Starting point is 00:00:25 We'd love to talk, business. So I enjoy this story of Jumar Chase spitting on a dude during the game and then lying about spitting on the dude during the game and then doubling down on the lie of spitting on a dude during the game and then now apologizing for spitting on a dude during the game. Like grown-ass men who spit on other grown-ass men are like really the lowest of the low. Right up there with dudes who kick other dudes in the balls. You know exactly what it feels like to get kicking the balls and you know that that's not the right move and you know it's a bitch move but you do it anyway.
Starting point is 00:00:58 It's like that, and it's like spitting. Anyway, let's get into this. Let's break down this apology from Jemar Chase, who wrote a whole apology letter and feels terrible right now about the fact that he spit on a dude after lying about spitting on a dude as if there's not a thousand cameras, chief. Anyway, I'm in a mood today. I'm feeling feisty today. We will do that after these words. All right. Let's see here.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Here's the story. Bengals' wide receiver, Jamar Chase, apologize Monday for spitting on Steelers' defensive-backed Jalen Ramsey. In a statement released on Instagram, Chase said he took full responsibilities for his actions in the team's game against the Steelers on November 16th. Chase was suspended without pay for one game after the NFL concluded that he spit on Ramsey during a heated exchange in the week 12 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The incident was not seen by officials during the game, but was cited by Ramsey as the cause for the punches and altercation, which led to his ejection. Let's see. Chase says what I did was wrong. The circumstances don't matter. My passion for the game is no excuse. There's no place in our sport or in life for that level of disrespect. Yeah, it's fucking nasty to spit on people. Congratulations. Now, mind you, my man denied this for a while. So he was fined about 14 grand. After the game, Chase denied the action and said he never opened his mouth to that guy. Chase declined to speak on report or two reporters at a media availability the day following the game. so I do not take my position as a role model lightly chase said as someone who strives to lead with character and authenticity I should have taken immediate accountability from what happened what you should have done is never spit on the dude like I think there's a lot of things that you can kind of get away with and understand in the heat of the moment type shit like you can give me heat of the moment you can say like you know dude you punched a guy even though you're a moron if you punch a dude wearing a helmet that's stupid but like in the heat of the moment someone pisses you off you shove them you punch them you talk shit to him whatever there's a lot of things you're you can do and I get that but there's never an excuse to spit on someone because spit is just
Starting point is 00:03:02 disgusting it's gross I don't even care about the lack of respect like like everybody loves to talk about respect like what an ultimate sign of disrespect like oh you do disrespect that man disrespect me all you want I don't give a fuck don't spit on me like respect shes smacked who gives a shit but don't spit on somebody whether it's disrespectful or not it's gross as shit to my team fans and the Bengals organization, the Steelers organization, and the NFL community, please know I am speaking from my heart when I say I take full responsibility for my actions during last Sunday's game at Pittsburgh, or, you know, someone is taking full responsibility for it. Whoever the hell wrote this little letter is the person taking responsibility for it. What I did was wrong. The circumstances don't matter. My passion for the game is no excuse. I enjoy that that would be the argument. I'm passionate about the game, so I spit on this guy. No one cares more about football than I do, and I just spit on. this guy to prove how passionate I am about the game. And I like
Starting point is 00:03:59 Jamar Chase a lot. And I like the bet on Jamar Chase a lot. But that's bitch shit, bro. Spitting on people and then saying, well, it's no excuse to say passion for the game. No, it isn't. I'm passionate about a lot of shit. I don't spit because of it. I'm passionate about radio.
Starting point is 00:04:15 If someone came up to me and talked shit about radio, I wouldn't go, hey, asshole, like, what do you do it? I understand it's not apples to apples. I get that. You're in the heat of the battle. It's the football field blah blah blah blah blah fine I want to personally apologize to everyone within the Pittsburgh Steelers organization I let my emotions in the moment get the better of me I can only hope and trust you know none of it represents who I am not as a competitor a teammate or a person
Starting point is 00:04:43 well the thing is though it kind of is that's who you are now you're the guy who spits I wouldn't have cared if you punched a guy tackle the guy shoved a guy like punched him in the face I don't care. Spitting on someone is the ultimate bitch move. I don't even care about the lack of respect. I hear about that all the time. You disrespect that man. I don't give a shit. People disrespect each other all the fucking time. It's 2025. That's all we do is disrespect people. But spitting on someone is just disgusting and it's bitch behavior. I also want to apologize to the coach, as teammates, and organization for not meeting my own standards as a leader of the team. This has been a tough season with some incredibly hard losses. We've all been frustrated. But instead of
Starting point is 00:05:23 stepping up with the calm, class, and leadership, I let you down. I don't need this bullshit. I don't need this bullshit. By saying, hey, it's been a tough year, and I know things have been tough. And then I spit on a guy because of that. Spare me your bullshit. Spare me the bullshit, Jamar Chase. Save it. Hey, guys, it's been a real tough season.
Starting point is 00:05:42 So I just want to let you guys know that that's the way you try to soften the blow and try to have people understand why a grown man would spit on another dude. God, it's been a tough season with some incredibly hard losses. Great. By saying that, you are trying to lay the groundwork that it's been a difficult year therefore, hey, I spit on a guy. And I understand that in the comment you say, but instead of stepping up with calm class and leadership, I let you down.
Starting point is 00:06:07 My having to sit out yesterday's game makes my actions even more inexcusable. I won't let it happen again. Like, again, like we're fully aware that your team sucks. but just by even adding that. Like, you don't need to put out a whole damn message, okay? And he's not done, by the way. There's still more. Finally, I want to apologize to my fans.
Starting point is 00:06:28 I do not take anyone who wears my jersey for granted. I do not take my position as a role model lightly. As someone who strives to lead with character and authenticity, I should have taken immediate accountability for what happened. I'm committed to earning back your respect, not just with words, but with my actions day after day. Like, okay. And on the other hand, you spit on a guy. You didn't go out there and fuck around on your wife or kill somebody.
Starting point is 00:06:48 You spit on a guy. Here's what you need to do. You come out, you say, hey, I got suspended for this. I spit on that dude. We had a back and forth. I'm sorry that it happened. I'm sorry that I had to get suspended for it. It was bad.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Whatever, we move on. Like the idea that it requires some lengthy press release about spitting on a guy. My Christ, your team sucks. I'm sorry I let the team down. You didn't let anybody down. Your team fucking sucks with or without you. Like, just come out and say, hey, I'm sorry I did that. I'm sorry I lied about it.
Starting point is 00:07:17 You caught me. I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. And by the way, he never apologized to the guy that he actually spit on either. Which, if you're not going to come out and publicly apologize to the guy you spit on, but you're going to apologize to every other person. Hey, I'm sorry to all the kids who wear my jersey. And I'm sorry to my coaches.
Starting point is 00:07:34 I'm sorry to my teammates. I'm sorry to Cincinnati. I'm sorry to the NFL. I'm sorry to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hey, how about you have publicly apologized to the guy you spit on? There's a concept, Jamar. step up and say, hey, dog, sorry I spit on that guy. I shouldn't have spit on that dude, but I did spit on that dude.
Starting point is 00:07:53 And we had a back and forth, and it was what it was, but I shouldn't have done it. What I don't need is some lengthy diatribe about how it's been a rough year, but a tough season. And because of that, like, look, that's no excuse. I'm going to throw that out there so you know it is an excuse, but I'm not going to use that as an excuse. But it is an excuse because I included it in this lengthy letter that I wrote when all I had to do was just say, hey, I'm sorry. I fucked up, I lied, I shouldn't have done that. Motion's got the best to me. I'm an asshole, move on.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Like, why can't people just say those type of things in apology? Just say, I was an asshole and I fucked up onward. Like, why do people have to put together long-ass rambling emails that they clearly didn't write or letters or statements that they clearly didn't write that somebody else wrote for them and act like that's who they are? Like, Jamar Chase ain't ever saying any of this shit. I promise to keep learning from this. Okay, what do you have to learn from? Don't spit on people. there, I've learned. Don't spit on people. And I have to set a higher standard for myself moving
Starting point is 00:08:50 forward with respect, Jamar Chase. Oh, fuck off. Like, I actually like you less because of this. Not because you apologize. Like, I understand, like, the apology part of it. Like, you got suspended. You've been caught. Here's what you apologize for. You apologize because you lied. You apologize because you fucked up. And you move on. Not some lengthy worry. Like, I've had to do this type of shit before, right? We have to write the fake apology. Like, oh, I'm so sorry. that I did this, and I'm going to do better. Like, no, you're not. Like, you're not a bad person because you spit on a dude.
Starting point is 00:09:21 It's gross and it's nasty and you shouldn't do it. But, like, you're not a bad human because you spit on someone. Like, you're writing a letter, like, you're fucking, like, you're somebody that sets dogs on fire and you're going to try to learn from it. Or you're someone who diddled somebody, now you're in jail, and you're trying to write for, like, you know, get your release early for parole. You spit on a guy in a football game. Big fucking deal.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Like, it's gross, and I think you're disgusting for doing it, and it's bitch behavior but like the idea that we're sitting here going i've got to do better and i'm going to do better and i'm sorry to the kids and blah blah blah blah blah like dude you didn't go and dittle somebody and go to jail like i love when people write these apology letters or have somebody write apology letters for them that sound like they're trying to get paroled like i've learned from my actions and i think that once i get on the outside i'm going to take everything i've learned in here and really use it to my benefit and i've learned uh the error of my ways and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and you don't need all that just say hey i fucked up
Starting point is 00:10:20 i'm sorry like i spit on a guy again it's not the end of the world like hey fun fact there's a guy standing on the sideline mentoring shader sanders who came to the game on sunday his name is deshawn watson he's a serial jerker offer predator that guy standing on the sideline getting paid millions of dollars to do nothing and jimar chase is over here writing lengthy Bill Clinton type apology state of the union shit over spitting on a guy during a football game
Starting point is 00:10:49 where they all tackling and hit each other anyway. It's not the real world. Anywho, like my God, there's nothing worse than a fake apology. Nothing. That is the pits. Anyway, more to come.
