Okay, sorry, I got one more thing that I forgot to do when I was bitching about the internet.
I wouldn't even say I was bitching about the internet, I was just talking about the internet
and letting you know that the internet is terrible. But you also know that I hate the
local news. I actually love the local news because it's so bad and so lazy and so terrible
and has completely just ruined the idea of news. But the St. Louis one that I pay attention to,
mostly Fox, I don't watch them
on television. I have no idea what their stuff looks like, so I couldn't tell you.
But I do see the stories that come across on Twitter. And the other day I was talking about
when Octavio Dottel died in the accident in the Dominican Republic, how the headlines just read,
former cardinal dies in the Dominican Republic. So of headlines just read, former cardinal dies in
the Dominican Republic. So of course, you have to click on it, because what if it's Albert Pujols?
Well, who could it could be someone huge, then they click on it, it's Octavio Dottel. And they're
like, okay, whatever, just Octavio Dottel. Of course, you couldn't just put that in the headline,
because then nobody would click it. So of course, But there was one from Fox 2 in St. Louis,
and the headline, well, this is just the tweet.
The tweet says,
Could the Cincinnati Bengals relocate to St. Louis?
So you've got to click on the story,
because people here are desperate for an NFL team.
They want the NFL back.
They've lost two.
They feel they deserve one.
Get us an NFL team.
And we don't care how we have to get it. Even though our first two NFL teams were stolen from other cities,
we'll steal another one. We don't care that we've had ours stolen from us twice. We don't give a
shit. We're here to pillage. We'll take Cincinnati's team. So again, the headline. Now you thought
maybe that's just the tweet. So sometimes the tweet could be dumb, but then you click it and the story is actually, you know, makes more sense, right? Now, mind you, this is the Fox affiliate in St. Louis.
So in theory, this is legitimate news, right? This is like the shit. This is like, hey,
this is, you know, a news outlet that is reputable. This is not like St. Louis football fan blog.
This is not like, you know, fuck cronky 69 on Twitter or something.
This is the legitimate news.
This is where you go to because you're tired of all the lies and the bullshit.
You don't want to see Fox News.
You don't want to see CNN.
You don't want to read the blogs. You just want the truth. And we can get that from good old-fashioned,
impartial, unbiased local television news. So the headline reads, could the Cincinnati Bengals
relocate to St. Louis? So they must have sources, right? There must be some sort of like, this must
have at least some possibility of happening because our local news would not just feed us a story about how our football team that we lost and we're sad about it.
We can get another one though.
We can get another team and it will be amazing when we get this other team and it will be super exciting and life will be great.
They wouldn't just feed us bullshit, would they?
So something must be going on.
I just love the dateline, St. Louis.
With the Cincinnati Bengals' lease at Paycor Stadium
set to expire in 2026,
the team's future in Cincinnati faces uncertainty
as ongoing negotiations with Hamilton County have stalled.
Amid questions surrounding the team's future in Cincinnati,
there is increasing speculation
okay now hold on the story is already what now just hold tight i will tell you the next line
here in a second the story is about to die in the second paragraph first paragraph factually
accurate with the cincinnati bangles leaves at paycor stadium set to expire in 2026 the team's
future in cincinnati faces uncertainty as ongoing negotiations with Hamilton County have stalled.
Now, fine.
More than likely they're going to stay in Cincinnati.
They'll do some haggling, try to get a new stadium, get public money, whatever.
Now, mind you, you start with this.
Amid questions surrounding the team's future in Cincinnati, there is increasing speculation.
Now, when you hear increasing speculation,
you're waiting for this and you're waiting to hear speculation
among reputable NFL sources that Cincinnati is looking to relocate
and that St. Louis is at the top of the list
and that St. Louis lawmakers and St. Louis is at the top of the list, and that St. Louis lawmakers and St. Louis politicians
have already put together a package
in which they will build a brand new riverfront stadium
in downtown St. Louis to bring the Cincinnati Bengals
and make them the St. Louis Bengals.
Welcome to town, Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase.
You're now St. Louisans.
That's what you're expecting to hear
when you hear there is increasing speculation among dot, dot, dot.
You're expecting to hear among league circles, among reputable people, among the Cincinnati ownership, whatever.
Nope. Here's what you get from the reputable Fox 2 in St. Louis. Amid questions surrounding the team's future in Cincinnati,
there is increasing speculation among fans
that the team could consider relocating to St. Louis.
That's right, not among owners,
not among people in Cincinnati
that are associated with the franchise,
not among politicians in Cincinnati or St. Louis,
not among reputable media people
who have sources in Cincinnati or St. Louis, not among reputable media people who have sources in Cincinnati or St. Louis.
No, friends!
The speculation about maybe St. Louis getting the Cincinnati Bengals
is speculation among fans.
According to CBS Sports, the Cincinnati...
No, CBS Sports is reputable, so let's see.
According to CBS Sports, the Cincinnati Bengals lease at Paycor Stadium
is set to expire on June 20 June 30th 2026 as the date approaches the team faces another important
deadline as they must decide whether to pick up one of five two-year extension options by June 30th
to extend the lease for a short period if the option is an exercise this year the bangles will be free to explore different cities to relocate after the 2025 season again that story from cbs sports at least what they've
quoted there has said zero about whether or not the cincinnati bangles would come to fucking
st louis or that they'd even leave the bangles have played at paycor stadium along the banks
of the ohio River since 2000.
The team has become popular across the league recently, in part because of the arrival of
former LSU players and teammates, quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Jamar Chase. Well,
and you know, they went to the fucking Super Bowl. That was part of it. During the annual NFL
meetings. Okay, we got NFL meetings. So maybe in the NFL meetings, maybe there's some dirt being
thrown around about maybe Cincinnati losing the football team and maybe the Bengals coming to St. Louis.
During the annual NFL meetings in early April, Bengals Executive Vice President Katie Blackburn hinted at the possibility that the team might be willing to consider a potential move to a different city if a long-term deal isn't agreed upon by both sides. Quote, we could, I guess, go wherever we wanted after this year if we didn't pick up the option,
Blackburn said.
So, you know, we'll see.
Like I said, all these things will be done in due course.
We are having discussions, and so we're hopeful that the county is thinking about it a lot
too and wants it to get addressed in a way that would be beneficial to both of us
i think they're playing politics here they're trying to put a little fear in cincinnati that
they might lose the football team that's it again nowhere did the fucking uh owner or the vice
president of the bangles katie blackburn say and if we do opt out look out St. Louis Joe Burroughs coming to town or didn't even say
he could come to town also it's important for everyone uh listening to this to know
that the city of St. Louis sued the NFL and got like a 900 million dollar settlement so I'm going
to guess that the NFL has zero interest in coming back to St. Louis anytime soon although it's
unknown whether the Bengals are considering St. Louis as a possible relocation destination,
there's your story.
There is nobody reputable that at any point said, hey, if the Bengals leave, they'll go to St. Louis.
That's all you needed.
Many are speculating about the factors in St. Louis that might entice the Bengals to relocate.
In fact, according to NBC Sports, this is even better.
So when you hear in fact, and then you hear NBC Sports, you're thinking,
now NBC Sports has put together a very good list of reasons why St. Louis would be a great spot.
In fact, according to NBC Sports, Bengals owner Mike Brown has spoken out against the move
and was rumored as one of two owners to vote against the Rams move out of St. Louis to Los Angeles.
Great.
So 10 years ago, the owner of the Bengals said,
I don't think that the team should leave St. Louis.
Therefore, that means he wants to take his football team
and move it to St. Louis.
Right.
There's nothing wrong with the markets where these teams play now,
Brown said during a meeting in 2015.
10 years ago, the owner of the Browns said, I don't think the Rams should leave.
And because of that, and because of Internet speculation.
Hey, we get a headline that says, could the Bengals move to St. Louis?
St. Louis has now gone nearly a decade without an NFL team in the city as the St. Louis Rams move.
We know this.
Let's see.
It is unknown if the city of St. Louis would be interested in a reunion with the NFL after the Rams departure to Los Angeles.
When asked about the potential for another professional sports team in the city of St. Louis during a media briefing on April 10th,
Mayor Kara Spencer said the idea is a worthwhile consideration.
Well, yeah, no shit. You want to tell me you wouldn't want the NFL in town, please? on April 10th, Mayor Kara Spencer said the idea is a worthwhile consideration.
Well, yeah, no shit.
You want to tell me you wouldn't want the NFL in town?
Please.
Fox 2 reached out to the St. Louis mayor's office for a comment on the idea of another NFL team, but it's not heard back.
You know why you haven't heard back?
Because it's not a fucking possibility right now because there's no story.
You've got one team that might leave a city maybe possibly and you've turned it into is
st louis a candidate fan speculation says so fuck cronky in the ass 72 on twitter said i think we're
a good city for the nfl well there we go guys we got it we've've solved it. Bill Bidwell is a fuckboy12 on Instagram said,
bring the NFL to town. I think we should get the Bengals.
Best Baseball City in America 85 says, I've heard from my sources that the Bengals have already purchased land in St. Charles.
We got data now.
Fan speculation has confirmed it.
Fan speculation is what we're building an entire story on the fucking local news on.
Don't trust the news people.
They have hired hacks. There is no news.
It is dead. It is clickbait. It's garbage. It's not good for you. Eat your vegetables, not this shit.
