Starting point is 00:00:00 Pete HECSeth recently admitted that he lied about the Iran war and the death toll. So we're seeing now even like more reporting coming out that as it pertains to who's getting the blame, it's not Trump. It's not Rubio. Who is it? It's Hegseth. This is all very strategic. Let's just listen to some of this. Pentagon has updated the number of service members killed in the war in Iraq. According to Pentagon's public database, the defense, casualty in analysis system, the official death toll is 21. From the Washington Post reporting, the additional casualties include major sorefly devious 46, an Army National Guard member who died
Starting point is 00:00:43 in Kuwait on March 6th, and an unidentified Navy suicide that occurred in September, according to a U.S. official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to provide additional contacts on the troop deaths. In addition, 865 service members have been wounded, according to updated data in DCAS. Just a few months ago, the Washington Post reported that more U.S. troops have died in the Iran war, and Pentagon has disclosed publicly. Defense Secretary Pete Hegesath called that reporting a disgusting lie, the claim in the Washington Post was worse than Iranian state media. Let's just like walk you through some of this stuff. Remember April 2nd? Where were you on April 2nd? I'll tell you where Pam Bondi was fighting for her life to keep her job. She failed.
Starting point is 00:01:28 But there was reporting at the time that. that Trump was discussing firing Pam Bondi. We reported on that weeks before it happened because the thing is with this sort of stuff, DC talks. Like the real currency of DC isn't the American dollar. The real currency of DC is information and gossip. If you have something, you can trade your gossip for something else and having insight into what's happening helps you get ahead.
Starting point is 00:01:57 So people like to talk in DC. I live there for a while. I can promise you when you get to a party. People love to share secrets. Some people are more strategic about it than others, but people love to spill tea. That's why we always talk about the things that are murmuring because now it doesn't always happen, but there's always some validity to the rumors. And as you're going to see here, when Pam Bondi was coming up, everyone was like, Keith, Keith, Keith, Keith, Keith, it's not true.
Starting point is 00:02:26 It's not true. It hasn't happened yet. Well, guess what? she did get fired. She did get fired. Same thing with Christy Noem. Christy Noem. We heard about this for a few, we heard about this a few times. This was like, I want to say, at least six weeks of rumors of Christy Noem potentially getting fired and eventually it did happen. And then we also saw Christy Noam got destroyed in the press over Apo. Someone was sitting on about her now ex-husband who just loved to wear fake balloons as titties.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Good for him. Her political career, over. Caput. And of course, Tulsi Gabbard. Now, what is fascinating about this is that Pete Hickseth would be the first man fired from the Trump administration. Hasn't happened yet. We actually saw someone that made, we were hearing about Kim Gilfoyle. There was a few days of rumors before she got asked to leave as well.
Starting point is 00:03:25 And we've also seen kind of like a bit of this too from Trump himself. when it came to Pete Hagseth, and he blamed him for the war. And then unfortunately, I called Pete. I called General Kane. I called a lot of our great people. We have great people. And I said, let's talk. We got a problem in the Middle East.
Starting point is 00:03:43 We have a country known as Iran that for 47 years has been just a purveyor of terror. And they're very close to having a nuclear weapon. We can keep going and get that 50,000 up to 55 and 60. is no end. Or we can take a stop and make a little journey into the Middle East and eliminate a big problem. And Pete, I think you were the first one to speak up. And you said, let's do it because you can't let them have a nuclear weapon. So listen, what Trump is doing there is blaming Pete Hegsef for the war. That's really important for this next piece of reporting because as you're going to see in just a moment, Donald Trump intends on using Pete Hegsef.
Starting point is 00:04:29 as a reason to get out of the war and a reason to get rid of them. And of course, we also know that Thomas Massey has called for impeachment of Pete Hegg-Seth. And one of the reasons why Congress isn't meeting right now is because they're trying to avoid that vote. We've also have members of Congress who have said repeatedly that they think that President Trump should hire someone else and fire Pete Hegg-Seth. So, Congressman, do you agree with your GOP colleague in the Senate? Tom Tillis, who, as we mentioned, tonight is calling on President Trump to replace Pete Hagseth, saying on social media, quote, I have never witnessed a more inept management of the brave men and women of who serve our country. Of course, you served your country as well. Do you agree with
Starting point is 00:05:14 that? I agree with the sentiments of Senator Tillis. I hate to tell the president who he should hire and fire. I don't know if it's really my role, but I would say this. I would not, he would not be on my team. I think he has not been a very good leader in many ways. So I agree with the sentiments to Senator Tillis, and I wouldn't hire him myself. He would not be at my team. Again, you put all these pieces together.
Starting point is 00:05:39 It's very important we walk you through all that to show that when you hear news like this is meaningful. So Dominic Trippi is reporting that Trump is reportedly overriding Pete Hegg-Seth and they're canceling the live streaming of the firing squad, execution of Fort Hood gunman Nidal Hassan. Okay. So he's overriding Pete Hexeth. And then we also have reporting here. Trump reportedly considering firing Defense Secretary Hexhaft after the midterms in an effort to take the blame of the unpopular Iran war off himself and onto Hexeth in order to protect his legacy and reputation as an anti-wharf. are president. I'm going to tell you right now, the responsibility for a war rests solely on the
Starting point is 00:06:28 president of the United States. So that will not work. But what's meaningful about this to me, we've been hearing about this. We've been hearing trickles of Pete Hegseth losing favor at the president, with Donald Trump considering removing him. And as I've shown you, when these rumors get said enough, there's something to it. And so, Pete Higgseth very likely will be gone before the end of the year, which I think could be good for the country. But as we saw with Katie Zechariah, quite often you get rid of these bozos and they get replaced with even worse people.
Starting point is 00:07:13 So we might be sitting here on January 1st, 27 saying, God damn it, do you miss Pete Hegseth? because this new guy is fucking insane. So, yeah, might be good temporarily when Trump gets rid of him, but quite often they just find someone even worse. I think it's much more politically beneficial. If Democrats gain control of the House, it's much better for Democrats politically
Starting point is 00:07:43 to go after an underling for an impeachment. So it would be in Donald Trump's best interest to remove him himself rather than have to go through the political war that is impeachment. Because I don't think you tell him if I'm wrong. Do you think Hakeem Jeffries would rather impeach Pete Heggseth or Donald Trump?
Starting point is 00:08:06 I think Donald Trump would love to get impeached. I think he should be, but I think he would love to get impeached because he needs to be the foil to someone. That's how he's kind of failing right now is that they're in control of everything. The only person they can blame for anything is Joe Biden. Donald Trump would absolutely kill for him to be able to have some sort of political war where he could be the martyr yet again. I do think he should get impeached.
Starting point is 00:08:35 I don't know how politically expedient that would be for Democrats or for the country because his approvals tend to go up when he becomes a martyr, when he becomes attacked, when it looks like something unfair is happening to him. we of course know that's not the case. But I do think Hegs, I do think Hegseth is a much more valuable target for the Democrats. And someone who I think Republicans, as I showed you earlier, would get behind if an impeachment were to happen. So Donald Trump, not the smartest guy, but he might be thinking, hey, there's a few problems I could get myself out of if I just got rid of him. I could blame the Iran war on him. I could leave the war and say it was because of Hexeth. And on top of that, I keep an entire impeachment out of my hands.
Starting point is 00:09:30 So let's just let us pull. Let us do a poll. I'll ask this. I'll ask this. Do you think Hekeem Jeffries should impeach Hexeth or Trump? He's not going to do both.
