Bill Clinton is currently being interrogated by the House Oversight Committee over his connection with Jeffrey Epstein, only one problem.
Donald Trump is the one who really should be investigated.
And another problem, Bill Clinton dropped a huge bomb on Donald Trump during the start of this interrogation.
And Jimmy Kimmel had a really good question about all of this, because isn't it all kind of just sitting under their noses and they're just deciding not to look at it?
Congressman Pat Fallon from Texas, he was on Fox News.
Listen to this, because it's just bonkers.
So this has never been done before, and a former president's never been compelled to appear before Congress.
Is this where this is all heading as of today?
Well, we've never had a former president either this close to a convicted felon either.
I mean, it's problematic.
He never had a former president this close to a convicted felon.
We have a current president who is a convicted fellow.
By the way, this whole thing of like, oh, we started this precedent.
Now we have to, we can invite and dite from presidents.
I don't know, like, listen, you are president for eight years.
You do not become king.
You are not prince.
You're not sultan.
You're not become God on earth.
You are a president who are supposed to serve the American people for eight years.
And then when that's done, you become a normal citizen.
and by the way, it shouldn't afford you any other protections or certainly any other legal
protections than any other American citizens.
So I don't like this whole thing of like, this is a bad precedent.
Like, who cares?
If you did something wrong and Congress wants to speak to you or if you supposedly, allegedly
have done something wrong and Congress wants to check it out, I think that's well within the right.
I think we should stop babying presidents.
I think that's kind of how we got into this mess, to be quite frank.
Now, Morgan Freeman, I don't know, where'd he come from?
Morgan Freeman, but he's here.
He's back.
And he is also kind of just speaking truth of power on MS now.
Well, we have somebody sitting in the White House who's leading us down in the shithole.
I can't personally understand how a convicted fellow.
convicted.
34 felon felonious, is that word, counts of wrongdoing
gets to be president.
How do you do that?
I mean, you say, well, he was camp, I don't care.
That ruling went down before he stepped into the Oval Office.
So it just doesn't make sense to me.
Well, we have somebody sitting in the White House.
House, it was leading us down at the shithole.
I can't.
It just doesn't make sense to me.
None of it makes sense to me either.
And I don't think it's supposed to.
I don't think it's supposed to.
In fact, if it made sense, I would be worried.
I'd be worried.
Now, what is not making sense either is the fact that they have,
they're interrogating the Clintons and Bill Clinton is currently being asked questions about Epstein.
Now, I actually, as I said, I'm not against this.
I think this is exactly what they should be doing, if they feel like there is any sort of evidence
and any sort of information they can get from someone, regardless of who they are and what they've
done in the past.
Like, a former president does not have immunity from being held accountable to us, the people.
But it does feel like they want to talk to everyone but Donald Trump, who, by the way,
is probably the one who has the most information about Jeffrey Epstein.
here's what Clinton said, Bill Clinton, not Hillary Clinton, who was interrogated yesterday.
Before we start, I have to get personal, you made Hillary come in. She had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein, nothing.
She has no memory of ever meeting him. She neither traveled with him nor visited any of his properties.
Whether you subpoenaed 10 people or 10,000, including her, was simply not right.
He went on to say, though my brief acquaintance with Epstein and a year before his crimes came to light,
And though I never witnessed during our limited interactions any indication what was truly going on,
I'm here to offer what little I know going on. I'm here to offer what little I know so that it might
prevent anything like this from ever happening again. There's a photo of Bill Clinton.
And it went on to say here, first, I had no ideas of the crimes that I've seen was committing,
no matter how many photos you show of me. I have two things that at the end of the day matter
more than your interpretation of those 20-year-old photos. I know what I see.
and more importantly, I know what I didn't see.
I know what I did, and more importantly, what I didn't do, I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong.
Okay, let's just read this last quote.
As someone who grew up, in a home with domestic abuse, not only would I not have flown on his
plan if I had any inkling of what he was doing, I would have turned him down, turned him in
myself, and led the call for justice for his crimes, not sweetheart deals.
Okay.
He said that that would be an unsatisfying answer.
I mean, I suppose it's just, listen, again, like, we're not a cult on our side.
The only one who's really going to know the truth is Bill Clinton, Jeffrey Epstein, perhaps
Gillesne Maxwell.
We don't know.
We don't know what Bill Clinton did or did not know.
I like to, I like to, what I like to do in these sorts of instances is I do like to, I like to
shrink it down to size because I think this can all feel very big.
someone's plain, you know, billionaires, former presidents.
But really, these are just people.
These are just people in relationship with one another, okay?
Now, we just have to ask in my own life.
If there's someone I know and I've hung out with quite a bit, is that an acquaintance?
I would say no.
And generally speaking, after you hang out with someone a few times, you have a sense of
Now, he might, it very well could be that Bill Clinton does not know, did not know of anything going on with Jeffrey Epstein.
But just keep this in mind.
Like, think about in your work life.
Think about on Facebook with your friends.
Think about like your own friend group.
That there is, there's always gossip.
There's always gossip.
And if Jeffrey Epstein, when we know Jeffrey Epstein was doing unthinkable things involving other powerful people,
One would have to assume there was some level of gossip going around it.
Though people might not have known for sure, there were probably rumors.
There was probably speculation.
There is probably some sort of gossip around it.
Now, was Bill Clinton involved in that?
Did he know?
He says he didn't.
I just think about people I barely know I'm acquaintances with.
I know more about them than I should.
Maybe it was different in the 90s.
Think about it too like this.
when you are, I don't know how many billioners are there back then, what were there,
2,500, I think there's like 4,000 now.
You know what big, like a big high school is in the South?
Like, how many people are in there?
2,000, 3,000?
You probably know most of the people in your school, certainly all the people in your class.
I don't know.
I just think, I just think to me, it just seems like a bit of a leap.
If I apply what he's trying to say to my own life around people that I kind of do or don't
know, it just.
hard for me to grasp that he didn't have any idea. He didn't hear one thing. Okay. Okay.
Now, I just want to say that this is like a smaller thing, but this is Howard Lutnik, who you
might remember said he had nothing to Jeffery Epstein. He never wanted his island. And then it
later was revealed in emails that he was on the island. And now we found out that this image was
deleted where he's on Jeffrey Epstein's island.
The government deleted it.
And now rep Nancy Mace is actually calling for it to be,
calling for him to take questions from the oversight committee.
Ted Liu said,
Dear Howard Lutnik,
so how many times did you go to Epstein's island?
Dear Pam Bondi,
why are you covering up this picture of Epstein's friend Lutnik?
And are you really so stupid you think deleting a picture
after you posted on the internet will make it go away?
It's very strange.
This is not the end.
This is just the beginning.
