So my bad, my bad. I went long on my lion's bet pod there. So I need to look at this weekend's games and look at some of the matchups. Now, you guys do know where we stand now with our needs and our desires and our wants for the lions. We know this. We know where we need to be. Look, if the lions went out, they're going to get into the playoffs, right? If they go three and one down the stretch, there's a good chance they get in. But again, it's,

a long way to go, but the bet lives. I'll be curious to see if they offer me a cash out at any point, but we'll see. Could win $1,000, we'll see. Anyway, let's play a couple commercials and look at this weekend's matchups. We'll try to guess the lines and everything else. All right, so here we go. Let's start with, let's see, let's take a look at the Seahawks and the Falcons, the Battle of the Birds.

Let's go with this. I'm going to say, first of all, Seattle's going to, well, I don't know. like I dig Seattle. I don't think Atlanta's any good. I think they're talented, but they're not any good. I find it hard to believe that Kirk is going to win some game, even though it's at home against Seattle. I'm going to say Seattle's favored by five and a half is going to be my guess.

And it may be more, but they're on the road. So you assume the three points for the road. I think at home they'd probably be favored by eight, eight and a half. So I'm going to say five and a half Seattle. Seven Seattle. Okay, so even bigger. So that means at home they'd be favored by about 10 over Atlanta. So I gave them a little bit of credit there.

So we're going to say Seattle's going to win that. I just don't buy Atlanta. That NFC West race is going to be good, man. I enjoy it. I enjoy all of those teams. San Francisco is the one that you're kind of like, how do they keep doing this? How do they keep escaping the Reaper?

They're alive, but are they really worth a damn? Like, there's a lot of those factors in there. But as it stands now, I'm going to say, the team I think is going to win that division is going to be the Rams. I think the Rams are the best team in that division. If you give me Matt Stafford versus Brock Purdy or Sam Darnold, I'm taking Matt Stafford. I like the weapons that Matt Stafford has. I like the defense that Matt Stafford has.

Yes, I'm aware they went on the road and lost in the rain, the Panthers last week, fine. I think they are the better team in that division. They have the best team in that division. I think they're going to win that division. And I think Seattle's the second best team in San Francisco would be the third. But I do think Seattle ends up winning this weekend in Atlanta. Cincinnati is at Buffalo. Joe Burrow is back.

Buffalo's a weird team, man. Because Buffalo, my issue with Buffalo is they don't have any weapons. They know they don't have any weapons. Like look around. Like the teams that are successful in the NFL have someone, someone that's a big target, someone that's a go-to receiver. They don't have that. That doesn't exist.

That's not something that exists with them right now, right? So I'm going to go with, look, I think Buffalo is probably going to win. it's at home. Cincinnati's not very good. I'm going to guess that Buffalo is going to be favored by, I mean, honestly, my first thought was five and a half. Maybe that's low, maybe six. But Cincinnati does have Burrow and does have Jamar Chase, so they've got players. Buffalo's defense is fine.

Their offense is kind of anemic. They have no playmakers. And they're losing games that they shouldn't lose. I'm going to say five and a half six somewhere in that neighborhood for Buffalo. Five and a half. Boy, I have a gift. Five and a half was my guess on that. I think Buffalo will win.

I think Buffalo is the better team, but I wouldn't be shocked. Like, that's one of those games where if you told me, you know, Buffalo ends up blowing that game at home to Cincinnati, would you be shocked? And I honestly wouldn't because I don't think Buffalo is good. I think their offense stinks. They're able to run the ball well, but at the end of the day, you need to be able to get the ball down the field vertically, and that doesn't exist for them. They've got a bunch of gadgety type receivers. That's who they are. Keon Coleman and Shakir and those kind of guys.

don't have dudes, they don't have that go-to guy. They don't have that Nico Collins or that C.D. Lamb or that Amin-Ross, St. Brown. That guy doesn't exist for them, and I don't believe in them. Tennessee is at Cleveland? First thought instantly was Cleveland minus one. It might be a little bit higher because their defense is a lot better than Tennessee. This game is a waste of everyone's time, by the way. I might as well just punch yourself in the balls. But I'm going to go with Cleveland minus one, and I think Cleveland's going to win it because defensively they're better. This is an interesting matchup, though, because you got Cam Ward, who everybody dumped on, everybody dismissed.

Everyone wanted to talk about Shudur going into the draft and his slide and what's happening, and is it racist and everything else. Nobody wanted to talk about Cam Ward, right? So I think that makes this matchup interesting. I don't think Cam Ward's very good. I don't think Shadur is very good, so the game itself isn't all that interesting. but I'm going to say Cleveland minus one and it is Cleveland actually

Wow Cleveland minus four and a half I guess they're giving that Cleveland defense a lot of extra love and extra run there so Cleveland minus four and a half Boy they really hate Tennessee and to be fair Tennessee's not any good let's be real Tennessee stinks but Cleveland minus four and a half

giving them a little extra love there let's see Washington is at Minnesota boy this game sucks too Are we getting the quarterback back? Are we getting Jaden Daniels back this week? That's a question, too. And Minnesota's quarterback situation is a mess. I actually think Washington's going to be favored on the road in this game against Minnesota by a point.

That is my guess. Washington minus one. It's actually Minnesota minus one and a half. So they're getting the perk of being at home there. So I think Washington actually goes in there and wins that because I think Minnesota sucks. The fact that the Lions lost to Minnesota, and that's going to be what basically bumps them from the postseason. is truly remarkable losing that game to a bad, bad Minnesota team with dreadful quarterback play. Boy, there's some dreadful matchups here today. Miami and the Jets. I'm going to say Miami

favored by two and a half is my first instinct on that one. Miami two and a half. Miami two and a half. It's exactly Miami two and a half. Boy, I nailed that one. Miami is a better team offensively. than the Jets. The Jets are fine defensively and they may end up winning the game. But what's interesting about Miami is they just keep hanging around, man. Like they're in the, you know, in the hunt graphic at this point. Like are they really any good? Are they actually in the hunt? Maybe not.

But they're in the hunt. And I wouldn't be shocked if they went one because New York has no offense. But let's see, Saints in Tampa. Tampa is going to be favored by seven is my first thought. New Orleans at Tampa. Tampa's actually eight and a half. So like Tampa's got to win. that game. They're now in a dog fight for the division with Carolina. The Saints stink. We know

the Saints stink. So Tampa should end up winning that game at home and they should win it pretty easily against the Saints who are a mess. The Colts in Jacksonville, you know, that's actually a race now. That's a three-team race in the AFC South. Who would have thunk that? That we'd be at a point where it's a three-team race to win the AFC South and Jacksonville's in it. The Texans may be the one that comes out of it. If you're looking at a team that's in the best position to do it. Look at the Texans. You know, look at, you got a broken leg quarterback in Indianapolis. You got the Jaguars who nobody believes in. I'm going to say the Colts are favored by two and a half. I'm going to go Colts two and a half in that one. Is that what I'm going to do.

So Colts, two and a half is going to be the number and it is actually one and a half is going to be the number for the Colts. Let's see here. Then we are going to go to, and I think the Colts are inevitably going to win that, but maybe their offense has kind of hit a snag. I don't know. Pittsburgh at Baltimore. Baltimore is going to be favored by five and a half. They are exactly favored by five and a half. I have a gift for predicting these things. So Pittsburgh at Baltimore, we are going to go and Baltimore is going to win that. And I hope they don't actually because I need Pittsburgh to win two more games for my bet. So Pittsburgh's got to find a couple of wins here down the stretch for the love of God here and find

me a couple of wins. Denver is at L.A. Denver's going to be favored by eight and a half in that game and they are favored by seven and a half. Denver should win. But again, Denver's a team I don't truly believe in. You know how I feel about Denver. I think they just keep lucking out. They're kind of like the AFC equivalent of the Bears. I think they're better than the Bears, but they're kind of like that where they keep winning these games and pulling rabbits out of their hat and pulling off fourth quarter wins. Chicago is at Green Bay. Green Bay is going to be favored by five. They're actually favored by six and a half. That's all you need to know about the Bears. The Bears are going on the road to face a team that record-wise they're very similar to, and they're a six and a half

point underdog in that game. Six and a half point dog to the Packers. The Packers are going to win that. I don't believe in either one of those teams, but the Packers are going to win that, and that's going to help out my bet. That's not just wishful thinking, by the way. I do think Green Bay is going to win. Rams are at Arizona.

The Rams are going to be favored by eight and a half. They are favored by exactly eight and a half. My God, like the first number. I'm like my dad. Now I said I'm like my dad. Josh, I'm just going to throw out this number, and there you go. I have a gift. I guess it comes from the lineage.

The Rams are going, I don't know if the Rams are going to smoke them, though. The Rams struggled on the road last week against Carolina. I think Carolina is probably overall better than the Cardinals, but the Cardinals can move it around a little bit and put up points. The Rams are going to win, but that could be a game that's a little bit tighter than you think. But the last time I said that about Arizona, I think they got wallop by somebody, so maybe they do actually suck. But the Rams are going to win that. The Texans are at Arrowhead taking on the Chiefs on Sunday night. I am going to say that is going to be five and a half can you know yeah five and a half it is three and a half look if the texans pull that one

out man then you're really believing it's not the kansas city's any good either it's not like anybody's looking at kansas city like some sort of great team but there's still the cachet that comes with them there's still the chiefs there's still andy reed it's still mahomes it's still arrowhead it's December it's cold but if the texans go up there and win that then you're really believing man and i think they could they're only a three and a half point dog and then you've got the Eagles at the Chargers. The Eagles are going to be favored by two and a half. Two and a half exactly. Like I don't, like how many of those did I nail? Pretty much like, what, eight out of ten or whatever the number was, 11, you know, nine out of 11, something like that.

But, and I think that you wait for the Eagles to get it right. And I don't know that there is a getting it right. I think this is just who they are. They're dysfunctional. They're kind of a mess. Their offense isn't very good. Like, do you just believe that at some point with a month to go in the season. Somehow, Sequin Barclay is going to start going for a buck 50 again. Do you believe like they're going to find consistently, consistency in the passing game? Do you actually believe that? Because I don't. And the Chargers, though, the thing the Chargers have going against them, and I think the chargers are about to really hit hard times. They're going to fall on hard times.

Why? Because their offensive lines are mess and Herbert's dealing with injuries. So I think the Eagles defense is going to make shit really difficult for L.A. And I think the Eagles will go on the road and win that. But the Eagles are a broken mess. up team right now. And I think we would all agree that they are a broken messed up team. And there you go. That's a look at the games for this weekend. We'll get to some other stuff.
