So, you know that I am a big Sammy Hagar fan, right? Sammy is like my dude. Dude's damn near 80. Sounds amazing. Still puts on a good show. I love his vibe. I prefer Van Hagar to Van Halen, which isn't a super popular viewpoint on shit, I guess. Although I think as time goes on and people see the kind of clown that David Lee Roth is, I think there's a lot of people who, while they may like the music of the original Van Halen better, I think most people really, like Sammy Hagar more than they like David Lee Roth, because David Lee Roth is a stooge. It's a fine interview to listen to. I listened to him on Rogan once, and I was like, oh, this is pretty interesting. But I just, I've never liked him. I think musically, he's got some good

solo stuff. He was great in Van Halen. I'm not dismissing that. And I can understand why people like Van Halen more than Van Hagar. But I'm a, I'm a Sammy guy. I like solo Sammy. I like post Van Halen Sammy. And David Lee Roth has just never really done anything for me that I like. Do I like just like Paradise? Sure. Do I like just a jigolo? Sure. You know, a little ain't enough. Like there's a couple of really good, fun, solo DLR songs. But I'm not some big David Lee Roth guy. I'm a Hagar guy. I saw Hagar last summer in St. Louis. Motley Crew still goes on tour with Def Leopard and other bands, and they play stadiums. And that's 30,000,000 people are paying to see Motley Crew. That means you're sitting there for an hour and a half to two hours of that.

like come on oh god it's so bad oh but look you get what you pay for right and if you decided to pay for that if that was your choice in life and you said hey listen here's what I need I need to go see David Lee Roth so badly that I'm willing like maybe it's a situation where you're like you know what I've never seen him and I got to say I did it I will say that one of my regrets is that 10 years ago, by the way, I think 10 years ago, yesterday or two days ago. A couple days ago was like nine years since I got fired in Philadelphia, right? That was in 2016.

I like 5150 better. I like OU812 better. Like, I just like these albums better. But, God, David Lee Roth. It's just like, I don't, like, you can argue, like, you're stealing from people. They're willfully pain and that information is out there. Those videos are out there. If people want to see you singing like shit and want to make their decision about whether or not they're going to see you based on those videos, they can't.

And who am I to judge? If Vince Neal were in town tonight, I'd be going to see Vince Neal. And he is the worst singer of all time. So who am I to judge? Anyway, more to come.
