If you want to consider like 11 starts to be starter number games. Poor bastard's 21 and 45 in his career is Jacoby Brissette. But he'll go out there and sling for you. My man will throw for the yards. Whenever you need him to throw for yards, my man's going to step up and do it for you. He threw for 277 yesterday. He didn't give him fuck. he's going to go out there and sling.

What games did I miss? I mean, look, Buffalo, I mean, was able to win that game on the road. I thought the Texans were going to win that, but I think I just had too much confidence in the Texans, which is probably a bad idea. Because C.J. Stroud, for all, I mean, look, guys slinging it around the yard, but when it came down to nut cutting time, nothing, nothing doing, you know.

You know, that's the difference in a Josh Allen. And look, Josh Allen's never won the whole thing. But Josh Allen made every huge play he had to make. C.J. Stroud didn't. So I guess the good news is you look in the AFC South and was anybody impressed by the Colts? Nope, looks like Daniel Jones turned back into a pumpkin. Were you impressed by the young upstart oiler Titans? Nope, they're dog shit.

Cam Ward didn't even get remotely good. Like, he blows. And then you got the Jaguars. So it's going to probably come down to the Jaguars and the Texans. And the Texans will probably still win it. But the South, again, one week. Overreaction, the AFC South feels like a division where the winner of that division is really a non-factor in everything. Right.

Like someone's going to win that division, much like the NFC South. Someone's going to win those two divisions, but not really be a factor in anything. And I think that's what you're going to get. Now, the one thing the Texans will have going for them is the Texans do have defense. And I do think their defense will figure it out. Like they got slaughtered yesterday and gave up 36 points. And I get that. That was a mess.

And they couldn't get one big stop. But I think they'll round back into form. I think they have too good of a defensive coach with Domingo. And they've proven it. They've proven over years that they're ballers on defense. So I'm not going to write off their defense. But what they've also proven over the years is that we don't know that Stroud is truly the dude. We don't know that.

So whoever wins that division will get bounced in the playoffs Unless you get like the right matchup And it's just a perfect day and your defense is nasty And you're playing a home playoff game Because you won the division But you're not a factor Again, that's a week one overreaction Bears went out and dropped 60 fucking points

Do we think the bears are legitimate players in this whole thing? Probably. And we talked about it earlier. They found the right coach And the coach got them out there slinging and around the yard. You can make fun of the dudes,

toenails and fingernails and purses and dresses and all that shit. Well, that dude with the dresses and the purse and the fingernail polish and all that bullshit's going to go out there and sling it all over your quarterback. Here are your options. You can have the dude that's got fingernail polish in a purse or you can have the guy that's fucking Madison beer. Well, I think we'd all rather be fucking Madison beer than wearing fingernail polish, but who's the better quarterback?

I'd probably take Caleb Williams. He's got the right coach combination there. He's not playing for a fucking stiff, like Iber Fluse. A man's got a dude out there that knows offense. Again, look at the comparisons. Look at what the lions do offensively now versus what they do now that the coach is over in Chicago.

After all that, to go Carl Anthony Towns on you. After all that, after all that, my man goes out there, all the drama, all that shit, about the drama and everything else,

about, you know, Shadr Sanders should play, but we're going to start Deshaun and all this shit. And then my man goes out there and just sucks ass. Like you knew what happened. Like it was a predictable, it was a predictable outcome. Now, granted,

they sucked for many reasons and not just Deshawn Watson. I mean, they stink. But still, my man went out there. I mean, look, hey, completed 73% of his passes. Only through one interception, but I mean my God, like it was just perfect for them to go out lose by 30.

After all the drama, boy, you know, they're going to study the fall of Deshaun Watson in classes. There should be classes about this. Hey, today's Deshawn's birthday. Say September 14th? Hey, happy birthday, Deshawn Watson. Your lady is stuck with you through thick and thin for whatever reason, poor girl. I believe in him. We love each other. Love conquers all, I guess. But there you go. So NFL week one, am I missing any games that need to be talked about? I mean, the Cowboys did. Look, I say the Cowboys did what they do. Not really.

The Cowboys at least usually beat the fucking Giants. Didn't do that. So that one, I do. I love Jackson Dart. I loved him in college. I love him as a pro. Just they got these two dudes that are seemingly meat. head dudes with him and the fucking homeboy running back there.

They're just like, I don't know, they're two meatheady type dudes, but I like them. I like the Giants. And now they've got, you know, like the kind of disciplinarian guy in their coach now. And you're like, maybe they'll figure shit out a little bit. I like it. Let's see when I miss anything else on there. I mean, Arizona game was a dud. Yeah.

But again, my biggest takeaway from week one on the NFL is I was proud of the Saints. and that's rarely something I say. I'm not usually a moral victory guy in the NFL, but I think they're in a position where moral victories are part of it. And I think they look, and it's not just a moral victory with me thinking they can't build on it. I think they got a shot to win some games. So I enjoyed the Saints. No moral victories for the Texans.

No moral victories for the Lions. I don't think they're really any good. Again, like they'll never acknowledge it. But again, watch what they've done. They lose their offensive coordinator. last year and the offense wasn't the same. This year, look at them. They squit seven points in the first half against the Saints.

Had a couple of short fields and that's how they got most of their points in the game yesterday. All right, more to come.
