Rising Star Democrat Abdul Aseid just attacked Melania and Donald Trump and the relationship on CNN with Jake Tapper.
AOC is out here talking about 2028 and her next moves.
I got that coming up for you.
And let's check in on the Republicans.
Let's see how they're doing.
Because this ex-NBA pro just said the following on Fox News.
Hey, there's another primary election.
this Tuesday and we're going to be live streaming at 8 p.m. Please watch with us. You can go sign up for
it on my live stream area or just linked below. Go check it up. Well, I just said so you've declared
yourself eligible for the WMBA. I think I understand your motivations. You're leaning into
ultimately Sophie's push for fairness. But yet the WMBA is now going to hold talks over this
nuanced and complex issue where it doesn't really seem.
complex, biological men should not be allowed to play in ladies basketball.
Why are you getting involved?
And how did the WMBA even get to this point?
You know, right now, I'm just having a blast in my feminine era.
I never thought that I was a woman.
You know, I've always trusted the science.
And I thought I was a man my entire life.
But, you know, after further review, you know, strong look at my personal preferences.
it would appear that I am indeed sometimes identifying as a transgender woman.
And I think it's only fair I get a chance to play with some of my queens here in the twilight of my career, my athletic prime.
They, I mean, their brains have become broken.
Trans people have broken right wingers' brains.
This man, Royce White, what are you doing?
Well, and so exactly what you're saying, Royce, is just sort of unveils, pulls the curtain back on the lack of clarity in the WMBA's policies under Article 8 of their 2026 collective bargaining agreement.
It simply says that only players who are women are eligible to play in the NBA, but in the over 400-page document doesn't define what a woman is.
There are so many more things to worry about.
I'm sure the WMBA is going to figure this one out.
This man is having a psychotic break, though, on the internet.
He just posted this.
Says, it came, y'all.
My first wig.
Tomorrow I tested on the court.
This is my feminine era glow-up.
Did I slay?
If y'all don't, yes, queen.
you're transphobic. I really don't understand all the hatred. I just want to play
some hoops with my fellow ladies, Royce White, for U.S. Senate, Minnesota 2020. Okay, so this is a big
public relations ploy. Well, congratulate. I don't understand. Like, what, like, why,
why mock people who are different than you? Why mock? But it's, it's, I just think he's really just
Mockin himself. Wouldn't you agree? The only person who looks silly in this situation is him.
I don't know what he's trying to prove other than trans women have broken his brain and he can't
process it quite well enough. And I'll say this. Men like this, usually, usually they act like this
because they have an attraction to trans women that they can't fully accept. That's usually what's
happening. And that's the case, I hope you can learn to love yourself. All right, as I said,
on CNN, Abdul Asayed, who is the now Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate out of Michigan,
responded to Donald Trump's attacks on him and his wife with the perfect response.
Posted on social media, a photograph of him and First Lady Melania Trump in formal attire
next to a photograph of you and your wife.
You appear to be in a restaurant booth or something.
Your wife is a psychiatrist.
She's wearing a hijab.
The caption was two very different Americas.
What was your response when you saw that?
Yeah, he's right.
One in which your overlords are two people who don't like each other
but joint in the interest of making billions of dollars off of you.
Or two people who genuinely love each other,
enjoyed some pancakes together, want to come together
to build the kind of America where they can raise a family
and know that that family is going to have the good thing.
So yes, you've got two different visions of America.
Donald Trump's vision is the one you're living in right now.
Can you afford your gas?
Can you afford your groceries?
Do you believe when you look your kids in the eye
that they're going to have a better future than you did?
And Sara and I are running
because when we look our daughters in the eye,
Ameri and Siddini, we want them to believe
that they're every bit as able to have a better future
than the one that they could have had
under the Trump administration.
that they can live together with their sisters and their brothers in America in a way where they lock arms to build the good things that they deserve together,
where they know they'll have the health care that they need and good jobs and that they don't have to go 15 minutes and know that there are kids who live 15 minutes away whose lives are very, very different than theirs because we've been for far too long okay with a level of inequality.
I'll say that this man has the juice. He's got the juice. I love this. And you know who does not like.
it. Melania Trump, 100% upset about this. We know that she does not like her relationship being
discussed. We know that Donald Trump, of all the things you can talk about, that's the one thing
he does not appreciate you mocking is him and his wife in the relationship. In fact,
it's so bad that we actually have reporting that says that when this has come up before,
she's yelled at him to try to make it go away. So good on him for punching back. And yeah,
Like, I much rather an America that looks like this on the right than the oligarchs on the left who hate each other and just love money, power, and attention.
Yes, please.
I want people who represent us.
I know what it means to just go into like a cheap-ass diner and order of pancakes.
That sounds nice.
Now, Abdul didn't stop there.
This went super viral over the weekend.
Seven and a half million views where Abdul, I'm telling you,
I'm telling you something's going to happen in Michigan.
He went after his opponent Mike Rogers in the perfect way, and here it is.
Now, Mike, I'm just going to remind you, if you don't know how to say the name,
keep the name out your damn mouth or just call me Abdul.
But I got some opinions about his name.
See, it's very fitting for him, Rogers.
Because that's his answer every time a corporation or Donald Trump tells him to do something.
Mike, we need you to put a data center in the backyard.
Roger.
Mike, we need you to hike their prescription drug prices.
Roger.
Mike, we need you to rubber stamp this war we shouldn't be fighting.
Roger.
Mike.
This one's Donald Trump.
I need you to lick these boots.
Roger.
I also to say too, it's just so, it just gives me a little bit of hope to see folks
of every single background age,
age, demographic, all shouting, Abdul, Abdul, Abdul.
When I saw that that was the thing that struck me the most about this clip,
and also how he's a goddamn fighter.
Medi Hassan said this, said pretty sure Dems had been waiting
for a blunt counter-punching anti-Trump fighter like this since 2015.
Yeah, where has this been?
Truly, where has this been?
Where? I'm glad it exists now.
Can you believe they were trying to stop this man from getting the nomination?
They, meaning the establishment.
Ahmad Baba said, Abdul Al-Sayed does an excellent job here of redirecting Trump's Islamophobic attack
and pivoting straight to his message and vision.
Good stuff.
Yes, it's very Aso-like, isn't it?
We got some good people coming up.
Midas touch responding to Donald Trump, said,
we'll bite the Epstein class versus regular Americans who know how to spell.
Oh, man.
All right.
Not stopping there.
Al-Sayyad was asked about Hassan Piker.
Oh, no.
The person who is trying to, apparently to some people,
trying to destroy the Democratic Party,
and this was his response.
And if you don't, I'm sure some of you don't even,
you're not online enough to know.
Hassan Piker is a streamer.
He's very left-leaning.
He supports progressive candidates.
He was a big backer of Abdul.
and they've been trying to do what they can to, like, make Hassan an anchor on Abdul not working.
And this response to them yet again asking about him, they've asked him so many times.
And his response is pretty good.
So again, I'm a lot more focused on who I'm campaigning to rather than who I might campaign with.
When asked about Hassan Pikers comments on 9-11, Senator Bernie Sanders called it a dumb statement.
Do you agree?
Do you disavow those comments that America deserve 9-11?
Of course.
Of course it was a dumb statement.
And of course, I think Hassan himself would say that was a dumb statement.
He disavowed it.
So yes, America didn't deserve 9-11.
But, you know, to sit here and play gotcha politics with a dumb thing somebody said out of context
that they disavowed themselves to say, oh, well, what does that mean about what you think?
I want to be held accountable for what I say and what I do rather than this idea that we've, we're so stuck.
in cancel culture that all of us agreed was a bad idea back in 2020, but we seemed to want to
bring back.
We are out of time, but I have to ask you.
So good.
I cannot believe that is the thing that they're asking someone who's running for US Senate.
Do you condemn something a streamer said six years ago, that by the way, he himself has said,
he regrets saying so stupid.
There are so many more important things.
And by the way, I mean, not for nothing.
You have Max Miller on the other side, who's done allegedly unthinkable things to his wife and child.
And this man has asked about a streamer's comments from years ago.
And I don't think any Republicans really being asked about Max Miller, was anyone on the Sunday shows asked if they condemned Max Miller and if he should resign?
that's like to me the disparity between Democrats and Republicans is because we sometimes
put check on our own that because Republicans are not expected to they're just they just
have there's no expectation so they don't even they don't even try demanding them to answer for
the things the awful things that people in their party do it's infuriating all right and then
this is not infuriating this is actually quite hopeful aOC
was asked about, actually, let's go to this first,
because AOC was actually also asked about
the most important thing happening in America, apparently,
Hassan Piker, here's what she had to say.
Another person who's been, made an issue, is Hassan Piker,
who obviously endorsed Abdul-Said in Michigan.
You've been on his live stream, you know, at least a few times.
He's somebody who said, you know, that America deserve 9-11.
Now he backed off from him.
that. Yes, yes, he's apologized. But he said a lot of, he said a lot of controversial things.
Is he somebody that should have a role in the progressive movement going forward?
You know, I think when we look at our elections that have happened, we have lost young people.
Much hay was made about the fact that we lost young men in the last election. And many of the
same consultants that are ringing their hands today were the same ones talking.
talking about how we need to go on Joe Rogan and we need to be not so, you know, willing to engage in cancel culture.
And I think that the flip-flopping on this is a tactical debate that they may be having.
I think the fact of the matter is is that Democrats can go on Joe Rogan, Democrats can go on Fox News,
Democrats have a responsibility to build a winning coalition and young people are engaging in
mediums and conversations that we have a responsibility to attend to and be responsive to.
And even right now, when we look at this insurgent wave of what is happening, oftentimes
when people are doing that Monday morning quarterbacking and what demographics voted where,
The big one that's being ignored is the generational tidal wave.
It's phenomenal.
You see it in the polling.
It is significant.
Millennials are not, you know, punk kids anymore.
Yeah.
We're grown adults with mortgages and kids.
And we, that generation is starting to be decisive at the polls.
And there is anger at being ignored, sidelined, having our efforts.
economic futures mortgaged by the generations that came before us on everything from the economy
to climate. And we're taking the reins. Yeah. And I'm just going to say this. Like,
if you like him, you don't like it. Like, they're just doing what they do all the time. Now,
it's just crazy that it's the people on our side doing the Fox News version of like transgenderism
for everyone and like, you know, invasion at the border.
and now they're just doing it with Hassan Piker.
And like some sort of, they're just trying to create some sort of fear spiral
to try to prevent progressives from actually gaining power and momentum.
And it's not working, thankfully, but it's also just like a waste of everyone's time.
Just a waste of time.
It's a waste of time.
Imagine if like they did this with Rush Limbaugh on the right.
Of course, sometimes he said terrible things he had to answer for it.
But just one person with one voice.
He's not running for office.
But you know, who might be is aOC?
Here's what she had to say.
We're almost out of time to get to your future.
I'm sure you saw the poll in New Hampshire that had you as the leading candidate,
leading choice for Democrats.
First of all, are you going to run for president?
I mean, I'm focused on winning the midterms.
I'm running for Congress right now.
But, I mean, do you see this is something...
I know you said you're open to it.
Is it a realistic possibility for you?
I haven't, well, I haven't ruled out the possibility,
and I'm very humbled to the tremendous amount of support out there.
I think that we have a responsibility to remain focused on the midterms
and not on our individual aspirations or plans.
And running for Senate against Chuck Schumer,
Is that also something that's possible?
I mean, I think that anything is possible at this juncture.
I like that.
I like that.
Would you prefer AOC to run for president or Senate?
I'm going to tell you right now, I don't care either way.
Whatever she wants to do, I will support.
But I think it would be very nice if we got.
What if we got rid of Chuck Schumer and replaced him with AOC?
I would like to live in that version of America.
I'd like to live in that timeline, please.
But if she wants to run for president and she feels like that's the thing that her calling,
then she should go right ahead, right ahead.
I think we just need as many people as possible to run.
So we have as many options as possible.
This is the longest video in my goddamn life.
My God.
17 minutes and counting.
All right.
Well, happy Sunday.
I hope you having a great day.
I'm feeling a little hopeful.
