The Keith Edwards Show - Elon Musk Going To Court for Election Stealing Scheme

Episode Date: August 29, 2025

Keith Edwards discusses a federal judge’s decision to let proceed a class‑action lawsuit claiming Elon Musk and his America PAC misled voters with a $1 million‑a‑day “lottery” tied to ...signing a petition. Claimants allege the giveaway was deceptive and served to harvest personal data, not genuinely award prizes. He explains that Judge Robert Pitman found it plausible voters believed they had a real chance to win, based on language like “awarding” and “winning,” despite Musk arguing winners were hand‑picked spokespeople—not lottery recipients

Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, Elon Musk has gotten some pretty bad news, and it's all because of what happened here. Do you remember when this happened? Yeah, Elon Musk gave a million dollars to a voter, and I think it's one of the signs of corruption of our electoral system that this was possible. I'm not sure what Elon Musk did to the election, but if you want to say that he stole the election, I think one way you could say he sold the election is by trying to buy votes. The only problem is Elon Musk didn't buy votes. He stole votes because these suckers never got a cent from Elon Musk.
Starting point is 00:00:54 And guess what? Now he's being sued by them. Sued. Yes. And this is a continuation of Elon Musk making big promises and never delivering. We're going to get into all of that, including the lawsuit. I just want to say the Wired has been doing some incredible reporting around. Elon Musk and they have not let up.
Starting point is 00:01:14 They have literally listed all of the broken promises Elon Musk has failed to deliver on. I'm going to go through some of them right in here where Elon Musk said that he would start driverless cars in 2013. In 2013.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Now, I think you got to make, I do think you got to like shoot for the stars and be happy if you land in the clouds for sure. But it is a continuing problem. that this man makes big promises that truly never happened. He said in 2015 that full of tonus driving would happen in about three years. It is 10 years later, baby. It has not happened at all.
Starting point is 00:01:56 In 2016, he said there'd be autonomous charging, meaning that as you drive, you'd be able to charge a car. It hasn't happened. Just switching gears for a moment, because I have an important update. If you're older than 64, I just want to say that I know that there are a lot of agents out there pushing Medicare Advantage plans even when they don't meet your needs. And they do this because they're paid more to sell these plans. But that's why I'm proud to work with Chapter. They take the time to explain the pros and the cons of all your Medicare options, original Medicare, Medicare, supplement, Medicare Advantage, and Part D. With honest and personalized recommendations, Chapter helps you understand how the different options fit your needs.
Starting point is 00:02:42 And they help people find an average savings of $1,100 a year. So if you're on Medicare or turning 65, talk to Chapter to shop every plan and see if you can save. Call them at 948-228-0-980 to make sure your Medicare coverage is right for you. He also, of course, promised he was going to strip the federal government. of $2 trillion, but Musk left the U.S. government, as we all know, famously, creating what is probably the biggest scandal in Donald Trump's presidency in any of them, saying that Donald Trump is connected to Epstein.
Starting point is 00:03:26 But Musk went in there saying that he was going to slash spending by $2 trillion, and he left it a mere $1.86 trillion short of the target by his own estimations. It's probably even much shorter than that. that. Meanwhile, the president's new tax bill added $2.3 trillion to the deficit, really negating anything that Elon Musk did. Now, what's funny is that though Elon Musk didn't slash the federal government spending, he did take a chainsaw to his own reputation because I don't know about you, but I used to at least respect Elon Musk prior to all this. I think, though he had to, has made a lot of big promises. He's also one of the reasons why electric cars are where they
Starting point is 00:04:16 are today and that it could very well be than in the next 10 years. Internal combustion engines finally stop getting made. So he has done some great things, but it's all negated by the fact that he supported someone who has actively tried to destroy our country and also got rid of the EV credit. So he actually hurt himself too in the process. Now, he's also hurting himself because Elon Musk is now facing a lawsuit over what is being called a phony election sweepstakes. Here we go. Elon Musk is facing a lawsuit accusing him of defrauding voters with his shady pre-2020 election lottery in which the billionaire dangled a chance for a million dollar payday over voters who signed a pro-constitution petition by his America PAC. He said at the time,
Starting point is 00:05:06 And we're going to be awarding one million randomly to people who have signed the petition every day from now until the election. So America PAC, so they made it seem like a lottery. But what actually happened was that the million dollar recipients weren't chosen randomly. They were chosen based on their personal stories. So there was like a selection process. And the article goes on to say here that this woman from Arizona, Jacqueline McAfrii, signed the petition on Election Day,
Starting point is 00:05:37 proposed a class action lawsuit claiming that Musk and America PAC had defrauded voters. Musk McCafferty said induced voters with false statements to sign the petition and submit personal private information in the process. Musk has tried to get the case dismissed
Starting point is 00:05:51 insisting that people who signed up for the chance to win a million dollars weren't harmed by sharing their personal information and were told, despite his apparent statements to the contrary that America PAC staffers would review their cases rather than leave their selection up to chance. But on Wednesday, a federal judge in Texas ordered must to face the lawsuit.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Quote, from the judge that is plausible that plaintiff justifiably relied on those statements to believe that defendants were objectively offering her the chance to enter a random lottery, even if that is not what they subjectively intended to do. One law professor said, quote, you cannot lawfully lie to the public about conducting a random sweepstap's lottery or condes and then rigged the results to hand-select the winners. It is really not complicated. This is just fraud, a simply ugly fraud on the public.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Ooh. And what happens next is that this is going to go into discovery now. I just want to point out to that Elon Musk, while this is all happening, started a bogus lawsuit against Apple because his stupid AI company isn't high enough on the charts. Here's a little bit of that. Musk's AI startup XAI has sued Apple and Open AI, accusing them of an anti-competitive scheme. to crush AI competition. The lawsuit claims Apple unfairly favors open AIs chat GPD in phone app rankings blocking Musk's GROC chatbot. No, it's because chat GBC is good and GROC sucks.
Starting point is 00:07:20 Plain as simple as that, it's really capitalism at work. But people like Musk and Trump don't really care about the rules, they just care about enforcing what they think should be true. It's insane. We're gonna follow this story for sure. So please do hit subscribe. Please do hit like because we need to make sure that stuff like this doesn't go unnoticed. There's a lot of news happening right now.
Starting point is 00:07:44 And Elon Musk has kind of sort of fallen from the narrative, which is great. But he still hurt a lot of people and he still has a lot of power. So we have to make sure we follow this. So please do follow along. If you like this video, please hit like. If you are not subscribed, please consider subscribing. I'll see you next time.
