Corona Cero, the official non-alcoholic beer, of Milano Cortina 2026. All right, part two of the Eagles 49ers matchup. So let's look at AJ Brown. Well, we can start if you want to look at Jalen Hertz. The reality is their offense isn't good enough.
Starting point is 00:01:44 And if we're going to look at the coach that's been to the Super Bowl twice and say, what the fuck, dude, you're kind of on the hot scene. We have to kind of start looking at that. You have to say the same thing for the quarterback, who is the leader of the offense that fucking sucked for most of the year. reality, okay? If that's what you're going to do, if we're going to play that game and start pointing fingers at people and say people could be on the chopping block, then one of the guys who at least, look, I'm not saying cut the guy, fire the guy, whatever. What I'm saying is, because I wouldn't
Starting point is 00:02:11 dumb Siriani right now and I certainly wouldn't dumb Jalen Hertz. However, he is not immune to the criticism. That offense is bad. Who is the leader of the offense? The guy that takes every snap. So you can't just ignore that. You all. You all. You all. You all. You all. You also can't ignore the fact the guy's been to two Super Bowls and won one of them was a Super Bowl MVP and has won like 60 some odd percent of his games to start his career. Can't ignore it. Same thing with Siriani. That's what makes the Eagle situation so fascinating.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Because I think we'd all agree that Siriani isn't particularly great and neither is Jalen Hertz. Yet you're not going to part ways with a guy that's won a Super Bowl a year ago or a quarterback that's won a Super Bowl a year ago and should have won two. You're never going to do that. not, you know, in year two, the first year after a Super Bowl win, you're not going to. But it's a fascinating situation. We've done the whole fascinating discussion about Jalen Hertz before. The discussion about Jalen Hertz was, I've never seen a player like him because, you know, statistically he's not fantastic.
Starting point is 00:03:14 You watch him and you don't feel like he's all that great, but he wins so much and has been to two Super Bowls and won one of them that, like, you can't just look at the guy and go, yeah, we can't just dump him? I've never seen anything like it. Anyway, let's play a couple of commercials and we will continue. All right. So, again, it's a very fascinating situation with the Eagles. We know that it's a fascinating situation.
Starting point is 00:03:40 Let's talk about big picture stuff. So obviously you've got Siriani and he's not going to be fired this year. He's a hard on, but they're not going to fire the guy. He went to the Super Bowl twice. He's 1-1. We've said that. Same thing with Jalen Hertz. They're both fascinating because, like, could you be better if both of them were gone?
Starting point is 00:03:57 Maybe. I mean, it's not like a lot. locked in thing where you're like, holy shit, you know, you lose Tom Brady and you fail. Like, could they find a quarterback that's better than Jalen Hurst? Possibly. Like, I wouldn't write it off. Could they find a coach that's better than Siriani? Absolutely. So, but you're not going to fire two people because how do we judge people? We judge people on wins and losses. Do you win the games? And they do more so than they don't. So they're not going to fire those guys. And the idea that they're going to fire those guys is preposterous.
Starting point is 00:04:24 And it's dumb. A guy that may not be back, though, is A.J. Brown. Because A.J. Brown's a cluster fuck, and we know he's a cluster fuck. He was a cluster fuck when he was in Tennessee, and he's a cluster fuck here. First of all, let's hear from Nick Siriani on their little sideline issue that they had a little spat. Their little sideline spat that they had. Here we go. Let's do this. I caught you on AJ at the end of the...
Starting point is 00:04:50 Yeah, you know, I was trying to get them off the field, you know, because we were about to punt, and that was really it. So I love AJ. I think he knows how I feel about him. I enjoyed that he's like, I was trying to get him off the field, and that's all that was. And I get that you, like in the heat of the moment, you're trying to get him off the field because you're about to punt and all that shit. But that look on his face and the level of anger he had for getting him off the field felt a lot more harsh than just, hey, get off the field.
Starting point is 00:05:22 A special relationship with him. We probably went through every emotion you can possibly have together. We've laughed together. We've cried together. We've yelled at each other. You know, we're both emotional. I was trying to get them off the field. And, you know, you never want, you know, that happens in this game.
Starting point is 00:05:39 That happens in this game. But I love them. So to me, and this is just what it looked like to me. And maybe you do love him and maybe you have this wacky love-hate relationship with each other. I'm not dismissing that. I'm sure there's elements of that. Here's how I see it. you've got a guy who probably has a lot of pent up anger towards this cat because like look the guy makes your life more difficult he's good to have and when he's on he's on and he can have big games where he has 100 yards receiving and three touchdowns and like he's a gifted player 100% a gifted player but I think what you saw from homeboy here is there's a there's a feeling of weight that is on you when you're the
Starting point is 00:06:26 coach of the Eagles, especially when every time you go out of the field, there's half the people that want you fired, if not more. There's a weight that comes with having to deal with all the bullshit with A.J. Brown, deal with all the bullshit with A.J. Brown and J.L. Hurtz. There's a lot of bullshit that you have to deal with. And I think at some point, it just boils over. And, like, that situation was not a situation where you're going to be super angry. but because of all of the shit that's piled up, you are.
Starting point is 00:06:58 And it just kind of boils over. Let me watch the video right now. I'm going to watch this. I mean, he got right in his face. And like, to me, that's not, hey, get off the field. Like, that's not what that look like to me. Here we go. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:07:14 He runs over. I mean, you can read his lips. He says, get off the field. Get off the field, get off the field. But the look on his face and the way they got in each other's face is not. not the look of somebody who was just like telling a guy to get off the field and that's it. Sometimes telling the guy to get off the field is more to it. So when you watch a guy drop a pass and miss, like that's also what that is.
Starting point is 00:07:38 That's boil over from, oh, you're dropping these big passes. There's these big plays that could make or break it. My job's on the line. Your job's on the line. Our careers are all on the line. And you bitch constantly about not getting the ball. You bitch constantly about how you don't feel like you're part of the offense. whenever the team's winning and you only have 30 yards, you're not happy.
Starting point is 00:07:55 When you have 110 yards and we lose, you're thrilled. I think that is a boilover. And look, do I think he's lying that they like each other? No, do I think he's lying that they have a wacky relationship with one another? No, I don't know. I'm sure he's being honest. But I do think that was more than just I was telling him to get out of the field. I know why he's not going to say that it's more than telling them to get off the field.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I get it. I understand it. You're not going to say that publicly. Brown probably would, but you're never going to hear from AJ Brown because AJ Brown rolled the fuck out because AJ Brown loves to get in front of a microphone when AJ Brown's not getting his and he wants to get his and he has no problem rolling people up under the bus and making it about him. But when your boy drops two or three huge passes, all of a sudden you don't want to talk
Starting point is 00:08:38 no more. All of a sudden, it's not, hey, I feel like I'm not helping the team. It's I'm going to disappear. And of course, people are going to defend him because he's going to have his defenders that are going to say, well, I mean, he's mad because they lost the game. Do you want to talk after losing the game season's over? No, but you have no problem talking when you want to get more passes thrown your way. You have no problem talking when you want to talk shit about the quarterback and everybody else.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Yet whenever you're the guy that's the goat, not in the fun Tom Brady goat way, but in the goat in its old traditional sense, when you're the goat that's dropping three or four huge passes that could cost the team the game, you don't want to talk. Let me watch this video again. I mean, he's saying, get off the field, get off the field, get off the field, get off the field. They have a great relationship Let's see
Starting point is 00:09:23 So let me break this thing down So he's obviously He's like get off the field Get off the field I mean if you're on the field You could have too many men on the field And again just a little colorful With this star white out
Starting point is 00:09:36 They have a great relationship And then they get each other's face And then you got AJ Brown yelling at him Being held back by people or whatever Like In the heat of the moment They know how much they care for one another And I don't know man
Starting point is 00:09:46 Like I think they've had enough of his shit Like just just like most diva wide receivers are. At some point, there's just a breaking point. At some point, it's like, I don't give a shit about this anymore. At some point, it's not worth the return. That's anything in any walk of life, by the way. At some point, you're not worth the drama.
Starting point is 00:10:06 At some point, people are like, I'm tired of your shit. And the return isn't as good. By the way, the return isn't very good on AJ Brown. You want to know why? Because some games will have 100 yards. And other games, he'll have 10 yards. And then those games he has 10 yards will go to the median bitch. you didn't win a Super Bowl this year
Starting point is 00:10:20 you didn't want a playoff game this year is the guy really worth the fucking headache Is it really worth the guy taking shots at the fucking quarterback Is it really worth it to have the guy over here Is he good enough? Are his numbers good enough? Can you replace him? Is he replaceable For the drama that he causes?
Starting point is 00:10:38 Go back to when I was in Philadelphia, man When we were number one, you'll put up with some bullshit When you're not number one anymore People don't put up with bullshit anymore It's not really that difficult, is it? You know? Like, not hard. So I think they've hit a point.
Starting point is 00:10:57 I think that they just want to fucking cleanse themselves of this guy. Because at the end of the day, how much did he help you win here? Looking at this year, current team, how much did the guy actually help you win? He went to the playoffs, cool. In the biggest game of the year, what did your boy do? Multiple huge drops. do you really want to put up with the bullshit? And that's the biggest question.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Is his productivity, does he consistently have the productivity to justify dealing with the bullshit? It's the pretty girl thing. Like, you'll put up with a lot of fucking crazy if the sex is great. But eventually you just kind of hit a point where you're like, it's not worth it. And I think that's where they are with A.J. Brown. And then it happens on this high level in the place. playoffs, magnify, because the whole world's watching. There's not another game going on.
Starting point is 00:11:51 It's just you on the field, must win game, playoffs, and you bomb it that way. And then you fight on the sideline. And then after the game, you just disappear and don't talk to the media. I mean, look, no one's ever going to accuse AJ Brown of being a leader, right? Like, I mean, look, you want to say one thing about Jalen Hertz, whether or not you think he's great or not? Jalen Hertz has to sit there and answer every fucking question, every stupid question that somebody asks. A.J. Brown, he can avoid those. He can just say, nope, I'm leaving. Quarterback can't do that. Quarterback has to answer the questions.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Quarterback has to sit there and take it. A.J. Brown can just roll out. And that's the perk of being A.J. Brown. Quarterback can't go to the media and bitch. A.J. Brown can. And he does. A lot. So I think they're tired of his shit. Again, that's my 1,000 mile away view of it. I think they're tired of it. And they're not going to cut the coach. They're not going to cut the quarterback. And you can find other wide receivers.
Starting point is 00:12:57 There are playmakers out there. Is A.J. Brown, one of the best in the league? Sure. But the way wide receivers are coming out of ball now and out of college. Dude, they're dudes that can make plays all fucking day. I mean, look at the guy. Look at Kay Sean Booty last night making plays for the Patriots. Where was Kayshon Booty?
Starting point is 00:13:15 drafted. You know what I'm saying? Like these guys, like you can make these guys into ballers. Like obviously you'd rather have elite receivers. You'd rather have Justin Jefferson or you'd rather have Jamar Chase or you'd rather have, you know, insert elite wide receiver. But you don't want to deal with the bullshit. And I think that especially losing in the playoffs the way they did, losing with him fucking up the way he did, I think it makes it easier to just to say, yeah, we're done. want to deal with this. This is a headache. You're too much drama than we want to deal with. Fuck off. And I think that's what you're dealing with there. And that's how I would approach it. Like, again, wide receivers aren't quite, you know, the running back dime a dozen that we hear about because you want to have elite wide receivers.
Starting point is 00:14:01 And teams that have them like to have them. I mean, you have to have an elite receiver to be a great team. And it's good to have a guy. But you can find them. And you don't have to deal with the bullshit. Like, you know one thing? You want to look at Justin Jefferson for the most part? You ain't getting a lot of bullshit with that guy. guy and that guy has to deal with some shit. You think that life is difficult when you're A.J. Brown and you have to catch passes from J. Lin-Hertz and there's some inconsistency with the offense. Imagine that you're catching passes from J.J. McCarthy and
Starting point is 00:14:27 whoever fucking J.J. McCarthy's backup was Brasmer. Max Brasmer. Imagine you have to catch passes from those dudes. A revolving door of dopes. Imagine you and look, I understand that there's been some drama a little bit with J. Mar Chase as well. But not as much as you get with A.J. Brown on a consistent basis.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Jamar Chase has to catch passes from six different quarterbacks every year because Borough can't stay healthy. And those guys still go out and do the job. A.J. Brown bitches nonstop. He's not worth your time. And are you that much better with him? Not really because he's not consistent. For every 100-yard game, you're going to have a 13-yard game. That's who he is.
Starting point is 00:15:08 So I think you've probably seen the last. Having no inside information at all, I feel like you've probably seen the last of him with the Eagles. There's just no reason. There's no reason to continue that. Anyway, more to come.
