mama and i think with those words being exchanged and the fans saying that i think that's where the the action you know occurred where he threw i think he threw a punch i'm not sure if he connected or whatever but he did call him the N-word and he called his mama mama i guess the word just say the c-word oh my bad oh that's bad yeah that's bad it's bad it's bad it's It's terrible. It's terrible. It's terrible. All right, fine. Whatever. I forgot that we're not adults here and we can't say adult words here, but okay, whatever. Does anybody believe that? Because I don't. Because we've seen this situation play out so many times or somebody cries wolf or in this case, somebody cries racism. It's bullshit.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Like, call me whatever you want to call me. I find it hard to believe that in 2025, somebody would be sitting right behind an NFL bench and an NFL game and would just be throwing out racial slurs like it's nothing. I find that hard to believe. I don't believe that's going to happen. Like, if it did, somebody would have heard it. Somebody would have been like, like, if this guy's just flippantly throwing out racial slurs, wouldn't somebody next to him eventually be like, whoa, bro, chill? out. Like, I don't believe this at all. Like, none of this makes any sense to me. It's convenient because that's the easiest route to take in a situation where there's a white guy and a black guy
Starting point is 00:04:27 or even an Asian guy and a black guy or Hispanic guy and a white guy or a black guy. It's very easy to just turn it into a, well, he called me the N word and that's fine. And of course, there'll be a giant group of people who will believe you no matter what. Just like there's a giant group of people who believe that Sharon Moore did nothing wrong and he was, he's being scapegoat and that he was set up by white people at Michigan, the white chick he was bang and set him up. Like, no matter what, people can't look with logic. There are groups of people who cannot look at anything with logic. They just have to accept that it's a racial thing.
Starting point is 00:05:03 I do not believe for a second that this guy called D.K. Metcalfe, a racial slur. And here's the thing about that. So now there will be a group of people that are going to be convinced that this guy did this. And this guy whose name is out there because he gave a quote to somebody, he will now be known as the dude who was the racist or the guy that said the racial shit. And it's such bullshit. Like if this guy were just out there slinging racial slurs, somebody would have said something. Somebody might have kicked his ass. I just don't buy it.
Starting point is 00:05:38 It's the same way it kind of reminds me. of many stories, but any time a player gets angry and goes into the stands after someone, it always becomes, well, he said something racial, because it's easy to do that, because it's your word against theirs. No one's ever going to be able to prove it most of the time. So you justify being a hothead dipshit by saying that the guy called you a racial slur. Also, like, what universe is a guy just like randomly yelling that someone's mom is a cunt? Like, where does that happen?
Starting point is 00:06:09 Like, I feel like if some guy's thrown out CNX Tuesdays in the crowd, then someone else might kick his ass because it'll be like, listen, my kids are around. Why are you just yelling that D.K. Metcalf's mom is a CNX Tuesday. Like, come on, man. Like, nobody believes this shit. And then, of course, you run with it. And it makes this guy look like a racist. And there'll be a group of people that will have their weird biases justified or validated by saying, see, all these racist idiots out there. And it's not real and it's not true.
Starting point is 00:06:36 And if it turns out that the guy did call him slurs or whatever, then all that. say I'm wrong, right? But how many times do we see these stories and how many times do they turn out to be bullshit? Generally speaking, they always end up being bullshit. Because as much as people want to live in this world where white people are these bigoted evil devils, generally speaking, when you hear a story about the white devil saying racist shit at a sporting event or out in public, usually it's bullshit, unless we have video of it. Like, we'll see videos. Like there was one that was at like a coffee shop or something the other day where someone just like hardcore got baited into doing this shit and took the bait and then you're dead right that's the end that's the other thing like you have to be really stupid to say racist shit publicly because once you say racist shit publicly it's over for you you don't get jobs like what job like if you're someone that goes viral for saying something racist what job are you going to get you know, what are you going to be able to do?
Starting point is 00:07:38 So most people are not that dumb. Yet, here we are, having Ocho Cinco go on a podcast. And by the way, if this turns out not to be true, like, shouldn't there be some sort of repercussion for Ocho Cinco for just spreading bullshit? Because my guess is his source is probably D.K. Medcaf, right? So DK is probably like, bro, the guy called me the N-word. And he's like, oh, yeah, I buy that. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Let me Google some of this and see what the latest is on this. D.K. Metcalfe because he hasn't spoken because why would he? Steelers wide receiver, blah, blah, blah. Let's see, Lions fan speaks out after altercation with Steelers star. Now that was two hours ago. Daily Mail, what rattled Lions fan said to D.K. Metcalf before Furious NFL Star took a swing? Let's see here.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Detroit, Pittsburgh, blah, blah, blah. He came over because the fan in the stands was holding a four Pittsburgh jersey. He went over and the fan said something to him, CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson said on the broadcast. Obviously, Metcalf did not like what he said and you saw the swipe there. No Steelers came over to him and mentioned anything. In an angle of the incident posted on Instagram, Metcalf walked up to the fan, grabbed him by a shirt collar to pull him closer, then forcefully shoved him back. The fan who threw up his hands up after Metcalf made contact with him
Starting point is 00:09:05 appeared to have a yellow jersey in his hands. Metcalf exited the locker room without taking questions from reporters. The Detroit Free Press spoke to the fan who identified himself as Ryan Kennedy from Picney, Michigan. He said he called Metcalf by his full name, DeKalin Zakarius Metcalf, prompting the interaction. I called him that, and then he grabbed me and ripped my shirt. I'm a little shocked, like everyone's talking to me. a little rattled, but I just want the Lions to win, baby. The fan was not removed from the game, and the Lions told the free press.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Asked about the altercation after the game. Mike Tomlin said, I heard about it, but I hadn't seen it, and I hadn't had the opportunity to talk to D.K., and so I have no comment. Tomlin said that he didn't know when he was made aware of the incident when asked, blah, blah, blah, okay. Now, again, I don't believe this for a second, but this is one of the biggest issues we deal with when it comes to racial shit in this particular country that we live in, the second you start down this path of, oh, he called me something racial, well, then that's just how it stays. Nothing changes. The guy could, D.K. could come out and say he made up the whole fucking thing, and it wouldn't
Starting point is 00:10:16 matter. People would then say, well, he was forced to say that because the league is raises, blah, blah, blah. Like, it's stupid. I just don't buy it. It reminds me, like, we've seen stories with Russ Westbrook. Russell is a noted hothead, right? And he'll go out there and jaw with fans back and forth. Same with, same with Draymond Green.
Starting point is 00:10:41 These are guys that are hotheads and they want to fight with people. And they love to make shit fucking racial. Like, that's the way it works. Dude, there was some jawing that happened in the Golden State game the other day. And Draymond's out there calling home, but he was referring to some dude who's white boy and shit. And it's like, bro. But that's the way this shit is. And, like, I'm not offended by it or anything.
Starting point is 00:11:03 I've been called White Boy my whole life. I played basketball until I was 19 years old. Like, I thought my name was White Boy. Nobody knew my first or last name. My own teammates knew me as Scooby. And everybody else on the other teams knew me as White Boy or goggles. You get out on the court. You know, like, when you call out who you got defensively, usually you'll go, hey, I got number one or I got number 27 or whatever.
Starting point is 00:11:24 They just said, hey, I got White Boy. Like, that's just how it worked. Like, that's the way the shit worked and you just kind of accepted it. But does anybody hearing this story legitimately believe that some guy in the front row of an NFL game was yelling a racial slur at D.K. Metcalf and that's why he came over. Or do they believe even more so that he was just yelling randomly that his mom was a see you next Tuesday? Does anybody buy that? Does anybody hear that and go, oh, yeah, that sounds legit? Anybody listen to that and go, oh, yeah, I can see where that would be the case.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Yeah, I've just, I got word. Obviously, I'm not condoning, you know, putting your hands on the fan or punching the fan, but he did call him a racial slurry, called him the N-word, and he did call his mama. And I think with those words being exchanged, and the fans saying that, I think that's where the action, you know, occurred, where he threw, I think he threw a punch. I'm not sure if he connected.
Starting point is 00:12:27 or whatever, but... See, I feel like whenever you put out that kind of stuff, then you should have responsibility when you put that out there and it turns out to be wrong. That's all. Like, it's just such an easy, lazy way to do things if you're... Because I'm going to guess, D.K. Metcalf gave him this information. I'm giving Ocho Cinco some credit here.
Starting point is 00:12:46 I don't think he's going to go with just some secondhand information. Like, I don't think he went to black sports online and rolled with this. I don't think. Now, granted, these are not reporters. There's no rules for them. so maybe he did maybe he just went to black sports online and black sports online said he called him the N-word so he said fine we're going with it maybe I don't know but either way that's moronic and I just find it hard to believe it's like when the guy was accused of saying the N-word at the
Starting point is 00:13:11 Rockies game everybody's like listen to him you can hear him saying the N-word like as if some dude just sitting at a baseball game would just yell the N-word constantly but everybody went with it all the news outlets went with it and then it turns out he was yelling for the mascot, the dinosaur dinger. Like, what are we doing? Like, and people are just lazy and they want the clicks and they go with it. So my guess is this story is going to fade away. And the reason this story is going to fade away is because they're going to find out that the guy didn't say anything racial. And these people don't want to run with a story unless there's the racial part of it. So we're just never going to hear of this story again. That would be my guess.
