All right, we have some really disturbing, breaking news where rep Ilan Omar was just attacked and sprayed with a mystery liquid at a press conference moments ago. Here is that clip. And then we're going to talk about why this is exactly what Donald Trump wants. The gnome must resign or face impeachment. I don't know. Sign or face. I had to say props to her. Let's get like, that's fucking brave.

Because what did she do when that man attacked her? She went towards him. Look at that. That is a brave woman. She was about to sock him. Now, this is obviously not over. okay. Thank God it was just some liquid. I hope it's nothing bad, like acid or anything like that. Hopefully it's just like water or something. But, uh, but obviously could have been much, much worse.

Could have been much worse. I have one more angle for you here. Trump and his paramilitary immigration enforcement will not get away with their unlawful attacks on our state. The constitution is on our side. We will film must resign or face impeachment. I don't know. Oh, my God. He's braced something on her. I need a napkin to know nothing.

No, we will keep you. No, no, no. You hear that woman saying it smells terribly. You need to go get chicken. No, we will continue. These fucking assholes are not going to get away with it. You need to go get check. No, we don't know what you're going to.

That's whatever it is smells so bad, she needs to go get checked. I don't know what that was. It's not about him, Ilhan. It's not about him. It's about your safety. No, he sprays police. You need to go get shared. And it smells terrible.

As long as she's not in pain and as long as she feels safe, I do think that's the right thing to do. Like, obviously maybe end the press conference early, but I have so much respect for Rep. I'm Omar, who, by the way, the reason why this is happening is because Donald Trump and the right has vilified her. This is just the most recent stuff where at the World Economic Forum in Davos and recent rallies, Trump,

has said personal and political attacks saying that Trump stated that he intends to imprison or strip citizenship from her, calling her a fake congressperson and saying she would not get away with it any longer. Trump has publicly called for Elon Omar to be jailed or sent back to Somalia, and he's linked a $9 billion welfare fraud investigation to her. He's called her garbage and has mocked her refugee background hijab and also on January 27th. Today, Trump ordered the Department of Justice in Congress to investigate Omar's finances following reports of a significant increase in her family's net worth. The reason why her family's net worth increases because she married someone wealthy. So there's the big secret, Donald Trump. But Hassan Piker said

this. She said, Ilan Omar has been in the crosshairs of the right for a decade. Trump consistently uses dehumanizing language, rhetoric against her, as he did in the earlier Iowa rally today. He wanted this to happen. He does want this to happen. He wants something terrible to happen to rep Ilana. Thank God that man didn't have a gun. Thank God that man didn't have a gun. And thank God she is safe. I'm praying for her, but this is not acceptable. It's not acceptable. It's not.

And I can't believe that, I mean, this is one of those things where like every Republican should immediately condemn it. I doubt, do you think the president is going to say one thing about this? Do you think any member of Congress who's not on the right, or sorry, any member of Congress who's on the right is going to say something about this? Of course not. Of course not. They should.

They should. Everyone should be trying to take the temperature down. But they won't. They're all cowards. Absolute cowards. And I just wanted to show you this too because this is happening. Minneapolis, like I know we felt good about Greg Bonvino being deported out of Minneapolis back to California. But this shit's still going on.

They took it. took this woman's, I think, either husband or at least the father of this child. I'll say this, like the only difference between what happened in Nazi Germany and what's happening right now in Minneapolis is that in Nazi Germany, they didn't have cell phones. They didn't have a way to document. And that little girl is eating an ice cream cone when this all happened. And now her dad is gone. Now her dad is gone. Someone said, I'm sorry, I watched this shit, and I just want to cancel all the America, 250 stuff.

Nothing to celebrate here. I'm all for border enforcement. I'm all for deporting criminals, but the current ICE are not redeemable people. So that's someone on the right saying that though they were with Donald Trump at one point, they're not anymore because of what's happening. Someone else said this. They said, Joan Wall said, I don't, they used to believe in hell now I do. Now I do. And remember, this is like getting to the administration.

This is getting to the administration. Stephen Miller, it says here, is essentially conceding or acknowledging that they, there may have been a breach of protocol when it comes to shooting Alex Prettie. And just a reminder is the same person who said that Prattie in the aftermath was a would-be assassin. So this stuff, like, it's. Like, I do believe that the good guys are winning. I do believe that. I think if this is an information war, we are currently winning that war.

I hate the reason why we're winning it is because of shit happening to Ilan Omar and because of shit happening to citizens in this country or people who are doing nothing wrong other than trying to make a better life for themselves and their family are being tormented by ICE. but those images speak louder than a tweet Donald Trump speak louder than any tweet Donald Trump ever typed could for sure so I hate that this is happening but I'm at least grateful that it appears America is better than this as it stands right now we will see we have at least three more years with Donald Trump, but it's nice to know that they're conceding some ground, that they can't just force their violence and aggression on all of us. Not yet, at least. And the thing that's hopeful

to me, too, is that American citizens are the ones leading the charge, not elected officials, but citizens. It makes me very important. proud to be American today. Seeing folks like that woman yelling at ice in the earlier clip saying, like, what are you doing? Like, it's just average American citizens standing up for our rights and for our ideals. And truly, I don't think there's anything more American than that.
