We have some really sad breaking news. I'm going to tell you what is confirmed. And then we also have some unconfirmed reporting that I can bring you exclusively here. TMZ is reporting that Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle, were found dead at their LA home. Wounds were consistent with a knife. Now, before I go any further, there is absolutely zero sign at this moment that this is politically motivated. Okay, now we do know that Rob Reiner was very active in democratic politics, and there are a lot of people on the internet who are very upset about this. Maga at the moment is celebrating this death.

It's very, very, very, very, very disgusting, despicable behavior. And my thoughts and prayers are with any and all who are close to this family. Now, as I said, the wounds were consistent with a knife, and there is someone who is being actively investigated. tell you in just a moment. But Rob Reiner, the legendary director and his wife, Michelle Singer. Reiner have died. TMZ has confirmed, and as they reported previously, two dead bodies were found, and there are Rob and Michelle's, and their Brent went home Sunday afternoon. Law enforcement told TMZ that it was the Reiner's. Sources say that the two suffered lacerations consistent with a knife. The LAPD's robbery homicide division is still invented.

And then TMZ goes into some background about Rob and Michelle. Now, Rob and Michelle have three kids together, Jake, Nick, and Romy. Rob also has a daughter, Tracy, from his first marriage to director, Penny Marshall. Rob was 78. Michelle was 68. Okay. And then we have some more reporting here. It says here that, now this is unconfirmed.

This is from someone's Tim Pingel's YouTube. live and this is what we're learning here. They've already hauled away from what we're hearing allegedly. It was Nick the son. We know a family member was moved by SWAT. I can't confirm her deny who it was. They've already hauled. Okay.

And I can also tell you that Don Lemon is reporting the same thing. Now, this is all confirmed, but he's also hearing the same thing that it could have been the son, Nick. And his son, Nick, it was. reported has had issues with addiction. Now, we're also learning, too, as it says here, that a knife was used. This is the New York Post reconfirming what the TMZ said. Detectives from LAPD's robbery homicide division were also the scene.

A spokesperson for the department said a knife is believed to have been used in the attack. And the NYP or sorry, New York Post also reports that officers were called to the home Sunday afternoon where they discovered a man and woman with staff ruins. Also confirming TMZ's reporting. So we will learn more as this goes on, but I kind of wanted to jump on here, even though we don't have as much information as we would like at this time.

But what quite often happens in these breaking news environments is that MAGA likes to spread misinformation during the fog of war. So it is absolutely imperative while we don't know exactly what happened, that these are the facts as they stand right now. There is absolutely no

sign that this is politically motivated. That could change. But at this moment, there's absolutely no sign of it. The suspect that we're hearing right now, I want to make sure I have this right because I think I have, yes. Don Lemon is reporting that Rob's son is a person of

interest. And we're hearing that he may be in custody at this moment where we're still not sure but we are we are just kind of learning we are waiting for more information to come out at this moment so we will bring you more as we have it but that is what we know so far so it is I'm just going to say this is a very very very very very very very very heightened time in the world in America between what has happened in Australia. There was a shooting yesterday at Brown University. This stuff with Charlie Kirk.

If you are feeling scared or worried or anxious, that's okay. That is okay. I think that is an appropriate response to what is happening right now. Allow yourself to feel that way. because what's happening now is not normal. I don't want you to get used to this. This is not normal. Now, I don't want those feelings to control how you behave.

Because in order for us to fix this, we've got to walk through those feelings of anxiety or fear or sadness. Because we can change, we can change this world. This world has been shaped by very, very, very, awful, immoral people, but they shaped it. And we can very, very, very, very, very, I'm not going to say easily, but we have, we can, we have the opportunity to make a world that represents our values and beliefs. So things are bad right now, but I do think people are waking up. And again, this is not politically motivated, but I do think, I do think that.

with everything else going on, it certainly does heightened the tension that even in your own home, you can't be safe. But we can create a better world. And we will. We will. And you're going to be one of the ones to help us do it. So I'm sorry to bring you such bad news at such a late night, but I wanted to bring this to you to make sure that you had accurate information.
