Yeah, hey, who should I take in the Boston game?
Well, statistically speaking.
Nah, no more statistically speaking. I want hot takes.
I want knee-jerk reactions.
That's not really what I do.
Is that because you don't have any knees?

Investing is all about the future.
So what do you think is going to happen?
Bitcoin is sort of inevitable at this point.
I think it would come down to precious metals.
I hope we don't go cashless.
I would say land is a safe investment.
Technology companies. Solar energy.
Robotic pollinators might be a thing.
A wrestler to face a robot, that will have to happen.
So whatever you think is going to happen in the future,
you can invest in it at WealthSimple.

But anyway, so you go to chat GPT and you type in,
why did Don Lemon get arrested?
And they give you the full on breakdown of why Don Lemon got arrested.
And it's not because Don Lemon hates Donald Trump.
But these dishonest, country people go to social media
and they tell you that journalism is under attack.
Journalism isn't under fucking attack.
And if anybody had journalism and freedom of speech under attack,
it was the people that told you that Joe Rogan was taking horse dewormer.
Oh, I know people from CNN, people like Don Lemon.
Right?
The people who've had journalism and freedom of speech under attack
are those who want to de-platform anybody who they felt
was responsible for dangerous rhetoric.
Oh, you mean dangerous rhetoric?
Like, if you support Donald Trump, you're a Nazi?
Molly Ringwald, pretty and pink.
Is that not dangerous rhetoric?
Like we need a reset.
We need a fucking a men in black little device that just war just zaps everybody's memory.
And let's start the fuck over.
Because it will never be fixed.
But first off, I cannot wait till fucking Donald Trump is gone.
I can't wait.
I don't know if it's going to make anything better.
I think it's too far gone and these people are fucking broken and they're all broken
and these zealots are going to continue to fight each other.
But maybe they'll tire them.
themselves out if the big bad Nazi zombie man isn't around anymore if the big bad
boogeyman's not around like I would like I'm just fucking sick of the guy I'm sick of seeing
his fucking face I'm sick of hearing his fucking voice I'm sick of everything about the dude
I voted for him the one time I've ever voted and by the way I would do it again if it came
down to it right now and I could have those fucking lunatics or Trump I'd probably still roll with
Trump if I had to vote but I don't or I probably roll with somebody if they force you
you to vote if there was a gun to your head and they said vote or die literally. I'd probably
vote for the fucking flying spaghetti monster at this point because I don't give a shit.
But I'm so fucking sick to seeing this guy. I say that as someone who probably leans more with
the people who support him than the people who support the other Jemokes. I say that as someone
who voted for Trump once. I don't know if the world's going to get any better when Trump isn't
in office. Maybe it's going to get worse and maybe these people are going to come into power
and maybe they're going to start again silencing the Joe Rogans and everybody else again
because they're going to have that power.
Or maybe we get a hard reset.
Odds are that won't happen because, again, as we discussed,
there will never be an opportunity for a hard reset.
And why will there not be an opportunity for a hard reset?
Because there's too much power in being angry.
But back to the people, the people that have small businesses
and are essentially being bullied by people
into feeling like they should either close down for the day
or go to social media and apologize for doing business.
The number of Instagram posts I have seen from local businesses that I follow,
whether they be in Detroit,
whether they be in Houston or St. Louis or wherever I've lived,
and I follow businesses.
And I say this in defense of these small businesses
because I want them to succeed
and I understand why they feel pressure from these lunatics.
I understand it.
I get it.
You're just trying to run a business.
You're trying to get by in life.
You just don't want to make fucking waves.
I understand it.
Like, I'm not ripping these businesses.
But it's so pathetic that these people feel the need to issue lengthy apologies for doing business.
On this shutdown day, whatever the hell this day is.
Like, brothers, that's super pathetic.
I don't know why I became a minister.
Let me tell you something, brothers.
Like, think about how pathetic that is.
Think about how sorry and sad that is.
That these people, all they're trying to do is their job.
All they're trying to do is make a living.
They own small business.
And I got in trouble for saying this on the radio today
because I called these people losers.
And, of course, somebody called and they're like,
you've lost a listener because you're critical of protest.
I'm not critical of fucking protest.
You want to go out and protest, go out and fucking protest.
Just leave me the fuck out of it.
I don't care, okay?
Go protest about whatever you want to.
protest about. It's your life, okay? But I got admonished a little bit or questioned a little bit
by people in positions of authority because I was asked what benefit there was. They asked me what
benefit there is for me or the radio station for me to go on the radio and call protesters losers.
And I said, no, I didn't call protesters losers.
Didn't call any of them losers.
I said the people who are losers,
and if you want to protest,
listen, I can question whether or not your losers
are not people that start shit at a protest
and are just trying to go viral.
Those people are losers.
Fine, cool.
But the people who are demanding
that people shut down
their businesses to protest
on this random day of protest,
they are losers.
Should you call them losers?
Yeah, I will in this case.
It's like I'm not here to do a political show,
but if we're going to talk about this,
I'll offer you an opinion on it.
But man, like,
the idea that there are people
that just sit around,
and that I'm going to guess
that most of the people
who are urging you to stay home from your job
are either really wealthy, rich people
who are shit starters,
so it doesn't matter to them if they go to work.
They're not working hourly at a dominoes
or at a small business,
or it's people who are going to sit around
and get blazed at home anyway.
So none of this is,
shit matters to them like, oh, big deal, I'll just take a day off of work. Who fucking cares?
I'm a burnout anyway. And they are losers. And that's what I said. But of course, people hear
what they want to hear. And it's, oh, you call protesters losers. No, what I said is, if you're
someone who's going to sit around on your ass and just sit at home today because it's a day of
protest, and you're going to call out people who open up their businesses to the point that they
are forced to issue statements and let you know that we're allies. We're allies. But, uh,
We've got families too, and we're going to stay open.
But just know, we're making a hefty donation to whatever.
Wherever that money's going to go, no one fucking knows.
That's where we are.
So, yes, I got admonished for that.
No one ever calls our radio station, but someone called to basically tell me I was a piece of shit
and that they lost a listener.
I've been listening a long time, and that's not acceptable.
And I'm just going to, look, you've lost a listener,
by calling protesters, peaceful protesters,
you called them losers.
No.
I said people who are taking a day off of work
and then bullying other people to take a day off of work.
Hang, I'm going to guess these people are not taking a day off of work.
They're just doing what they always do,
sitting around doing nothing.
That's who these people are, bros.
Like, that's what we're dealing with.
That's the morons these people are.
These are the dipshits these people are.
And then, like, I mean, like,
I'm not going to rip small businesses,
because again, I admire anybody who opens a business.
I admire anyone who has the guts to take that chance.
Like when I did the podcast initially,
when I brought it back or I guess technically started it in 2019
when me and Jilly started doing this,
at one point I had an LLC and I tried to treat it like it was a real business.
And look, and that's just a very small thing I was doing with like one person.
I didn't have a staff or anything.
And like my life wasn't on the line with it or anything like that.
There are people who's in.
entire lives are on the line with their small businesses.
And one bad day can make or break you.
That's reality, man.
When you're that narrow in the margins are that narrow for you,
a bad day can be a killer.
A snowstorm that knocks you offline for two or three days can kill your business.
And you've got people that have the audacity to make you feel guilty
to the point that you have to apologize for doing business and having a job.
It's pathetic.
It's pathetic.
So, and then you're, it's just, and then you start thinking about like, I told you,
I admire the shit out of these people.
I admire people who try things.
I don't admire people who bitch on the internet.
You're not a winner.
You're not someone who's out there truly making the world a better place.
You're just a squeaky wheel.
You're out there.
You're bitching.
You're chasing clout.
And that's all this little protest.
shit today is that means absolutely nothing.
It's just, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's,
to change anybody's life. And then, of course, the gear shifted today to journalism is under
attack because, you know, Don Lemon was arrested and no one cares to read the details on why
Don Lemon was arrested. It's kind of the same concept of the, you know, you're yelling fire in a
crowded room. You're allowed to do that, but then you're going to get arrested, you know, but like,
then, freedom of speech, I'm allowed to say whatever the fuck I want, freedom of speech.
Yeah, the people that really, they're big freedom fighters now, freedom of speech and all this.
But man, Joe Rogan was taking horsey-wormer.
A Neil Young, big fighter for free speech, always pulls all of his shit off of different platforms
if they say things he disagrees with.
Like, what are we doing?
So, big picture.
And I don't mean to be, you know, a pessimist here, but it's what I do.
big picture here we're all fucked
and I don't think the country's getting any better
do I think that like the country's going to end
and we're going to be in a war no
do I think our lives will continue to go on
yes are we in any grave danger probably not
but if you are someone who sits back
and just wants to be able to wake up in the morning
and not give a fuck about any of this
like do you miss those days
I miss the days of not knowing
what was going on in the world
and not giving a fuck
And I'm not talking about being a 15 year old kid.
My God, what I wouldn't give to go back to being 15, though.
Like when you're in it, that's the saddest part, man.
When you're like in it and you're 15, 14, you're like, can't wait to be 18.
Can't wait.
Like in your mind you're like, man, once I turn 18, I'm fucking hos forever and I'm getting a job
and I'm getting a car in my life.
I can't wait to turn 18 and be an adult.
High school sucks, whatever.
I would give my left nut right now.
Like if this were one of these body switch movies and I go, you know, at the same,
same time as somebody else say, boy, I really wish I can go back to when I was 15 and we would
switch bodies with some 15 year old kid. I would give my left nut to be 15 again. I don't even
care if I know what I know now. Like I can be as ignorant when I go back as I was then. Like I don't know.
I don't have 30 years of experience after the fact, 25 years of experience after the fact.
I can be just as ignorant and know absolutely nothing. I see this all the time from people on social
media. I'll see like a little graphic or something that says,
imagine you woke up tomorrow and this was all a dream and it's still
1995 and you're 10 years old and I'm like, bro, who the fuck you tellin, man?
Who the fuck you telling? Because if you would have told young Josh or young anybody
listening to this in 1996 that you'd have all of this technology and this internet that
has any piece of information you could ever need, or you could ask this robot that's in
your fucking phone, which by the way is also a computer, which by the way also fits in your
fucking pocket. You could ask this robot, you could ask, hey, anything I need to know about anything,
please tell me, and they will tell you. My fucking chat GPT basically did my taxes the other day
when I was trying to get an idea of what I was going to owe. It's like technology is wild.
But if you would have been told in 1996 when I'm, at that point I'm 10 years old and you're going to
have all this technology and all this amazing thing and you can go watch women fap on the fucking
internet and like I mean all the amazing shit but you were going to be told that you know it was
actually going to be used mostly for bad and people are going to become even crazier and it's
going to lead the world to being in fucking turmoil it's like would you believe it so do I believe
anything's getting better not really I will say this though like I've seen what it is with
Trump here in office as president right like I've seen what this world is
