Just did it.
Finders full of women.
Goats milk latte drinking.
Here you go again.
Please clap.
Somebody's bleak blind, bad-built,
butch body.
A what now?
And then we're going to Washington, D.C.
to take back the White House.
Yeah!
Where about that having to be there?
That's a banana republic.
Without the banana.
Who am I?
Why am I here?
Are you a racist?
He's a jackass.
Pokemon go to the polls.
They know one thing.
I hate rats.
Well, I'm not a crook.
I grew up castrating hogs.
For glorious years, I guess.
Vote to confirm a ham sandwich.
Ooh, don't do it.
Still like beer.
20-foot impressive seahorse.
He's riding.
Wrecked.
It's too damn hot.
You can't.
You can't.
I have the ability to turn people on.
Session down there and vote for this amendment.
Officially weird.
For one in years the next, are the same?
YouTube, welcome to the Keith Edwards Show live.
We got more than 350 people here.
Ready on a Friday night.
Thank you so much for joining.
Let's get some blue hearts in the chat.
I want to get some love up in the air.
Let's get the energy up because we got a special show for you today.
We have a rep Rokana.
We have a member of Congress coming on the channel.
Are you kidding me?
Very exciting.
What's going on?
Hey, Peter, good to see you, Ari's.
Good to see you. Tony Hall, so grateful that you're here. And I got to tell you, I am, I'm fine now.
I'm fine now. But I understand a little bit why they wanted to, why they want to like destroy the government.
Because I had to spend eight hours, not eight hours, maybe it was like three hours at the DMV,
trying to get a license switched over to DC. I had not.
been to the DMV in like years, thankfully, but they ended up after three hours of being there.
They're like, sorry, we can't transfer of your ID because there's something wrong with it.
You have to call the DMV in New York.
It's like, isn't it?
Shouldn't it be your job?
Should that be your job?
Oh my gosh.
All right.
So thank you all for being here.
I'm really excited about the show we have today.
We have, like I said, Rep Roe-Conna.
And by the way, if you have questions for Rep Roe-Kana,
Put him in the chat.
Hussein, producer Hussein, is going to do the best he can to try to get them,
get them like locked out so we can ask them.
Also, yeah, I think that's all we got for right now.
Let's just like, let me tell you what the show is going to be like today.
So we have Elon Musk is potentially getting criminal charges for his million dollar scheme,
trying to buy the Supreme, the state Supreme Court election,
in Wisconsin, we have a MAGA, who's likely going to be running as governor of Virginia,
making fun of unemployed people.
I've got that clip for you.
And then we also have the reproicana.
But let's get right into this main story with Elon Musk.
Okay, so you might not have seen this, but Elon Musk said that he's going to go to Wisconsin,
and we can kill the music Hussein.
Elon Musk said that we are going to,
he said on Sunday night, I will give a talk in Wisconsin.
Entrance is limited to those who have voted
to the Supreme Court election.
I will also personally hand over two checks
for a million dollars,
each appreciation for you taking the time to vote.
This is super important.
And this is illegal.
Point blank, illegal.
I think the theme of the show today is like,
are there laws anymore?
I hope so.
It seems like federally there isn't.
But this is super illegal.
And I personally believe, I don't understand how the Republicans are the party of the people
when they have billionaires putting millions of dollars into state Supreme Court elections
just so they can get a win.
Feels to me counterproductive if that's what they're about.
But Ben Wickler, who is the party chair in Wisconsin, wrote this scathing, absolutely scathing statement.
I'm not going to read all of it, but I do want to read my favorite part, which is Elon Musk should be brought to justice for his illegal attempt to buy votes for Brad Skimmel.
And Brad Skimel, am I saying that right?
Who's saying Brad Skimmel should immediately condemn Musk crimes and disavow his continued involvement.
in his campaign. If Schimmel or Schimel, Chimel does not immediately call in must to end this criminal
activity, we can assume he is complicit. Now, I don't believe that Brad has done that, but you know what
did happen? I love this. The Wisconsin State Attorney General Josh Call is taking legal action.
This is Harry Dunn here reporting. And he says, quote,
the Wisconsin Department of Justice is committed to ensuring that elections in Wisconsin are safe,
secure, free and fair. We are aware of the offer recently posted by Elon Musk to award a million
to two people at an event in Wisconsin this weekend. Based on our understanding of applicable Wisconsin law,
we intend to take a legal action today to seek a court order to stop this from happening.
And back to this first story, why this is incredible, because Elon Musk and Donald Trump,
are not ones to admit defeat.
But you know what he did?
Elon Musk deleted that fucking tweet.
Elon Musk deletes post about another lottery scheme to buy election.
So don't let them say that we can't,
if we don't get loud or we don't use the tools at our hand,
that we can't make shit happen.
Because this is a big deal that he's backing off from this.
And I'm glad because this is such a big problem.
What is Penny say?
Penny says, charge Musk for criminal conduct of trying to buy votes and put Musk in jail,
ban Elon Musk from ever entering Wisconsin. Yeah, I mean, they should deport him. You know what's
really, and then we're going to move on to the next one. What's, what is that? ironic? I don't
mean that's the right word. Donald Trump and Elon Musk use the system of laws that we have to prevent
justice from from happening. Donald Trump delayed every single court appearance. He never went to trial
for the January 6th criminal actions he took. And yet we have folks who they are deporting
with no due process. And yet they are, because they were afforded due process, they skirted the law.
It seems a little effed up to me. All right, let's move on to the next one. We have a
clip from a Florida State rep who really got to a MAGA Republican,
we really just showed like the, what is it, hypocrisy of the MAGA Republicans.
Let's watch this.
Flag or Black Lives, Maga Flag, you think these are political viewpoints.
You follow the same sentiments.
Yes, sir.
Can you please expound on that if possible?
Well, they're political because they exclude members that are not part of those organizations.
For example, you mentioned Black Lives Matter.
they actually have on, you know, their viewpoints include the idea that they want to destroy the
nuclear family that's on their website. So the LGBT flag promotes a specific viewpoint that
there should be special rights for LGBT people, which is a political view. Special rights or equal rights?
No, no, special rights. Special rights. So no, no, we believe in equal rights. We don't believe in
special rights. You don't believe in special rights. Correct. Okay, and your organization is?
The Christian Family Coalition.
All right, so with the Christian Family Coalition, as it pertains to the political viewpoint,
if someone was to put up a flag, I remember when I was in school, there was a flag with the cross at the top of it.
It used to be right under the American flag.
You wouldn't approve of that, would you?
Well, I mean, the current, there's a Supreme Court case right now that...
No, no, I want to know.
When I was in school, there was the American flag, and there was the Christian flag right under it.
You won't agree with that, would you?
You won't, you won't, you won't that flag down.
The Christian flag is not a political flag.
It is a religious flag.
So that's a group of people, right?
It's it's it basically, it honors God.
So we, we would not oppose a Christian flag.
The same thing is the, um, I think that's good.
That's good.
We got the point.
It goes on.
But isn't that just so funny?
Like, these Christian fundamentalists and MAGA are like, we want, uh, folks to be,
we don't want anyone to get.
special treatment.
But, listen, I'm all for religious freedom.
I'm all for religious freedom.
But your right to practice your religion should not infringe on my right to exist, period.
And so I don't understand what it is about Christians who they want to,
they want to enforce their worldview on other people.
As a gay man, I am not like, that's my mom, by the way.
Good job, Hussein.
That's my mom.
I am not, I'm a gay man.
I do not want, you know, listen, I love other day people,
but I am not trying to turn anyone else gay.
It feels like Christians are trying to enforce thorough worldview on everyone else.
When equality is, quote, special treatment.
Yeah, I know.
That's that too.
Equality is special treatments.
So, sorry, we got to go on.
All right, move on in the next clip.
So we have, all right, and then the Virginia lieutenant governor.
Well, let's play the clip.
Let's play the clip because she showed her all ass.
And it's just, it's a behind the scenes audio, elite audio, of her making fun of
unemployed people.
I'm not, that's not an exaggeration.
Let's play the clip.
I'm hearing about those and all of that.
And yes, we don't want.
to lose their jobs. We have over 250,000 jobs that we've created since we've been in office.
So if you've lost your job and how many here has ever lost a job?
Oh, you mean it's not unusual? It happens to everybody all the time? Okay. And the media is
making it out to be this huge, huge thing. And I don't understand why.
All right.
She doesn't understand why.
She doesn't understand why it's a big deal that thousands of people are losing their jobs.
Now, Virginia, just so you all have context, Virginia is a state that is bordering D.C.
And so there are so many federal employees who are employed by the government.
That's why they're federal employees, obviously.
But it's so these are the types of people.
who she needs to win over their vote for in the election.
And it's truly spitting in their face when she's saying,
I don't think, I don't understand why this is such a big deal.
But it's because people in your state are getting mass unemployment.
It's a huge deal.
And this came out earlier today.
Lieutenant Governor Winston Earl Sears says,
when I'm lieutenant governor access to good paying jobs will be a top priority well not really right
not really someone says here not all jobs the same lady playing talking to us like two year old
is going to piss us off lady yes i agree this is um so upsetting but it's also just seeing behind
the veneer of this that republicans really do
not like their voters at all.
They don't like their voters.
They, she won't get that far on the election.
I think she's going to actually get the nomination.
So this is going to be the candidate for the Republican side for Virginia.
And so this is something that we need to, this is definitely something that we need to keep watching and we need to stay on.
because when it comes to the Virginia election,
what's happening in the federal government
is such a big deal.
It is such a big deal.
The fact that they're cutting thousands of jobs
and they don't care,
and it's a Republican administration doing it,
and loving it is going to hopefully make it
so that folks wake up and see that there's only one party
who's interested in middle-class people,
and that is a Democratic party.
So we have, all right, so here's the next, here's here, so we have, it's becoming a theme here on the show.
We have what's called tomato time.
So let's go to tomato time where we invite you.
Now, we don't want you to throw tomatoes at politicians in real life.
We do not support that, but we can do it on the internet.
So smash the tomato emoji on this next clip, and it's cathartic, it feels good, and it helps Donald Trump get his vegetables.
I want to say, first of all, happy women's month.
You do so much for women by, first of all, keeping men out of women's sports, and you've
platformed so many...
That was an easy one.
It was amazing.
You've platformed so many great women, like your chief of staff, Susie Wiles.
You also have Caroline Lovett doing a great job as press secretary.
Now Alina, it will be joining as well.
Since Democrats seem to struggle answering this question, I want to ask you, what is a woman and why is it important that we understand the difference between men and women?
Well, it's sort of easy to answer for me because...
for me because a woman is somebody that can have a baby under certain circumstances.
She can, she has a quality.
A woman is a person who's much smarter than a man I've always found.
A woman is a person that doesn't give a man even a chance of success.
And a woman's a person that in many cases has been treated very badly.
I mean, it is cathartic throwing the tomatoes, but man.
All right.
I'm very excited about this guest.
The first member of Congress to be on the live Keith Edwards show,
so we're very excited to have when we have Reprocona.
Rep. Ropcona, very excited to have you on.
Thank you. Thanks for having me.
You're like standing up.
I'm standing up.
I get back at the district of moving around, and I said,
they told me this is the time I got to do your show,
and I appreciate it.
I appreciate all that you're doing.
So I wanted to be able to get to a Zoom and be able to do it.
Awesome. Great. Well, so glad that you're here. I have a couple of questions.
Just talk to the tomato time on a clip of mine. That's my own result.
We reserve it for Republicans for now, but you never know. You never know.
Also, I'm not sure if you saw this, but the Hoc to a girl,
for those who don't know, the Hoc2O girl basically is a podcaster, and she
scammed her audience.
And the SEC is not investigating that.
And on top of that, Donald Trump has just pardoned Trevor Milton, the founder of a bankrupt truckmaker,
and the donor was convicted by a federal jury in 2022, and he was convicted.
and he was sent to prison for four years and a million dollar fine and it was just pardoned.
And I guess my question for you, Congressman, is like, are we just in a lawless,
are we just in a lawless time now?
Or what, like, what is going on?
Well, it's worse than just not having to rule of law.
What you have is a whole unholy alliance between wealth and power.
You literally have the richest people in the world, people like Elon Musk, who pay
$250 million to get Donald Trump elected, then being handed the reins of government.
I mean, Trump has basically just said, you know, who's going to govern for me are these
headstrong libertarian billionaires, and they're dismantling government.
They're dismantling Social Security.
They're dismantling Medicaid.
They're dismantling Medicare.
They're pardoning people who have committed crimes if they have the right financial interests.
I mean, it's a total takeover by the rich elite to further rig the country against working
middle-class Americans.
And, you know, it should be a layup for Democrats right now.
We should be saying this is the exact thing that we have been saying is going on.
And they're making it so obvious this is the time to rise up and to have a real populist movement.
Yeah.
I mean, I don't understand how the Republicans have any form of a populist movement when they are
engaging in stuff.
like they're cutting middle class jobs.
That's what the federal government essentially is, middle class jobs.
And they are defending their billionaire buddies.
What can Democrats do to help?
Because I don't think working people, working class people, I'm from a working class family.
I don't have a college degree.
And I'm from McCombie County where it famously flipped in 2016 from blue to red.
And I saw this happening much sooner than anyone else.
But how can we make it so that middle class people and working class
people and people without college degrees know that it's actually the Democratic Party who wants
to help them. Yeah, well, first of all, we're being a little bit helped out in that they're
exposing themselves, right? I mean, they have Donald Trump basically saying, yeah, there may be a
recession, no big deal. Howard Lucknick can say, who cares if you don't get your social security
check for a month? My mother-in-law isn't going to notice. And then the clip you played about
in Virginia then saying, well, you know, so why the federal workers are being fired?
The reason they connected in a populist way is they said, well, we sort of are going to connect
on the culture of guns and we're going to connect on cultural issues.
But no one thought that they were actually going to take away people's Medicare, take
away Social Security.
And so there's an opening for the Democrats.
But the Democrats have to recognize that for the last 40, 50 years, we've made mistakes.
I mean, McComb County, we saw manufacturing offshore.
And we allowed corporate greed to send jobs to.
to the places with the least environmental standards
and the cheapest labor.
And we watched as wealth piled up in my district
in Silicon Valley and we lost steel,
we lost auto making, we lost aluminum,
we lost shipbuilding.
And what we gotta say is, okay, we learned the lesson.
Now we have an actual vision to rebuild advanced manufacturing,
to build new good paying jobs in these communities,
to raise the wage, to give workers some stock
and ownership in an economy where technology
is gonna create a lot of the benefits.
value and it shouldn't all go to the capital class.
And we've got a real economic vision.
I call it economic patriotism for the working in middle class,
not the same old stuff that didn't work for 50 years.
So I think the Democrats have a chance now to rebuild the trust that we lost because
we presided over bad trade deals and offshore rate.
Yeah.
And I want to focus on Social Security because Jesse Perez, who's watching the show,
asks, I want to ask Roe if my Social Security is safe.
I usually get my disability check right before.
the end of the month, but my day is the third to get it, and I didn't get it today.
What's going on? What's going on? I don't want to fear monger. I mean, most people are still
going to have been getting their social security checks, but Jesse, look, the problem is that
when you're firing as Elon is, a number of these social security workers in your closing offices,
that's going to create problems. And some people haven't been able to sign up for disability benefits
or death benefits at their widows. Some people have not been able to sign up for new social
security and we are hearing some people who haven't gotten a check because the staff that they're
using has been fired. I mean, they're going after a program that had less than 1% fraud. It's one of
the best programs. Is that right? That's crazy. One percent? Less than 1%. And it has and it has
95% of positive surveys. This is not, you want to cut fraud? Go after the defense contractors. Go after the
fossil fuel subsidies, go after Medicare advantage, which is billing people, billing the government
for much higher rates than the population deserves. But don't go after Social Security. So what I can say
to you is go to your member of Congress. If they don't respond, come to our office. We can try to
help. But this is the richest person in the world who got Donald Trump elected dismantling government.
That is what is going on. It's insane to me. It's insane. But what's not insane,
Or maybe it is insane.
I'm not sure why you're going to Ohio, but you are.
I read in the New York Times yesterday that Rep.
Rokana, the congressman from California, is going to, quote,
he's speaking in several, a speaking tour of several cities in Ohio.
And when everyone else is going after Trump and Musk, you're going after Vance.
So what's that about?
I've been to Ohio many times.
My wife's from there.
My family's there.
but I've also gone in the past to places like Lordstown, like Astridula County, that we're deindustrialized to talk about how we need to build new steel plants, how we need to build new advanced manufacturing.
And I'm going there because J.D. Vance talks a good game about wanting to build manufacturing and help the working class, but their policies have basically led to declining consumer confidence, the worst in 12 years, higher inflation, a slowing economy.
You can't do everything in rebuilding tractors just for tariff policy.
You need investment, and they're gutting the investment that President Biden had.
They're handing the keys to billionaires to go make deals with UAE,
but that money is going to come and not go to Youngstown or Lourdesdown.
That's going to help places like New York and Silicon Valley,
and the billionaires get wealthier.
And what I'm saying is we need to have a bottoms up actual approach
of rebuilding this country in these communities
with federal investment and partnership with local communities.
We need to contrast with J.D. Vance in Ohio, and I'm going up to Yale School where he went,
where I went, to talk about how danger it is that he's saying to disobey the Supreme Court.
He literally saying to have the court rule, they can't enforce it.
85% of Americans, including Republicans, think that's dangerous.
Now, why go after Vance?
Because he's the one who's giving the intellectual arguments for the future of Trumpism.
Who knows how long Musk is going to be there.
Trump's a lane.
And Vance is out there saying this is actually a movement that has a future.
We need to call them out on it.
And we need to expose how hollow it is.
Well, I'm glad of doing it because I'm also glad it's in a red state because I don't think we should just give up on quote-unquote red states.
We have to go everywhere.
We have to be everywhere.
We have to be giving our message.
My last question for you and I know you got to go is should Chuck Schumer step down from leadership?
The old guard needs to go.
I believe that we need to have a new generation.
I believe we need a new generation running.
He totally fumbled the ball in giving the Republicans that vote.
Yeah, it's up to the Senate, ultimately, who they choose.
But I can just tell you that there's a lot of frustration.
I've been having town halls across the state of California,
and people are upset.
And hopefully he sees what is obvious that he served with distinction.
He was first elected in 1974 before I was born.
You know, it's kind of have a new generation takeover.
Well, I'm grateful you're part of that new generation. Thank you so much for coming on the show. It means the world. I hope we can have you back.
I'd love to. Thanks for your voice. You've been great. You've been fighting out there. I really appreciate what you're doing. Thank you, Rep. Thank you. Good to see.
Huh. There you go. That was cool. The first member of Congress on the Keith Edwards Live show, I hope you all liked it. If you like that, why don't you span some blue hearts? Because I think that was really great. I've been, you know, it's so important.
that we have democrats in red states i love that he's doing that um i love that he's for a new
generation of leadership which we desperately need and uh you know hopefully we will we will be doing
more of these i believe on tuesday we're going to have rep richie torres now i did not throw up
this number but let's throw up the number hussein this is the voicemail number you know you can
call into the show it's 202 810 4379 212 880 4379 212 880
8104379 is the number that you call.
If you want to leave a voicemail, if a question, comment, concern, 202, 810, 479.
We've got a couple of voicemails to go through.
So let's hear one right now.
Hi, Keith.
My name is Tom.
I'm from the Seattle area, Pacific Northwest.
I don't really so much as have a question.
I just want to thank you for all you do.
Your show is wonderful.
And I appreciate all that you bring to light.
and I like your style.
I'm sorry you're going through a breakup right now.
And just carry on and life will be good.
And I just really appreciate you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Bye-bye.
Okay.
Well, thank you very much, Tom.
I mean, that made me emotional.
This is, you know, it's, it's, this is a, this is, this is not easy to do, but it's worth doing.
and when you guys write comments like that and you're like email me or when you call
it means the world i don't want to make this about me though so let's move on to the next
voicemail yes keith is single keith is officially single
i'm single and i'm not mingling i'm not but let's go to the next voice this is uh lori
at women's top 20 is my handle on youtube i am hopeless
It's just hopeless for America and want your thoughts on if there's ever an election again and a Democrat in the presidential office again.
How do we put all this back together again? What comes to mind is a shattered V. And how do we put it back together again?
assuming and that's a big assumption that we ever have the opportunity to do it again.
Okay.
Thanks so much.
I love what you do.
I'd love to hear your input.
Thanks.
Okay.
So this, I think that's a legitimate question.
Thank you, thank you, Lori, for calling in.
And first off, do not be hopeless.
Do not be hopeless.
That is how authoritarian's win.
You cannot be hopeless.
It is so important that not only you believe, you know that things can be better.
This is very dark right now.
They're locking up people for their political speech warrantless.
And that's awful.
And I think it's just the beginning.
But if we do not believe that it can be better than how it is today, then we are manifesting a worse world.
And so I want to just impose on you that it can happen.
We can win.
and for me, you know, I know everyone made fun of the Elise Stefanik news as well as we should.
But to me, what that also said, that Elise Seponic cannot become the UN ambassador is because they have to follow elections.
And they were worried about losing an election.
So they're still operating within the guard lines of our democracy.
I think they're coloring outside of lines with Elon Musk.
Musk and the million dollar giveaway, but we can win and we will rebuild. And it could be better
than ever. We can, it could be better than ever. Let's see what happens with this Wisconsin seat,
the Wisconsin state Supreme Court seat, which is on April 1st. If you're in Wisconsin, you vote on
April 1st. Okay. And then I'm going to end with this is we have, there is going to be
a march all across the world, not the world, country.
There's going to be March all across the country.
Hands off April 5th.
I'm going to be live streaming there here in D.C.
You can go to handsoff.
Handsoff 2025.com.
Handsoff 2025.com.
One more time, handsoff 2025.com to find your local protest.
And so let's rise up.
Don't be hopeless.
Don't be hopeless.
Let's get engaged.
Let's get action.
Okay.
And Cheryl says,
I think the GOP prays in our fear.
We will rebuild this country.
It becomes so much of ours.
Yes.
Yes, Cheryl, that is the energy girl.
Yes.
We are going to be righteously indignation or have righteous indignation around what's
happening.
We're going to be righteously indignant.
So thank you all so much for watching for the Keith Edwards show live number three.
This is the best one yet.
Thank you for being here.
I will see you on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Tuesday at 7 p.m.
We're on Tuesdays and Fridays, Tuesdays and Fridays, 7 p.m.
I hope to see you there.
We're going to have Ritchie Torres.
We're going to ask you your questions.
We're going to go through the news of the day.
And then hopefully give us your voicemail.
Let's get the voicemail number up one more time.
202-20-4379.
Leave your voicemails.
And we will see you next time.
Thank you so much for watching.
Bye, everyone.
Thank you.
