And we also have reporting from the Daily Mail that reveals pictures that confirm a lot of the things that were said in a previous leaked audio that Miller released himself. Now, this is an ongoing situation, but I want to just say real fast that Moreno was asked by a reporter, why it took so long for him to release the following statement, where Bernie Marino said,

as a father and husband, I can tell you the last two years have been pure hell for my wife, Bridget, our daughter, Emily, me, and our entire family in the aftermath of Emily's divorce. very telling that Donald Trump, who defends people, defends people. If you are a Republican and if you've been accused of assault, he's more likely to defend you. But a call leaked from Donald Trump to Max Miller that says the following, Trump told Max Miller his candidacy is in trouble. President Trump called Max Miller Monday and expressed doubts about the Ohio Republicans candidacy amid reports he assaulted his ex-wife and their child. Three sources familiar with the call said. On the call, the president told Miller that things aren't looking good and repeatedly said his reelection would be tough, the three sources said.

Now, of course, Max Miller has denied all of this stuff, and we will wait to see how this plays out. But I'm just going to say this. It was such a huge media story that Graham Platner had credible accusations against him. There was no video evidence. There were no audio recordings. None of that stuff. There's photos of Emily with bruises. None of that stuff existed with Graham Platner.

And yet, Democrats came out and did everything they could to force him to resign. One, the media took that story so much more seriously than they are this one. and two, Republicans have absolutely zero appetite to actually rein in awful people and to kick them out of the party. That's the main difference to me between the Democrats and the Republicans. Republicans are okay with this type of behavior, so as long as they win, Democrats are willing to make winning harder, even if it means I'm sorry, Democrats are willing to make winning harder because they'd rather lose with someone good than win with someone bad. I think that's a good quality to have in a party.

And it's one thing that I'm glad Democrats still do is that we are willing to critique our own and no one is too big to be taken down. I wish Republicans would do the same thing. Now, we're going to do everything we can to fight in Maine. We're focused on primaries right now.
