Starting point is 00:00:00 So you get fired from your job because you discriminate against someone and then you go to social media and you're like, hey, I need money for this. Please give me money. And like these are the kind of things. And believe whatever the fuck you want to believe. If you want to believe Trump's the devil, believe Trump's the devil. I don't care what you believe. But we have to stop rewarding people. Like, of course she started to go fund me.
Starting point is 00:00:22 You know why? Because right down the road in Detroit and Dearborn in this area right here in Detroit and the metro area here, you know what happened? a couple months ago, some guy at a card plant said that Trump's a pedophile or supports pedophiles gets suspended from his job for a couple days and people start a go fund me that makes him like a million dollars or ever much that was. I think it was less than a million dollars. But the guy made a shitload of money because people went to social media and went to go fund me and funded this guy. So why wouldn't you? Why wouldn't we do that? Why wouldn't you go out and say Trump's a pedophile and That's why I got fired from my job and then try to start a go fund me.
Starting point is 00:01:01 It's smart on her part. But until we stop rewarding people for doing this kind of shit, people are going to continue to do it. And the same way that like, like if you were a, if you own a business and you want to discriminate against somebody, more power to you. You own the fucking business. This chick doesn't own the business. Like we hear stories all the time about people who won't bake cakes for gay people, right? Well, that's their fucking right to do that because they own the business. It's their small business.
Starting point is 00:01:26 If they want to deal with the backlash that comes with that. They want people to fucking, you know, ruin their business and they want nobody to come to their stores anymore. That's their choice. You don't own smoothie king. There are people who are franchisees of smoothie king. And there are people who are the people that work at the smoothie king that is being franchised by somebody. But you don't own that business. So if you own a business, do whatever the fuck you want.
Starting point is 00:01:51 It'd be bad business, in my opinion, to not serve somebody because they wear a Trump hoodie or not serve somebody because they're gay or whatever. But at least you have the right to do that. And the only person at the end of the day that you're really hurting is you. Because your business will get just crushed on social media and other reviews. And it may kill your business. In communities across Canada, hourly Amazon employees earn an average of over $24.50 an hour. Employees also have the opportunity to grow their skills and their paycheck by enrolling in free skills training programs for in-demand fields like software development and information. Information technology.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Learn more at aboutamazon.ca. Where are my gloves? Come on, heat. Winter is hard, but your groceries don't have to be. This winter, stay warm. Tap the banner to order your groceries online at voila.ca. Enjoy in-store prices without leaving your home. You'll find the same regular prices online as in-store.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Many promotions are available both in-store and online, though some may vary. You don't have the right to do that if you're someone at smoothie king. You don't represent. You are not smoothie king. You are not like, you know, Cornelius J. smoothie. King, Cornelius J. smoothie. That is not you.
Starting point is 00:03:23 You are just rando person who happens to be working at that location that day. But that's a bigger picture issue. The bigger picture issue that we are dealing with is that we have allowed people to believe that this person is such a demon, such a piece of shit. Hitler, whatever. Like, we talk about this all the time. These people do not know how fucked up Hitler was. And a lot of these people are uneducated and not take the time to learn about the atrocities of things like the Holocaust or like slavery.
Starting point is 00:03:52 So they just kind of throw them around loosely and they try to compare what's happening to them now to what happened to people in these eras. And it is so beyond fucked up and so beyond uneducated. And they are so beyond stupid that it's comical. And that's not a defense of Trump. that is a statement about where we are as people where we're basically allowing people to call this guy Hitler. I don't tell you, I don't like the guy. So if you don't like the guy, you don't like the guy.
Starting point is 00:04:17 But it can't just be he's either Hitler or he's a god. It can't be those two things. And that's what it is because nobody has any nuance and there's no middle ground on any of this shit. So what you end up with is the kind of shit you just got in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where someone's like, I'm going to deny service to these people because they're wearing a Trump hoodie, and then I'm going to film it. Now, sounds like the people who were denied service started filming first, so maybe this girl got her camera out and started to film shit too because you want to have evidence.
Starting point is 00:04:44 And as you know, it looks like you're trying to instigate something when you do that, but you kind of have to. You kind of have to start rolling on things because it's your word against theirs, so you need video of it. Like, that's what happened to us when we were at the Super Bowl in Minnesota. And the Super Bowl thing was what it was. Like the fight at the Super Bowl was what it was. but when we got back to the hotel and there was someone who lied, flat out lied about something that I said, I'm sure I've told this part of the story before. I'm not going to tell you who it was. But when we got back to the hotel after the Radio Row thing and there was all this drama about Radio Row and they'd kicked one of the, they'd kicked us all off a Radio Row.
Starting point is 00:05:25 And it was all perceived to be my fault on this turd and everything. and we're sitting in the hotel lobby waiting for an Uber and somebody that we know was super pissed and came in and was walking towards an elevator and like somehow in his warped fucking mind convinced himself that I said something insulting to him when I said absolutely nothing. I said nothing. I sat there. The person walked by. We sat in silence.
Starting point is 00:05:53 We were kind of off in the distance in this lobby of this Lakeitha, and wherever the fuck it was we were. and this person walks by and says, what did you say to me? I'm like, I literally didn't say a fucking word, but this person had created like they're out for coming over and basically trying to fucking fight me because they said, you said something. And even if what I said was what he claims I said,
Starting point is 00:06:16 it wasn't even like an insulting thing. It wasn't a racial thing. It was none of this shit. It was just this person lost his fucking mind, okay? And was wanting to come start shit. And was like, you said, whoa, whoa, whoa. and starts kind of going at me and then I stand up and then like Jilly tells him to basically to scram and he gets in Jilly's like bitch shut the fuck up and it looks like he was about to clock Jilly so I had to stand up and get in the middle
Starting point is 00:06:39 I'm like I've stood I'm like I'm in the middle of these two people yelling I don't know if I've ever told I'm sure I've told the story I've told every story a million times so I don't know whatever but like and we're in the middle of this and Jilly started filming because like you need evidence because here's the thing man all it takes is somebody lying about you and you're fucked so it looks tacky and you're fucked so it looks tacky and it looks like you're setting somebody up when you start filming, and that was kind of the angle, like, oh, why did you start filming? Because you're trying to make me look bad? No, I'm trying to cover my fucking bases, because if you're someone who's crazy enough to walk through a fucking lobby
Starting point is 00:07:09 and claim I said something that no one heard me say because it didn't fucking happen, then you're crazy enough to go lie about me because you're one of these people who is entitled and believes that all you have to do is lie about somebody and that you'll get away with it. So we started filming that. So then what I had to do is send that video to my bosses, and it was a whole fucking deal. And they eventually had to, they called the cops on this guy and they had to kick him out of the hotel.
Starting point is 00:07:31 And it was a whole fucking deal. But like in that situation, like I get why you start filming. I get that it looks tacky. I get that it looks like you were deliberately trying to instigate something. And that's usually the first question people ask when they see that you have a video of a situation. They say, well, why were you filming this, huh? You were trying to set someone up. No, I was essentially attacked by someone and someone was going to lie about me if we didn't have video.
Starting point is 00:07:57 evidence of what went down. So I understand that. Like I get if somebody starts filming you, like if the Trump people started filming. And I do wonder, like if you wear Trump shit, like you know that there are going to be people who are going to come up to you and say shit.
Starting point is 00:08:10 I don't believe these people walked into smoothie king two days ago and were like, hey, I know someone's going to start some shit with me. So I need to make sure I got my shit on lock. So I'm going to start like I know that they're going to start shit. So then I'm going to film it and make them look bad. Like I don't think these people just walked in. And here's the end.
Starting point is 00:08:27 other thing, man. And this is not to defend Trump people or rip anybody. But in my experience, I don't believe that most level-headed people that are political in any way go out looking to start shit with people, because most level-headed people aren't. I don't believe that the majority of people who are Trump people go into a store when they're wearing a MAGA hat and they're trying to start shit. And many of them don't even wear the shit because they don't want to start shit. Like they're going to vote for who they're going to vote for. They don't want to deal with it. They don't want to fight with people. So part of me believes that when you put on a Trump hoodie or a Trump hat and you know the kind of reaction you're going to fucking get.
Starting point is 00:09:01 You're kind of welcoming that. You kind of want it. I don't think that's what we're dealing with here. And I guess it's different when it's like a, like it's something about the hat. Like if you put on the hat, like it's like over the top, like you put on the, you know, I turn my hat around, you know, and it's like I become like a different truck, you know. Like I think there's a different reaction you're going to get from people with the hat than say a hoodie or a t-shirt or whatever. But we have. And I don't believe that these people walked in looking to start shit with anybody.
Starting point is 00:09:30 But here's where you lose me, all right? Where you lose me if you're the girl that filmed this. I don't care that you filmed it. And I don't really care that you posted it. I think where you lose credibility and it's clearly like your clout chasing is you go to social media. That's like your first instinct. It's like, I'll post this on social media. And then your first instinct is to put on social media and then say, like if you want to call it a
Starting point is 00:09:55 demeaning label that you throw on somebody. Look, this is what happens when fighting with Trumpies goes wrong. You lose me when it's clear your clout chasing. I don't believe you film that to clout chase. I believe you filmed it because they started filming you and you wanted to go back and forth. And you wanted to make sure you had video of it. And maybe in your thoughts, it was, boy, this is going to go viral. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say that that wasn't her thought.
Starting point is 00:10:15 I don't think she was trying to go viral. But when you recorded the video and then your first instinct is to post it and put, you know, when fighting with Trumpies goes wrong, then you lose. me. I don't believe that you were threatened. I don't believe that you were scared. I don't believe that your person working. You lose credibility. Whether that's fair or not, you start to lose credibility in situations like that. And that's where you lost me. Like, to me, your credibility was shot when your first instinct is to go to social media, call people Trumpies, and try to get some cloud. And then you start to fucking go fund me. Like, what the fuck are we doing? Like, that's where you lose me. But Getting ready for a game means being ready for anything, like packing a spare stick.
Starting point is 00:11:00 I like to be prepared. That's why I remember, 988, Canada's Suicide Crisis Hubline. It's good to know, just in case. Anyone can call or text for free confidential support from a train responder anytime. 988 Suicide Crisis Helpline is funded by the government in Canada.
