Starting point is 00:00:00 Millennial Tammy Fay Baker, Erica Kirk, is in the news because she has thrown J.D. Vance under the bus. She's being interviewed by the New York Times for some reason. I don't understand what is going on, but there's also something not fully understood between what's going on between J.D. Vance and Erica Kirk. And could there possibly be troubles in that relationship, whatever that relationship may be? Erica Kirk was also asked about the Second Amendment. As you know, Charlie Kirk was assassinated by gun. And Erica Kirk said she still supports the Second Amendment despite that. And here's what she had to say.
Starting point is 00:00:40 She said this. She said, what I'm afraid of is that we are living in a day and age where they think violence is a solution to them not wanting to hear a different point of view. That's not a gun problem. That's a human problem. A deeply human problem. Who is they? Who is they? No Democrat supported what happened to Charlie Kirk.
Starting point is 00:00:58 No, at least no established Democrat. No like no Democratic official for sure. And certainly there were some insane people on the left who celebrated the death of Charlie Kirk. But I don't think they is who killed Charlie Kirk. One insane person did. And we don't even really know what that person's political allegiances were. Probably a nihist. Just wanted to blow up the whole system.
Starting point is 00:01:22 That type of thing. they. It's so irresponsible. And it's also insane to me that truly this, sure, like we have a person problem that I do think, do you think we need to deal with? That there seems to be a strain of young white males who seem to reach to violence instead of solving problems in their own lives. That is something that we do need to deal with. I don't know how the Republican Party is set up to deal with that problem. But it's also true that if not for the fact that he could have such easy access to guns, this never would have happened. It wouldn't have happened. That is true. He could still have been a deranged individual. Charlie Kirk would still be alive today, if not for
Starting point is 00:02:03 the easy access we have to guns in this country. But she supports that. Now, this was the hug heard around the world, just showing you that, again, I'll never get out of her insane this was. She has said this about Judy Vance. No one will ever replace my husband. No. But I do. But I do. No, I've replaced my husband, but, but, all right, well, Erica Kirk was asked about J.D. Vance on New York Times deal book Summit. And here's what she had to say. And did something happen? J.D. Vance. Is he, is he, is he, is he the person you, your plan to ultimately support for 2028? He's a dear friend. My husband and him were very good friends. I think you remember when he supported him for Senate. And they had a, a great time. What is she always looking up? Now, I remember, it made sense at the arena
Starting point is 00:03:01 because there were people in the rafters. What the hell is she looking up at? What is she looking up at? I don't get the whole shtick. I don't get it. I don't get it. It's weird. Doing that race together,
Starting point is 00:03:13 and he supported JD for that. I do have to say, yes, I mean, we adore JD, and my husband was very vocal about endorsing him, but I do have to... I would have a tendency as humans to look past. We have very short attention spans and very short memories.
Starting point is 00:03:34 I would ask that we enjoy the fact that, and maybe you don't, but I will enjoy the fact that my husband worked so hard, so hard for this past election. And I think it would be, I think it would behoove us to appreciate that hard work and enjoy the fact that we do have a president in office that we voted for. Does anyone know what she just said there? Like, skilled linguist, she is not. What the hell is that word salad?
Starting point is 00:04:13 Well, I can tell you one thing. This woman is never going to be in office. Actually, you can't say that. It's MAGA. Who knows? They could elect her tomorrow who she ran for Senate and Senate. Texas. They would definitely vote for her. I can't believe I just said that. But yeah, that was, I don't even know what, does anyone speak MAGA? Does anyone know what she just said? I am
Starting point is 00:04:35 befuddled by that response. She's basically saying I love J.D. Vance, but we have a president right now and it would be irresponsible for us to not focus on the good work the president is doing. Let's focus on 2028 and 2028. That's what I would have said. Wow, maybe I should be Erica Kirk. Okay. Now, looking up, what are you looking at, girl? What's you looking at? What's you looking at? Charlie Kirk on up there. He ain't up there. All right. Now, she was also, for some reason, Erica Kirk does not live in New York. But it was, for some reason, the New York Times thought it be important for her to weigh in on the mayors or the mayor in New York City. What do you make of Mamdani here in New York? And the reason I ask is he was somebody who really actually was able to persuade the younger voter. I mean, he really captured, but obviously on the complete opposite end, if you will, of where someone like Charlie would have been. You know, it's so interesting because I lived in Manhattan for a while and I loved this city.
Starting point is 00:05:40 I'm going to come at this from a female voter because a high percentage of his voters were female. I think there's a tendency, especially when you live in a city like Manhattan, where, again, you are so career-driven and you almost look to the government as a form of replacement for certain things, relationship-wise even. So... What? When you're a woman and you're so focused on other things, you look at the government as replacements for relationships? What? I don't need a boyfriend, girl. I don't need a boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:06:29 I got the DMV. I got the DMV, girl. You see things a little bit differently. What I don't want to have happen is women, young women in the city, look to the government as a solution to put off having a family or a marriage. I don't need to get married girl. No, no. No, no. I got a relationship with the Department of Transportation.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Because you're relying on the government to support you instead of being united with the husband where you can support yourself and your husband can support and you can guys all combine together. But I just find it so ironic and so interesting that a heavy percentage of the individuals that voted for him with female. Oh, this girl's not smart. That is not bright. I understand what she's trying to say, I guess. Again, like I'm probably going to say it. better than she did, that women don't feel like they need to get married anymore because the government is supplementing the support a husband would typically give to a woman. That's an insane thing to say, but I think that's what she means. But shouldn't we strive to have a society where women don't need men financially? I mean, of course, I want everyone to be in happy relationships who
Starting point is 00:07:55 wants to be in one, but it shouldn't be a requirement to getting through life, being an impartiality. partnership with someone else. Also, like, there are many different ways to live a fulfilling life, one of which is getting married, having a husband, and having children. That is one way. There are multiple ways. Oprah decided to build a billion-dollar media company, and she seems pretty fucking happen to me. She's got some dogs, and she's happy. She got lots of money. There's not one way to do this. I hate that. I hate that. Stop trying to put your worldview on everyone else. Stop it. Well, if you want more of this, guess what? It's coming to you on CBS.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Well, a programming note to bring you, Erica Kirk, widow to slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, will be on CBS News talking with CBS News editor-in-chief Barry Weiss about the murder of her husband, Charlie Kirk. Erica Kirk will speak about what she sees as rising political violence in the United States, the future of the right, and her faith. It'll be in a one-hour town hall meeting. You can watch that live on CBS. Saturday, December. One hour of Erica Kirk doing that shit, I could not wait. That'll be comedy gold. Oh my God. I just, what is going on in this country?
Starting point is 00:09:07 What is going on in this country? Erica Kirk on CBS talking to Barry We're living in hell. It's hell. Hell does exist and it happens to be here on earth. Side note, Maurice Dubois is leaving CBS. I can see why. And that means that CBS currently has no Eden. news anchors. Could it be any surprise when they're doing shit like that?
Starting point is 00:09:30 All right. Well, I guess, well, I don't know. I think I'll probably watch that and I'll bring you the worst of the best bits. And I will see you soon. Bye.
