Hello, W-L-L-Z.
W-L-L-Z, it's me, Lynn Jones.
Hi.
I'm Detroit.
Morning, Lynn.
We are live on the air with Lynn Jones.
The one and only.
Wait a minute.
You know I'm from Detroit.
Talk to me.
Come now.
Well, you're a very big celebrity right now.
Did you have any idea that you'd become this big story when you were talking with
Liam Cohen the other day?
No, young man, I've been doing this for so long around the country.
I hadn't even thought about it.
And to tell you the truth, the season is over.
To see everybody's on me well and on my professionalism, the season is over.
We don't need to discuss what happened in the second and third quarter.
We know we need to improve on it.
Bottom line, keep your head up.
Let's move forward.
This man came to Jacksonville a year ago.
You know, we have our moniker, do,
We don't even know how to say Duval, but I'll tell you what, it was in his heart.
It's definitely in his heart.
And we appreciate that as a city, as a team, as a town.
We got big hearts down here, man.
We have demanded to clients RBC, what it's to accumulate three-foyle,
when they scan their cartric, recompense, triangles, and pay with their card RBC-li-li-est,
it's super, super, super!
I can't be myratern't.
I can't be magazine, magazine, magazine.
Each day, I cumule, I cummine.
Commence to accumulate three-foyl
on your asch-a-admissible

detail.
Look, and that's the thing.
I'm hearing all these
dumb media people
talking about this
and, oh, be professional.
It was 20 seconds out of their day.
What's it going to hurt?
But listen, you know
everything has to be picked apart
and I'm fine.
I don't know these people,
but I'll tell you what,
am learning this viral sensation.
They say I look like Don King, man.
Well, Lynn, do you think you look like Don King?
Just going with it.
Just going to go with it.
Where did you grow up in Detroit?
River up Livernoise and Liveranoi, Artis, Livanoi, Livanoise and Warren, attended Chatsy High School.
Man, we used to walk the Tider Stadium.
Oh, Detroit is my town, man.
I wouldn't be who I am without Detroit.
The Motor City, like they say, everybody from Detroit, man.
Oh, absolutely.
And when did you leave?
94, doing some things, production, this and that.
My family, my mother and my brothers are still there.
She's over in Roseville Park.
So it's like I'm Detroit raised in Jacksonville made.
There you go.
I like that.
That's awesome.
And what I enjoy, and I enjoy your positivity, and I enjoy how upbeat you are and how, that's
what we need more of.
Like, I'm a negative person.
I think we all fall into that trap.
But when I heard your message, I was like, that's a great message.
What's wrong with that?
And where do you get all this positivity?
The world's so negative.
It is.
It really, really is.
And what we go through every day, we all need to keep our head of them.
men, we all need to keep our head up.
And right now, when it comes to leadership in this country, in your business, in your home,
we have to stay focused and positive.
And, see, football, they're trying to take it away to be this happy sport at the same time.
It's a brutal sport, don't get me wrong, but to be happy in the sport and give compliments.
See, and one more thing, and I hate to say this is the fact that, and I know Buffalo won,
Buffalo won't it just as bad, just like Detroit.
Come on, y'all know our history.
But the recognition that this coach is getting due to his emotions, that's what's happening here.
And the publicity surrounding it.
Yeah, and look, you've gotten a ton of publicity as well.
Lynn Jones is with us.
She's now viral famous for her question, or really her, not even a question, just a positive affirmation for Liam Cole,
and the coach of the Jaguars.
What are some of the more bizarre things you've heard from people?
Obviously, that you look like Don King,
but what are some of the other things you've gotten?
And have you heard from any other, like, big-time media people
or celebrities that have reached out to you after this?
Man, 8 p.m. Tonight Prime Video.
I got a little segment on Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson.
Whoa.
Shand Dave, Massachusetts.
But wait a minute.
Oh, no.
Forget everybody.
Forget that.
guess what?
Guess what?
What I'm in?
The Detroit.
Yeah, actually,
our boss forwarded a link to that story of the Detroit News last night.
And I was like, hey, I made contact.
She's joining us on the show this morning, baby.
Hey, how was Kevin Hart?
About this whole thing.
It's been really cool.
And Kevin,
Kevin and Kenan,
they just is funny.
So I'm laughing.
They're laughing.
And the camaraderie that they have,
and he's a regular guy.
I can't say it.
We all get stuck struck.
You know what I mean.
But listen, I've been around so many stars, and I don't even pay it any attention.
So it was a great experience.
What else was when I say?
Detroit News, Washington Post.
Oh, I was on CBS 47 sports show last night.
All here locally.
Oh, man, New York.
It's been, like I say, it's definitely been a whirlwind tour.
And then second, number two, Detroit News.
Oh, no, number one, I'm on your show.
No, two, Detroit News.
Number three, you know, on Instagram, they got people from Detroit.
It's an Instagram account.
And they always profiling because they always say everybody from Detroit.
And I'm on there.
They put me on there last night.
Oh, that's awesome.
And Lynn Jones is with us.
You're absolutely wonderful.
Talking with you is great.
Your energy is infectious.
It's great.
That's why, like, I almost got offended.
On behalf of you when I'm seeing these people talking all this trash about it,
Like, this is positivity.
This woman is fun and uplifting.
Like, I bet I'm not going to lie.
I bet Liam Cohen felt good about himself after he talked to you after that.
I bet it made his day a little bit better.
You know, it did.
And he's a young man.
When I say everybody's a young man, you as young as you feel.
This man, like I say, he had to weight on his shoulders.
He had the team and everyone.
And see, I've been affiliated with the Jaguars a long time.
When I moved to Jacksonville, my first.
A job was with the Jacksonville, Jaguars.
I was under the toolage of Coach Tom Coughlin.
I know everyone knows the one and only Tom Cawley.
I was in the scouting department.
And so my affiliation, and Devine Destiny led me to Jacksonville, too.
So so much has happened.
I TV shows 10 years, Lynn and Friends.com, traveled the world with that.
Cataloged over 100 shows.
We lived out to Cali for a minute.
came back to Florida.
And like I said, Jacksonville, talking about good to me.
They know me.
They love me.
And I made my way around here.
Family, people will become my mothers and aunts and family.
So I'm thankful, but I will never forget the motor city.
Oh, absolutely.
And they're never going to forget you at this point.
So going back to Tom Coughlin, though, so did you actually work for Tom Coughlin?
Well, I was in the scouting department.
He was my boss.
He'd come over to me sometime.
And he put his hands on me like, Lynn, listen, you got to get in a little early now.
Lynn, what did you do?
So when you say you were in the scouting department, what did you do in the scouting department?
From the trailers to the stadium when they were building our current stadium.
And scouting, well, we had a database.
And scouting, you put your database.
So say one of the scouts asked and they say, well, I want like Andre Rise.
And that's back then.
All of them were coming through to see who we would.
get on the team.
And we have a database.
I can say they want a wide receiver from such and such.
So I can go in my database and I can pull up every wide receiver in the NFL.
Oh, so you have more credibility than 90% of these idiots on the internet that are talking about you.
You worked in the NFL.
You're not just some random boob that's there saying dumb things or anything.
You worked for Tom Freak and Coughlin.
I mean, he has a big, the J-PON is very big here.
So yes, yes, yes, yes.
But those are things that I don't go around bragging about.
I don't have to.
I know what I said on the news today, people know me.
I've been with the black press for over 30 years.
You know, the black press is the area where the more than 230 African-American newspapers come together.
And we're one of those along with the Michigan Chronicle.
Michigan Chronicle has been printing since 1935.
In Philly, the Tribune has been printing since 1884.
Our paper has been around since 1980.
86. So there's
230 African American
newspapers through the NNPA
that's the national newspaper
Publishers Association
affiliation where we
print around the world, sir.
You're amazing. Len Jones.
Before we let you go, listen,
we're here on WLLZ in Detroit.
We're a relatively new show. We're getting
our ass kicked. We're like in 20th place.
And what I need is something
like positive from you because sometimes
I get down. I'm like, we're getting crushed.
like Liam Cohen, he was down two days ago.
Is there any kind of positive message you can give us to get, like, hey, keep going,
because I was motivated listening to you speak.
Let me tell you something.
We definitely want you to keep your head up.
Keep your head up, number one.
Keep your head up.
Stay in the game.
And it's all about you.
The bottom line is, it's all about you, young man.
I hear you now.
I've been talking to all the young man because you are the new leaders.
I don't care.
We're not going.
We're crossing all.
boundaries, nationalities.
This is a united front
right here.
So as we continue on this positive
and motivational moment,
be grateful. And you know what?
Yeah.
Oh, Lynn, you're amazing. Oh, we love
you so much. We'd love to talk with you again at some
point.
Going straight to the top,
man. Lynn, you have a good day.
Thank you so much.
You too. Y'all take care. Much
continued success to you now. You too.
Thanks, Lynn. I love her.
That was awesome. I love her. She's wonderful.
When I talked to her on the phone yesterday, I'm like, this is going to be good.
You can tell, like, when you talk to somebody, like, okay, this person is going to be a great person to talk to.
Yes.
It's not going to be a hard interview. She's going to be awesome.
She's amazing. Wonderful. All right, we're very late.
Lynn Jones, everybody. Fantastic. Lovely. I love her. It's the Josh Endish.
