Well, it's another exciting football weekend. Things kicked off last night with the Thursday night game. And, you know, we expected Washington to take a step back. And they didn't look particularly impressive against the Giants last week. And then this week, they roll in and just, they really got steamrolled from the jump from Green Bay. Like, I know they lost by nine. And I know they had the ball down by nine after forcing a late punt. And, like, they had the two-point conversion that cut it to nine.

But they were never in the game. It was a game that they were never out of because the score never got to a point, you know, at least in the first three quarters where it was like, okay, they've comfortably gotten ahead. But no one thought or believed that Washington was going to do a damn thing offensively the entire game. And they didn't. They sucked offensively the entire game.

Then you look at the big picture, like, is Green Bay good? Is it great? Like, if you're in Detroit, I'm in Detroit today. Do you think that after watching that game, you say to yourself, hey, maybe it wasn't our offense sucked? maybe the Lions just ran into a really good defense. Maybe Green Bay's defense is just nasty. Now, they shut the Lions down.

Now, the Lions are missing their offensive coordinator. They have a new offensive coordinator, so they were going to have some growing pains anyway. And I just don't think they played well. I don't think that was all the Green Bay defense. I just don't think the Lions played well. But then you've got Green Bay again facing a pretty good offense. Like you look at some of the playmakers that they have at Washington. They have a very good quarterback, and they shut them the fuck down.

like you wonder after two weeks gets a small sample size but is it just that Green Bay's defense is really good Parsons played well again when he was in there last night are they just that good defensively so like if you root for Detroit do you go into this weekend thinking you know what you sit here today feeling a lot better about your team than you did on Monday after you got pummeled and couldn't move the ball at all really against Green Bay watching Green Bay do it again to somebody else

a team that is a projected playoff team a team of a very good quarterback, a team that's got pretty solid weapons across the board. Debo Samuel being one of them. Terry McLaurin being another one of them. Zach Ertz, who's still a reliable target, being one of them, Noah Brown who can make plays. Like, they have playmakers. They've got weapons at Washington. go straight up winners and losers for the weekend. And not winners and losers like you get, like I guarantee it USA Today Today, today. You would go to USA Today and you'd see like, who are the winners and losers of last night? It's Thursday night football game. I don't know.

The team that fucking won is the winner and the team that lost is the loser. There, done. But we're going to pick some winners here. We've given you the prop to you drop. Let's look at some of these games and talk about them. So Cleveland and Baltimore, you would anticipate Baltimore wins that one fairly easy, right?

Cleveland's still not good. I like Flacco for betting purposes. If Cleveland wasn't going to win the game they played against Cincinnati last week, they sure as hell aren't going to roll out and beat Baltimore. Like, think about it if you're Cleveland. right? You're playing a rival in Cincinnati. Then you've got Baltimore coming up this week. But you're playing a rival, a division rival last week. And you're facing Cincinnati. And you shut down Joe Burrow. And you shut down Jamar Chase. It's one of the worst games Joe has played as a pro. You hold them to 17 points and still lose. It is probably not meant for you to have a good season, Cleveland. So Baltimore should roll in that game, especially after blowing the game they weigh the – like, I feel bad for Cleveland this week?

Like this should, especially with Baltimore coming home. I think Baltimore, I've got to see the spread on this game. Let me see the NFL point spreads. I guess I should have had that pulled up. NFL point spreads week two. I was just looking at the matchups and going off of that. So let's see. Looking at the matchups,

so in that game, it is Baltimore minus 11 and a half. And I think that's one of the games Jilly like too. Look, Cleveland sucks. And look, they can be tough defensively. I get that.

But you're going on the road and you have to face a Baltimore team that just went out and blew a huge four, like a 15 point fourth quarter lead to a rival in the opening game. Like, if there's ever a time that someone should just eviscerate someone else, it should be Baltimore at home this weekend against Cleveland. Looking at some of the other matchups, you've got the San Francisco is a three and a half point favorite against the Saints. And they're going to be without Brock Purdy. If the Saints are to win a game, you would think it would be this one. But I still don't think they're going to win the game.

For whatever reason. Who's getting the ball for San Francisco? Let's see. San Francisco backup QB. Let's see who's getting the ball officially if they've named it. So Brock Brown's Mac Jones. So Mac Jones. I forgot that Mac Jones was in San Francisco.

I will give you full disclosure. I will just be honest with you. I forgot that Mac Jones was in San Francisco. Mac Jones could go on the road and beat the Saints. Why not? The Saints aren't any good. I mean, I think their defense is maybe better than we thought, but I don't think they're going to win. But if the Saints are going to go above their win total, if they're going to win four or five games this year, I think you kind of have to beat San Francisco without their starting quarterback.

Yet I don't think they're going to beat San Francisco without their starting quarterback. So I would say San Francisco is going to win that. Jacksonville goes to Cincinnati. I think Cincinnati wins that one. decisively, too. Going back home, you eeked out a victory over Cleveland playing bad football offensively. I like Jacksonville a lot, but I think going home, I love teams coming home, home opener. I think Joe plays a lot better. I think Jamar plays a lot better. How can they not? And I think they win that game probably by a touchdown. Buffalo goes to the Jets. Buffalo

kind of riding high. This could be a solid spot for the Jets, home opener, plus six and a half. Fields isn't terrible. He's not great. I think he'll play decent. If you're Buffalo, you're feeling really good after that comeback victory. You'll probably win this game. But given all the circumstances, maybe the Jets keep it tight. Remember, the Jets could have should have would have beaten Pittsburgh last week. So Giants at the Cowboys, I think the Cowboys get right against the Giants. And I think it's the last time we see Rusty Wilson. And I wouldn't be shocked if by next week they make the move to dump Russ and put in Jackson Dart. Like every report is that they They want to play Jackson Dart. So someone has floated that information out to media people that, hey, we want Jackson Dart to play. They've told ownership they want Jackson Dart to play. I think they ride with Rusty one more week. I think he plays poorly one more week. And I would not be shocked if he is pulled in the middle of this game.

I wouldn't be shocked if they said, hey, let him go one more game. And if he sucks in the middle of this one, pull him. I think the Cowboys get right. I think you could have watched the Cowboys play against the Eagles and come out of it. If not impressed, that's what's weird to me. I heard some guy on the radio say that he was impressed by what he saw from the Cowboys. He was shocked. I don't think it was shocking that the Cowboys were competitive against the Eagles.

They have talent. Look at their wide receivers. I don't think they're just a team that has nothing. They're not barren, right? Like, they can play. It wasn't shocking that they played competitively against the Eagles. And it's not going to be shocking when they beat the Giants by seven or ten points. They're five and a half point favorite.

And I think at home, coming home, I think they're going to roll. Patriots at Dolphins This is a game I love too I think the Dolphins come home And I think the Dolphins win Because the whole world is shitting on them They've got all the drama And Tyree Kill hates the coach

And is Tyree going to get traded? Where is he going to get traded to? Is Mike McDaniel going to be the first coach fired? Is Tua cooked? They just got smoked by Daniel fucking Jones I think that the dog I still think the dolphins are talented team And I don't think the Patriots are

Like everybody likes Mike Vrabel Like everybody was just assuming that Mike Vrable was going to take the Patriots job and just turn them into winners and I don't see it. I think at home only minus one and a half. I'll take the dolphins all day in that one. The

lions are a six and a half point favorite against the Bears. And you would think the Bears would come out on fire after blowing that game at home to a rookie quarterback. But I think the Lions get right in this one. I think the Lions kicked the shit out of them. I think they're hyped up to face their old

offensive coordinator. You're at home so the place is going to be jumping. Everybody's written you off and people are saying that you suck and people are saying that you're never going to do that like you can't do it without Ben Johnson. As we noted earlier, look at what you got out of the Packers defense for the second straight week. They made life miserable for the commander skins. Just like they made life miserable for the Lions. That's back-to-back two good offenses that they shut the fuck down. So maybe they're just a good defense.

And the Bears defense certainly is not up to that level. I like the lions in this one. I think the lions roll. Rams and Titans, I think that you're going to get a better game out of Cam Ward, and I don't think his receivers are going to screw him to the same extent that they screwed him last week. The Rams are the better team.

But I would not be shocked if Tennessee keeps this competitive. Because on the road in week one against a much superior Denver team, Tennessee was in it. And if they don't drop a couple of balls, who knows? I lost that game by 8. This one's at home. Rams coming off a tough win against the Texans. I could see the Titans covering this one.

And I think that Cam has a good game. I think in the props I had him over, what, 196? I think he plays well. We already talked about the Ravens. Seahawks are at the Steelers. I think A-Rodge gets it done at home. They're coming off a big win. I think this is different for the Steelers.

I think A-Rodge looked like old-school A-Raj. I think that it was a joyless situation in New York. I think this is a different vibe. I think he and Tomlin kind of gel. I think that it's a better vibe for him. Like, Pittsburgh is a better Aaron Rogers town than New York. Aaron Rogers made his hay at Cal and he made his hay in Green Bay. A.Rodge ain't New York Jets guy.

I think just Pittsburgh, grimy, kind of, you know, slimy town, hard work and blue collar. I think they've kind of figured it. I think A.R. I think A.R. just found the fountain of youth. I'm back on the A-Rodge train, and I'm taking A-Rodge to get the dub against Seattle at home in Pittsburgh. Arizona hosts Carolina. I think the – just first thought is that the Panthers cover because I don't think Arizona is all that good. Arizona could or should have lost on the road to open the season as a big favorite to the Saints.

This one's at home. Panther's still one of the worst teams in the league. Again, I have no reason for this other than, hey, first thought was that Carolina covers six and a half. I'll take Carolina. Denver minus a point in a half versus Indianapolis at Indianapolis. I've taken Denver. And I think Denver wins the game. And here's why I think Denver wins the game. Obviously, Daniel Jones played his balls off in week one. And Daniel Jones is getting all the hype now. And Daniel Jones is getting all the love. And people are talking about whether or not Daniel Jones is back and whether or not it was a change of scenery needed. I'm watching

the Pat Mac if he's shown it's nonstop coverage of Daniel Jones. Well, Denver is still a really solid team defensively. And Bo Nix, they had to grind out a win at home. Obviously, it wasn't as easy as they thought it would be against the Titans. I love to fade teams that the whole world is all over that have been the talking point all week. The Colts have been a huge talking point. And also let us not forget. And Jilly will bring this to your attention if she were here.

They had Jim Ursay's powers. It was Jim Ursay Day and Peyton Manning is there and Pat McAfee is there. And they're playing all of Ursay's favorite songs. and it's like it was a perfect storm for victory, right? It's kind of like there's no way the Saints were going to lose their opener in the dome after Katrina. There was no way the Colts were going to play poorly and lose in their first game after Jim Ursay died at home. I think Denver goes in there and blows their house down.

I'm taking Broncos minus a point in a half. Eagles go to Kansas City. I think the Eagles roll into town and beat the Chiefs. I understand the Chiefs are coming off a loss. And this would be a perfect spot for the Chiefs to get right at home. When I say, get right, get right, would intimate. They're playing a bum and they're going to kick their ass. They're coming off a loss.

I don't believe the chiefs are that good. The Eagles are still a solid football team. The Eagles are very good. So on the road, I'm taking the birds. I think the birds are going to win this thing. Who are the weapons? Who are the playmakers for Kansas City? It ain't Xavier worthy.

Kelsey's cooked. Who's it going to be? Eagles, I think AJ Brown bounces back with a really big game. game because he'd have to. He had one catch for eight yards last week. I think they're going to be able to move the ball. But you saw how well, look, dude, the Chargers moved the ball very well. Justin Herbert looked great. Now, granted, these are two different types of quarterbacks. Justin Herbert is going to sling it, whereas that's not really what you're going to get out of Hertz. I get that. I think the birds go on the road and beat Kansas City.

Atlanta at Minnesota. I'm going with the fucking upset from my boys as a three and a half point dog. My Falcons, who should have won against Tampa, but the fucking kicker blew it. My man, Michael Pinnock's. Just know that I'm going to be riding this guy all year. I've got to ride his ass like Zorro. Taking the Falcons money line at Minnesota. I think they're feeling McCarthy here.

I don't think he's any good. He had one quarter. I don't care how great his fucking quarterback workout was and all this shit. I keep hearing about McCarthy. Oh, because he came back in one, he's great. He didn't play well. He had one good quarter. I'm taking Pinnock.

Put some respect on Michael Penish Jr's name. Buccaneers against the Texans. I think the Texans come home and get a win because I don't think the Texans are nearly as bad as they looked offensively. It would be impossible to look that bad again. Tampa, Tampa looked kind of shoddy offensively for most of that game. And they caught a break late in the game. They missed an extra point that kept him alive.

I love Baker. Baker's my dude. You guys know I love Bakey. But I think CJ and the boys get it done at home. week. Again, first instinct. That's what this bit's going to be called. Like, I don't really break these games down during the week. Some of these I don't even know are happening until I read them. Just first thought about these games. Bam, what's my first thought? My first instinct does Texans win this game at home? They're two and a half point favorite. And finally,

Chargers versus Raiders, I am taking the Chargers and I think it's going to be a shootout because I buy into the Chargers big time. You know, Vegas is an hour flight or whatever. So it's not like they're having to, you know, travel across the country to play a middling Raiders team. I like Gino a lot I like Pete a lot but I think the Chargers are really fucking good and the Chargers are really in position where they could win that division

that division is so fun right now but I'm first instinct is Chargers get the W in that one that's the late goddamn that game's at 10 o'clock on Monday I'm going to be up till 2 in the fucking morning on Monday anyway so that's the first thoughts first thought I have on those games and we will have more to come
