We got some breaking news. The roommate of the person who allegedly killed Charlie Kirk has been discovered and is apparently cooperating with the FBI. I want to bring this to you because though it's not going to fit into the narrative that people were expecting, I do think that it's more complicated than what the right wing is about to do with this. because the roommate is apparently someone who identifies as transgender and is transitioning from male to female. But this reporting also says, and you're not going to hear this on the right, is that the person also is cooperating with the FBI and is not seen as a suspect in the killing.

Okay? So we don't know the motive yet. I'm going to bring you through all that information, but know that at the top. that the right is going to make this about transgender people being dangerous and violent and mass shooters and that's the transgender person who lived with tyler robinson did not pull the trigger a straight white guy did from a maga family it's a very complicated situation the right is going to try to make it very simple and point the finger at someone who we don't know whether or not they were deeply involved and as far as the reporting goes has been cooperative with the fbi

and is not seen as a suspect before we get to that i want to talk about this guy because this person shot shot up his school and it happened the same day very american for this to happen the same day as another shooting but there was a mass shooting in denver that we're not talking about it turns out that person was radicalized. And it turns out that person was radicalized on the right. The search warrants for this suspect's phone and home have revealed early indications. He had been radicalized by some extreme networks, said Kelly out of any more details would likely be released at a later time. It's not yet clear if the shooting was entirely targeted or random once at a school. It could be a bit of both. She was not able to provide any information

about how the suspect detained the handgunner who owned it. The grandfather of twin brothers attending 10th grade at the school who were not injured in the shooting said he was in shock after learning his family was touched by gun violence for the second time within five years. One of the boys was in the main hallway when the shooting broke out and he just ran. Webb said the other boy was outside of the music room and he ran too, but he ran into police and had weapons drawn. And Charlie Kirk's death is a big deal. We should talk about it.

But let's not forget that this happened all the time in America. often at schools, often by white men radicalized on the right. So the right wants to make this about one thing when there's very clearly something going on. This headline here, radicalized Evergreen high school students should be able to hold anti-Semitic violent views in online accounts. Social media accounts appear to be connected to shooter Desmond Holly or littered with references to mass shootings and anti-Semitic views. A post on X about an hour before Wednesday's attack shows an image of a hand holding a revolver,

the type of weapon that the authorities confirmed Desmond used during the attack. Representatives for the sheriff's office did not answer specific questions about the social media accounts. The accounts also included reference to Holocaust denial, and the name of one of the accounts appeared to end with a reference to a prominent white supremacist slogan. The account reposted several videos showing school, shooting scenes from movies, as well as another video that appeared to show the two Columbine shooters taking target shots at bowling pins. Other videos, the account reposted were explicitly anti-Semitic or depicted people in Nazi uniforms. The school's lockdown procedures prevented the shooter from reaching many of the students,

but two were critically injured and are being treated at Denver area hospitals, Kelly said. And just more on this shooter, the 16-year-old Denver mass shooter had an account. on a site where you can watch videos of people dying violently, was obsessed with Caled by tuning, and was encouraged by people online to emulate the Christ Church in Buffalo mass shooters. On the morning of the attack, he posted a picture on this app, and here that is, that we talked about.

So there's something happening online to young men, across the board. And I would like to solve it, personally. I don't think we should have to live like this. and I think we deserve better to our children. I don't know how to fix it, but I know the first step is to admit there's a problem. We got a problem in this country.

The right wants to ignore it. I would like to solve it. I would like to work with anyone who wants to solve it, where there'd be on the right, left, middle. Now, as I said, Tyler Robinson's roommate has been revealed and is actually someone who tipped off the FBI and is identified as a family for you,

is identified as family effusive, denied transgender motive for Charlie Kirk Association. So this is the person, but I want to point out here, before we get into this, Twiggs was not named in the law enforcement filing and is not accused of being involved in Kirk's murder. That could change, but that's how it stands right now.

All right, a 22-year-old wannabe professional gamer who lived with Charlie Kirk's alleged assassin, gave cops incriminating text messages leading to his his arrest. Lance Twiggs turned over Tyler Robinson, who lived with him in a three-bedroom apartment in St. George, Utah, the Daily Mail can reveal. Twigs showed police text from Robinson about stashing a gun linked to Wednesday shooting of the prominent conservative activists at Utah Valley, a law enforcement affidavit said. His identity was revealed as separate reports emerged from Fox in the New York Post, which stated that Robinson was living with, quote, a transgender partner

who is cooperating with the investigation. It is unclear if Twigs is the same person referenced in the reports, and he has not been named in the affidavit. His grandfather, Jerry Twiggs, told the Daily Mail that he was unable to comment on rumors that he is trans and that there was a transgender motive to Kirk's murder. Quote, I don't want to comment on that. I'm not sure what his situation is exactly right now,

adding that he had never met Robinson. Jerry also confirmed his grandson had been talking with the police, but that he had not spoken with him since. Quote, after he was in the police, with the police, he's been at his house, and there's no way for us to contact him other than going over there. So we are going to learn more about this individual. We are going to learn more about what the conversations were like between this individual and the person who shot Charlie Kirk. What we shouldn't do is speculate, and what the right is doing is trying to create an enemy. And I just want to point this out because Bill Maher really handed it to Ben Shapiro, who pretended like we just know all the answers to this stuff.

And we do not. If there's a shooting at a synagogue, it is very likely to be either a white supremacist or a radical Muslim. If it is a shooting of a Republican politician, it is very likely to be a trans-Antifa Marxist's shooting. That is just not true. We don't know what this kid is. We do know this kid was of the left. We do know that. We do know what?

that this kid was of the political left. That is according to contemporaneous reporting from the Guardian as well as tablet magazine today. It's two days out. We don't know shit, Ben. We don't know shit. They never do. The Internet is undefeated in getting it wrong to begin with. It's not about the Internet.

That's about the actual reporting by mainstream acceptance. The Guardian is not right. Here's what we heard. And as we know, the Guardian actually corrected what he's referencing there. The Guardian said that they had interviewed a student that. went to school with Tyler Robinson and later on the Guardian reported that the student said

that he was very leftist but then later corrected it saying that it turns out the student didn't really know him well enough at all. I was told so far and I'll tell you what was wrong. First I heard he's a registered Republican. Not true. Okay. Then he was a donor to Trump. Not true. His father works in the sheriff's office.

Not true. There was a picture of him wearing a Trump shirt, not true. A member of the Democratic Socialists of America, not true. We don't know what he is. Well, how are you so sure he's of the left? Now, I agree when you write on a bullet. What did he write on the bullet? Catch this fascist, which is also a gamer thing. Okay, but now I'm hearing he may have been part of that group for whom Charlie Kirk was not right-wing enough. You mean the Groyper's, yes. I mean, so that would-

You're sure he's not that? I'm not sure that he's not that. Oh, a minute ago, you were sure what he was. Hold on, Bill. Hold on. Okay, because I've been... You were. He was.

Let's just watch the beginning. If there's a shooting at a synagogue, it is very likely to be either a white supremacist or a radical Muslim. If it is a shooting of a Republican politician, it is very likely to be a trans-Antifa Marxist shooter. That is just not true. We don't know what this kid is. We do know this kid was of the left. We do know that this kid was of the left. A minute and a half later.

Or he's not that. I'm not sure that he's... Yeah, that's kind of how this all works. So let us just live in the unknown. We don't know what this is all going to be. The right is really masterful at creating narratives that are not true, taking small bits of information and making them appear to be the full story. We don't know.

We don't know. I do know. We do have a violence program, a violence problem in this country. one that I would hope we can solve one day. We can't solve it if we have idiots like this pretending like they know everything rather than just admitting that there is a problem with young men in this country
