Well, I think Grandpa needs another MRI because Donald Trump just got done giving his Veterans Day speech, which went completely off the rails. He couldn't remember a very normal song that I'm sure you know the lyrics to. I feel like the President of the United States should know the lyrics to those songs. And he also just cannot stop talking about death. He can't stop talking about death. Now, first, let us get into what is going. Well, this is, I think, I'm going to fact check this, but Donald Trump did rename Veterans Day.

He says, here's a bit of what he said here. As you know, today is not only Veterans Day, but it's my proclamation that we are now going to be saying and calling Victory Day for World War I Victory Day. You know, I was recently at an event, and I saw France was celebrating Victory Day, but we didn't. And I saw France was celebrating another victory day for World War II. And other countries were celebrated.

They were all celebrated. We're the one that won the wars. And I said, from now on, we're going to say victory day for World War I and World War II. And we could do for plenty of other wars, but we'll start with those two. Maybe someday somebody else will add a couple of times. of more because we won a lot of good ones but when I see other countries celebrating Victory Day I watched

Victory Day like he wants to rename the oceans the only thing he can do he can't really he can't pass legislation He can't, all he can do is destroy and rename things. That's all he's capable of doing. He posted here many of our allies and friends are celebrating May 8th as victory day, but we did more than any other country by far in producing a victorious result in World War II. I'm hereby renaming May 8th as Victory Day for World War II and November 11th as Victory Day for World War I.

We won both wars. Nobody was close to us in terms of strength. I really blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, I asked Google about this. I said, can the president just rename a federal holiday? And of course not. Of course not. No, the president cannot rename federal holidays like Veterans Day. Only Congress has the power to do so through legislation.

While a president can issue proclamations or suggest renaming a holiday, the change must be enacted by an act of Congress to become official. So a president's power, president can, has no real power to rename a federal holiday. Congressional power is to officially change a name. And this is, I mean, this is just couldn't be clear. But of course, Donald Trump doesn't care. And what's, I think, really interesting about this moment is, like, does it really matter if Congress does or doesn't do it? if the president and 40% of his supporters start calling something a different name than the one it's supposed to be called.

And separately, I would be remiss not to mention that it's really funny to me that these folks have such a hard time. Just if someone identifies as a different gender, just, you know, acknowledging that, respecting that. but they want to rename federal holidays and expect us to identify the holiday in the way that they see it. Funny. Hypocrical. Now, Donald Trump, this is sad. Mrs. Sad. Donald Trump doesn't know the song, God Bless America.

Watch him. He only knows the first three words. Katie Vance knows it. Do you know it? Do you know the lyrics to God Bless America? Those lips aren't moving. There he goes. He knows those. He knows those.

America, my own sweet home. Makes you feel really proud, right? You proud to be American? President of the United States doesn't even know the words. God bless America. Now, this was truly just like, and I just want to say to, this is like this is what it means

when there's like an imbalance. in the power of our media because with both of these things, I want to just showed you in this coming up, if this were Joe Biden, the media, the right-wing media ecosystem would not stop talking about it. And then the quote-unquote liberal media, the legacy media, corporate media,

would feel compelled to talk about it. That doesn't happen on our side yet. It will. If you want to make independent media more powerful, do hit like on this video and subscribe. But here is Donald Trump just, I mean, it really is a sign of old age that his brain is turning to mush. Try to follow this. We're also confronting the challenge of veterans' homelessness.

And earlier this year, I signed an order establishing the National Center for Warrior Independence to house up to 6,000 veterans in need. And we will not stop until we have ended the tragedy of homeless veterans. once and for all, I'd see in New York where people that came into our country illegally, they came in illegally, would be put up in hotels, and veterans would be sitting on the sidewalk outside of that hotel where these other people are put in. And many of the people that came in were put in from prisons. They were murderers.

They were drug dealers. They were people that we didn't want in our country. They were staying in hotels, luxury hotels, our veterans was sitting on the sidewalks, watching them go in. I said, that's never going to happen under this administration. Nurse, nurse, grandpa's loose. Grandpa's loose. Get the MRI machine fired up.

Oh, my God. All right, and then he cannot stop talking about death. I have this, and then I'm going to end it with the Fox News interview. Dear God, he said, we ask only this, that we, if we die, we must die, and we as men would die without complaining, without pleading, and safe in the feeling that we have. It's really funny to me that Donald Trump is talking about dying and not complaining. This is, he is the person I think he's complained the most out of any adult I've ever known in my life. Now, Donald Trump yesterday was asked about the fact that he claims.

that he's not going to heaven. He just says he's being funny. In October, you were asked about ending wars, and you talked about that, and you said, I don't think there's anything that's going to get me into heaven. I think I'm not maybe heaven-bound. A lot of Christians were sort of sad to hear that

because Christ came to forgive our sins, if you believe that as Christians, and they open heaven to all of us. So don't you believe that? So the other day the New York Times did a story, and took that statement totally, literally. When I made that statement, I was being funny, sarcastic. You know, it's bad for a politician to be sarcastic.

I said, I'm never going to make it to heaven. A big audience. I don't think I can make it. I don't think I qualify, you know, et cetera. I was kidding. I was having fun. I don't know if I will or not. I don't know.

Well, there you go. He just said it again. He doesn't know. I think, I believe. him. I believe him. I this is, now I am just I am just I'm just

thinking out loud but I think this man has heard some news that he does not, he knows he's not going to be around much longer. That would be my guess. That is the only reason why people talk like this. And certainly
