Last night's game was terrible. Like I'm almost at the point where I'm like, you know what? Stop with the Thursday games and the Monday games. Like, it's terrible.
Starting point is 00:01:10 And the fact that we're watching this. And the moment that I felt I was a degenerate is when I'm making bets on Justin Fields in last night's game. That was almost, like that was the moment that I almost decided, you know what? You have a problem. Call the 1-800 gambler line because you're betting on Justin Fields passing yards. you're a total schmuck but boy that game was terrible last night just the jet's existence is baffling to me it's just awful but uh let's look at this weekend's games here and uh give you some winners on these we will do that after these messages all right let's take a look at what the the lions are
Starting point is 00:01:47 we've talked about the lines earlier this late a week let's pick winners how about this the dolphins uh in where is that game is that a london game or is that a germany game or is that a germany game wherever the hell it is, whatever foreign land that game is in. It's going to be a 930 East kickoff. The commander skins take on the dolphins. I'm a sucker for the dolphins, and I don't know why I'm a sucker for the dolphins, maybe because I like the coach a lot. I want him to be the coach forever because he's wonderful, and I love him, and he's weird, and I dig him. And I also need two to throw for a lot of yards in the back half of this season to give me a shot at hitting my 4,000-yard passer parlay. I know you have your own issues. I think the dolphins are going to win. I
Starting point is 00:02:27 do. Look, they're two and a half point favorite, which they're favored. The commanders are still, I think, or the commanders, I would imagine, are still rolling with Mariotas. So that's what you're obviously. They are because their quarterback broke his elbow. So of course, they're going with Mariotta. Could I see a scenario where the commanders win? Sure. But for whatever reason, I think the dolphins are going to win that one. And I like them. I don't know why I like them so much. Why I like Mike McDaniel so much. And I love it because he outrages these people by being weird. And every post is, it appears that Mike McDaniels back on blow or Mike McDaniels got issues and he needs help. I just think he fucks with people and he's great at fucking with people. He is an elite fucker around her and I respect
Starting point is 00:03:05 the fact that he is a guy that likes to F around. Let's see, the Bears are at Minnesota. Minnesota's going to win this and I think Minnesota is going to win it big. There are two and a half point favorite. I don't believe in the Bears. I still don't believe in Caleb. I don't believe in them defensively. Minnesota's fine, right? Like Minnesota's not some team I'm going to look at and that Minnesota's rock star team by any means. I'm not a big J.J. McCarthy guy. However, J.J. McCarthy did what we thought he would do last week, which was play poorly through an interception.
Starting point is 00:03:37 That was coming off that big game where everybody's telling you that J.J. McCarthy is that dude, and he played his best game. You knew that that was going to be the fact. And he's also dealing with issues. That's another factor in all of this. So he was limited in practice, so we don't even know if he's going to play. But if J.J. McCarthy plays, I think they got a legit shot at winning this. Also, another interesting thing is I don't know who the hell would be their quarterback otherwise, right?
Starting point is 00:04:04 Because I don't think you're going to be dealing with, well, obviously you're not going to be dealing with Carson Wend. So I don't even know who the backup quarterback would be for the Vikings at this point. He's got a hand bruise. I'm assuming he's going to play. And I think he's going to bounce back and play well. And I think they're going to win. And Minnesota is still right in the heat of this thing in terms of being in the postseason race. Like you look at where they stand right now.
Starting point is 00:04:27 You start looking at it. That division is still open. Are they going to win it? Probably not because they're two games back. But they're right there in the heat of things for potential wild card spots. They're still, like I think they're solid for the most part. And I could see a scenario where they win this. I think they win it.
Starting point is 00:04:43 The Bears are six and three. And I think they're a fraudulent six and three. If you look at who the Bears have played and who they've beaten, they haven't been overly impressed. They've got back-to-back wins against the Giants and the Bengals, two of the worst teams in the NFL. They have a loss to the Ravens when the Ravens were a complete mess. You've got the saints they've beaten, the commanders they've beaten, the Raiders they've beaten, the Cowboys they've beaten. The Bears are a good example of a team who has beaten nobody.
Starting point is 00:05:09 They're kind of like the Broncos in that way. When you look at the Broncos, they're really like the Patriots. The Patriots have beaten basically nobody. Like if you look at the who's who that the Patriots have beaten, it's funny because you're watching them and they've got this great record and they're beating people, then you actually break down who they've played and they have really played no one. Although I do believe in the Patriots. I like Drake May a lot. I like their offense a lot. But still, like that's kind of the position we're in with all this stuff right now.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Like it's like I watch them and I'm kind of like, I like the Patriots more than I like a team like the Bears who I just don't believe in. I think the Vikings win that game, assuming the quarterback plays, I think they win that game. I think they're right back in the mix. Minnesota is in the wild card. The Giants are a seven-point underdog at home to the Packers. The Packers have to beat the hell out of somebody at some point, right? Or at least move the ball at some point. If there's ever going to be a time that the Packers play well and start beating people
Starting point is 00:06:06 and dominate and move the ball and put up some points, wouldn't you think it'd be this week? But that said, my boy, James is getting the ball. And you know, I love James. That's my dude. You know what? But off the top of my head, my first thought is the Giants cover. Plus seven, I think they cover. They're not going to win.
Starting point is 00:06:23 I mean, the Packers have to win. Like, they're in a position where they must win. They may fire, they go to New York and lose to James Winston with a team that's fired their coach, third string quarterback. If they lose that game, they may fire the coach on Monday. Panthers at Falcons. The Falcons also have to figure something out, right? How many games in a row of the Falcons lost? I think the Falcons have lost, I want to say they've lost five in a row now, and they have
Starting point is 00:06:46 falling off a cliff. That said, though, they've got talented guys. I also really need the quarterback to start throwing for some yards. So a lot of this is wishful thinking. But if you look at the Falcons, they're three and six. Seasons gotten derailed. Season's over. Carolina, kind of a fraudulent five and five. They've surprised some people. It's actually four losses in a row now, I should say, for the four of the Falcons. But the thing about the Falcons is, look at the teams that they're losing to for the most part. They lost to the Buccaneers to start the season. a game that they blew late, right? They lost to the Panthers, who happened to be a, you know, a team that's now back up to 500.
Starting point is 00:07:23 They got their asses kicked by the Panthers on the road. They lost the 49ers, though. They have lost to the Patriots, and they have lost to the Colts. So a good number of their losses, out of their six losses, you know, Puccaneers are good. 49ers are solid. They've got issues, but they're solid. Patriots have been one of the best teams in the league. The Colts.
Starting point is 00:07:41 And if you look at these games, they've lost. They lost by 10 to 49ers. They lost by a point to the Patriots. They lost by a touchdown to the Colts, and that was a tight game. They lost by three to the bucks. I don't believe the Falcons are as bad as their record would indicate, and I don't believe that the Panthers are as good as their 5-and-5 record would indicate. Thus, I am actually going to take the Falcons to cover that three-and-a-half.
Starting point is 00:08:06 I think they'll beat them, and I think finally the Falcons get something figured out. Chargers and Jaguars are a three-point home underdog in that one. The Chargers are dealing with some major offensive line issues, man. That is a problem. The Jaguars falling off a cliff. This feels like a spot where at home. Maybe the – look, if the Jaguars are going to find a way to win something, they would have to be this after blowing that 19-point lead to the Texans on the road,
Starting point is 00:08:32 they're coming home. If they're ever going to have a chance to beat a team like the Chargers, who, again, are dealing with issues on the offensive line. That's a big factor. I can't allow myself to take the Jaguars to win that. But I wouldn't be shocked if they did. right? Like would you be shocked at the Jaguars beat them? Like the charges are struggling to a degree. The charges have major offensive line issues. If they can get after Herbert, I think they have a really good shot to win that game. I wouldn't be shocked. And it's easy to write them off after blowing the 19-point lead to Davis Mills. But we shall see. Bangles and Steelers, this is a must-win territory for the Steelers, obviously. As they've kind of been derailed. I also need them to get to eight wins on the season. So this is a big game. The Bengals, but you look at the Bengals. and they're minus 84 in the point differential.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Really, you've got to love the AFC North. Because the AFC North, every team has a negative point differential. And I think we all know what's going to happen here. Baltimore just hangs around. Lamar is back. They've won three games in a row after starting one in five, doing large part to bad defense and injury to Lamar. Steelers are sitting in first place, but for how long,
Starting point is 00:09:41 they have to win that game. They're going to win. The Bengals are going to find a way to lose. just what they do. They've had every opportunity to win this division. What's amazing, those, if the Bengals win this, they're kind of right back into the heat of this thing. And I think they've already got a win over Pittsburgh this year, right? So they'd be right back in the mix for that division. They're three and six. One win changes their outlook. And that's a team that should have, could have had a couple in there as well. They've missed opportunities.
Starting point is 00:10:06 I wouldn't be shocked if the Bengals won, but I'm going to ride with Pittsburgh because they're desperate and I need them, too. You would think at some point the bills would blow somebody out, but I just don't think that's what they do. They take on Tampa, and Tampa is a five-and-a-half-point dog on the road. Buffalo, you would assume would have to win after the disgrace they've put up the last couple of weeks. But Tampa's been dealing with injuries of their own. They've got issues. I like them, but they've got issues.
Starting point is 00:10:31 I don't believe in Buffalo at all, but I think that Buffalo is going to win that game. The Texans are a five-and-a-half-point favorite with no C.J. Stroud at Tennessee. Look, I'll take the Texans to win. but that's a bad spot. You're going on the road against one of the worst teams in the league, technically a rival. You just had one of the most epic fourth quarter comebacks in league history. You were down 19. You come back and win and you're feeling kind of decent about yourself.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Like, it's actually a really good spot if you really think about it for the Titans to pull the upset. If there's ever going to be a good spot for the Titans to pull an upset, this would be the spot for that. But I just don't believe it. And I need the Texans to win. I think what did I say? Four more games is what I need out of the next. eight. I think out of the last eight games of the year, I need them to go four and four. And for them to go four and four, I need them to win a game like this. You cannot lose to the Titans.
Starting point is 00:11:24 So win this. I think the Texans will, but I'm not sold on that. I wouldn't bet it, but I'll take them to win. I love this game so much. Seahawks and Rams. I mean, it just makes me excited with the Seahawks and Rams. Everything about this game is great. It should be like the game of the year, which means it probably won't be. Look, the difference for me between the these two teams and why I would take the Rams to win is at the end of the day, I don't believe in Sam Darnold. And I think at some point, Sam Darnold's going to turn back into a pumpkin, much like he did last year. He turned into a pumpkin. So I'm going to roll with the Rams at home against Seattle. But I love this game. I love the weapons in this game. We haven't
Starting point is 00:12:04 really gotten to experience Rashid Shaheed with Seattle yet. He was kind of, you know, ran the ball a couple times who didn't make any big plays like he was making with the Saints earlier in the year. They got him in Seattle. I love JSN. You know. this. I love everything about Seattle except the quarterback. At some point, he'll turn into a pumpkin. Rams have all the weapons as well, solid defensively. Difference, of course, being that they have Matt Stafford. I will take that. I think the Rams end up winning that game and what I hope is an awesome game. Cardinals in San Francisco, the Cardinals are only a three-point dog at home. I like Jacoby Brissette. San Francisco's in a weird spot, too. They're dealing with
Starting point is 00:12:39 the issues they're dealing with, and they've got their quarterback back. I don't think Arizona is nearly as bad as the ass whoopin they took from Seattle the other day. And I don't think San Francisco's as good as Seattle. But I think San Francisco's going to win that. This is another thing I hope here as well. Another thing that I hope for is that we've got San, I hope that Kansas City, sorry, I just had like my big boss walk by and wave into the door. I'm like, hey, guys, how are you? It's funny because she's walking by, showing him all these studios and all these studios look exactly the same. very sterile but hey cool hello uh let's see i hope the chiefs beat the shit out of the broncos it is like my main hope in life is that the broncos who are the luckiest team in the league currently
Starting point is 00:13:24 not just by schedule but just luckiest team by how these games have worked out i really need the chiefs to just peck or slap denver and put sean peyton and his boys in their place i would love it please give me that it's all i want i'm begging for it please chiefs and i think they will i think the Chiefs are going to go into Denver, and the Chiefs are going to put it on them and put them in their place. Baltimore is a seven and a half-point favorite at Cleveland. They're going to win that game by how much I don't know, but Baltimore is going to win that. I wouldn't mess with that game, although this could be like, dude, Cleveland's a disaster, right? And by, oh, you know what, actually, let me think about that for a second.
Starting point is 00:13:58 So Cleveland's two and seven. They've lost back-to-back games after beating the Dolphins. In the last two weeks, they lost to the freaking jets, and they've gotten blown out by the Patriots. So actually, I do like this, actually. I think Baltimore goes on the road. I know it's going to be gritty and all that. I think Baltimore's kind of figured some stuff out. I am going to take Baltimore to go on the road, and I think they're going to smoke them.
Starting point is 00:14:21 The more I think about it, I think they're going to smoke Cleveland because Cleveland's a disaster. The Eagles and the Lions, for whatever reason, I think the Eagles are going to win that. It's a big kind of benchmark game for both of these teams because the Eagles are dealing with their issues, and the Eagles have to find a way to win that game because, Even though they're not desperate, like I'd say the team that needs the win more would be Detroit at this point because the division race is over in the other division in the east and the lions are in a dog fight in that division. So it's a tough spot. The lions need it more. But the Eagles, it's one of those weeks where the Eagles are desperate and just desperate from the standpoint that they're getting dumped on by a lot of people where the city's kind of turning on them offensively.
Starting point is 00:15:06 They've got drama with the quarterback and the wide receiver and all that. So this just feels like a place where the Eagles are going to throw for 350 yards. For as bad and mediocre as their offense can be at times. I mean, it's like watching the Jets at times. I think the Eagles go out and I think they win pretty big. And I hope I'm wrong. No offense, Philly people, I love you, but I like the Lions and I want them to win. It'd be fun if they did.
Starting point is 00:15:29 I think the Eagles smoke them. I think this is just one of those weeks where it's setting up for all the drama in Philly, everybody going nuts over how bad the offense is and A.J. Brown and all of this, I think the Eagles smoke them. And then on Monday night, you get the Raiders and Dallas. I think Dallas will finally win one there. I think Dallas gets that win. And maybe we'll talk about that more early next week. And there you go.
