I don't know how anybody takes the Dallas Cowboys seriously as an organization.
Moneymaker, yes, very popular, yes, sell a ton of merchandise, yes, very famous owner, yes.
A lot of things about the Cowboys are easy to explain.
What's not easy to explain is how anybody takes them seriously as a football team.
And the thing is, nobody actually does.
Nobody actually watches the Dallas Cowboys.
It says, you know what I do?
I take these guys seriously.
they're going to win the Super Bowl.
Nobody takes these guys seriously because they're a clown college,
and every time they do something that leads you to believe,
hey, maybe they're going in the right direction.
Like, again, I don't know why beating a winless Texans team
is some sort of great accomplishment,
but everybody was blowing them after they did it.
The Texans are not good.
They're 0 and 4, but the Cowboys beat them.
So it was like, hey, look out, guys.
The Cowboys are rolling.
Look out.
Offense is great.
Dax cooking.
Then on a short week,
they play a game against the winless Tampa team.
Like they had back-to-back games against winless teams.
They come home.
Now, this is after playing a game in Brazil and playing a game in Houston.
So they haven't played a home game in forever.
They play at home on a Thursday,
winless team against a guy, what, making a second start ever.
And they fucking lose like a bunch of jamokes.
All right, let's do this.
Let's play a few commercials.
And then we will continue.

It is truly remarkable to watch the Cowboys, though,
because they're a nine and a half point favorite for this game.
By the way, it is 1128 in the Central Time Zone as I sit here tonight drinking a Coors Light.
I went to the bar tonight, had some beers, watched that game.
And I'm sitting here at home.
Ross is chewing on some sort of chew.
Jilly is in bed.
It is just I hanging out tonight.
And what is inevitable?
Not even inevitable.
That's not the word I'm looking for.
Maybe it is.
It is inevitable that any time you think the Cowboys are going to do something worth of shit,
anytime you believe that the Cowboys might, you know, hey, go on a little run here,
anytime you believe that, hey, maybe the Cowboys aren't the same shit they've always been with Dak.
So I was listening to the Cowboys pregame show today.
And there was an interview with the play-by-play guy, Brad Sham, and the coach.
And at one point, Brad Sham points out to Brian Schottenheimer.
He says, hey, are you aware that DAC is only like one win away from surpassing Roger Stalbach for second all time and Cowboys wins for a quarterback?
And it's like, I don't know if there's a guy that's won more meaningless fucking football games in his life.
This guy is going to gobble up statistics.
He's going to gobble up wins.
He's going to do all this shit.
And none of them will matter because they've never done a fucking thing in the playoffs.
and games like tonight are a joke.
Games like tonight are why Dack Press Scott is not taking seriously.
Guy can sling it, he can gobble up stats.
There are so many games that they're down 14 in the third quarter.
Like this one, they were down 14 points.
This game should have been over.
With about eight minutes to go, this game should have been over.
Here's exactly what dipshit Todd Bowles should have done,
but he didn't do it because they're 0 and 4.
Like, I don't care if you're 0 and 4 or you're 15 and 1,
or whatever it is you are.
With eight minutes to go in a game,
you're at the one yard line on a fourth down,
and you can kick a field goal to go up three scores
with under eight minutes to go.
It is virtually impossible for a team
to score three fucking times
in seven minutes at the end of a game.
It is almost impossible.
Yet you're like, oh, we're going to do.
We're just going to not only are we going to go for,
we're going to run the most generic-ass bullshit, try to flex our cocks and run up the middle play,
and you're going to get stopped, and then Dak's going to go bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
That is certainly not the team you do that against.
Like, I'll say one thing about the Cowboys.
The Cowboys have an explosive offense, even without CD Lamb, who barely played.
But even without CD Lamb, you've got explosive players all over the field.
And Dak is a very good stat gobbler, particularly when they're down multiple scores in the fourth quarter.
So I understand the logic.
The logic is even if we don't get it, they have to go 99 yards.
Great.
They can do that.
That's their offense.
They can go bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, and go down and score.
And they did, by the way, quickly.
And then they got the ball back and should have had to pick six.
But what is the point in all of this?
I'm just trying to understand the logic, right?
Like Todd Bowles, what a fucking maroon.
Like just a dumb, just a dumb, just a dumb decision.
decision. Like what exactly are you doing there? What is your plan there? So like, now,
Grant, if they score a touchdown, they're up three touchdowns, right? Cool. Whether it's three
touchdowns or two touchdowns and a field goal, it's still a three possession game. That means
the Cowboys have to get the ball three times. They have to score three times in seven minutes,
seven and a half minutes, whatever the number was. You held onto the ball for 11 minutes in the
first quarter. You proved you could do it. There was absolute
no reason for the bucks to go for that fourth down at all.
You kick the field goal.
You go up 17.
It's a three possession game.
It is virtually impossible for a team to come back and beat you.
But instead you go for it.
You don't get it.
Dach goes bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, in a few minutes.
They go down the field score a touchdown.
Inexplicably, and I'll never get this.
I will never understand the, well, you got to go for two here because then you know exactly
what you need.
It's such a stupid mindset.
You can't just throw blanket over mindsets like that
and go and say, well, here's what we're going to do
because you have to know what you need to ultimately now
if you get this two-pointer you get the ball back,
that means you go score a touchdown, you win the game.
Great.
But not every game is created equal.
Not every game is the same.
Like I would have zero doubt.
Like if you look at that game,
if it went to overtime, I do not believe Tampa
could have beaten that team in overtime because I don't think they had enough offense to do it.
They had a rookie quarterback making his second start ever, and he played fine. He made a couple
of nice throws. He ran the ball a little bit. There was nothing special about what he was doing.
He just avoided turnovers for the most part and took care of the ball and his defense turned
him over three times in the second half. And that was all well and good. Like there is no reason
ever. I don't care what the fucking analytics tell you. I don't know. I do not care. I don't. I don't
care what analytics tell you. There is no reason when you're down by 14 at home and you're the
better team at 10 point favorite at home. There is no reason ever for you to go for two after
you've just scored. You marched down the field 99 yards. You scored and you have an opportunity
to cut it to seven. Why would you do that? Like if you're going to go for two, then fuck it. Go for two
with the game on the line and try to win it on the last play of the game. There's no reason to do that
there, especially when you're at home, especially facing a rookie quarterback, who's not like some
rookie, like rock star quarterback. He's a rookie that wasn't drafted from fucking Kansas. There is
absolutely no reason to do any of this. It's inexplicable. There were so many bad decisions
made by coaches in this game, just bad, stupid, moronic decisions. Like, there is no universe
where Todd Bowles made the right decision to go for it
on fourth and goal at the one.
Because whether you're up 21 or up 17,
you're up three scores.
There was no way the Cowboys were going to get the ball back
and score three times on you.
It is virtually impossible.
I don't have the data in front of me.
I don't have the numbers in front of me.
I couldn't tell you what the statistics tell you,
what the metrics tell you.
But what I can tell you is this.
There was a next to nil possibility
that was under eight minutes to,
go a team, no matter how explodes that they are, was going to march down the field on you and
score three times, whether it be two touchdowns in a field goal or three touchdowns, they were
not going to do it. It is virtually impossible to do. Yet for whatever reason, Todd Bowles is like,
hey, here's an idea. We're 0.14. Let's flex our dicks a little bit. Like, it is stupid.
That is mind-nummingly dumb by Todd Bowles. And the fact that Todd Bowles still has a job.
is pretty remarkable.
In fact, they got Brian Schottenheimer.
They marched right down the field.
They got plenty of time after they score the touchdown.
There is no reason to go for two.
That is 2026 analytics dipshit stuff.
Go for the extra point.
Cut it to seven, okay?
Cut it to seven.
And then go down, get the ball back, go score.
This isn't difficult.
I don't understand why this is so hard for these people to grasp.
But instead, you got outsmart.
the room and then you got what you deserved.
Whenever you got the ball back, you're driving down the field.
And even if they would have gone down and scored there,
now they would have had to go for two just to tie the game.
Now you set yourself up where no matter what you need two possessions.
Well, I say two possessions, but a touchdown on a two-point inversion.
It's just stupid.
I watch these guys and I'm blown away by how dumb and the lack of common sense that these guys use.
And all that said,
they're marching down the field should have scored a touchdown and had the chance to go for two,
but the fucking pass hits Ferguson in his face and bouncing the air is intercepted.
Then they still have three timeouts left.
So you're like, hey, maybe they can get a stop.
Oh, they give up 20 yards on a second and 12.
Like, they're just, it's, it is fascinating to watch dumb decisions at the highest level.
Like, we're talking about the highest level of football.
This isn't college.
This is professional football we're talking about here.
and we're watching these guys just do incredibly dumb shit.
Decisions made by dudes making millions of dollars.
But arguably the dumbest.
They're going for two.
There is some sort of logic in that.
I disagree with it.
I think it's stupid.
But whatever.
But the idea that you're Todd Bowles,
you're O and 4.
And even if you weren't O and 4, even if you were 4 and 0.
I understand why you do certain things when you're 0 and 4 because you're like,
why the fuck not?
We're 0 and 4.
Like we've lost four games in a row.
Our life is difficult.
Let's go out and just try to win a damn game.
Let's like, you know, like that's like a, hey, it's a fourth and whatever.
Let's just go for it and try to ice the game and not punt it and give it back to them.
Like that, that type of shit.
You know, I get that.
I respect that.
I appreciate that.
What I cannot get or respect or appreciate is the idea that you're at the one yard line.
and with under eight minutes to go,
you are a field goal away from forcing the cowboys
to have to not only score three times,
they have to get the ball back three times under eight minutes.
It is almost impossible to do that.
Even if you ran the ball three times in your next possession,
what is the play clock, 40 seconds, whatever it is?
Even if you ran it three times and had to punt,
you're going to eat up two minutes of that.
So then you're down to about six minutes of football to go.
They then have to score three times in six minutes.
If you, doing the math, you could eat up half of that time just by running three times and punting twice.
It's like, I'm blown away.
I'm just blown away by the stupidity.
By just being that mind, it's just mind-nummingly stupid.
Gonna go on again, your season's kind of over anyway, but is it?
I mean, look at what you're doing.
you're in a division right now where the best team has two wins.
You win that game, which they did.
One in four sucks.
You're one game out of first.
But you could have fucked around and cost yourself because the Cowboys,
if the Cowboys weren't almost as dumb as you,
the Cowboys would have gone down and scored on that 99-yard drive,
which they did.
They cut it to eight.
They should have kicked the extra point to make it seven.
Then they got the ball back.
They're driving down again.
If Jay Ferguson, who's probably more busy burying his face,
of this Cavender's ass, this Haley Cavender's ass, instead of catching passes, because this
motherfucker puts up no numbers anymore. If he catches the ball that hits him in the fucking
face, they go down and score. You know, that very well should, could have been a tie ball game
if the Cowboys were smart. Then you would have had a tie ball game late in that game,
you would have been trying to figure out how to win. And if you go 0 and 5, that's truly all
she wrote in that shitty division. But if you kick the field, like, I just, I'm blown away.
way by it. I'm blown away by how fucking stupid a team can be. My Christ, you kick the field goal.
You go up 17. There was no real extra benefit going up 21 over 17. They still had to score three times.
Like, I don't even care about either one of these teams. I don't give a fuck about Tampa and I don't
give a fuck about the Cowboys. But I'm watching this. And I'm just blown away by how a team can
do like just how dumb a coach could be. These people make millions of dollars. I'm sitting at a bar
eating fucking fried Oreos, drinking beers, drinking some shiners at a bar. And I'm like,
I'm smarter than you. And I understand that I couldn't be a play caller. I'm not that, you know,
naive, right? I couldn't be a play caller, but I can tell you like, hey, let's either run the ball here,
pass the ball here, let's kick a field goal, let's go for the touchdown. Like that's basically
what being a head coach is.
You sit there and go, hey, let's run.
No, we're going to sit on it three times and punt.
You know, that type of shit.
I could have fucking told you from my Madden experience,
my 40 years of playing Madden, kick the field goal.
It's just, and I know it didn't cost them the game,
but it should have.
Todd Bowles not kicking the field goal there,
deserve to lose.
Then on the other hand,
Brian Schottenheimer, going for fucking two inexplicably,
deserved to lose.
Two dipshit coaches that deserve to lose.
