MAGA is falling apart. And as MAGA is falling apart, protests are rising up across the country
and the world to tell Donald Trump that his time is limited. His power is waning. And we're seeing
that not only through the power rising up through the people, but through his own party.
When people are literally quitting on Trump, I've got two instances for you of Republicans ditching
Trump. I have Elon Musk critiquing the Republican Party, and I also have a new Democrat that I
can't wait to tell you about. Look at this. This is just a bit of the No King's protests happening right now.
This is terrifying to Donald Trump and to the Republicans. I was thinking this. Like,
you let me know in the comments. Has there ever been a demonstration from Republicans as large as this?
Now, I know that this is literally the largest single day protest in American history.
Let me just say that again.
Feels good.
Largest single-day protest in American history.
Now, I don't, I'm not saying the Republicans have to create the largest single-day protest
in American history.
Have they ever done anything close to this?
I know they did January 6th, their big temper tantrum, but have they ever done any sort of mass
demonstration like this ever throughout history?
I can't think of a time.
You let me know in the comments if they did.
The Republican Party is falling apart.
The members are leaving, and you cannot.
actually see that in action here. CPAC is happening, which is the Republican conference for conservatives.
They come together to, I don't know, just complain. It's a big complaining party.
But they're really just complaining to open air, because look at this. Look at all these empty chairs
C-PAC. Now, this post has been going viral. This isn't the main stage, but it is pretty telling
that they can't fill up every seat at the largest conservative conference in the year.
That's interesting to me. Now, what is also just another sign of what is to come is a senior
House Republican has decided to quit on Donald Trump, said here, Representative Sam Graves,
the chairman of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, said he would leave Congress
after nearly three decades. Here's a little bit more of that. The 13-term Missouri Republican
who leads the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee said on Friday that he would retire in January
the latest powerful member of his party to leave Congress ahead of.
midterm elections. In a quote, he said, it's time to pass the torch and allow a new guard of
conservative leaders to step forward and chart a path forward for Missourians. This wasn't an easy
decision, but it's the right one I believe in making room for the next generation. His perch at the
helm of the Transportation Panel has put Mr. Graves 62 at the center of some of the nation's
most high-profile debates on the topic. He led congressional oversight of two fatal crashes
of Boeing 737-Max aircraft in 2019 and 2020.
until 346 people and track route reductions in a recent post to improve air safety.
His exit was unlikely to affect the balance of power in the House, given this strongly
Republican bent of his district in northwest Missouri.
But it is the latest sign in a wave of GOP retirements over the past several months
as Republicans anticipate defeats in November that could cost them control of Congress.
Not could, will.
And it marked another significant loss of institutional knowledge underway in both parties.
Okay, what? All right, we don't need institutional. We need new ideas. Institutional knowledge, I don't care if we're on the Republican side or the Democratic side. I don't know what that is. Institutional knowledge has gotten us to where we are today. How's things for you today? I would say not great. So institutional knowledge, I don't think there's a lot of knowledge being kept by the people who are in power at the moment. And I say good riddens to all of, especially the Republicans. We need new blood.
in this country. And as I said, I have a Democrat that I'm excited to show you. But there's also
another person who's left the Republican Party. Do you remember James Woods? I got to be honest,
I don't really know who James Woods is. I only know him because of the fact that he's a
mega freak and he's truly detestable of things that he's said on the internet. And I know him
because I think there was like a James Woods, either it was him or it was a spoof, but in Family Guy.
I really know him from Family Guy. I don't really know his work.
Ooh, a piece of candy.
Oh, a piece of candy.
Oh, a piece of candy.
Oh, a piece of candy.
Regardless, he's probably most high profile actor slash MAGA person that exists or that existed
because James Woods is also leaving the Republican Party.
Just days after calling Donald Trump the greatest president of his lifetime actor and outspoken MAGA supporter,
James Wood says he's leaving the Republican Party and registering as an independent.
The ghost of Mississippi actors.
announced the decision Thursday in a ex post, criticizing congressional Republicans for blocking
an effort to investigate Democratic rep Ilan Omar, said in a temper tantrum, quote, I am done with the
Republican Party. Between this and Thune's refusal to pass the Save Act, I'm done with these
unit party traders. I'm changing my party affiliation to independent. No wonder President Trump
is fighting an uphill battle every day. The disagreement reflects a bigger divide in the Republican
party over just how far they should go investigating their political opponents. Some lawmakers
worry that launching investigations without strong evidence could backfire or distract from other
priorities in Congress, but others, especially in the party's more conservative wing, argue
GOP leaders are being too cautious and should take a tougher stance against Democrats. Well,
that Uniparty thing, that's like a thing that I'm hearing on both sides. And I actually don't
disagree with it. I think it's a part, there is a problem that it seems like whether you're a Democrat,
or you're Republican, they're more interested in just having someone to fight against rather than winning,
if that makes sense. Like, I kind of feel like Democrats wanted to win, but I don't also think Democrats,
not all Democrats, I think some Democrats don't mind that Donald Trump can be the bad guy yet again
and they have a foil rather than figuring out how to actually fix this country.
Elon Musk is also starting to talk of the Uniparty too. He said this about the national debt.
It has it. Actually, this is truly one of the bigger problems in our country.
You call it the Uniparty in action.
Well, I just going to say when I saw this, Elon Musk, wasn't your job in Doge to fix this?
Wasn't this your job?
Regardless, this is a Republican Party that is in chaos.
It's one that's actively hurting its own base.
And I say, let them, let them fight.
I'm team let them fight.
Now, on our side, we've got a lot of new blood coming up.
And here's one guy that has peak.
my interest for multiple reasons. This guy's name is Sam Forstag. I think that's how he pronounced his name.
He is a firefighter. He's a Democrat. He's running in Montana, Western Montana. I think we should
give him a close look. I think we deserve Democrats of all types. We should get Democrats elected
in all different types of areas. And quite frankly, I'll just say bluntly, we deserve Democrats
who are hot. If they got Matt Gates and
fucking Cory Lee Wendowski.
What does they got? All these freaks.
Yeah. Yeah. I'd say
not only do we have better policies,
but what if we have better policies
and we have a better way of communicating them?
Sam isn't just this.
He's also...
I think he's got like a good message.
Last election.
Majority of people making under $100,000 a year
voted Republican. About half of union members
in my state did not vote for Democrats last year
and a whole lot of young people stayed home
or they swung to the right
because they didn't see any cause
for hope in politics.
And so populism, well, it's giving those folks,
people like me,
someone that they can see their lived experience
reflected in as an option for a candidate.
And you do not see a lot of that
in a country where the average net worth
of a congressperson is $3 to $4 million,
depending on the day
and depending on how good the stock market is doing.
You don't see that in a country
where the average congressperson is 56 or 58 years old
and somehow the Democratic Party is the older of those two.
So populism is,
is just getting back to the basics of running people
and giving people to Mike
who can actually speak to what it's like
to be on the wrong end of all these broken systems.
Sounds good to me.
I've never met this guy before,
never talked to him,
but I'm going to leave his donation link below.
If you feel like giving him a couple of bucks, why not?
Montana 1 is going to be hard to flip,
but if not this year, then when?
And if not, with Sam, then with whom?
And I'll see you soon.
Bye.
