The following was recorded from inside an ice plunge.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Ah! Woo! Okay. All right. When a core's life is cold enough, the mountains on the can turn blue. So the next time you want a cold lager, cold filter, cold package, Coors Light, just wait until those glorious mountains on the can turn blue. It's easy to say that fast when you're freezing cold.
Starting point is 00:01:00 So now I find myself at a point where maybe the Celsius buzz is wearing off. I don't know how that works. I don't feel like I'm crashing or anything. But shocker, during that random thing about Jack Black, I felt like I was out there just nonstop killing it. Now, I guess that was about an hour ago or so after drinking this Celsius, now I've kind of like gone the other direction so I guess this is not supposed to be a long-standing jolt I guess that's why it makes sense that it says hey if you're about to work out
Starting point is 00:01:34 so should I just drink this before I take my dog for a walk I don't know what to do but I think that's kind of where I stand right now because I don't feel that same rush I felt maybe I need to try the five hour energy and get like a leveled out you know energy buzz for five hours because 45 minutes of energy is nice but now I'm kind of like huh now what what do I do I drank this damn thing it says I love how it's like hey we don't advise you to drink like more than one or two of these a day I'm like anything that says that i'm skeptical of then again i'm sure beer probably says that too and i have like a hundred of those so what do i what do i know i don't know a goddamn thing but uh it was i mean it was tasty it tasted like an energy drink tastes kind of like a five-hour energy it wasn't bad i like sparkling it's bubbly
Starting point is 00:02:20 i like that like carbonation so um yeah i don't. I don't mind it, but I don't really feel like it gave me a long-term jolt. Does that make sense? I was hoping for something that was sustainable. If you guys would like to email me or send me a tweet to let me know what would be a better kind of long-form thing for doing this, I would be all about it because I would like to have a little bit more energy. Maybe getting a job will give me more energy. Maybe I'll have a little bit more oomph if that happens. I don't know. But that's where it stands now. So now I don't have that initial oomph that I had while drinking that. I'm not totally down yet. I still have some level of oomph, but the initial oomph is no longer there, if that makes any sense.
Starting point is 00:03:08 So, anywho, let me know. Email me. I would appreciate it if you guys would email me, by the way. Just say hello. Let me know you're there. Hello, is anybody in there? All right, so the story that's kind of everywhere today is the dude that fell out of the stands at the Pirates game. So that fence out in right field that's elevated
Starting point is 00:05:45 is about 21 feet up. And this dude falls out of there and just smashes to the ground and now he's in critical condition. First off, I'm shocked that more people don't fall at sporting events because sporting events are just giant bars, but with live sports happening
Starting point is 00:06:01 instead of watching them on TV and a lot more stairs than you're going to find at normal bars, right? Like you go to a ball game and they're now serving beer into the eighth inning. People are getting hammered. I mean, almost every time I've ever gone to a ballpark, I've had a good number of beers. There have been some times I've been to ballparks, don't even remember being there.
Starting point is 00:06:21 One in particular. Talk about relatability for the 97.5 job went to a Cardinals Phillies game it was probably not too long before I got whacked and some people think this is why I got whacked it's not why I got whacked but um I guess it would have been in August so it was not that long before I got fired but the ball game it's kind of a rainy day. Cardinals are an okay team. The Phillies stink.
Starting point is 00:06:49 And kind of a small crowd. And it was a weird game where the first inning took like two hours. It felt like it took like an hour just for one inning. So in the matter of an inning, I drank like two 25-ounce beers. And then I decided, you know what? I'm going to try to drink nine 25-ounce beers over the course of a nine-inning game, which I successfully did. And at one point, I ended up on the Jumbotron dancing and shit. So it was a fine time. And I had a video. I was doing a video diary of how this was going. All that said, do not remember leaving the ballpark. Because what is nine 25-ounce beers? If we assume that every because i but i think it was more than nine i think i ended up having like 10 so if you do the math on it right
Starting point is 00:07:29 you've got 25 times let's say 20 say i had 10 that's 250 divided by 12 i drank it's absurd to think this but i drank essentially 20 beers over the course of a baseball game. I'm basically Wade Boggs' legendary status, right? So why did I bring this up? Oh, because people get hammered at baseball games all the time. They get hammered at sporting events all the time. A lot of these stadiums have very narrow stairs. A lot of these stadiums are kind of small, narrow. The stairs are at a steep
Starting point is 00:08:07 incline. Like, we've heard stories of people dying at ballparks. Like, I think it was in New York at one time that some guy tried to like ride the escalator rail down and died in front of his kids. Like, bro, what the fuck are we doing? What are you doing? So I'm just shocked that this shit doesn't happen more often. And now with the nets and everything, I'm like, it's obvious that more people aren't going to get clocked in the head with balls. I'm shocked that more people didn't die at baseball games taking a line drive to the skull. But anyway, I'm just shocked that this doesn't happen more frequently. Because if you sit in the front row of any section, you're going to have a very kind of low rail because you don't want things blocking your view, right? So like my season tickets in Houston for the Astros, you had that elevated part on the aisle where it's kind of elevated.
Starting point is 00:08:51 They put a piece of plexiglass there, but it still makes it difficult to see. So it's kind of a pain in the ass. But that's the elevated part. As you work your way into the seats more, they lose that elevated part. And the fact that more people don't oops i stumbled and fall over that's pretty remarkable now if you haven't seen the video uh you can check that out wherever it's everywhere and all these outlets are like make sure you know that this is graphic content but please click on it we want you to see this guy falling maybe to his death if nothing else falling to his permanent paralysis and brain deadedness more than likely fell 20 feet but anyway so here's the story about it and this is why I'm skeptical of this like every story says
Starting point is 00:09:33 guy fell down I've watched this video many times and I think that what's happening here is like a big hit happens he like jumps up and falls over but if you watch this I don't know that this guy fell maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist unsolved mysteries whatever I think this guy jumped because if you watch the way he fell and I don't know how you fall from 20 something feet right like I don't know how you're supposed to fall. But I feel like if you're falling and you are of sound mind and you realize, holy shit, I fell. Mind you, 20 feet is a fast fall. It's not like you have a lot of time to think. But I feel like if you're going to fall 20 feet, you're at least going to try to, like, move your legs into a position where you land on your legs.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Now, you're going to break both of your legs more than likely where you land on your legs now you're gonna break both your legs more than likely but at least you may not die this dude like lands on his face and never seems to make an attempt like he was just free falling bro so i wonder like this again this is my conspiracy i'm sure look you can't watch the video and be like oh yeah i don't i don't think this is even remotely possible you watch the video and be like, oh yeah, I don't think this is even remotely possible. You watch the video and you have to think it's possible. Because you never hear about people falling off of this. So how did you fall?
Starting point is 00:10:52 What exactly happened? Did like you stand up to jump and your seat didn't flip back up so you tripped? Like it would have to be some, again, maybe I'm being unfair. It would have to be some super, super final destination type shit for that to work out. You'd have to have been super hammered. It would have had to have been a situation where you stand up to celebrate this hit. You step on your shoelace and fall forward. But if you notice when the guy, quote unquote, unquote falls it's almost like he leaps forward right like he kind of like like he's in the air he's elevated he jumps and watching this video
Starting point is 00:11:36 i feel like our old buddy here jumped on purpose maybe we'll never know i think he's still in critical condition i don't know if he's died or if he's paralyzed or what it was gnarly man like you watch that but i'm fascinated by these kind of things have you ever heard about like the number of people that used to jump off the empire state building before they put up all these things that make it almost impossible for you to jump off like giant high fences and shit you used to be able to walk up to the top of the Empire State Building and just basically you're looking over the edge and that's the fucking edge and see you later, right? Like that's kind of how it used to be. So people used to commit suicide from the
Starting point is 00:12:13 Empire State Building pretty frequently. There's one that's a really historic, iconic shot of this woman who jumped off the Empire State Building, landed directly on top of a car, smashed the car, right? She lands back down. Her arms are crossed. I mean, she just lands right. I mean, it's perfect landing and everything. They said they tried to pick her up, and her body was basically liquid. Like, it's fucking crazy.
Starting point is 00:12:41 Now, granted, that's the Empire State Building. This is 20 feet. May kill you, may not, but you're going to be fucked up either way. I don't believe when I watch this video that this guy fell. Now, I'll go back and watch it again, but it would have to be a very Final Destination-like fall and circumstance for this to happen. I'm going to watch it again. Let's see. Content warning, disturbing footage.
Starting point is 00:13:07 So here we go. He stands up like, I just, I don't buy it. I don't buy that he fell, right? I'm watching it. But maybe he does. Maybe he does. But like, how do you fall that way? Like, it just, like, the way he springs out of his seat feels like he's jumping from sitting down and jumping over the rail.
Starting point is 00:13:32 That's what that feels like there. Dude, it's wild. Like I'm trying, I'm trying to make sense of this. Like the only way that it would happen on accident is he jumps out of his seat and then somehow like his like there is no way he jumped and left like he like there's no way he just fell over there's no way and then you watch him fall i mean it's a quick fall so like hmm what would have happened if the ball would have been hit out in that direction and like homeboy in right field is trying to pick up the ball and there's just this lifeless body.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Y'all want to see a dead body? Just laying there in the outfield. What is the ground rule for that? Okay, hypothetical. Let's say old buddy here whacks one into right field, but the same thing happens. Guy falls over and he's laying there probably maybe dead sort of dead certainly in critical condition if he falls and the ball
Starting point is 00:14:30 gets wedged under him is there a ground rule for that like does the guy in the right field just put up both hands to signal like hey ball stuck where's the ball stuck under this guy I don't know what would have happened in that scenario but I don't know that this guy fell like he just sprung up so much that I find it hard to believe but I don't know I just don't get the vibe that he fell I don't know what you guys think I don't think that that was a fall. I think there was a jump. But again, why would you jump from 20-something feet? I don't know. There's a lot of questions. Anywho, more to come.
