Hey friends, what's going on?
I'm sitting in the car right now actually.
About to get myself suited up.
Because today I am going to attempt to DoorDash.
I've set up my DoorDash account.
I am a Dasher now.
I gave my whole life to this random app, which automatically you're like, what the fuck are you thinking?
We worry about identity theft all the time.
And here we are like, oh, DoorDash wants my social security number, a picture of my license, my address, my date of birth, everything about me. Do I have birthmarks? They want everything about me, does this DoorDash.
And I'm like, well, shit, I don't have a job and nobody's calling my ass back. And my severance
ran out two days ago. So, hey, everybody, here's every piece of information about me.
So if this isn't DoorDash, or probably DoorDash is going to use all my information
and sell it on the web somewhere. But here we are.
I have never DoorDashed before.
But as I sit in the car right now, I'm about to open the DoorDash app for the first time.
So I'm looking at it now.
Let me actually close this and reopen it.
I have the Dasher app.
So, I mean, I've been reading stories, people saying that they can make, you know, $100 a day or X hundred dollars a day or X hundred dollars a week.
I'm curious.
Hey, also, I figured out the unemployment thing.
So, good news is, guys, after taxes, your boy is going to be bringing in about 300 bucks a week from the government.
Let's go.
I'm about two months away from living in a box.
So, let's see what
happens. See if the Houston job works out. I'm trying every angle I can to get that job,
but we'll see what happens. All right, let's see here. Earn per offer. So there's very big in the,
you got to go to an area that's very busy. How do you do that? What area is this? Very busy. That's way over there. That's a
vast area. So very busy. Okay, so I'm looking at the app right now. There's busy areas and then
very busy. So the area I'm in, more like Kirkwood, that's Webster Groves. What about Kirkwood and
boy, that goes way down there
though to hire. Boy, that's a lot of driving. Like from where I am right now, if I had to drive all
the way out to, boy, that's a long drive. That covers a lot of ground there. So let's see this
area, which says it's busy. So I'm going to see how this shit ends up working out. We're going to
see here. I don't know how much money I'm going to make today, Door ends up working out. We're going to see here.
I don't know how much money I'm going to make today, DoorDash,
or if this is even going to be worth my time.
These are big-ass areas, man.
Let me see here.
Dash along the way.
I don't even know what the hell that means.
I just go pick up shit along the way to this area? What about this area?
Dash now.
Webster Groves.
Busy.
This area.
That would feature Webster Groves.
Okay, hold on.
Now this shit's a pain in the ass.
God damn me.
I was making well into six figures
and now here I am sitting in a fucking car
that's covered in ice and snow
about to go deliver fucking Taco Bell
to people at their fucking places of business.
Kids choose a different line of work. Don't be like uncle Josh. Uncle Josh chose a bad path.
That path was radio. And I know what you're saying. Well, uncle Josh, you've made a lot of money and I
ain't gotten none of it left. So I've just got a bunch of fucking debt at this point in my life.
Don't be like uncle Josh. That's a bad idea. Let's see here.
How can I set this microphone up where I can keep talking and drive here? I don't even know if it's
possible. I need to get like a lapel microphone for this. Hold on. Let me get this thing started
and I'll resume. Okay, I've accepted my first order in Collinsville or Fairview Heights, Illinois.
I'm going into the Chick-fil-A. I have no fucking clue what to do. It's go time, guys. All right, everybody, I have picked up Don L. M.'s Chick-fil-A
and I am on the way. It is currently 1127 here in Fairview Heights, Illinois,
and he needs it there by 1143. My man's got some nugs and some fries and some ketchup and some Chick-fil-A sauce.
And my man Donnell, well, essentially he's got an eight count nug, a 12 count nug and some fries.
And also a lemonade.
So this is my first DoorDash ever.
It says I'm guaranteed to make at least like $8 and maybe more.
So this is a pretty historic moment for me.
And we're going to see how it goes.
See if I get a tip.
Let's see if Donnell tips.
We're going to find out on Dashtale.
All right, Donnell, hold tight.
I'm in Collinsville, Illinois,
trying to get Donnell or Danelle
his or her chicken filet order.
Going to be there in about two minutes.
So I had to be there by 1143.
It should get me there at 1137.
I'm currently passing the world's largest bottle of catsup.
Brooke's old original catsup.
It's a giant bottle of catsup.
Catsup is a horrible name.
It's ketchup.
And if you call it catsup, I guarantee that it's nasty.
And I guarantee you're a dipshit and you're a hillbilly. So don't eat cats up. It's ketchup. All right,
Danelle, hold tight partner. So when I deliver this food, do you think I have a better chance
of getting a better tip? If I say something like, Hey, Donnell, have a blessed one. We'll find out.
All right, guys, upset alertpset alert. I just delivered
my first door dash. I have dashed for the first time. I delivered to Donnell,
but I don't think it was Donnell. I thought Donnell, I'm being real. I thought it was Donnell
and I thought it was going to be a black dude. Upset alert. Was not a dude, nor was she black.
It was actually a middle-aged white woman,
so I'm thinking her name was Donnell.
And I got it there plenty early.
Now, that was like a 10-mile drive to bring this woman some food,
so I can't help what the temperature of the food is.
I hope it's still good.
But upset special, baby.
Donnell is not Donnell. I'm thinking Donnell.
And it's a woman. So there you go. We have dashed for the first time. I wonder what she's going to
tip. I was very pleasant. I didn't say have a blessed one, but she seems like the kind that
would have appreciated that. I just said, you have a good one now. So we're going to find out. I'll let you know what I got tipped.
All right, guys.
I think I made $8.50 total on that dash.
So, so far, from my efforts, I have made $8.50, and I have delivered one order.
