Mostly what I wanted to talk about was the fact that I am, first of all, a huge fan of Jasmine Crockett, right? She is fiery. She's quick-witted. She is so intelligent. I would follow her. through hell. She is amazing. However, when you made your case about voting for James Tala Rico in the primary to actually get that spot, you know, to flip Texas like that, I think you're right. Like, you made so many good points. I mean, you convinced me. My wife and I are both voting Tala RICO in the primary, and I hope others hear that as well,

because it's very tempting to vote for Jasmine because she is amazing. She is awesome. But so is James Tala Rico. Brandon, thanks for calling in. And listen, I've actually gotten a lot of heat from this, especially this past week over this goddamn primary. I'm not going to shut up about it. A lot of people, I was trending on threads a couple of days ago

because of things I've been saying related to this race. And I'm not going to shut up. And as you said, I've mirrored that. Jasmine Crockett is an amazing talent. She's an amazing talent. I quite like her. In fact, I've posted about her a lot on this channel. Now, we have to be very clear-eyed about what it's going to take to win Texas,

the type of person it's going to take to win Texas. I think Jasmine Crockett would sail through a primary in Delaware, in Maryland, in New York. I think Jasmine Crockett is going to have a really hard time convincing independent voters or Republican light voters to vote for her because she's been such a firebrand for Democrats. And I think what we need in Texas is someone who can feel a bit independent from the party and someone who can't speak to disaffected Republican voters. And by the way, not for nothing, just to sign of like who's taking this seriously and who's not,

Jasmine Crockett doesn't even have a policy page on her website yet. She's been in this race for almost two months, and there's still no consideration of like what her issue, like what her position on the issues are, what she wants to do for Texas, how she sees her role in the Senate as it comes to legislating for the country. I think that's something to consider as well. But what we're not going to do is be quiet because some people get mad because they don't like that we're not fully behind someone that they support. And the things we're talking about with this race all backed up by data, opinions backed up by facts. James Telerico, just so you you know, we don't know if Jasmine Crockett can convince Republican voters to vote for her. I personally believe

in a state like Texas, you kind of need some Republicans to vote for you. You need some independence to vote for you. Second largest voting block in the state Latinos. That's important information. I'm going to tell you in a second. James Salarico in 2018 flipped his district from Republican to Democrat, but Greg Abbott carried that district. So the Republican Tolariko voter exists. Now, Jasmine Crockett has faced a very challenging primary previously, but she's never faced a challenging general election. And she's won in a very blue district.

Listen, as I said a million times, we love Jasmine. I love Jasmine. I think she would be an amazing senator. I think she's going to have a hard time flipping that seat. And I'm sorry. I'm not going to shut up about this because this is the difference between potentially Democrats having a slight majority in the Senate, which I would love or not. And this is to me really just all about defeating fascism and fighting Donald Trump

and making sure that we have power so we can protect the most vulnerable people in this country and we can protect our democracy. So that's why I'm so adamant about not only this. race, but about saying what I think is what I believe to be true. Now, I could be wrong. I could be wrong. I don't think I am, but I could be wrong. It could be that the Starscare line that Ken Paxton, who was impeached, could potentially become the nominee, and then someone like Tala Rico, who seems independent of the party, which, by the way, the party's not very popular right now, and can speak to disaffected Republicans and independents, and has a message of unity.

and, you know, Christian love, blah, blah, blah. Sounds like a good combination to me. The stars could potentially align. Regardless, it's all in the name of defeating fascism. I'm glad that you are voting for Tala Rico. You know, if you are in Texas, and by the way, early voting starts on the 17th, I would just say I'm not going to tell you who to vote for.

George Washington used the strategy of always keeping some kind of army in the field. Today's army in the field consists of protesters, and the protest movement keeps growing. As for the question, I've heard comments and seen, you know, some comments here elsewhere in many places about the DOJ mistakenly releasing some information with the latest

Epstein files. And I believe that's at least partially true, particularly with the sheer volume. Of course, some would slip. But I wonder if there are some insiders there that don't like what they are seeing and allowed some of the Trump references, among others. to slip out even just to see the light of day for a moment before being redacted. But into your second point about the Epson Files, I would say it would be nice to think that there are people who are in our government, who are trying to do their own form of protest and make sure that people are aware of Trump and the things that he's done that are wrong.

Unfortunately, unfortunately, I personally believe that when it comes to this sort of shit, these are just people who are just, they don't know what they're doing, you know? These are not, these are not people who are very messed. masterful what they're doing. And I kind of think to me the most obvious answer is these people are just incompetent. And so they're just making tons of mistakes. There's millions and millions of files. And they know probably the important ones they don't want to be seen.

But there's just a lot of little stuff that gets through. So that would be my guess. But I suppose it's nice to think that perhaps there's some person in the DOJ doing their own little form of protest to get stuff out there that would otherwise not be seen. I don't know if there's enough time or not, but to create a super pack. that we can all donate to that to support the Democratic candidates coming up in November. Because I think that's something that we still need on the left is a lot more content creators who are independent. So that's something I was thinking about.

That's one idea. But let me know what you think about that. But certainly, I feel like that. like after what happened with Alex Preti and the we raised $1.8 million for him, there's certainly so much more good we can do. I came here in 2001 legally through my papers and all, and I have a son who's an American citizen here. But, you know, this country did inspire me because I traveled the world a lot before I came to the U.S. And I love the people, meaning whatever the policies of the government have been, meaning I'm educated, so I'm not just blind to a lot of stuff what the U.S. has done across, you know, putting dictators on. But I have really loved the people and I have been the ideals that the U.S. stood for.

The people stand for and they make the politicians stand. But recently I've been really, really disappointed. with what's going on across. I would say Democrats, that's the party I belong to now. I think I've gone extreme left to Bernie Sanders. I thought I was more of a moderate Democrat. No, that's not the case. Thank you so much, Keith.

But I do think we are ultimately very good. And I do think there is goodness here and there is goodness to be uncovered. And goodness, if nourished, can grow. I do also think with what's happened with ICE, it's made people wake up. It's made people wake up. And there was a clip that went viral at a wrestling match where they were yelling F. Ice, chanting F. ICE. I just feel like there's a majority of Americans who are just watching this stuff. And they're like, no, this is not us. This is not us. I totally agree. So I don't know if you can tell that I'm like super uncomfortable. And I was trying to be I was trying to be I was trying to be I was trying to be good job being present. But I was being present and also trying to just trying to ignore the fact that I was sweating so much in that jacket. So whenever you see me do something that's like outside of this like if I'm doing an interview or if I'm like on TV or anything like that, there's a high chance percentage. that I am sweating like a motherfucker. I don't know what that is. I hate that. I hate that I do that.

I have a statement and a question. My statement is I'm very, very proud of the people my age and older voicing in any way they can,

their dislike of what's going on in our country. And my question is how to be friends that you've been friends with for a while with Trump supporters. It makes for a very, very difficult friendship. And the thing is, is I just feel like they're your friends, right? They're your friends. And I know it feels like a huge divide, but they're your friends. They're your family. There's so much more than politics. And what Trump wants and what helps them is if we're not talking. all, okay? I don't think you have to talk about politics with everyone. We are in the fight for fascism. We are in a fight against a tyrant who is president of the United States. But I think one of the

ways you can fight it is actually by sticking with people who see things differently than you do. Because as we're seeing, people are waking up to like, hey, this is like weird. Like this is not America. This is wrong. You want to be there to receive that if and when it happens with your friends or your family. And one thing I would recommend doing is just don't be judgmental. Okay. The way I look at it is that we have people in this country who have been fed poison. A lot of people say, well, they're the ones taking the poison. Yeah, you're right. You're right. But if someone has cancer, I don't know. You don't hate the person who's sick. You hate the sickness. So I don't hate the people who are sick. I hate the people who are making them sick. I don't even know if I hate them. I think hates a

strong word. I very strongly dislike, but I do think that loving your family and your friends, even though they're very sick, is one way you can show up for them. It's one way you can show up your country. And who knows, one day they might be coming to you and be like, hey, I don't like what's going on here. And you can just, and I would recommend if that happens, don't saying, yeah, hello, I told you so, just saying, oh yeah, me too. I'm so glad you see it that way now. Okay, but stay friends with them. Anyway, I heard tonight that they're trying to block, they're trying to get the DOJ to block or to pull down all Epstein files. And my question is, do you have copies? Does anyone have copies?

They're paying attention, and we're noticing when those things happen. And they are deleting things. that have been made public, which doesn't make sense.
