Well, on one level, we had a couple of stations actually stand up to Donald Trump and what I thought was a very incredible way. It's a small way, but it's an incredible way. When everyone is just completely subservient to one man, it's incredible to see that ABC and other stations have decided to actually show Donald Trump the biggest baby in the world getting booed. I'm going to show you that in a moment. Fox News, though, got caught editing the video to make. make it look like Trump is just getting cheered. And we also have MTV by way of CBS bending the knee to Donald Trump. Let's get to that first because I thought this was shocking, knowing the history of MTV.

Here's how LL Cool J started off the night. That's right, this is the birthplace of MTV, the place where so many music legends got their start. Now tonight, we're all here for one reason. Music. Music is a force that brings us. is a force that brings us all together and we're leaving everything else at the door. This is our night off. Man, so saying it without saying in here, CBS, who settled $16 million,

made a settlement of $16 million and Donald Trump wrongfully sued him, decided that the music video awards was going to be about everything else but what's happening right now in our country. And Ezra Klein put it best, I mean, I have the editor put the article here, but authoritarianism isn't on the way. It's here. It's here. And stuff like that helps ensure that it stays. Now, I found this clip, I don't think you're going to see this anywhere else. I found this clip from MTV in 1995, where Madonna was presenting a hip-hop music award, filling in for someone else. And look at the difference 30 years mix. This is 30 years ago in 1995. Bob Dole is sorry he couldn't be here tonight to give the award away for the best rap video.

So I'll be speaking on his behalf. He's tied up in the Senate basement right now. And the reason why she's saying that is because Bob Dole was a huge critic of gangster rap and his wife, Tipper Groer, actually made it so that rap album started to have parental advisory. Now, the U.S. Open actually instructed networks to not carry the booze. The U.S. Tennis Association's request that broadcasters, quote, refrain from showcasing any disruptions to the president's attendance in any capacity was an embarrassment. Can you believe they did that? This is not North Korea or Russia. It is not ABC, ESPNs, or any other broadcasters job to stroke President Donald Trump's ego, his vice president, cabinet secretaries, and Republican House. leadership that covered it. Now, Fox News I'm going to show you was caught doing just that,

but ABC and ESPN and other stations did not. It goes on to say ABC and ESPN refused to cowtow while they didn't linger on Trump when he was shown during the national anthem ahead of the finals. They didn't filter out the reaction to him either. The jeers and cat calls resounding in Arthur Ashe Stadium. Shall we watch? I'm sure many of you have seen this, but I bet you You will enjoy seeing it once more and I have to be honest as of this recording. I have not seen this. I know what happened. I haven't seen that.

I'm gonna show you this a moment Fox News actually cut out all the booing here's the Daily Mail actually showing the booing you can hear it I mean it was smart of them to have the music playing so that they couldn't like hear all the booze but certainly not enough booze not enough booze for my liking now here's what Fox News showed did they just have somewhat like five people buy my go so that it sounded like it was the actual crowd that's incredible I don't know how they did that

Now, Donald Trump also fell asleep at the stadium because Donald Trump actually doesn't do any work. And I wonder how much of his time is spent just doing nothing at all but dozing off. Because he is 79. He is 79. I take a nap every day. And I'm 40. Imagine being 79 and having this type of job. I couldn't do it. I would just, man, I wouldn't have had a voice left if that were me. I would have booed until my throat was bleeding. I cannot stand him.

Booming is very American. Very American. What he's doing right now, threatening to go to war with Chicago, not American. Booming couldn't be more American. But Gavin Newsom said, why is he sitting on a chair? He's so much more comfortable on a couch. couch. Let me let you ponder that one. Thank you to the folks of, uh, who attended the U S open, who booed the president. Thank you to the networks who didn't appease the authoritarian government in our country and MTV paramount shame on you for what you've become. But one thing we're not going to do here is ever succumb to the authoritarian government. Ever, ever. Write it down, never doing it.
