So I got more on Sanders here, Shadur Sanders, because as I took Ross to get his bath today,
I was listening to some shit, some podcasts. Actually, I wasn't even listening to podcasts.
I was scrolling through Instagram, and I see a reel in some podcast where this gal is talking
about how she's disgusted by how targeted Shadur Sanders was in this draft, and how it's awful that
he didn't get taken in the first round, and how it's terrible that Jackson Dart got taken ahead of Shader Sanders and she's rooting for him because
he feels like she feels like it was personal and targeted like can you guys stop parroting
what his fucking dad says like I get that you're all afraid of Deion Sanders and you're all afraid
of social media and shit you think you're gonna get some clout by blowing Shadur Sanders.
And that's fine.
Like, I'm sure that there's some universe
where there's a bunch of people
that are going to view you as a hero
because you make it sound like this fucking kid
who's a nepo baby,
the son of a hall of fucking famer,
a guy whose dad was his coach at multiple colleges.
I'm sure that you'll be a hero
by saying that this guy has been mistreated
and missed, oh, blah, blah, blah.
What a sad world
for Shadur Sanders it must be so tough to be Deion Sanders kid it must be so difficult to have to
transfer from school to school to follow your dad who's the coach and it must be so difficult to
grow up with wealth and all the things you could ever imagine in life your life is so difficult
like I get it if you want the guy to succeed hopefully he does
I don't dislike the guy he seems fine as I said in a previous podcast he comes across as a guy who
doesn't even really want to be this character that he's almost kind of forced into playing because of
who his dad is like he doesn't come across as a guy that's this big brash personality that wants
to talk shit to people all day and be this
prime character but he's kind of forcing himself into doing that like he seems like he's more of
a chill dude that's being kind of like forced into this whether purposely or unintentionally
that's how it feels but like this idea that it was some personal affront to him and Deion Sanders
that somehow his kid wasn't taken in the first round.
You know how many quarterbacks were taken in the first round? Two. That's it. If eight quarterbacks
were taken in the first round and Sanders wasn't one of them, maybe you could say it's some sort
of attack against this dude. Two dudes were taken. One team made the decision to take Jackson Dart.
He doesn't, like, Jackson Dart's fine. Shidder sanders is fine they decide to take jackson dart
cam ward was going to be the number one pick and was the number one pick that was never going to
be shitter sanders the saints decided to take an offensive lineman because they're stuck in this
drama with their dipshit quarterback derrick car so they didn't take shitter sanders but like
i said like what's fascinating to me is the number of media people who are fucking petrified of Deion Sanders.
Like, I saw some video of Joel Klatt going off about how terrible and personal it was that Shadur Sanders wasn't taken.
Like, dude, pop Deion's balls out of your mouth for five minutes, man.
Like, if five quarterbacks were taken, if three quarterbacks were taken and one wasn't Shadur, I'd go, maybe you're onto something. Two dudes were taken. One was the number one overall draft pick. That's it.
But you're sitting here making it sound like the whole world was out to get him. Maybe the whole
world wasn't out to get him. Maybe his dad created a fucking narrative that the whole world was out
to get him. Maybe his dad's the reason why he wasn't taken in the first round. Or maybe it's
as simple as there weren't enough teams that needed a quarterback.
Find me the teams that needed them.
Like I saw one guy was like, oh, they're going to rue the day that Shadur Sanders didn't get drafted in the first round.
Well, what team needed him?
Like do you just draft Shadur Sanders because like the internet tells you to draft Shadur Sanders and he's's Dion's kid and he's flashy and shit. But like they've created this world, like the prime and the internet and these media people
who are complicit with it have formed this narrative, this idea that his kid is being
unfairly shit on and that the world's out to get him. If that's the case, it's because you
made this world with your reality shows and you're
constantly talking about how great your kid is like that's to his detriment do you not get that
you can say that it shouldn't be but it is so you create this world where like they've done a
brilliant job they've created a world where that now that he hasn't gotten drafted, it has nothing to
do with him and it has everything to do with the rest of the world having whatever biases against
his kid or him that they have. It's preposterous. It is stupid. But that's what we hear. That's what
this is going to be. And watching these sycophant media people parrot, it's almost like they're
reading from a script. Oh, it's this personal affront against
shadur sanders and this is terrible and this isn't even about him that's the worst part
he's just kind of the friendly fire in this in this war of dion versus media and sources now i
will agree with one thing if you're an anonymous source that has that's skeptical of of of uh
sanders like some coach that was like that almost said he was threatened by him,
put your fucking name on it.
I agree with that.
But I say that about everything about anonymous sources.
Put your fucking name on something.
Put your name on it, see where it goes.
I agree with that.
100%, you should always put your name on it.
I'd like to see that.
Because if you're going to talk shit about someone
and you're going to say that you thought
that they were arrogant or cocky in their interview,
then let's see who you are. But other than that, Dion has made this bed for his kid.
But because it's Dion, because it's Prime, all of the kind of shit that we usually associate with
rich helicopter parents of little athlete children, the kind of dad that goes out and
tells his kid or the coach he should be playing his fucking kid. We rip those people generally. These are the people
that we shit on and we go, dude, let your kid live his life. But because it's Dion, people are scared
shitless of Dion. He's brilliant. He's created a world where you cannot disagree with him. If you
disagree with him, you're a piece of shit. So he's got his cult of people that will follow him wherever and whenever.
They will continue to follow him and believe anything he says.
It is completely unfathomable to Deion Sanders
that maybe his actions are impacting his kid's ability to get drafted.
To me, most importantly, it's because they don't view him as good enough
and there were no places for him to go he wasn't some all-world generational super talent if he were they put up with his dad being
Dion and they put up with all the the attention and the glitz and the glamour they do that if
they felt he was good enough like we create this world where we're like NFL teams only take boring
people and like they just want guys that they can control trust me if they
felt this dude was the second coming and they felt he was mike vick peyton manning all wrapped into
one they would not give a fuck they'd put up with his dad they're not putting up with it because
they don't view him as talented enough to do it it's that simple but dion has done a brilliant job
of creating a world where his kid is getting dumped on and shit on and passed over because,
well, the media doesn't like Prime and the coaches don't like Prime and they don't like my son.
It's bogus. And the reason why Prime's so passionate about it is because he's almost
offended because he's living through his kid in this shit. So he views it as an affront to himself.
It's all fucking bizarre. It's all crazy. But these stories I'm seeing like, oh,
you're going to rue the day that you didn't take. Maybe they will. You might be right.
Media guy who's suckling off of the Deontite who's afraid of Deontite. Maybe his kid will be great.
I'm not some expert on who's going to be great at quarterback. So I cannot tell you. I cannot say,
yep, this guy's going to be great or this guy's going to suck I can offer you an opinion and that's as good as I can do for you
I'll do my best on that one however what I can tell you is that part of the like maybe it was a
calculated move because Dion knew his kid wasn't going to get drafted high anyway so maybe this is
the noble thing he could be doing he may have nobly taken these bullets for his kid knowing that he wasn't going
to get drafted in the first round and then he was able to spin it into don't worry they're not
drafting you because they're threatened by me. Maybe I'm giving Dion a ton of credit by saying
that but maybe that was his plan all along. Maybe it was my kid's not going to get taken in the
first round so why don't I create a narrative that the teams are afraid of him because of me
and it's nothing to do with him and his skill.
Maybe that's it.
And the second that Jackson Dart got drafted, I'm like,
ah, shit, here it comes.
This whole thing is going to just fucking, it's wild that someone
who's not really particularly that good, like none of these quarterbacks
in this draft are world-beating guys that you look at and go,
holy shit, these guys are fucking elite, right? None of these quarterbacks in this draft are world-beating guys that you look at and go, holy shit, these guys are fucking elite, right?
None of them are.
But somehow, Shadur Sanders has become the face of all of this.
His dad's done a brilliant job.
I don't even know that he wants to be the face of this shit, but his dad has done a
brilliant job of making him the face of this shit.
And I'm fine with it until I see people with idiotic opinions who are just suckling off
the Deion teat.
There are certain media people who you know are just petrified of Dion.
Dion has created a world where people are scared of him.
Media people are petrified of Dion.
And I think that's what you're seeing in some of these guys.
Because you can tell because they all say the same shit.
They toe the same line.
They read the same material.
It's the same shit.
Oh, it's a personal affront.
No, it isn't a personal attack on someone is is um
dave portnoy calling angel reese a bitch or whatever he called her an asshole uh whatever
that's a that's an affront that is an attack anonymous sources or whatever saying that they
didn't like his personality is not a personal attack it's part of the draft fucking game and
i guarantee if you
go back year after year, there's going to be things like that, that people have said about
dudes coming out of the draft.
