The Keith Edwards Show - Crowd of Veterans Boo Tim Walz, Then He Wins Them Over

Keith Edwards discusses how former VP candidate Tim Walz was heckled at a Minnesota veterans event but kept his cool, showing respect for the crowd despite their anger. He then roasts Elon Musk and Fox News, defending Walz’s joke about Tesla’s stock dip and calling out their overblown reactions given their own track records.

Tim Walls was booed yesterday by veterans during an event where he was rallying to help protect veteran services. And I have to say, I watched this and I was a little upset, but I was also so proud of the way that he handled this. Imagine if any Republican were to get this type of pushback from their constituents. But Tim Walls handled it really gracefully. And here it is. Thank you all. Thank you all. Well, welcome, welcome to the Capitol.

It's great that you're all. Sir, you're welcome to come. Let me finish. Let me finish and vote. There's some passion in the building, which is a good thing. So I love that because Donald Trump will literally just throw people out who have the slightest bit of disagreement with him. And Tim Walls not only was willing to hear them out, but he also

was said, hey, you have every right to be here and I love the passion that you have. And what is really surprising about this

is that one reporter said that afterwards, after he kept speaking, many of the veterans who originally booed him were on his side. Let me finish.

Walls allowed the hecklers to have their say then went on to talk about how he plans to continue fighting for veterans. There's some passion in the building, which is a good thing. We're going to have a debate, but I've made it clear.

I will compromise with you on the budget. I will not compromise in the space of the veterans' issues. We are going to fund them to where they need to be. The governor was able to mollify the crowd by reminding veterans of what his administration has done to fund veterans' homes and other services. One veteran we talked to wasn't surprised by the reaction. A little bit of the booze is normal and simple. stuff, you know, we have divided politics in Minnesota. But, you know, he ran for vice president.

What do you expect and stuff? And they still disagree. Governor, the reaction to some of the booze that you got out there and some of the heckling. Yeah, and some of the thank you. And this guy wanted to go brawl, help me brawl the guy. Look, that's what they're going to do. These folks come here. They're going to have reality. Some of these guys voted for what's happening at the VA and they don't like it. Yeah, that's the thing is that they're mad at him over really this, like, right-wing. smear about his military record. He never serves in combat.

By the way, neither did J.D. Vance. And that's what they're really mad about. But the second that he reminds him whose side he's on, which is the side of the veterans, they calmed down a little bit. Tim Wall also made news a couple of weeks ago when he made front of Elon Musk because his stock, the Tesla stock, was falling. and he said, I love this. I'm saying on my phone, I don't know, some of you know this on the iPhone,

they've got that little stock app. I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day. 2.25 and dropping. So, go ahead. And if you own one, if you own one, we're not blaming you. You can take dental floss and pull the Tesla thing off, you know, and take out of just telling you. So that was such a great moment.

And Elon Musk and Donald Trump, in so much of the right-wing media ecosystem started to attack him saying that he was callous and he was trying to hurt a great American company. But look at what Tim Wall says in response to those attacks. And I just love this energy. I know I'm doing something right when the Fox news crowd is all just bitching at me like crazy. Like I'm loving it. Or Elon Musk was crying last week. Tim is being mean to me, Bays, you know? Like, yeah. But I think every time they do a press conference, I've been saying this, we need a shadow government of somebody out there to punch back at him, to punch back. I love Tim Walls unleashed. I don't know where this man was.

Why did the, it feels like the campaign kind of made him, um, uh, minimize himself in order to have that spot. And I don't know if it was the best idea because Tim Walls has really good instincts. Do you know Tim Walls is the reason why weird became part of the lexicon and attack in Republicans? Tim Walls came up with that. It's one of the reasons why he was selected. And then it felt like the campaign, I don't know if it was Kamal Harris, but it felt like the campaign itself really tried to minimize him and suppress him and keep him from doing this, which is. She's so good at. And then here's Elon Musk complaining about Tim Walls being a, quote, huge jerk.

Does that help Tesla? I mean, you had Tim Walts, who's a huge jerk, you know, running around on stage with a Tesla stock price, having, where the stock price had gone in half. And he was overjoyed. What an evil thing to do. What a creep, what a jerk. Anyways, it's really funny to me that Elon Musk is so, gets so upset when people attack him, when this is, this is how Elon Musk choose other people. If somebody's going to try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go fuck yourself.

Go fuck yourself. Yeah, that's Elon Musk. And I'm going to end with this. A poetic takedown of Elon Musk. and may it be long and glorious. Elon Musk is going to burn America to the ground

because nobody thought he was funny. Yeah, because nobody laughed. And because he needed surgeries to look handsome adjacent if you're not wearing your glasses and it's foggy. You know how many surgeries he's had to look like a five? This guy, he's going to ruin democracy

because he was born a three and then he put millions of dollars into becoming a five. He's a born three. with with dreams and delusions of being an eight he doesn't he knows deep down he knows deep down he's not getting to 10 so we've got a born three dreaming of eight landing at five he's got an army of twos that we're calling doge and now we don't get to have democracy anymore because the right girls didn't want to sleep with him right
