You see what I'm saying? these people that run these industries and run these businesses, and the people that are in them, the people that should be smarter, the people that know what they're talking about, right? They know because they're in the business, yet they're willfully ignorant and they put out bullshit, right? And that's what you get from these people like Dan Levittar and some of these other dipshits that are like, well, we tried to do something else.
Starting point is 00:00:52 And now they're clearly just trying to appeal to people who have no sleeves. I'm talking SEC football fans here. Ha, ha, ha. Well, what if their numbers go up from those people? Because last time I checked, you know who really likes fucking college football, probably like the biggest demographic? People that also like Pat McAfee and people who are down in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, people that like to chug some Keystone lights, maybe,
Starting point is 00:01:17 a couple of nattie datties, a couple of bush lattes, people who like to throw meat on a fucking grill, not people who want to sit around on social media all day and bitch about how there's too many white people nominated for Oscars. You know what I'm saying? Like I, I, I, we need to get to a point in time where at some point, we're like, just, you got to tell people to shut the fuck up and get the fuck over it. Build a bridge and get over it.
Starting point is 00:01:41 At some point, we've got to start doing that. At some point, we just have to tell people. And it's got to be people in power. It's got to be people like, I look, I'm sorry that your fucking feelings are hurt. Get the fuck over it. You're like, like, I'm sorry. Just shut the fuck up. But no one will say that.
Starting point is 00:01:58 You see it with this, this stuff with, we should. Jane Gillis. It's like, my God. Like, no one gives a flying fuck what most of these people have to say about this. Yet they're still on it. They're harping on it. Four days later, three days later. Same shit. They're offended by it. They're bothered by it. I can't believe this was a
Starting point is 00:02:16 just be honest. You don't like him because he's white and you think he's a Trumper. Say that at least. I'd have more respect for you instead of saying, oh, I don't even know what I just said there. It's just maddening how stupid these people are. Get BetMGM casino and check out the newest exclusive. Starting point is 00:03:00 Like at some point, like it's okay. to have a demographic you're going after, right? I'm going back to the ESPN thing now because Dan Lebitard's on my mind on that one. Because it goes to the Pat Mac if he think about how they're clearly just trying to go for hillbillies. Okay, well, here would be my next point. Why is it okay for you to not watch? Because you think they're going for hillbilly types, right? You're going for like the redneckies, right?
Starting point is 00:03:27 So you're like, I ain't going to watch that. But if a bunch of white dudes were like, you know what, I'm not going to watch ESP? in now because they're clearly going for something that I don't believe in, then those people are the clan, basically, and they're the worst people on the planet. Like, that's the shit that is annoying. And it's okay. Like, there are certain demographics that certain programming is built for. You know, if you're doing a sports betting show, you're doing a show for people who sports gamble. It probably won't be for someone who's never sports gambled. If you're doing the breakfast club with Charlemagne the God, you know who their audience isn't? They're not doing a show for Ted
Starting point is 00:04:02 fucking Cruz. And they're not doing a show for Ted fucking Cruz. And they're not doing a show. for white people and conservative people. They're doing a show because they are super serving one particular audience, and that's the black audience. And there's not a crime in doing that. I mean, like, do you know how dumb it would? Actually, I think it'd be great. It'd be highly entertaining, by the way,
Starting point is 00:04:20 if somebody like me were on a black morning show. You know, like the wacky white guy that likes, you know, new addition and shit, but also is like, you know, I don't think Shane Gillis is all that bad. And then, like, they all shit on me. That'd be fun. It's kind of like when Hannity and Colmes was Hannity and Colms and not just Hannity. You know, it's kind of fun when there are people with differing
Starting point is 00:04:36 viewpoints and shit, but whatever. But we need to normalize telling people to shut the fuck up. That's all. It's kind of like the same concept. It's like this. You'd love to have women watching your sports programming. But no matter how far we move in the direction of women being into sports, it's still for men.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Like your number one clientele of a college football game on a Saturday on television is going to be men. I don't know what the percentage difference is, but I'm going to get to pretty wide. one like there's a wide gap. So then you hear people say, well, why are they focus on men? Because that's who's fucking watching it. That's their people. They're super serving their audience.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Like, there's no reason to take a football game and try to make it more feminine or make it more palatable for women. If women want to watch football, the way football is, they'll watch it. If not, they won't. You know, nobody looks at the fucking lifetime network and says, hey, I was kind of hoping that maybe one time you'd let the guy win. You ever notice when you watch a lifetime movie, it never ends with, hey, the guy actually set his wife on fire.
Starting point is 00:05:44 No, it ends with the wife set the house with the guy in it on fire because he was terrible. You ever notice the lifetime movie is never, hey, my wife's a fucking crazy bitch and I killed her. Starring Meredith Baxter. Meredith Baxter's ass never gets set on fire at the end of the Lifetime movie. You ever notice that at the end of the Hallmark Christmas movie, which are all geared towards women? You ever notice that the guy that she's in love with, you know, the guy that, you know, is a snowman and then becomes human? He never looks like fucking me. He's always some buff guy.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Hey, look, if you want to make it more realistic, let's have the snowman that comes to life. Let's make the snowman that fucking comes to life look like, like fucking Bobcat Goldwyn. I didn't mean to throw a stray at Bobcat. That was the first one I thought of. I don't know why Bobcat came to my. mind. But let's not make him look like some hunk. Let's not make them look like fucking McSteamy or fucking McDreamy. But you ever notice we never do that. That's never the case. There you go. Jilly brings it up. You never see. We do. We need a Shane Gillis
Starting point is 00:06:49 Hallmark movie. But you're never going to do that. The snowman that becomes the human that dates Lacey Chabair is never fucking Shane Gillis. It's always some, you know, dreamboat fucking guy. It never happens, right? And why? Because the audience for that is women. You know what? Women want to look at? A good looking fucking dude. They don't want to look at some fucking... Look, Shane Gillis, he's aware that he's an unattractive guy. That's half the jokes he tells that he's unattractive. He told like three unattractive jokes in that fucking set. Very good point from Jilly there. Shane Gillis. There's never the Hallmark movie where the evil guy who comes back to the town that. that he moved away from. Or like the ladies, like the big executive in New York. And then she finds out that like her mom's yarn store is going out of business. So she has to come back to town for it to save the day. And then there's the guy who's trying to buy up the yarn store and turn it into a fucking condo or something.
Starting point is 00:07:52 And she's like, nope, not going to happen. And I'm going to fight you over it. And you know, the guy that she ends up banging and falling in love with at the end of it never looks like Shane Gillis. Nope. That person always looks like goddamn McDream. me looks like Patrick fucking Dempsey. Never looks like Shane Gillis.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Never looks like any comedian for that matter. And it's okay to do things that appeal to a certain demographic. Hey, who do you think before he cheats us for by Carrie Underwood? Do you think that that song
Starting point is 00:08:24 when she wrote is like, Yo's gonna love this, guys, it's a whole fucking song about how, hey, this guy cheated on me, so I destroyed his fucking property. Do you think she's like,
Starting point is 00:08:33 boy, I sure hope that appeals to the men? No, she's doing What do you think fucking Lilith Fair is for? Lilith Fair is for lesbians and that's okay. It is okay to try to appeal to different groups of people. So when people are bitching about ESPN now they've shifted gears and they're clearly going for some bro shit, trust me, I hate Kelsey. I hate Pat McAfee.
Starting point is 00:08:55 But if they think that's going to get them numbers and ratings and revenue, that's all that fucking matters. Yet, oh, if you say that, if you're like, hey, we're trying to, you know, appeal to, you know, white. dudes down in the south, they may take your fucking license. They might say no ESP and you're not allowed to broadcast anymore. Again, it's all about, and I understand that people who aren't in it or are just clueless or dunces are stupid or willfully ignorant in the case of like Lebitard and his jabrones. I know that they choose to ignore it and don't know it, but the point of running a business, fun fact, the point of running a business is to make fucking money. Whoa, it's the turn of profit. That's how you keep the goddamn lights on.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Sports are not a charity. MLB's not a charity. These teams are not charities. Ross is getting fired up now. He's barking at somebody outside. He's right, Ross, what do you see out there, buddy? What do you see? Who is it? Who is it? Some asshole? Who are you barking at? Ross, it's a lady walking down the goddamn street. Ross is over here like, yeah, but she's wearing short shorts, Dad. She's wearing the asshole shorts. What's going on here? But the point of a business, Ross, if you're going to bark, just bark.
Starting point is 00:10:17 There's no need to just sit there and prowl. Just bark. We're all a pair of nuts and bark, Ross. Actually, that was kind of a fit. Now, that would be offensive. I can see where he'd take offense to that because, you know, the people had his balls lopped off. I didn't.
Starting point is 00:10:31 It wasn't my choice. The people that had found him did. Sorry. So I can see that would be sensitive. That would be one where I see where people on social media would take issue. Like, oh my God, he told the guy with no balls to grow a pair of balls. Well, I can't, Dad, they lopped them off. But the point of a business is to make money.
Starting point is 00:10:51 That is why you do it. Right? ESPN is not a charity. Like, you'll hear people all the time about why don't you include this, this and this? I don't know because it doesn't make me money, but it certainly costs me money. People are just fucking moron. And at some point, we just need to start saying shut the fuck up. And maybe that breaking point will come, you know. And look, if there were no social media, it'd be a lot easier to tell people to shut the fuck up.
Starting point is 00:11:17 But because people think they're stars on social media and they can get on there and bitch and get a bunch of likes from a bunch of fucking people that have no lives, then maybe, you know, you get more of what you're getting here. But I don't know, man. Just that crossed my mind today. Just taking these videos keep popping up. Then I saw some story where, oh, look out here. year. So Uncle Travi liked the Shane Gillis stand-up set that was the monologue. He liked it, I guess, maybe the video on YouTube or something, or they saw a video of it on Instagram and liked it.
Starting point is 00:11:48 So now, what a fucking conundrum for the swifties. Because on one hand, it's Uncle Travi. He's like everybody's uncle and he's, he's mother's husband and all this shit. And on the other hand, he's a guy that likes a fucking misogynist and a racist and a homophobic and every other isist, there is like Shane Gillis, what do we do? What does Taylor do? What happens now? Everything's broken. The world has been knocked off its axis.
Starting point is 00:12:18 So it's tough. It's tough for a lot of people when decisions have to be made. Like, I mean, does Uncle Travee have to issue an apology for liking that? You know? These are the questions. But anyway, I don't know. That was all on my mind today as I sit here and I'm battling, being horse and all sorts of other shit.
Starting point is 00:12:36 But anyway, I will give you some more content in a little bit.
