So I'm extremely annoyed by the lack of prop bets that are showing up early this week.
And I know that a lot of teams are dealing with injuries.
So it's hard to find the prop bets on some of these sites.
Like usually on Thursday night when I watch the Thursday game, I write out all my prop bets for the show.
The problem I'm running into here is that a lot of the games don't have all the full props up
because you're dealing with a ton of injuries in the league and you don't know who's going to play.
So it's becoming tougher and tougher to do prop to you drop when I usually record.
this, which is on Fridays. So, uh, that, that parts of pain in the ass. So what I'll do here
is I am going to look at the games for this weekend. We'll give you a breakdown of some of
these games and let you know what we think. But, uh, first, we're going to play a couple
commercials. It's hockey season, and you can get anything you need delivered with Uber Eats.
Well, almost, almost anything. So no, you can't get a nice rank on Uber Eats. But iced tea,
ice cream, or just plain old ice? Yes, we deliver those.
No, but chicken tenders, yes, because those are groceries, and we deliver those too, along with your favorite restaurant food, alcohol, and other everyday essentials. Order Uber Eats now. For alcohol, you must be legal drinking age. Please enjoy responsibly. Product availability varies by region. See app for details. All right, let's see here. Taking a look at the games, obviously last night you had the Steelers and the Bengals, and the Bengals saved their season, their three and four. I also have an irrational hatred for their coach. Like, I hate, you know how there's people you just hate the look of? And you say, I know,
that that's not Christian to judge people in that way.
And maybe he's a real nice guy.
But I really hate the look of Zach Taylor.
He just has a look that I dislike.
And he has one of those faces where sometimes it looks like he's smiling, but he's not smiling.
And there's just something really annoying about that.
So I really dislike the coach of the Bengals.
But I like the Bengals.
And I'm glad they won that game.
And they're right there in the middle of that division race.
And we told you that the Steelers weren't particularly good.
But you got to watch Joe Flacco throw for 342 and A.Rodge damn near
throw for, what did he throw for, like, 250? And you're like, that was just a hell of a game.
And then the throw Aaraj made to score the touchdown to take the lead. Like, there was so
much about it that was just fucking awesome. Just a great football game last night. A,
a rousing football game. If you're like old school, middle-aged dudes out there sling and show
an old man strength, like when you'd watch the dudes at the Jewish rec center bully a bunch of
young bucks, that's what it felt like last night. It was a thing of beauty. Now, looking at some of the
games that haven't happened yet were in London at Wembley Stadium and the Jaguars take on the
Rams. The issue the Rams are running into, and this is their issue, is that Pooka Nukua continues
to be hurt. And that's a huge loss for them if he's not playing. So he didn't practice
yesterday. So we don't know if Puka's going to play or Pooka's not going to play, but he's
a huge factor for them because the guy gets like 10 catches a game. So whether or not he plays
is a huge factor for him. He's a huge factor for Matt Stafford, who's having a great season as well.
Jaguars are interesting too because they're another team that I don't think is really all that good.
Both teams are four and two. I think the Rams are a better football team than the Jaguars.
But if the Rams are dealing with issue at wide receiver, you got to make the travel.
I don't know. This is a weird game. I'm having a hard time with this one. The Rams are favored.
I think the Rams are going to win. And that would be beneficial to teams like the Texans who are trying to stay alive in that division and trying to stay alive in the race.
Now, obviously the cults of the team they're chasing. But as well as the Jaguars.
but it's an interesting one.
This is a tough one to get a read on for me,
but I think the Rams are going to win,
but it's hard to tell until you get all the players involved.
The Saints are at the Bears.
The Bears are only a four and a half point favorite against the Saints,
and the Bears are an interesting team because they've won three in a row.
You know that I love the skill guys from the Bears.
They're just loaded with talent, Romo Dunes A and Swift,
and DJ Moore.
And we haven't really seen Colston Loveland really shine,
but they think he's going to be really good,
but then they've got sure-handed Cole Commet who can make a couple of plays for them.
They are just stacked with talented dudes.
And I am actually a Caleb Williams believer.
He's a weirdo, but I think the guy can play.
Like, I think he's a guy that can get a dead.
But then what's funny is you watch guys like Caleb Williams playing.
When he throws for, you know, 200 yards, we think it's a big deal.
Then you watch old-ass Joe Flacco go out there and show you how to play man football and he throws for 352.
Like, what are we doing?
Like, you watch some of these young quarterbacks.
I'm not convinced that Caleb Williams sucks.
And I'm not convinced that Cam Ward sucks.
He's played like six games in his entire career.
But you watch those guys and you're like, are they ever going to be a type of player that can just do what Joe Flacco did yesterday?
Like these old school grown-ass men quarterbacks, Rogers and Flacko and Matt Stafford.
Like, are these guys ever going to be those guys?
Are you ever going to, like, will Caleb Williams ever be Joe Flacco, which I know sounds ridiculous?
And I don't mean in the type of game he plays, but I mean in old school, cockstrong old man
that goes out there and just spins it for 350 yards at 40 years old.
Like the thing about Caleb is, and I think he can be good, but their offense is pretty
inept a lot of the time, and that's with some of the best playmaker.
Dude, Luther Burden has been a huge part of what they do now.
They are just stacked with skill guys, yet there are oftentimes way too many times that
their offense just stalls and sputters, and part of that, I mean, they got the coordinator
to get it done. They got one of the best offensive coordinators
now as their head coach and Ben Johnson.
But you watch it and you're kind of like,
is Caleb ever going to be that dude?
I haven't written him off. And I'm
kind of a truther. But then
I watched fucking Flacco go for
352 and I'm like, if that's the bar,
Caleb ain't ever going to be that.
And then you got the Saints.
The Saints are interesting because outside of getting
their ass is kicked by Seattle.
You know, they lost by 6 to the Patriots.
They beat the Giants.
they lost by two scores to the bills, but that game was closer than the final score.
I mean, it was pretty close for most of the game.
Five point loss to the 49ers, seven point loss to the Cardinals.
And Spencer Rattler's not been bad.
Like, if you watch what you've gotten out of Spencer Rattler this year,
he's a guy that'll throw for a little over 200 yards a game.
Like, he's nothing special.
But for the most part, he hasn't turned the ball over a ton.
You know, he's seven touchdowns, two picks.
Like, it's not like he's been all.
awful, right? So, like, you look at his numbers. He's had one terrible game, really. He was
very good against Buffalo. But outside of that, like, he's been pretty solid the last two weeks.
Guy's been averaging almost eight yards of completion, like, an attempt at least. He's not
terrible. Like, do I think he's the future of the franchise? Probably not. But would it shock
me if the Saints went on the road and won the game? No, not really. Like, they could beat the
Bears. The Bears have won three in a row. They've beaten some shit teams.
Obviously, they've had some decent play, too, and they've played better, but still.
Dolphins and Browns, apparently it's supposed to be windy and rainy in this game,
so it kind of bodes well for the Browns, who are a two-and-a-half-point favorite.
Unfortunately, I told Ali in her pool to take the Dolphins for some ungodly reason in her suicide pool,
and I don't think that's going to hit now, now knowing what I know about the weather.
The Dolphins are a train wreck. The Browns are a train wreck.
These are just two fucking train wreck teams.
Two is out there shitting on the teammates saying they don't come to meetings,
but then apologizing to them for it.
They are a mess.
Patriots and the Titans, Patriots should win that one rather easily.
I think the Patriots are legitimately a solid team, and the Titans are legitimately shit.
I don't think you're going to get the win-one for the Gipper.
Coach just got fired, galvanized effort from the Titans.
They're just terrible.
They're not very good.
And I think the Patriots should go on the road and beat them.
Throw in the fact that you got Vrable going back to Nashville, and you know he wants to shove it up Amy Adams.
He wants to fucking kick their ass.
So I think the Patriots are going to go out and wax these guys.
And I don't think that he's going to feel bad about it either.
So if they have a chance to twist the knife a little bit, I think Vrable's going to twist the knife a little bit
because he still thinks he was unceremoniously dumped.
And he may have dodged a bullet anyway.
He's probably going to be glad he got fired there because the Titans are a joke.
The Raiders and the Chiefs, now the Chiefs are playing better football.
The Raiders are not good.
They play tough every year, but the Chiefs should win this when they're a 12-and-a-half-point favorite.
Now, I don't know if they're 12-and-a-half-point favorite good over the Raiders, especially on a short week.
Tougher game against the Lions they played on Sunday.
I say a short week.
They played late on Sunday.
So we'll see.
But that's a game the Chief should win.
The Raiders are a mess and not even really enjoyable to watch.
Eagles and Vikings is an interesting one because I don't really buy the Vikings, but they're at home.
And you got Carson Wentz.
And it's not like he has to go to Philadelphia and deal with the backlash from the people.
So, and I think he obviously wants to show something.
too. There's nobody associated with this Eagles team really at this point that has anything
to do with or against Carson Wentz, but Carson Wentz still probably has a chip on his
shoulder about the Eagles. So he's getting another opportunity to go at it with the team that
he probably feels treated him like shit too. So I'd be interested to see what Wentz does.
And they're at home, which is beneficial to them. If they were on the road, I think it'd be
a different story because I think Philly would make this dude's life a nightmare. But I think
at home with these weird cult skull people, I think that he can play well.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Vikings won.
I mean, the Phillies only a two-and-a-half-point favorite.
And the Eagles have bad quarterback play.
The Eagles have disgruntled receivers.
The Eagles can't get Saquan Barclay going.
So they're far more of a mess than, I mean, look, they appear to be a mess.
They might be more of a mess than they appear to be.
And as we mentioned in an earlier episode,
you think A.J. Brown's happy watching J. Mar Chase get 18 targets and 14 catches
while he's over here gasping for air to get four catches.
So you think he's going to be pissed off.
But I don't think that's going to be a productive pissed off because ultimately he's at the mercy of his quarterback getting him the ball.
Panthers and Jets, yeah, we're just going to pass on that one.
The Panthers are a point and a half favorite.
And as Jilly would say, well, the Jets have to win at some point.
Do they?
They kind of fucking suck.
Giants and Broncos.
This are two quarterbacks that I like.
Bo hasn't played as well lately, but you get my man Jackson Dart on the road.
Denver pisses me off because I don't think Denver's any good.
They barely beat the Jets last week.
If you look at what the Broncos have done this year, they're four and two, but how much of that is schedule?
Now, give them credit, they beat the Eagles, a good win for them.
Then they've also beaten the Titans.
They lost to the Colts and the Chargers, two of the better teams on their schedule.
They beat the Bengals, who without Joe Burrow and a team that was tossing out Browning at the time was one of the worst teams in the NFL.
It wasn't Flacco, it was Browning.
Then you throw in the Eagles who, look, that's a good win.
The Eagles are a good football team.
got their issues, but that's a good road win for them.
Then they beat the Jets 13 to 11.
And that was in like London or some such shit last week.
So that's what you're dealing with.
How good are they and how much of what they've done is because they've beaten a bunch of dipsets?
Now, the Giants are dipshits.
So they should win that game.
You circle the dipshits on the schedule.
You go, hey, we're going to beat the dipshits.
So it should be a game that Sean and Company wins.
But I'm not a believer in the Broncos.
I don't buy them.
But, you know, the Giants could win that one.
I mean, the Broncos are a seven and a half point favor.
There could be a little upset special there.
I mean, the Giants are probably going to get their asses kicked.
But if my man slings it around a little bit, he could put a little pressure on the Broncos.
By the way, it's not like the Broncos have gone out there and whipped anybody's ass.
They beat the Titans by 8.
The Bengals, they whipped their ass.
They beat the Eagles by four and they beat the Jets by two.
So could this be a scenario where, you know, there's a cover here for the Giants?
I think that's in play.
Colts and Chargers, the Chargers escaped with a win last week, or they would have been in bad.
shape. I think that would have been three losses
in a row, but instead they get the win. I think
there's going to be a lot of offense in this game, a lot of
passing in this game, a lot of passing yards
in this game in California. So
this is actually going to be a fun one to watch. Circle this
one. The Chargers are a slight
favorite.
I think they're going to win. My first
instinct is Chargers to win in this
game. They're at home, although there's no real
home field advantage for these LA teams.
But I look at that game and circle that
and go, I think the Chargers can win that. Colts,
again, I like the Colts, and they're much better than the world thought they would be,
and Daniel Jones has been legit.
He's not someone you're going to shit on, but I think the Chargers at home get it done.
Commanders and Cowboys, again, first thought that comes to mind is Cowboys win that
because the Cowboys are a different team at home.
They're 1-0-1 at home, but they score a shit ton of points at home, and I think they can
win that game.
And it's a game that the commanders, look, they're kind of a need-to-win spot, but the Cowboys
are desperate as well.
at home. The Cowboys can score a ton of points. They can't stop you from scoring points.
So I would expect an over in this game. The over under is 54.5. Take the over because
there's going to be a shit ton of offense in that one. Packers and Cardinals, I would think
the Packers are going to win that. Although Jacoby Brissette, I don't know what the quarterback
situation is at this point. But Brissette looked good last week. But I'd say Packers are
going to win this. They're a six and a half point favorite. Falcons and Niners. I think
this is a good spot for the Niners. Falcons coming off a short week, a game, an upset win at home.
I'm going to take the 49ers to win that one, although they continue to deal with injuries,
but Mack Jones has been spectacular.
They just keep finding ways to survive, and I think they win this one and get to five and two.
Bucks and Lions, I'm going to take the Lions to win.
Both teams are beat up in different spots.
The secondary is an issue right now for the Lions because they're not healthy there,
and they have a suspension of branch.
But then the Buccaneers are missing virtually all of their wide receivers.
I haven't seen an update on that unless I'm missing something,
but they're still missing a ton of talent in the past catching department and Bucky
Irving. So I think that the
rabbit's foot runs out on Baker
in this one. Doesn't mean I think he sucks. Doesn't mean
I don't think they're good. Doesn't mean I don't think he's a legit
MVP candidate. But I think
Jared Goff gets the job done on Monday Night
football and they win that one. I just
don't think they're going to be able to stop them. And then
the Texans and the Seahawks, I think
the Seahawks are going to win that one in Seattle
and the Texans are going to fall the two and four
and that's really going to just kick them in the balls.
It is a must win for the Texans. I don't
think they're going to win it because Seattle
can spin it. Now, if you can force
some turnovers. I think it's a different story. I don't think Sam
Darnold's great by any means, but he's been good. His numbers are good. The
Texans have given up the fewest points of any team in the league. So if you've given
up the fewest points of any team in the league, are you legit? Are you illoget? Is that
real? Is it fake? You've got to look at the teams you've played. Can you get the job
done? We'll see. But you're going to have to force turnovers on the road to win that
game. And you have to show that your offense is actually improving. And it wasn't
fluky that you had a good fourth quarter against the Titans and then had one good game. Like,
What are you? So we'll have to see. But anyway, more to come.
