Elon Musk, in an interview today, was on the brink of tears as he realized that politics is not for him.
I actually think at this moment right here the day before the Wisconsin state Supreme Court race that he put all his political capital into, so much money into, and then lost by such a wide, wide margin for a swing state.
I think that may have been the moment that broke him.
And I think after you see this clip, you'll understand why.
And the reason why Elon Musk is saying that he's over it is because there's a reputation score that just came out.
Now, if you don't know, this reputation score is called the Axios Harris poll.
And it is widely followed gauge of corporate reputation in the U.S., capturing how Americans view companies across seven key traits, including character and trust.
And here's the thing.
Tesla and SpaceX's decline are among the most severe in this ranking.
So corporations like Apple has consistently been in the top 10, sometimes number one,
sometimes number five.
Tesla was actually at, I believe, 21, 21 in 2020.
Can you guess where it is now?
Well, Tesla was in eighth place in 2021, eighth place, ranking of America's 100 most visible
companies, but last year, tumbled to 63rd.
and now is near the very bottom at 95th.
Yes.
It placed dead last in character while placing near bottom in areas like ethics and citizenship.
Six other automakers placed higher with the highest being Toyota.
Toyota at number one or number four.
The lowest being four at number six.
Tesla didn't respond to comment, obviously.
But this just goes to tell you that this is what happens when you get involved with
Trump. Rick Wilson, many, many years ago said everything Trump touches, dies, and that has never
been more true. Look at that. Tesla, down, Twitter, down, SpaceX, down. It's all because
Elon Musk decided to get involved in politics when he just should have just shut his
stupid mouth. This is, look at this. Look at that. That is the vote swing from the general
election in Wisconsin to the shift against Elon Musk when he made the election about him.
Elon Musk was interviewed from CNBC about the Hitler salute on inauguration day, and here's what
he's to say about it.
I try to claim that I was a Nazi because of some random ham gesture at a rally where
all I said was that my heart goes out to you and I was talking about space travel.
And yet, the legacy of media promoted that as though that was a deliberate Nazi gesture.
where in fact every politician, any public speaker who's spoken for any length of time has made the exact same gesture.
And yet there's still people out there.
And I've never harmed a single person.
You know what, Elon, I wasn't even talked to.
Now, you asked for an example.
I was.
I wasn't even going to talk to you about it because, in fact, I do know a number of people who are close to you.
And I called them afterwards and all of them to a person were like, no way, no way.
Of course not.
This.
This is a, is.
what every person who's done public speaking has done before?
This?
I don't think that's true.
I've done public speaking.
I've never done this before.
I know a lot of folks who have never done this.
It was clearly very intentional,
but this is just how the right wing works,
is that they don't want you to see with your eyes
or hear with your ears.
They want you to believe everything that they say,
and they want you to not think reality
is the truth. But that was the one time where it actually broke through that they could not
manipulate themselves or manipulate the people who pay attention to them against what was the
obvious truth. And here's another clip where Elon Musk has asked if it was worth it doing what
he did at Doge, considering how Tesla has fallen.
My question is more about your work at Doge, for example, was that worth it?
You know, to the extent you are now, Elon, you are somewhat divisive figure two years ago,
but now you really are.
I mean, there are people who love you, but there are a lot of people who dislike you,
some of whom were your customers.
And I wonder, was it worth the undertaking at Doge and everything else that you've done
and how it's spoken you've been in terms of the things you believe in
to antagonize so many potential buyers and or users of things like a robotax?
Well, I mean, unfortunately, what I've learned is that legacy media propaganda is very effective
at making people believe things that aren't true.
What would an example of that be?
That I'm a Nazi, for example.
And how many legacy media publications, talk shows, whatever, try to claim that I was a Nazi because of...
No, no one ever claimed.
you're a Nazi. We claimed that you did that gesture as a way to get attention or to cause a
controversy. No one ever said that you're like CNN was not like breaking news. Elon Musk is a
Nazi. No one ever did that. They just reported on the fact that you did a strange ass hand
gesture that is very similar to the one Hitler used to do and you didn't like that people were
actually calling you out for it. And it's one of the reasons why Tim Miller just posted this,
that the cyber truck, if you bought it last year for $110,000,
you are getting offered $54,000 today,
which honestly good, that this car is a monstrosity.
Even if Elon Musk weren't evil,
I would have a strong opinion about anyone who got this car
because it is a must, like seeing that thing on the road,
it does not elicit good feelings.
All right.
And then let's go to this clip where Elon Musk literally announces
that is quitting politics for good.
I think in terms of political spending,
I'm going to do a lot less in the future.
And why is that?
I think I've done enough.
Is it because of blowback?
Well, if I see a reason to do political spending in the future,
do it. I don't currently see a reason.
Awesome. Awesome.
We broke the richest
man in the world. He might still be rich,
but we broke him.
And this makes me very
happy. This is the
free market at work that Elon Musk,
the richest man in the world,
decide that he had to stop
spreading fascism
across the country and the world
because money, as we all thought would be the case, is more important to him than anything else.
And it just goes to show to that he actually doesn't believe in anything that he was fighting for.
Because if he did, he would be willing to take these sacrifices.
As I'm sure you have in your own political engagements, and I have too,
is that when you believe in something with your full heart, then you do anything necessary to make how you
feel like the world should be a reality.
Now, I'm glad that this is the case for Elon Musk, that he's just an attention-starved
horror that just wants to be on everyone's screens and TVs.
And he got that.
And now he has to back off because he was literally like shedding billions and billions and
billions of dollars.
I'm glad that he's stopping because he is an evil, powerful person and rather him be out
of the game than in it.
but it does go to show that he does not believe in the goddamn thing he was fighting for he was just fighting
for his attention and for power and he got both and the thing is attention and power are corrupting
and it corrupted his bank account beautiful i love it thank you so much for watching if you like
