the millennium, the WNBA finally concluded its nine-day investigation into monkey noises at the Indiana Fever Chicago Sky Game.
You know, the monkey noises that most people out there said they didn't hear.
Most of the players said, yeah, we didn't hear them, but they must have been there and there's no place for this kind of hate in the world and there's no kind of place for hate in this in this game. So the WNBA investigated this for nine days. I had forgotten about it and I think that's kind of what they were hoping is that the story would just kind of go away. But after spending multiple days hearing the media people being outraged over how terrible these racist acts are. The WNBA investigation
has concluded and the WNBA investigation says there were no racist actions, there were no
monkey noises and the reason why there were none is because there were in fact none. It
never happened. And that's becoming more and more the case. We're seeing more and more
times that people are crying racism in events where there was no racism. And to
a degree I don't even blame the people. Like I see, like I'm going to defend
Angel Reese on this actually. Somehow, even though she clearly like could have
stepped up and said I didn't hear anything, it probably never happened, what
the fuck are we doing? Even though her and all of her bully friends trying to
make Caitlin Clark on a daily basis, they try to make
Caitlin Clark seem like someone who's racist. Her fans are
racist and someone who never stands up for them. That's why
we like Paige Becker's because Paige Becker's bends the knee
and Paige Becker's lets everybody know that she feels
guilty about being white. Like that's why they like Paige Becker's. That's why they like some of these other
white chicks because some of these other white chicks are just complete boobs
that'll come out and say shit about how terrible it is to be white and they seem
guilty about being white. Whereas like a chick like Caitlin Clark comes out and
I've never heard her say, you know what sucks being white and I'm sorry it
happened. Whereas these other girls intimate that all the time because they're scared
shitless. But the thing is, I don't know that I blame Angel Reese and I don't know
if I blame cowards like Paige Becker's and I don't know.
Like, I don't know.
I don't think it's their fault.

Like I'm a white dude, right?
I don't feel guilty about being white because I didn't do anything to anybody.
I was born this way, like my lady, Lady Gaga said, baby, you were born this way.
So why would I walk around feeling like shit
about something I have no control over?
I have not treated people poorly.
I'm a decent human being.
I've done some fucked up things in my day
and messed some things up,
but shit that happened 200, 300 years ago
has nothing to do with me,
and I'm not gonna walk around and act like,
look, I have no fucking job.
Tell me about my privilege again
as I sit here with no fucking job. Can't get
people to call me back, right? Like so spare me. Spare me all this bullshit. I'm not going to walk
around feeling guilty about something completely out of my control. But when you start seeing these
stories like this one, like the WNBA story, the WNBA monkey noises story, and everybody has to have some passionate opinion about it. Like I just saw a story where
Shanae, the gal from ESPN, she apparently had gone off on some
sort of tangent about how terrible this racism is and
everything. Now she's come out and apologize for her
statements because once again, it didn't happen. So it's kind
of hard to look at someone crying about racism in the WNBA when there was no
racism in the WNBA. But again, I don't even blame her. I don't
blame Angel Reese. I don't blame Paige Becker's. I don't blame
Caitlin Clark. The reality is, and what comes back to this all
the time, and we talk about this all the time on this podcast, is
that it comes down to social media and it comes down to podcasts and it comes down to media in general
but really it's social media. There's a pressure that is heaped upon these people to always
say something, always say something that's bigoted, always represent the culture and
if you're someone like Paige Becker's to make sure you're not
called racist by the culture, you have to come out and let
people know that you're guilty about what race you are, and
there's a pressure that comes with this in 2025. Like, if I'm
Angel Reese, what benefit do I have? Like, if I'm looking at my
brand, if I'm looking at my endorsement deals, and I'm
looking at my commercials, and I'm looking at my endorsement deals and I'm looking at my commercials and I'm looking at going to the Met Gal and everything else, what benefit is there for me to come
out and say, yeah, this racist shit is bullshit.
It never happened.
Let's shut the fuck up and play basketball.
There is no benefit because your brand is built in this era of just this racially divided world. Your
audience, the people who like you, just like we like to say
that Caitlin Clark's audience, a lot of it, especially like the
right-wing people became Caitlin Clark people whenever
Angel Reese taunted her. The same goes the other way. The
reason why a lot of black folks like Angel Reese is for one
reason. She is black and Caitlin Clark is white and there are
just people who don't like white people. There are people that feel like the world hates Angel Reese because she one reason. She is black and Caitlin Clark is white and there are just people who don't like white people.
There are people that feel like the world hates Angel Reese
because she's black so they're just going to be on her side
anyway. Like that's the world. We're in a racially divided
universe. You all know that. I'm not telling you anything you
don't know. You know, so when you see a situation with this,
what benefit is there for Angel Reese to come out and say,
yeah, I don't think it ever fucking happened.
This is stupid.
Can we just play basketball?
I want to focus on being a basketball player.
Hey, did you know that I have 500 rebounds?
Fastest player ever to get 500 rebounds.
But there's no benefit to doing that because you have to play
up to the social media universe that bows down to you and you
have to bow down to them and give them what they want.
What the social media universe wants is a pound of
flesh for the racist injustices happening across the world. So
you as a black lady basketball player cannot come out and say
this whole thing is bullshit. I know Caitlin. She's not racist.
The majority of her fans are not racist. There are some dip
shits that listen to Clay Travis that might be racist that
only talk about me because of racial
things. But for the most part, people aren't racist. I'm
enjoying playing basketball. We need to start winning some
games. Instead, you keep it vague with, well, there's no
place for that in our league. There's no place for that in
our league. And what's like what benefit like actually not
even what benefit because there's got to be an opt if
there's an opportunity, what's the cost, right? What does she lose if
the story comes out that nothing happened? Nothing. Because those
people will just either shut the fuck up or they'll say that the
WNBA lied anyway. So what benefit is there for her to
come out and say, yeah, this is stupid. I don't know why we're
doing this. There's all the benefit in her coming out and
saying, yeah, this is no place for this. There's no place for this in our league. So she continues to satiate these people, at least as much as she
can. They're insatiable, but at least she can try to satiate these people as much as she can.
But what's the negative? The negative, she comes out and says, this is stupid. They go, you've
turned on the culture. You don't want that because your brand is being part of the culture. So
what incentive would she have to do that? What incentive does
Paige Becker's have to come out and say, you know, I think I've
earned my way here. You know, I came up playing basketball. I
played at UConn. I'm highly successful and I deserve to be
where I am. There's no real benefit in her doing that.
There's great benefit in her coming out and saying, well, you know, I mean,
there's a lot of other people that have helped pave the way
that really haven't been given this opportunity I've been
given. So blah, blah, blah. Then you're in, then the culture's
got you, but there's no negative that's going to come from that.
The blowback for saying, hey, I earned my way here is far
greater. It's like there's at least something, like if you're a pagebackers and you come out
and say fuck this, I earned this. Yes, there have been
some injustices done in the world. They had nothing to do
with me. I'm a good person and I can hoop and I'm ready to
go. You're dead to the culture. There's no benefit in that.
It's the truth, but there's no benefit to it. So basically
we've created a world of people who want to be lied to.
It's funny, they're the kind of people,
and this isn't just any particular race
that we're talking about, it's the social media universe.
And the social media universe demands
that you apologize for things.
They demand that you grovel.
They demand that you bow down to them.
That's the social media universe.
That's obvious, right?
Like that's the world. Like it's the kind of
people when you say something that people don't really view
offensive, but like they demand that you apologize for it and
then they act as if your apology was sincere because
like they demand an apology and force you to apologize. Then
you apologize and they're like, alright, you're good for now.
Like, do you think I meant that apology? I'm apologizing
because you wackos are forcing
me to apologize. So it's hard, like if you're an angel Reese or
you're a Paige Becker or you're a Caitlin Clark or whomever,
you are enslaved to social media. They own you. And you
know that there is no negative to saying that something was
racist because if we find out that it wasn't the story just disappears.
The story goes away or people step up and and and and we'll say it's a lie anyway.
There is no benefit to being honest.
Because I don't think that Angel Reese thought she heard racist shit. She knows she didn't hear racist shit.
So there are two ways we could view this and maybe I'm letting her off the hook and that's fine. I'm letting all these other dipshits
in the world off the hook. Maybe that's fine. But what is your alternative? The alternative is you
lose your audience by being honest or you just feed the fucking audience what they want and then
the story goes away and you lose nothing. There is nothing you can lose by going out saying this was racist and then the story goes away. What are you going to lose? Nada. Your audience
is built up of people who believed something racist happened and they probably still fucking
do. So what incentive did Angel Reese have to come out and be like, yep, that was it.
There was nothing there and let's just play basketball. She has zero.
This is the fault of social media. Same thing with the media
dipshits talking about this. You look at the gal that's on ESPN
that today is apologizing for jumping to conclusions. There's
a great benefit in her line of work to jumping to conclusions
when it comes to racial shit. If she would have gone on TV and
said, let's just
wait and see what the investigation finds. I've played
basketball games and I've never really had any issue, but let's
just see what the investigation finds. What benefit does she
gain? What does she gain from doing that? Nothing. But she
gains social media clout, she gains social media equity by
just jumping to conclusions. So now that she steps up and
apologizes, people don't even pay attention to
that. That's the beauty of it. No one gives a shit if you
apologize for it. No one gives a shit that you were wrong
because the social media world was also wrong, so they're
going to climb back into their fucking holes and you're going
to have to deal with a couple of Clay Travis's of the world
calling you a fucking fraud and then it's over. Then you're
back to doing your shit on ESPN. That's the way the universe
works now. And we've talked about it not with racial
shit, but other shit. I told you when I got I had to issue that
apology to like people demand apologies for shit even if you
don't mean them, right? They were demanding that I
apologize for the Jason Kelsey thing. And I'm like, look, if
you want me to apologize to him, if you want to get me on the
phone with him and say, Hey, dude, it was a joke. It was a
movie quote like my like, sorry, like i wasn't trying to be like i was
just making a joke but instead it became this huge story where he starts feeling sorry for himself
and playing victim and the whole world thinks i'm a piece of shit like who the fuck do i owe
an apology to why do i owe an apology to some dipshit on the internet who doesn't understand
that the concept of the joke why do i owe owe you an apology? Why do I owe an apology
for a lot of this shit? Oh, because people demand it and
they know you're full of shit. They know you don't mean the
apology, yet they demand your apology and somehow it makes
them feel better that you were... They don't even care about
the apology. They just want to know that you had to embarrass
yourself by apologizing to them. Like this idiot in Seattle that had to issue this apology that we talked
about last week. We're talking about the Australian broadcaster. And he starts
saying shit like, you know, hopefully I can earn your trust and I'm new in town
and I don't really understand your culture. It's fucking Seattle. It's not
Lima, Peru. It's America. You know what the fucking culture is. If you go up to
Seattle and you
make fun of some Australian guy, they're probably not going to like it and you're probably going
to have to apologize. So when you read a story from some dipshit and he's like, I'm new here
and I don't understand your culture, it ain't fucking Mars. It's Seattle. It's a shit hole,
a liberal shit hole, but like, and it's a little different than Atlanta, but it's America. Most of the rules
apply in everywhere. Like the rules are kind of the same everywhere. So you look like a
dipshit when you apologize for these kind of things, but I know I'm all over the place
here, but I just find this story. Like obviously Angel Reese is full of shit and she knows she's
full of shit and a lot of these people know they're full of shit, but there's equity in being full of shit. You could argue it's our fault, it's social media's fault for making
this a world where there's equity in being full of shit. There is an argument to be made
for that. If we stood up and stopped wanting people to be full of shit, then maybe they'd
stop being full of shit and people could be honest. But like we demand full of shittedness
because most of the internet's full of idiots. Most
of these people have no critical thinking skills whatsoever.
They're just weird internet fucking zombies. So there's no
benefit to being honest. So you go out and you're full of shit
and when it's revealed that you were full of shit, oops, story
goes away. They'll probably ask her about this today and her
little PR person for the Chicago sky will be like, next question, next question, we're over this, we're moving
on. Well, we're moving on from this. The league did their due diligence and we're moving on
from this guys. We're moving on. It's a nine day fucking investigation that yields zero.
We're moving on. We are moving on guys. It's fucking ridiculous what we're dealing with.
Anyway, more to come.
