But I was watching his little video today where he's talking about the black coaches and how they're 1 and 11.
And this is some sort of great sign of how, like, black people don't respect black coaches.
I'm like, dude, one of those 0 and 4 black coaches you're talking about is D'Amico Ryans, who went to the playoffs three years in a row.
One of those guys is Todd Bulls, who I don't believe to be a great coach, but he's gone to the playoffs.
Like, like, you just waited for this opportunity to jump in here and pander to a bunch of fucking Charlottesville Hillbillies.
God, and that's all you've got.
The idea that McAfee can transition for the moms in the living room is such a fucking farce, too.
Stop blaming Ryan Day, Whitlock said.
They do not force Fox to hire a Michigan troll to needle Ohio state,
and they do not force Portnoy to be Portnoy every Saturday morning.
Fox gambled that internet fame would translate to broadcast comfort, and it lost.
I think that maybe, just maybe, Dave Portnoy has a little bit more going for him than quote-unquote internet fame.
By the way, Dave Portnoy did something more than Jason Whitlock's ever going to fucking do
and saved a bunch of business.
Well, I bet the frumpy old fucking Whitlock was sitting back in his underground bunker during the Rona
bitching about everything else.
You know what Dave Portnoy did?
Found money to help keep businesses afloat.
And you can say, well, that's done for show and that's it.
It doesn't matter.
There were businesses that were kept afloat.
People's livelihoods were saved by Dave Portnoy.
What has Jason Whitlock done for anyone, except sitting his little underground bunker
shitting on Stephen A. Smith and people all day and shitting on black people all day because
that's his fucking act, because he's got his fucking riled up group of many David Dukes that watch his
shit.
Fucking dope.
Like, I know it sounds like, wow, look at you stumping for porn.
I will.
I will stump for the guy.
Because I admire people who went out and built their own fucking thing.
and it built an army of people
and it's arguably the greatest star maker of this era.
Like Pat McAfee is one of the biggest stars on the planet right now.
He started at Barstool.
He's a bigger star than Dan Lebitard who was on ESPN.
He's a bigger star than Dan Patrick who was on ESPN.
He's a bigger star than any of these people
whose star was created on one of these mainstream networks.
He's a bigger star than all these people.
He's a bigger star than Linda Cohn sitting in her fucking kitchen.
He's a bigger star than any of these people.
And that was created by Dave Portnoy.
Portnoy is not a victim of crying Ryan Day.
He's a victim of the wrong medium.
Back on his phone where fans opt in, Portnoy wins.
So he's lying to himself.
Jason Whitlock tells Dave Portnoy to stop blaming Ryan Day for his own issues.
Jason Whitlock is truly non-talent.
This is one of the few things I would agree with Nick Ride on.
Wright used to shit on Whitlock all the time
because they were both on the radio in Kansas City
at the same time and Whitlock would talk about how
you know that Nick
wishes he was black and then
whatever. But my God
Whitlock's insufferable.
Like Portnoy
like everybody wants to compare
Pat McAfee
to like Howard Stern. He's kind of like the Howard
Stern of this area. They say that because
he makes himself a victim all the time. That's why he
performs a fucking album about how he performs a fucking album about
how everybody hates him.
Like every day it's some sort of grievance towards him.
Dave Portnoy went out and created a world, made the world, and made stars in that world.
Stars who are mainstream stars, by the way.
Call her daddy on X-M is getting like $100 million.
Bussing with the boys is now on ESPN.
Bussing with the boys, no one's going to care about what those two guys are saying if they're not on barstool.
Who created barstool, who made that world?
Portnoy.
Pat McAfee wouldn't be on everything ever.
If not for Barstool.
This isn't difficult.
So I consider myself a portnoy stand, I guess, to a degree.
Like, he annoys the shit out of me a lot, too.
Like, I'm annoyed by his ability to, like, like, when he goes out and goes nuts over that bullshit win that Michigan had over Western Michigan.
Like, I find him annoying.
I don't like everything he does.
I'm not like some Swifty where every piece of shit Taylor Swift put out is like some sort of epic thing that,
that you just don't understand.
Like, I don't operate in that world.
But Portnoy is a star maker.
And the idea that some frumpy fuck like Jason Whitlock
is sitting around in his basement making a YouTube show
for a bunch of Klansmen,
and he's going to tell you that Dave Portnoy sucks
and that Dave Portnoy didn't resonate with people on TV
and then try to make it sound like Pat McAfee
as some choir boy while he's out there.
You want to talk about frat?
they have turned college game day into a frat house just like they claim that Portnoy was trying to do.
I get all the people chant and suck that tiger dick, bitch.
People are throwing out curse words on TV now like it's nothing.
Like, oh, I forgot that McAfee has nothing to do with that.
I don't know, man.
And look, I admire McAfee, too.
The guys built a giant universe and a giant fan base.
But, like, I don't know.
These people like Whitlock are the absolute worst.
I mean, I'm watching that today, and I'm like, like, how do you even come up with this shit?
Like, do you sit down with a group of people or just by yourself, like you're sitting your fat ass on the commode in the morning?
You're like, hey, just noticed that there are three NFL head coaches that happen to be black, and they're like one and 11 so far this year.
That sounds like something I can turn into a discussion about how young black people don't respect black men authority because they never had daddies.
That sounds like a solid strategy.
And let me find a way to work Dion into this, too.
I'm like, Jesus Christ, dude.
Like, it is such a joyless thing to listen to.
Like, I can't imagine being, like, and you can accuse me of being joyless.
I'm like a fucking, you know, human version of Eeyore.
I get that.
But, like, it's got to be tough because on one hand,
and look, if anybody knows about not being able to make it on TV, it's Whitlock.
But, like, I watch this.
And, like, it's got to be tough.
to get up every day and you make this decision.
And this decision is that your audience is going to be like,
like I don't believe you should get up and try to pander to black people if you're black.
I think a lot of people do that and they become successful doing that.
But like I don't think you should do that either.
But your act shouldn't be the opposite of that, which is, hey, I'm a black guy.
Let me tell you why black people suck other than like Tony Dungey and people who go to church,
which is essentially his act.
Every time I've ever watched him, it's like, hey, Tony Dungey is a great black man, you know, because he goes to church.
And like, well, you talk about grievances and talk about people being aggrieved.
People like Kim who are like, oh, you know, you can't be religious and be on TV and bliggity, bleak, like my God, dude.
That is just hard to wrap my brain around that anybody would watch that and get joy.
Actually, let's play a fun game.
This sounds like a fun game here.
Let's read the comments and see who are the people commenting on Jason Whitlock videos.
Let's go to YouTube.
That sounds like a fun game.
Let's see who comments on Jason Whitlock stuff.
Let's see.
Let's look up Jason Whitlock.
Jason Whitlock.
Fearless.
He's fearless.
He says.
I'm Jason.
He's got 594,000 subscribers.
So let's go to this video, the uncomfortable conversation.
This is the one about black coaches.
Okay, so let's see here.
Where are the comments on this?
Show me your comments.
Okay, here we go.
Let's see.
This is about par for the course.
First comment I see on this video.
I hate the trend of players celebrating a first down by pointing when their team is significantly down in points.
I'm going to go out of the limb and guess how many balls that guy has hanging from the back of his truck.
Now, this person's name is Glenn Powell 6412.
facts it's a culture issue as a retired naval officer it was much harder for me to lead black sailors than sailors who were white and other nationalities it frustrated me beyond words i can only imagine how this must be at the nfl level that's glen powell 6412 yes that is chad powers who has that to say coach lannin summed up sanders the best quote he can play his game in hollywood and he will play our game on the grass
He plays for clicks. We play to win.
Like, again, there's nothing wrong with white people being your audience,
but it is problematic when white people are your audience,
and your entire schick is that black people are awful.
That's not a great look for the people commenting.
Dion has a problem with accountability.
Wow, Jason, you hit the nail on the head with that analysis.
Gee, thanks Douglas Hairston.
Douglas Hairston's here to drop bombs.
Sanders' type of leadership will never work.
Jason, your monologues are second to none.
I know you must do your own writing,
and I'm always amazed how good your rants are.
Your choice, metaphors, and examples keep me coming back.
And the fact that I'm probably a racist white guy,
if I had to guess.
And again, I'm not telling you that the audience for these things has to be,
I'm not telling you that if you're a black person
you have to pander to black people
and if you're a white person
you have to pander to white people or whatever
you listen to me enough, you know that.
Like I'm not here to pander to any particular group.
In fact, I'm quite the opposite
of that. I hate everyone, pretty much
equally. Although I probably hate a certain
group of political group
slightly more, but I hate most people
pretty equally.
I'm old enough to remember when
Morgan versus Grambling was a yearly
big event, Earl Banks and Eddie Robinson
were sending their players to the NFL.
not a ton of them.
Coach Sanders, while wearing the headset,
didn't know the fake punt play was called until it happened.
He looked surprised, blah, blah, blah.
Tony Dungey was black but didn't embrace black stereotype,
said this person who's probably white.
As a black man, I always question when people say,
as a black man, when they comment on stuff,
because I wonder if that's just a white person.
As a black man, we have this weird thing
that we actually see the problem in our community and culture,
but we're afraid to see it out loud.
Not you, Jason, you hero.
Let's see.
Coach Prime is the ultimate fake innovator,
wearing more jewelry, gold whistle,
speaks in tongues and displays his best manicure
while being a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Look, maybe I'm a total pud,
but I like Dion, right?
I think there's an element of being full of shit in Dion,
but I think there's an element of being full of shit in anyone.
You know who's full of shit?
Nick Sabin.
