Starting point is 00:00:00 We're getting reporting now that MAGA is wanting Cash Patel fired over the way that he has handled the Charlie Kirk investigation. And it's really no wonder when we see the way that Cash Patel has acted online irresponsibly and also unable to answer simple questions from reporters. And I have reporting too that shows that Cashtapel is really just in over his head. And let us not forget. Let us not forget that FBI director Cash Patel wrote this. The subject for the horrific shooting today that took the life of Charlie Kirk is now in custody. Thank you to local state authorities and you're not making this happen. He's going to provide updates. Well, the update he provided was that the person was released by law enforcement because

Starting point is 00:00:45 after he tweeted that, it turns out it wasn't actually the person responsible. And it says here, you got community noted. Director Patel has since published an update from his official handle that the subject in custody had been released. So he got his ass handed to him. And people are now saying on MAGA, MAGA said that he should be fired. And I'm actually a little like, let's just keep him in there. I'd rather have someone incompetent than someone who is a Trump lackey and also knows what they're doing.

Starting point is 00:01:15 And when asked about this moment, look at how Cash Patel responded. Mr. Patel, did you endanger your public safety when you said the killer was in custody? Mr. Patel, did you misrepresent the investigation? Now, that was Sky News's James Matthews. I wish we had reporters in the country who are like that, but I'm glad whenever we, whenever we feature reporters, foreign reporters on this channel, I'm always a little shocked and surprised that reporters can actually ask tough questions to people who need to give us real answers.

Starting point is 00:01:57 So hats off to James Matthews for going there. And as I said, FBI director Cash Patel is in over his head. Apparently he swore at people over this. FBI director Cash Patel unleashed. Vanity-laced tirade on federal agents as he cracked under the pressure of finding Charlie Kirk's killer. The New York Times reported Thursday that Patel completely lost it during an online meeting with 200 agents involved in the manhunt for the Kirk's killer. One official recounted to the times, I love this, they're leaking, baby, they're leaking. One official recounted to the times that among Patel's most expletive-laden remarks, he warned agents he wouldn't put up with any more Mickey Mouse operations, but it was Patel who turned the investment.

Starting point is 00:02:38 investigation into a farce by congratulating state and federal officials Wednesday for quote, taking the subject for the horrific shooting today into custody, a claim that officials were forced to backtrack hours later, as I just showed you. It was a really big deal that he did that. When I worked in the city council, like I would tweet for the speaker of the city council, whenever something bad happened, like to say I, like for instance, when I was at the city Council, there was the blackout in New York City. And there's a, like, when you're speaking to the public, you have to be very, very sure that what you're saying is accurate, what you're saying can be easily understood. And what you're saying isn't going to confuse people. And what

Starting point is 00:03:24 Cash Patel did in that moment was all three of those things. And it made the operation look like it didn't know what it was doing. And it kind of frankly didn't know what was doing. It's not because it cashed Patel, the FBI, that the alleged killer was caught. It's because the alleged killer confessed to someone. And that person's father turned him in. Not because of the FBI. In fact, the picture that was released wasn't released by the FBI. It was released by state and local authorities. They're the ones who found it. FBI had nothing to do with this. At Thursday's meeting, Patel was furious that it had taken 12 hours from him to see the photograph for the suspected killer and blamed agents in Salt Lake City, where he had fired the head of the FBI field office for unclear reasons just weeks earlier, also berated subordinates. He said hadn't provided him timely information. Patel and his deputy, Dan Pongino, relayed that they were under immense pressure to succeed and prove that they were capable of conducting Manhattan, as it turns out they were not. President Trump claimed on Fox and Friends that the 22-year-old suspect had been apprehended. Former FBI director, Andrew McCabe, criticized Patel's hands-on approach of the search as the director's handling of the case has come under,

Starting point is 00:04:31 increasing scrutiny on Wednesday, Patel was a subject of a major lawsuit against the Department of Justice accusing him of unlawfully ousting any employee that had investigated Trump. Here's the governor of Utah. You know, this bad stuff happens. And for 33 hours, I was, I was praying that if this had to happen here, that it wouldn't be one of us. that somebody drove from another state, somebody came from another country, sadly that that prayer was not answered the way I hope for. Just because I thought it would make it easier on us

Starting point is 00:05:14 if we could just say, hey, we don't do that here. And indeed, Utah is a special place. We leave the nation in charitable giving. We leave the nation in service every year. But it did happen here. Bro, I'm seeing, I mean, he's a Republican, but I can fuck with it. with that kind of Republican.

Starting point is 00:05:33 We gotta get to a place where like, we're more like than we are different. And yeah, we can have policy differences. But I want someone who can, I mean, you can tell. He's like on the brink of tears. Unlike Donald Trump, who doesn't know, has an empathetic bone in his body. Here's Cash Patel looking around.

Starting point is 00:06:24 No, this is what happens when a pastor tells the father of the murderer, alleged murderer, the truth. And turns him in. The father didn't even take the reward money, by the way. We are going to share a portion of a video and that we just completely. incapable of being the person that meets this moment. Now, the reason why the right wants to get rid of him is one because he's incompetent, but two, because he said this. Lastly, to my friend Charlie Kirk, rest now, brother. We have the watch and I'll see you in Valhalla. As Decoding Fox News said here, Valhalla is from Norse mythology. Charlie Kirk was a Christian. Christians

Starting point is 00:07:09 don't think of heaven as Valhalla. A lot of white supremacists tend to co-op terms of images of North mythology. Cash Patel is also not white and was raised in a Hindu family. And Scott Greer, who's a far right conservative, said, cash thinking he's getting into Valhalla. And it's a meme saying, who invited him, bro, thinks he's on the team. Below that are a lot of people just very upset. I think his time is up. I think Cash Patel is going to get fired. I think it's only a matter of time, to be completely honest. There's going to be someone who is going to pay for this. I think it's going to be Cash Patel. I don't know, but that's a good thing. Because I think we need someone incompetent in there.

Starting point is 00:07:46 If we're going to have anyone in there at all that's subservient to Trump, better someone that doesn't know what they're doing than someone who is actually a shark.
