I'm having a stroke. I'm stroking out. This is poor sportsmanship from Jasmine Crockett. We got to call this stuff out because, listen, it's not okay when you are one of the leaders of the Democratic Party. Like, you're not a pundit, okay? She was asked if she thinks James Salarico can turn Texas blue. And she said, I don't know. That's not the answer.

The answer is, yes, absolutely. as long as we all work as hard as possible to make it happen. But like suppressing turnout by saying, I don't know, unacceptable, especially if you're a leader of our party. You're one of the main people. And you're saying, I don't know, then why did you even run? And for yourating. And to see the difference between what's happening in Michigan

versus what's happening in Texas is just mind-boggling. We really could flip it. I still think we can. But it'll unfortunately be without her help. And let's move on to rural Tennessee, where a Trump superstore is going out of business. This is a sign of the times. No one wants shitty Trump merch anymore. Trump, it's happening, everyone.

It's happening out of business sale. Why is it going out of business? Because no one wants to buy it. And why is it anyone I want to buy it? Because Trump is extremely unpopular, except with like the most maga of maga idiots. other than that, he's really losing power and influence. And you love to see it. This is just a, it's like a canary and a coal mine.

And on the opposite end of things, we have Zoran Mamdani. I believe what's happening, what's happening in New York is that people are just tagging him. They're like, hey, there's a pot. There's a pothole here, Mammondani, can you please fix it? The water fountain's not working in this park. And what's happening is like he's actually going and fixing it. Oh, Mom Dani, bro. You need your help, gang. We need you help. We need you help. Look. Like, gang. Why is there a whole hole in the road, gang? That big ass hole. You see all these cracks, gang? And that is another one right there.

All right. So that gentleman tagged the mayor and then literally by the end of the day, it was fixed. I see how the world works, bro. You see how in the morning I said there was two pahos, right? Look what happened after I come back from work. What? Mom, Donnie, I did not know you was like that. I said this shit like, like literally in the morning, that's it gone already. That is like the way you make people start to believe in government again by making it actually work for people. They actually improve their lives. It's a small thing, but it makes a big difference in people's opinions of how government actually works. Like, government itself, especially Congress, I believe is that like the lowest approval ratings ever. I think it's at 18% right now. I think in the 60s it was at 70 to 80%. So we have a lot of work to do, but it starts

by actually doing things that help people. I don't know what's going to take to change that, but change it we must. And it's nice to see at least on the local level, when you do these things, people are like, oh, wow, huh, look that. Wow. The government actually did something to improve my life, the quality of life. Huh. Wow. All right, then speaking of Texas, I'll tell you, what? Enthusiasm is not a problem when it comes to James Talleyco. Look at this. All of these people showed up to Arlington, Texas to hear the New American Dream Economic Vision speech. I mean, it's getting so crazy over there that literal Republicans are endorsing, sorry, the independent mayor of Arlington endorsed James Talleyco for U.S. Senate in Texas.

about y'all, but I'm awfully tired. It's not just because I'm old and I walked up to stairs back there. It's because I'm tired of divisive politics. I'm tired of hateful rhetoric. I'm tired of corruption. I'm tired of criminals running for office. I'm so tired that I'm willing to fight for what's right. And Tala Rico is what's right for this state.

Awesome. Sounds like that mayor thinks James Talariko can win the race in Texas. Wish some Democrats thought the same way. And if they didn't, wish they just, you know, spoke with some optimism. And then Georgia, a conservative radio host expressed why John Ossoff is doing so well in his race for re-election. His constituent services, he's learned. You talk to farmers in South Georgia. They can get him on the phone.

They can get a staff on the phone. They can get help. You talk to Republicans in Houston County, very Republican part of the state. They know they can reach out to Osov and he doesn't care that they're Republican. If they need something, he's going to get it done. I mean, I think this is like the theme here. But yeah, that is kind of what it's all about. I mean, I think we've kind of all lost sight of this.

Government is supposed to be boring. And it's supposed to be full with people who are quite, frankly, maybe not the most exciting individuals in the world. But they, one, know how to get things done and two, want to improve the lives of people. We're in this environment right now where the folks who run for office just want to be famous and want to make as much money as possible.

As you can see, though, when you got people in there who are willing to do the work to improve people's lives, it makes a difference. And then it makes people think that government actually might be something worth protecting. It really does help fight fascism. One of the best ways to fight fascism and tyranny authoritarianism is by making government work for most people. Because when people think it doesn't work, they're like, well, then why? They're like, why even, what's the point of voting? What's the point of voting if voting doesn't change anything? I mean, this is a bit of a non-sequitur, but look at this.

This image gave me a lot of joy. Anthony Fauci has been put through hell, and this image, this is going to be one of those images that probably just really represents this moment we've lived through. We didn't talk about it too much on the channel because it's honestly just, they want us to talk about it other than the Iran War and the Epstein Files and Israel. Donald Trump's corrupt. They don't want us talking about any of that. They want us talking about Anthony Fauci. Well, we didn't really do that. We're not taking the bait on like mainstream media. His life is being put through hell and it's so upsetting because Anthony Fauci, if you don't know,

first off, he helped manage our response to COVID, which quite frankly was very successful. Operation Warps would be one of the actual good things the Trump administration did in its first year. they were able to get a shot in people's arms in record time, helped stop the pandemic faster. And he really dedicated his life to service. He had so much work around the HIV epidemic and helping gay men survive AIDS. So it's just so crazy to me that the end of his life,

when he really should be revered, he's being put through hell. And so, yeah, I'm glad this lady, his wife, is telling them the fuck off, as they should. All right. This truly is what Good News Friday is all about because the owner of Grady White boats. I don't even know what that is. I don't even know what that is, okay?

He could have sold his business for hundreds of millions of dollars, but instead he decided to turn the company over to a charitable trust. And here's a bit more of that. Good life, one man secured for the people who work for him. You see, Eddie Smith owned a successful luxury boat company. And instead of sailing off into the sunset, he set up a safe harbor for hundreds of, of his employees. Eddie Smith bought Grady White boats in Greenville, North Carolina, back in 1968. The company was sinking fast. Eddie was its lifeline. Word on the street is that

you were putting in a hundred hour weeks. Yeah, I belong to three golf clubs when I bought Grady White, and I've never hit a golf ball since. Soon enough, the company turned a corner, then a profit, emerging as a leader in the luxury boat industry. Smith had hoped his legacy would be a long-lived family business. I thought that my son would carry one more generation, but that wasn't God's plan. His son Chris died in 2021 of ALS, a neurodegenerative disease. His wife died a year earlier of Alzheimer's. He could have sold the business for hundreds of millions of dollars. But instead, he invested in his other family, his employees, turning the company over to a charitable trust, meaning the company can never be sold. We had people dancing in the house. And,

And it's a big deal for them. And the company's tens of millions of dollars in future profits will go to charitable causes like conservation, health care, and education. What do you think your wife and your son would make of your decision to put this company in a trust and essentially give it all away? I don't think I know they would be absolutely thrilled. They're smiling up there. Well, that's a good example to all of us.

And I hope one day, I don't know, maybe there'll be some billionaires. that follow his lead, but that's nice to know that at least there's one man out there who's made a lot of money and is like, hey, I'm going to do good with it rather than just hoard it.
