All right, let's see.
So now that we have finished up the week of the NFL, actually, let me see where my bets stand.
So I got a win last night with the Steelers.
So the Steelers have now hit their win total for me.
So to hit a parlay of win totals for the season, I did a parlay of different teams win totals.
I believe I need two more wins from Tampa and one more from the Lions.
Let's see if they've given me a cash out option on this.
Let's see.
Can I cash out by chance?
Let's see.
No.
So I've got the Steelers at eight wins.
So I've got the overwin total for the Chargers, over for Jacksonville, over for the Texans.
So I thought we're going to be dead in the water.
And now they've come back to win eight games for me.
So I need the Lions to get to nine wins.
They have eight.
And I need Tampa to get to nine.
They have seven.
And the last two weeks, Tampa's lost two games.
They had no business fucking losing.
So they need to win two out of their last three.
and I need to find one win, just one damn win for the lions.
Let's see here.
You know what else is a real letdown?
Well, this bet, I guess, was never going to hit.
But I did a bet that had Joe Burroughs passing yards at 4,000, so his injury killed that.
But let's see how – let's play a few commercials, and I'll get into this,
and then we'll look at the current Super Bowl odds.
But we will do that after these words.
All right, let's see here.
So I needed Baker Mayfield to throw for $4,000.
I imagine he's not close to $4,000 either, so this probably doesn't have a chance.
Actually, Baker would need 100 more yards in the last three games,
so he'd have to average over 300 yards a game, so the odds aren't very good.
So that more than likely wouldn't hit.
Golf is going to get to $4,000.
Is Ladd-Maconke going to get to 1,000 receiving yards?
Let's see.
I took him to have $1,000.
He's currently at $7.15, so he would need to find like $200.
180-something yards in the last three games.
Not impossible, but I'd say that that's unlikely because my man hasn't balled out in a while.
13, 39, 12, and 20.
Five games ago, I would have thought 1,000 for Ladd McConkey was a layup, but he barely has 100.
I don't think he has 100 yards receiving over the last four games combined, so that obviously
wouldn't hit.
Smith and Gigby easily got to 1,000, and Marvin Harrison Jr. won't because he's been hurt,
so that play was a dud, but that was like a $30 one.
I also took the Lions to kick a field goal in every game, which they didn't do.
I would have won 1,300 bucks on a $30 bet.
So the one that has the most realistic chance of hitting is $38 to win $550.
And that was my same game parlay of win totals before the season.
And if Jared Goff gets to 4,000 passing yards, which I would imagine now, he's probably at like $3,500.
So if he stays healthy, I feel like it's a no-brainer that he's going to get there.
He's currently at 3672.
So he needs like
328 more yards
over the next three weeks. So golf's going to get
to 4,000. And then I need the
Lions to make the playoffs. If you guys are looking
for something to root for and be part of my
world, we need two more
in the last three weeks. We need two
victories from Tampa, one
from the Lions, that would hit. And then we need
the Lions to make the playoffs and Jared
Gough to throw for like 300 more yards
and we would have a hit. So
hopefully they win this week and keep that
alive. I mean, their only way to really get in is to
win all three of their games. So we'll see. All right. Now that you know what's going on in my world
and what to root for because we're best friends and we care about each other, let's look at the current
Super Bowl odds. The current favorite is the Rams. If you gave me Rams or the field, I would take
the Rams still. The Seahawks are number two. Well, here's what's going to happen to the Seahawks,
though. The Seahawks have Sam Darnold. So the Rams are plus 310 to win the Super Bowl, and the
Seahawks are plus 6.50. The Seahawks are going to lose on Thursday at home to the Rams. Why are they going to lose? Because the Rams are better. Why are they going to lose? Because the Seahawks have Sam Darnold, and Sam Darnold's going to go back to turning the ball over. They weren't very, they weren't spectacular for a lot of that game against a mediocre Colts team. Let us not forget that the Seahawks did not score a touchdown against the Colts. So I feel pretty confident that if it
comes down to having to win a game against the Rams who can, by the way, defend and can,
oh, by the way, score 40 a game, they will not win that game on Thursday. So the Rams are
going to win. The Seahawks are pretty much locked into a wild card spot. I think they still
have to win one more game to officially get a playoff spot. The fact that the Seahawks are
number two in the Super Bowl odds is a joke. And the Broncos are plus 800, would not touch the
Broncos. Here's what's going to happen to the Broncos. Sean Payton is going to Sean Payton and they're
going to get into the playoffs and they're going to lose a playoff game that they're
not supposed to lose because that's what Sean
Peyton does. Sean
Peyton, outside of winning the Super Bowl
against the Colts and getting butt-fucked
by the refs against the Rams in
2019, Sean
Peyton will find ways to lose
games. He will beast-quake it.
They will get beating by
Alex Smith. They will lose the game they
lost at home in the playoffs to
Kirk. They will find a way to lose like they
did against on the
Minnesota Miracle. They will lose
games they should not lose, and I would not be shocked if Denver lost their first
playoff game, which has a very good chance of being a home playoff game after a buy.
I'm looking at the outside chances here. Like the Lions currently are plus 3,000. They ain't
going to win because they're not going to make the playoffs. Look, I'm not trying to be
homer dude here because it seems ridiculous to say this. But if you're looking for the best
value to win the Super Bowl, I could make a case that your best value is either Buffalo
with Josh Allen even though I think they suck
okay but I mean
if you get to the postseason though and I get
Josh Allen or Bo Nix or I get
Josh Allen or
Drake May or I get Josh Allen or the Jaguars
or I get Josh Allen or the shitty Ravens
or the charges like it would be hard
to not take Josh Allen in those situations
only because in the playoffs you think
quarterback play is going to matter one of them has been
there and one of them hasn't
Bo Nix hasn't been in that spot of being the hunted
in the playoffs neither is
Drake May. So, like, plus 800 for the bills isn't bad value, actually. But look, I'd
circle the Texans. They've been to the playoffs multiple years in a row with C.J. Stroud.
They're probably not going to play a home playoff game because they're not going to win
the division, but it's not impossible. Like, let's say the Texans get a home playoff game.
They could win it. Now, again, coming out of the seventh seed, you have to go on the road the
entire postseason to get there. Like, I wouldn't pick the Texans to win the Super Bowl because
I don't believe in their offense. I just don't think.
think the offense is that good? Look, when it's good, it's good. The problem is they don't
score enough touchdowns. And we've talked about that. That is well documented. This is nothing new.
It's been 13 weeks or however long it's been in the season, 14 weeks. They don't
score touchdowns. If they scored more touchdowns, like, look, they're giving short
fields. The defense is disgusting. The defense will keep them in any game. And if you
said, Josh, you can take, let's leave the bills out. Because I'm going to, for whatever
reason, I'm still a sucker for Josh Allen in this situation because he's been there. And
like, it's got to be his year. If it's not Josh
challenge year to get to the Super Bowl, then it's never going to be Josh
Allen here to be in the Super Bowl. No Lamar, although he
loses in the playoffs, but no Pat Mahomes. Like this would be the time. No
Burrow. Like this would be your moment, bro. So like how will he not get
there? But let's say he doesn't. And you just look at the other
matchups that are possibly going to be in the postseason. Jacksonville
against the Texans. You want me to believe that the Texans can't be Jacksonville
in the playoffs? You want me to believe that the Texans with their defense can't
beat the Patriots in the playoffs? Like for everyone, well, what about
about, you know, Mike Vrable and what he's doing there.
Great. Look at what Domingo's doing with the Texans.
So, so if you think that Vrable can fuck with, uh, uh, fuck with C.J., sure.
You want me to believe that, that our dude, that Domingo can't fuck with Drake May?
Come on.
So, like, this is a wild year and a weird year.
It doesn't happen very often where there are just very few superstar quarterbacks in the
postseason, like legendary dudes that are like, you know, dudes that you've known forever
and are like, are stalwarts.
They're just not there other than Josh Allen.
But like if you said take the Rams or the field to win the Super Bowl,
I would 100% take the Rams because I truly believe they are just that much better than everybody.
Great quarterback play, amazing receiver play.
Defense is very good.
Running game is a two-headed monster.
Like I would take the Rams.
If you said Rams or the field, that would mean you would take the Rams or how many other teams would that be?
Like 13 other teams.
You'd have 13 other possibilities to win the Super Bowl.
I would take the Rams.
but everybody else like the Seahawks are going to fall off they're they're not winning this
week the fuck no I wouldn't take the Seahawks the Broncos I'm not taking Sean Payton in the postseason
and Bo Knicks in the postseason the Eagles they're the other team that's been there done that
I'm not one of these dipshit WIP people who now all of a sudden thinks they're going to win the
Super Bowl a week after questioning whether or not you should bench the quarterback because
you beat the fucking Raiders that's never that's not me that the Eagles are not winning the
Super Bowl you aren't a bad football team for 14 weeks immediately
ocher up and down, back and forth football team, and then magically figured out in the postseason,
particularly when there are teams like the Rams. And yes, I'm aware you've beaten the Rams.
I don't give a shit that you've beaten the Rams. That was a miraculous come from behind victory.
Like, the Rams are a better fucking football team than the Eagles. Eagles, very good defensively.
But if I get Matt Stafford versus the Eagles, I think I'm going to take Matt Stafford in that one.
So if I look at this and think of teams that I think can legitimately just win it, the teams that are in there right now and go,
these teams can win it. The Rams can win it. I don't buy the Packers either. But like it's so
bizarre because I don't believe the Seahawks can win it. I don't see a path for the Seahawks because
you have to show me that Sam Darnold's not going to melt down like he did last year.
Show me that. He has to prove that. So I don't buy it. I don't believe the Broncos can win the
Super Bowl. So I would take the bills just because of Josh Allen. That is a strictly Josh
Allen. Like it is one of those, why the fuck not? If now win. So if not
win. So Bill's Rams
Bill's Rams
maybe the Eagles
just because, and that's based on past
performance, but I don't believe it.
The Texans defense
is fucking great, but they're going to have to go on the road
the entire time. Do I believe that they're going to go on the
road and win three playoff games? No.
Like, I really only believe
in the Bills and the Rams.
Like, I don't buy Seattle. I don't buy
Denver. Denver's pulled off some miracles. And
I don't believe in the Patriots.
I believe in the Patriots more than I believe in the Broncos.
I don't believe in the Chargers.
I don't believe in the Jaguars or the Ravens if they get there.
I don't believe in the Bears.
So really, I see Rams.
I see bills.
Kind of the Patriots.
Kind of sort of.
But the Patriots, I mean, if you're trying to sell me on Patriots getting to the playoffs
and beating the bills or making a run, sorry, you blew a 20-point lead at home to the bill.
So, no.
I don't buy that.
Packers just lost Micah, so I mean, that's a big piece.
I don't know, man.
Like, it is, if you told me that the Super Bowl match show would be the Texans and the Rams, I'd go, okay, I buy that.
But if you told me it'd be anybody else from the NFC, I'd have a hard time buying it.
If you're like, hey, here's the Seahawks versus the Bills, I wouldn't buy that at all.
But if you give me bills, Rams, I could take that.
Give me Texans Rams, I could take that.
Eagle, again, I'm giving the Eagles way too much credit because of past performance.
I don't believe in them, because I just don't buy the offense.
I'm not like, oh boy, we beat the Raiders, everybody.
Look out.
We're back.
I don't buy that shit either.
This is a weird year, man.
This is a very strange year.
And I know that you might say anybody could win, but I don't know that I believe that because I don't believe in a lot of them.
So, anyway, more to come.
