I was thinking, you know who could solve the Medicare medicine crisis in this country? You know who could perhaps make it so health care in this country is an abysmal? Not only is it inexpensive? Perhaps works for everyone? Gets everyone covered? You know who that could be? President Don Lemon? President Don Lemon, have you heard about this?

Don Lemon says there's a 65 to 70% chance. He's running for president. You let me know in the chat what you think about that. Let's just watch this. I haven't actually watched this. Let's just watch it. You have told some news outlets that you might run for president. How real is that?

Look, I never say never. It is, look, I've got a lot on my plate right now doing what I'm doing. This is not easy to do every day, but I have to be. I am very aware of the importance of what I'm doing. Someone wrote in the chat on Twitch, nine inch toenails goes lemon care. I kind of like that. What it means to the culture and society. I shouldn't say very, sometimes I'm too close to it.

But when I'm out there, people like, thank you for what you're doing. And so it's very humbling. But when I'm out there, they're not only saying thank you for what I'm doing. they say, would you ever consider running for office? And I say, well, you know, I thought about it. And this, would you ever run for president? And I said, oh, well, definitely I think I could be a better president than Donald Trump. So that's where that came from. How serious is it? If the people want me, I'll do it. But it is a, it is a daunting undertaking to run for president in this country because you'd have to be devoted to it full time. And I would like to devote much of my time to journalism. But if that's the

best way for me to help the American people, then sure, I'll do it. And maybe, you know, maybe I can do them at the same time. And maybe that, maybe that's a way of running that has not been, um, mind. Let me try and get a headline out of you. What percentage chance before you leave this earth do you think you will run for president? Oh, what percentage chance that I think I'll run? 6570. Wow. 65, 70. More than half that you will run for president. president of the United States. Wow. Okay. All right. Sure. When I'm out there, I out there and I cover the candidates and I look at what they do and, and, um, and, uh, they're very good. I mean, they're very good. Uh, there are many very good

people who are running and they're great with the people. And I often find that when I'm out there with them, the people are also talking to me in similar ways as they're talking to them. Um, and so it just sort of, um, you know, it, it makes me wonder. if my best way of being and operating in this society, whether it is through journalism or if it is through becoming the president of the United States. I'm sorry. I don't mean to laugh, but... Come on.

Come on. I mean, I saw some positive... I saw some positive comments about this in the chat. I think, I don't think he's serious about this and that like I don't think he thinks he's going to be president in two years. I think this is very smart of him to be doing this to just keep himself in the news. I mean, it's literally what Donald Trump did in 2014, 20, like playing with this. Am I, am I going to? Am I not going to?

But like, I kind of feel like, in telling him I'm wrong, it just feels like, Can we not? Do we not have qualified people who have at least served in city council? I don't know. Come on. I just feel I like Don. Don brought this up to me when he interviewed me last spring. He was like, should I run for president? I was like, ha ha ha. Like I thought he was joking. He was being serious. I don't know. I think it'd be different if it was like running for Senate. or running for Congress but I think

I think I personally how I feel about this is this type of I just feel like this is beneath Don Lemon that's kind of how I feel like it's it

I feel like it kind of puts him in like it's just very it's very unsurious running for president to very serious thing. I think joking or teasing that you're going to run for president when your experiences

as a newscaster slash live streamer at a time when things are very serious and complicated. When we have just, when we're experiencing what it is like to have a very unsurious person

be the president. I don't know. If Don Lemon wants to be a politician, that's great. But just like, I don't know, start smaller. That's kind of how I feel about it. I don't know if that's a hot take or not. I don't think it's a hot take to be like, hey, I want someone qualified to be our president

or to at least run to be our nominee. So, Keith, you think some pros. I actually kind of like that there's fewer people watching. We can read all the chat. It's nice. Wow. Keith, no one else joined. Stop joining.

Do I think of my mom donnie type figure could? Yeah, I do. You know, I will say this, though. I'm going to, I am going to contradict myself. Are you ready? I'm going to contradict myself. I wouldn't mind if John Stewart ran. That's a contradiction.

I just fucking contradicted myself. Clip it. but I know y'all I know you all wouldn't mind John Stewart running right right why is that

why is that someone's going to say it's because of race I know someone's gonna be because you're racist that's why no it's not it's not we've been amping up so many candidates of color

Here's the thing. Do I want John, would John Stewart, the chat's lighting up now. Would John, do I think John Stewart, what I, do I want John Stewart to be president? I don't know. I actually don't know. I don't have a yes or no. Would I like John Stewart to run for president? Yes, I would.

I would. I think John Stewart being on the debate stage would only help either find the best candidate or make the other candidates better. I like that. I wasn't even planning on saying that.
